Yelp
Super unimpressed. And I normally do not give harsh reviews, but here we go.
First, the good. Despite the fact that this place has jumped on board with the whole scam-your-menu and have-minimal-communication-with-your-server bandwagon, I still had a tentative waitress who came to check on me multiple times, including at the beginning to ensure I knew how to use the QR code and digital ordering platform. I'm sorry, I just don't get the need for getting rid of the human interaction experience that people used to be excited about when going out to eat. But the three stars is for my waitress, who was awesome.
Now, there has been somewhat of a movement that I have noticed, when it comes to airport restaurants and them upping their game. Which I have always appreciated, since airport food is so expensive. So, with that in mind, the food at this place did not help to earn any stars. The burger I ordered did not come as described, not even having the listed special ketchup, and having no sauce at all, which made it dry. The burger was also overcooked, and to tell you the truth, I am pretty sure it was made before hand to save on time and just left under a heat lamp until someone ordered. The stale bun and rubbery burger and cheese sure made it feel this way at least.
As far as ambience, it was an airport restaurant - not that this means they can't try. I did appreciate the big windows so I could watch people come and go on their planes. I like doing this, like to imagine who might be coming and going and why.
So, that's what have for this one. Felt it was kind of a let down for the price and the whole order through an app trend. Wouldn't be my first choice in the food court if I'm ever laid over here again. I'm full though.
