Bright all-day outpost offering vegetarian & vegan fare, plus juices in a relaxed space.
"Whenever we need to make vegan brunch plans, Butcher's Daughter tops the list. Weekends here are crowded and a bit chaotic, but the tater tot-stuffed breakfast burrito and jackfruit "crab cake" benedict are worth any hassle. Just put your name in and go wander around a nearby boutique full of overpriced candles until your table is ready. They also have an all-you-can-eat breakfast bar on weekdays for just $28, which includes coffee, cold-press juices, "chicken" & waffles, and frittatas. If you can, grab a table on their tiny front patio for some of the best people-watching on the Westside. " - brant cox, sylvio martins
"This Friday, the plant-based darling is rolling out the summer edition of its weekday all-inclusive breakfast. The Butcher’s Breakfast Club will offer continental breakfast, set up at the restaurant’s greenhouse-inspired bar, featuring locally roasted Canyon Coffee, mini cold-pressed juices, mini superfood smoothies, house-made pastries, lassi overnight oats, house-made sourdough with butter and preserves, and house-made pita with whipped dates and feta." - Karen Palmer

"The Butcher’s Daughter continues its vegetarian march through Los Angeles with the opening of a new location at 8755 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood this Saturday, September 24. The West Hollywood location, which previously housed Parisian steak frites import Le Relais De ’L’Entrecote, shares an intersection with clubby Italian restaurant Cecconi’s and is blocks away from busy evening destinations Gracias Madre and Craig’s. Founder and creative director Heather Tierney designed the 4,000-square-foot Melrose outpost to cater to a nighttime crowd, with a central 25-foot long, custom-made greenhouse that covers a long, brass-topped bar." - Karen Palmer
