Garden-driven neighborhood bistro with Michelin Green Star status
"Tucked across from Chastain Park in a quiet, tree-lined pocket of Buckhead, I experienced The Chastain as a true neighborhood treasure that shifts from a morning café reminiscent of a French patisserie to a relaxed yet refined lunch and an evening destination for celebrations, with produce from its own garden and nearby farms ensuring consistent quality; playful, decadent items like the beef tallow tater tots topped with crème fraîche, chives and Osetra caviar capture the restaurant’s elevated-but-approachable spirit." - Michael He
"You’re bound to see triathlete-looking types biking and running around Chastain Park. Ignore them, because we’d say there are more important things to get into in the park, and The Chastain is one of them. The neighborhood bistro serves Southern dishes like single-serving ramekins of delicious chicken pot pie. The menu largely revolves around seasonal produce from local vendors and from The Chastain’s own on-site garden. So, expect a menu that changes with the season, but we’ll bet favorites like the tasty, picturesque TC burger will be a mainstay." - demarco williams, nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard
"Don’t sweat that the valet folks parked your ‘99 Camry next to two Bentleys. Embrace the noontime valet experience because it leads to one of the best burgers in town. The Chastain in Buckhead is a chill but snazzy white tablecloth American bistro with a huge outdoor patio that’s shaded by trees and plants. It’s a hangout for business lunches and nannies with strollers—who, like us, return again and again to dive into the burger, featuring two thin patties, sweet caramelized onions, and a buttery toasted bun. Or go lighter with the tasty sprouts wrap, packed with curried flatbread, tender salmon, lemon vinaigrette, and cucumber salad. Either way, you'll leave feeling fancier than anyone driving those Bentleys." - jacinta howard
"Your pup can’t enjoy the gorgeous modern farmhouse-style dining room, of course, but the Chastain’s garden-style patio? That they can hang out on. Go for a walk in the nearby park and grab a seat surrounded by gorgeous greenery and blooms with an iced Brash coffee beverage and one of their house-made pastries — just don’t be surprised if your dog begs for a bite." - Su-Jit Lin
"A more formal option that impresses: the cuisine displays a clear passion for cooking and an emphasis on grown ingredients, the wine list is strong, and the expert service adapts to the occasion, making it suitable for high-end client meals or team celebrations." - Henna Bakshi
