"One of the progenitors of the city’s cocktail craze, the Courtesy still lays claim to the tippler’s haunt of choice thanks to the scholarly nerds behind the bar and the locally sourced and seasonal ingredients going into their mixers and garnishes. Its move from the downtown core to Winter Park didn’t affect the vibe any — its throwback apothecary motif and intimate layout is still a boozer’s sanctuary. And be patient — well-constructed cocktails take time and precision. Literate types will want to give good study to the nifty selection of absinthes." - Faiyaz Kara

"The Courtesy is a dark, atmospheric bar that ticks all design checkboxes: Edison bulbs, wooden apothecary cabinet, pressed tin ceiling. But the drinks are inventive and the menu changes every three months based on the season and the bartender's moods, so you'll never get bored. The large menu is divided into sections by base spirit. Each drink has a three-word descriptor ("slightly sweet," "spirit-forward," "smooth"), but if nothing stands out, bartenders are standing by to craft something bespoke." - Laura Ratliff

The courtesy is the perfect place to end your week with a happy hour! This speakeasy type bar is absolutely fabulous in every sense. The staff is extremely professional and make the most incrediblycurated drinks! At this time of the year, through the holidays, they completely decorate the bar out so that you feel you’re in a ghoulish atmosphere at Halloween. The spooky the drinks are spicy and the cups they come in are incredibly interesting! Once Halloween is over, it rolls over and becomes the Miracle on Orange and it’s fully decked out in Christmas, decorations and lights. Once you step in you feel like you’re in an enchanted world. Their menu is small, but perfect. Anything on that menu is absolutely delicious and you cannot go wrong with it whether you’re in the mood for some hot curly fries or their incredible brussels sprouts you will never be let down!! Billy, Tracy, Carlos, Elisha , Jonathan, and so many more of the staff are absolutely tops!! if you’re a local, you probably know about it if you’re not a local, you have to check it out!

Google
one of our favorite places for all kinds of nights. date nights, group outings and holiday celebrations! this establishment is essential to this area. Courtesy is one of the very first places suggested when looking for a good time, great service and overall super chill vibes in Winter Park. i haven’t had too much of their bar eats but we have tried the sliders and their spin on a caesar salad, both superb! will be trying more with time of course. the bar manager, Josh and the rest of the guys are honestly the best time always! ✨

José Madera

Google
Immediately impressed by the atmosphere and utter professionalism of the staff (here’s looking at you Carlos!). Welcoming and cozy vibe. Superb craftsmanship, cocktails that impress on all fronts, and food that wants your soul as it fills your belly. Bravo The Courtesy, you live up to the manifesto that opens your drink menu!

Google
First time here, and the ervice was amazing, and the drinks wow outstanding! we ordered the brussels sprouts, pretzels bites, and with the sliders! great bartender here! highly recommend checking them out.

Google
Absolutely amazing spot. Food was delicious, craft drinks were amazing, and ambience was fun. The best part was our bartender who kept us laughing and hydrated. Highly recommend the Halloween pop up!!

Google
I went to the Courtesy for their halloween themed event. I ordered the nuka cola quantum and an onion smash burger. The smash burger had homemade pickles in it and was cooked perfectly and the drinks were great as well. I suggest getting a reservation. I do not know what the wait times look like outside of this themed event but the walk in wait time for a party of 3 was a little over an hour and a half. Staff were very friendly, Charlotte at the host stand was very personable. Prices were reasonable, the drinks were all around 14-16 dollars and the smash burger was $14. Parking is pretty easy as there is a lot right around the back of the bar and some street parking as well.

Google
WOOOOOOW! This gem has been around since 2012 and I am obsessed! Their signature crafted cocktails are as unique and well designed as you could imagine. The food was excellent. But truly their service is unmatched! Tamara and the entire team made me not just feel welcomed but feel wanted. It was an absolute joy! Can not recommend more highly!

Google
Looking for a little bit of Holly Jolly? It's absolutely worth swinging into Miracle on Orange at the Courtesy. Wait time varies 30-50ish minutes for parties of two but you won't be disappointed in the decor or the drinks. I highly recommend the Hot Buttered Rum and the yippie ki yay!

Yelp
The Courtesy is an awesome spot hidden behind a few other gems in Winter Park. The space is quite small, but the ambiance is gigantic. We went on their first night of the holiday overlay and it was fantastic - probably over the top, but worth it. Not only do they have a solid decor package, but they also have themed drinks and a solid staff. The themed drink menu was small, but had a plethora of options. Unfortunately, I didn't 100% love my drink, but I'm not sure if that was the drink or the pairing with the food. Either way, I think it would be worthwhile to try again. For food, we absolutely loved the sprouts, they had so much flavor and were quite different than the normal presentation. Those will now be on the must-list for this spot. I also loved the burger; nothing too over the top, but the meat was good, the bread was excellent, and the sauce wasn't overpowering. For a small menu, my two items were beyond compare.

Yelp
As an elder millennial, this place sucked. If I was 21, maybe I'd be hyped on it. We went for the holiday pop up. Arrived at 730 on Saturday and there was a 45 min wait. There's a tiny bar outside but they only offer the worst Pinot Grigio I've ever had, a red, and 2 mixed drinks. At the hour mark, I popped my head inside and the hostess said we were next. I decided to use the restroom and the guy in there didn't lock the door so ofc I walked in on him (but stuff happens we won't hold that against the bar). We got seated on the far wall facing the wall so you could not enjoy the ambience unless you stood up or turned yourself all the way around. The mixed drinks are pre made so you cannot ask them to alter them or have them less sweet etc. it took the bartender/waitress another 20 min to come back and take our drink order. The drinks were good and served in cute mugs (mine was a Christmas dinosaur). it was so loud you could barely hear each other talk and definitely not worth the hour and 20 min wait for drinks. There are plenty of other Christmas bars that are infinitely nicer for the amount of time and money spent here. If you're young and don't mind the wait and your stomach isn't middle aged and can handle the sugar, this place is probably just fine lol.

Yelp
Absolutely love this bar. The staff are amazing and always friendly. The area is convenient and away from the hustle and bustle. I had the slider appetizer and they were fabulous! Great atmosphere, with street and private parking. Low lighting for that private lounge feel. Add them to your list as a "must do" in Orlando.

Natalia L.

Yelp
Got the chance to go to this years miracle on orange and try a couple of different drinks and food. Food was delicious and comes out warm and perfectly cooked, we got the curly fries which were delicious and some pretzel bites with a smokey cheese that personally i wished was melted but still was good. Servers and bartenders were friendly, attentive and answered all questions we had even when it was a busy night with all seats filled. Of course this is one of my favorite bars in orlando as they care about the craft of cocktails and their themes and ambiance is aways nice and classy ;) . Hope to come back after the new year with friends and try new drinks!

Natalia P.

Yelp
What an amazing spot, finally able to stop by and see their halloween themed decor and drink menu. So impressed by the athmosphere and friendly staff. As you walk in you get greeter by the host, you can either sit at the bar or tables. Craft drinks are amazing, there is a history behind their cocktails.Staff is so welcoming. Definitely a place to stop by and see their detailed halloween decor and have one of their special halloween drinks. I got the matcha coquito. I love it, one of the best drinks I ever had. They also have a food menu. I didn't try this time but I will next time. Reservations are highly recommended, since it is a popular place to visit. Free street parking and also a small parking lot behind their place.

Yelp
This is my second year enjoying the Nightmare on Orange Ave Halloween event at the Courtesy and it was just as much fun as last year. We enjoyed the amazing food of the regular menu. The smash burger really hits the spot when you have so many delicious drinks to try. The Brussel sprouts are crispy and covered in a house made hot honey. The specialty drinks for the event are so fun and tasty! My favorite of the night was definitely the Stoney brook cobbler that had an amazing ginger taste. The presentation of the eye of newt was so fun! That one serves two people so don't come alone! The bartenders and staff are so friendly and we had a wonderful time getting a front row seat to watch them prepare all the fun for us. I will be happily returning for the next event at Christmas time!

Juliemar R.

Yelp
Every time I come here, I enjoy it! Nightmare on Orange and Miracle on Orange are some of the best times I've had anywhere. Their cocktails are very creative and the vibe is always on point. This last time we sat at the bar and it was such a great time! The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Do not skip the bites here! I've had just about everything on the menu and it's all good. The Brussels sprouts are my absolute fave!

Aidilyn G.

Yelp
Miracle on Orange was absolutely beautiful. They truly did such an amazing job turning the bar into a Christmas dream. Although the wait was 30 mins when we arrived for two, time flew by. They do have an outside bar on busier weekend nights which is a great option while you wait. They did have a smaller food menu but the options did seem delicious. My biggest worry about the wait time and no reservations available was being sat and rushed through... I was proved wrong because not once did any server rush anyone out. Everyone truly seemed like they were enjoying the festive atmosphere. We truly fell in love with this concept! Can't wait for next year to check out Nightmare on Orange and again this awesome Christmas theme!

Amy C.

Yelp
Another season of miracle at courtesy. My favorite time of the year. I brought a friend who's never been to the courtesy or has done miracle. She absolutely loved it all. All the drinks were tasty and delicious. We shared fries and the slider trio. Was perfect amount for us. We arrived before 6p on a Saturday and didn't have to wait. Another great experience here!

Christine F.

Yelp
The Courtesy is consistently one of my favorite cocktail bars in Winter Park! The bar tenders are always incredibly attentive and skilled at their craft-- the cocktails here are truly so unique and expertly crafted. Most recently, I went to The Courtesy for a Nightmare on Orange, where they completely deck out the bar with Halloween decorations, play spooky movies, and update their whole cocktail list with seasonal drinks. Definitely try to get a reservation if you can-- we showed up right at bar opening and were able to snag a spot after a brief wait, but it definitely gets very busy during the holidays! The Courtesy is worth the stop regardless of time of year!

Kassie C.

Yelp
I love the historical swanky atmosphere. The bartenders are so approachable. They know exactly what they are doing with cocktails. The Brussel sprouts good. The fried chicken was beyond spicy and i love spice. I would definitely revisit for a night cap.

Alessandra F.

Yelp
Finally came to to tree the Halloween-themed bar "Nightmare on Orange" and I was quite impressed with the ambiance! It was dark, spooky, and the so was the cocktail menu. Though the food menu is small, the options are solid and tastes very well! The cocktail I ordered wasn't every stand-out to me, but it was pretty to look at. Our server was attentive & gave us some recommendations throughout the night. The Courtesy is a really nice spot to hit when looking for holiday-themed bars.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Perfect spot for hand crafted cocktails, snacks and light gourmet bites served by friendly staff. Great all year long, but don't miss their seasonal events - Nightmare on Orange (Halloween) and Miracle on Orange (Christmas) which add festive decor, themed cocktails, menu and merch to enhance an already go-to spot.

Tom E.

Yelp
A very cool spot in the community! Always some cool event going on here. Whether it's Halloween or Christmas. They go all out. The food is top notch. The drinks are usually pretty good, but they can be hit or miss with some because of the price and the amount of ice they shove in them. It's the same alcohol always, as the bartenders are some of the best in the biz, but the drinks get watered down fast so you better drink fast. The drinks though are truly beautiful. Always served up in the most creative ways and cups. Space is an issue here. You definitely need a reservation if you have a party of more than 2. Even on weekdays. Staff is friendly enough. Depends on what day you catch them. Some of the coolest bartenders do work here though so you're usually in for a treat.

Roger Renzo R.

Yelp
I visited this place again, and it demonstrates to me how good it is. I tried this trio that has the chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, and a chichen sandwich with a sweet spicy sauce. The last one was my favorite. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy! The staff is always very nice and helpful. And I can't wait to see the decorations for Halloween!!

Hannah S.

Yelp
Love hanging out at The Courtesy for any occasion. I've been visiting the previous location for a few years and got to check out the Miracle Christmas pop up this year at the new location and loved the drinks we tried! Inside is cozy and inviting and makes you want to stay and hangout all night. You can get any number of the classic cocktails, order one of their own recipes or let them come up with something unique! They also offer a cocktail class. My partner gifted me one recently and we had a blast! You pick up on some tricks and get to work through 3 different cocktails. You also just have a great time listening to Mitchell and Josh talk about cocktails!

Isabel M.

Yelp
First time trying The Courtesy and it was such a fun experience! They have seasonal decor and drinks for the spooky season. We tried the day walker and Genever's body. The servers and bartenders were attentive and friendly. The day walker is on the lighter side and the Genever's was full of flavor and spicy. The music and ambiance was in line with the theme. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

Deanna L.

Yelp
I went on an early weekend afternoon and there weren't many people there and I tried the slider trio and a pear drink and an ube mocktail. The mocktails can have alcohol added to them if requested. I opted to leave it out. The ube mocktail was really delicious, like a more refreshing version of an ube boba tea. The pear cocktail was also very refreshing and fruity, like an adult lemonade. I always try to get the the slider trio when I come here. The slider trio comes with a chicken sandwich, a smashburger, and a thai chicken sandwich, it's always so good and a perfect complement to the drinks.

Mallory B.

Yelp
I had such a fun time at the Miracle on Orange Christmas pop-up bar! The wait wasn't too bad at 1.5 hours. The waitstaff could not have been more attentive or nicer. I ordered the Rudolph's Replacement cocktail which was served in a TRex cup. My friend ordered the Christmaspolitan. We ended up switching drinks because we each liked the other's drink better. Would definitely recommend checking out during the holiday season!

Jessica L.

Yelp
I absolutely love coming to The Courtesy! Especially ever since they moved out to Winter Park! The cocktails are always on par, and they also have new drinks regularly. The ambiance has dim lighting, and the tables make it so that you can have a very intimate time. I have gone with friends, girlfriends, significant other, and every time is just the best! Nightmare on Orange and Miracle on Orange are two of my favorite events to go to! I love the different themed cups that they have and the decorations are out of control! Don't forget to order food as well when you're there, the sliders and the brussel sprouts are my top two! I prefer sitting at the bar to watch the bartenders work - they are all so friendly, make great conversation, and can recommend the best drinks!

Xinxin L.

Yelp
Christmas is here! Festive decor and fun drinks to try. Friendly staff. Make reservation ahead unless going very late.

Tita R.

Yelp
I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible little bar. From the minute you walk in you're greeted by Billy with the biggest smile on his face who makes you feel at home right away. Once you settle up to the bar, you will either get Carlos Tracy, Juan, or one of their incredible other bartenders to serve you an amazing drink. These bartenders are the best mixologists out. So much so, that even if you do have a bit too much fun... you will never get a headache the next day! They drinks are so well poured and mixed If you're in the mood for some nibbles, you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. The kitchen has an incredible chef, and the Smashburger are absolutely out of this world!! . Don't even get me going on the curly fries! During the holiday season, this bar dresses up and you will have the best time of your life. If you have still not checked it out you have to go to Orange Avenue and visit The Courtesy!! Don't wait!! And tell them I say Hi

Shayn S.

Yelp
The Courtesy is a local cocktail bar in Winter park that offers unique cocktails as well as all the classics. It's dimly lit to provide a more intimate setting making it a great spot for a date. All the bartenders are very knowledgeable in the menu and provide great insight on what they recommend based on your tastes. The drinks were carefully crafted and presented beautifully. We enjoyed our cocktails a lot and had a great conversation with our bartender Josh. The bottom line, this is great bar for an intimate setting or for a small group of friends, can't say much about the food I haven't had that but the cocktails and service have always been top n

Shay M.

Yelp
I stopped by to experience the holiday bar pop up and this place didn't disappoint! I went at about 5p on a Friday and it was packed. I was able to snag the last bar seat and ordered Brussel sprouts along with a holiday drink. The food was fine and the drinks were good. I think the real charm of this place is the great service and how they lean into holiday themes. The holiday decor was amazing! I would definitely recommend for a cute night out!

Alicia C.

Yelp
The amount of times I've been to this place- as you can see by my pictures... lol. There's a reason this place has been recognized as one of the best bars in Orlando. The drinks are always fantastic, their bartenders are fantastic mixologists and great conversationalists. The ambiance is dark, with plenty of seating for big groups, couples, and bar seating. I love when they bring themed concepts for the holidays, it just makes it very fun and a must-do! Mitch is a great bartender & I recently met Hooker an extremely kind host that I hadn't met before. Always great to meet great people with great vibes surrounded by a memorable atmosphere.

Kieara G.

Yelp
I usually come to this location twice a year to experience the Halloween and Christmas themed bar but after Friday night, I am sad to say that I will not be returning. The hostess that night was extremely rude and I was completely taken aback by the unpleasant interaction from beginning to end. Luckily so many other bars are almost as festive around this time of year so I don't feel like I am missing out completely. The wait time is usually a little lengthy but that's to be expected and they have an outdoor bar area which is a nice addition.

Bonnie J.

Yelp
All the Halloween vibes here! They did such a tremendous job giving this bar a very spooky feel and I appreciated all the attention to detail. Every direction and angle you glanced at, there was a fun Halloween decoration to feast your eyes on. Loved all the skeleton animals, cobwebs, creepy dolls and dim lighting. My boyfriend & I went on a Sunday at around 3:45pm (they opened their doors at 3) and we had no issue getting a seat at the bar (parties of 4 or more can make reservations online). As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by multiple bartenders who were very friendly, attentive and ready to answer any questions we had about the menu. Of course we decided to choose the cocktails with the most festive presentations (please take one & spite fright) because.. duh? I was warned that my drink (please take one) was the sweetest on the menu, but I didn't find it to be overly sugary (the tequila seemed to balance it out well). The "spite fright" cocktail was great as well and was very refreshing. Didn't order food since we popped in here on our way to dinner, but our experience, although brief, was a pleasant one. The only reason I don't feel compelled to give 5 stars is because the one detail that was a miss was the music for me. They had grungy rock music playing which I felt didn't fit the vibe at all and took away from the ambiance. Some creepy or Halloween themed music would have gone a long way. Just a minor critique but hopefully it's taken into consideration.

Brittany M.

Yelp
The courtesy is such a great craft cocktail bar. They truly redefine their craft - especially during the holidays with their Halloween Event "Nightmare on Orange" and their Christmas event "Miracle on Orange". I'm anxiously awaiting the return of their Christmas event! The bar is adorned with festive decor, really setting the tone for your evening! They have delicious bar bites available from Swine & Sons that are quite tasty! I've not had the chance to explore the menu in depth, but the few items I've had were amazing. I need to plan on food and drinks next time! Be prepared to wait if your visiting one of the events! I waited over 2 hours for a table with our a reservation (it was only 2 of us and they only accept reservations of 4+). You are welcome to place your name on the wait and come back later if you want to find a spot to kill time while you wait. Highly recommend giving this spot a try this holiday season!

Gabe M.

Yelp
We are THRILLED to have The Courtesy in our Winter Park neighborhood. :D We've been a few times and just recently attended their Nightmare on Orange themed nights and really enjoyed it. The service and food here is high high quality, but in a casual and fun environment. The music is always great, and I always appreciate how knowledgable the servers are on the drinks and ingredients. It's almost like they are all bartenders and know how to get you something you'd like, whether it's on their featured cocktails or not. We will always come back here to support, as it's probably our favorite bar in town now. Oh, and did I mention they have an incredible food menu? It's way more than bar food. You can definitely have dinner here if you're flexible on what to eat. Go check it out!

Yanin H.

Yelp
Extremely over rated. Very over priced. Staff is extremely rude. Don't waste your time. It's a tiny bar. Drinks are over priced.

Matt T.

Yelp
What a cute bar. Very quaint and fun. Unique cocktails and fun atmosphere. The staff was very helpful when you're indecisive as I am for a good cocktail. I would recommend for a quick drink with friends and next time I go I want to try the handhelds all of them sound delicious but I had already eaten and we stopped in for cocktails.

Irene T.

Yelp
We came here with our gym for a night out. The drinks are ok, but our server Alyssa was absolutely horrible. When I walked in, I was told by 2 people in our group to order at the bar because she sucked. When I was waiting, she came up to me & told me she was our server, and to order all our drinks from her. I thought ok. & ordered from her. My husband was complaining to me throughout the night about how she sucked & he couldn't get a drink to save his life. My husband has not had a drink in 6 years, so he's normally our DD. He asked for soda water 3x, which he had to keep reminding her that she never got. She gave him an attitude once & told him I KNOW I KNOW. He got annoyed & figured she wasn't bringing it because it wasn't bringing any money, so he asked for a coke & it was brought out shortly after. I ordered throughout the night, and when I ordered my drink, I asked if she could also bring a soda water for my husband because he doesn't drink alcohol. She brought my drink, but forgot his. I asked her where his soda water was, and she left and came back and shoved it into my hands & said HERE. Parts of it spilled all over my hands. I don't know what her problem is. Maybe she was having a bad night. Maybe she didn't want to serve our group of 25+ people, but this will be my first & last experience here.

Janai M.

Yelp
The cocktails are unique and of great quality and the atmosphere is a nice warm ambiance. They do a great job at decorating for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas, and offer a good selection of seasonal cocktails. The staff is always friendly/inviting ..and some energetic.

Charles M.

Yelp
The casual atmosphere and creative drink menu are good reasons to hang out here with friends or just stop in for a "bartender's choice" cocktail. The select food items from Swine & Sons compliment the drinks or just take the edge off one's hunger. I thoroughly enjoyed my Death of a Strawberry, a concoction of barrel-aged gin, pistachio, strawberry honey, lemon, and rose. I rarely order a mixed drink and this one was perfect for the hot day and my taste buds. I chose the Loaded Potatoes and Spoonburger Empanadas from the food menu as small bites, sharing them with my wife. The baby potatoes were roasted well and the accompanying green onion, seasoning and sauce were perfect and I enjoyed them. Just wished the portion contained a bit more (the serving dish was half-filled). The empanadas' pastry was stuffed full of the barbecue braised ground beef and the smashed potato with cheese sauce. While flavorful, the potato-to-sauce ratio landed on the dry side for me. Back to the mixed drinks. A couple friends ordered "bartender's choice". It is what it sounds - the bartender chooses what to create. I really enjoyed the bartender walking to our table with the drink and explaining the elements and nuances. Each creation was thoroughly enjoyed by my table mates. Easily I can see it's a place to stop by before or after supper for drinks, or just to hang out with friends and family. With a changing drink menu (and I heard their Christmas / Holiday drink selection is worth a stop) and the partnering with Swine & Sons, the Courtesy is set to be around for awhile.

Allison B.

Yelp
I'm so glad I got to check out Nightmare on Orange at The Courtesy! I've visited The Courtesy in the past and really enjoyed the ambiance and cocktails, so I knew the Halloween theming would just take an already great bar to the next level. I love that the Halloween decor is spilling out into the courtyard in front of the bar, so you start to be immersed in the spooky vibes even before you get seated. I tried the Spite Fright vodka-based cocktail and it was delicious! It was light and refreshing with a lemony kick to it. My friend got Occam's Razor. While I'm not typically a bourbon fan, the caramel aftertaste to this was incredible! It was the perfect fall flavor profile. Some things to be aware of before you visit: This is a very popular spot right now - be prepared to wait for a table. My party of 2 at 8:00 on a Tuesday had to wait 30 minutes, which I think was definitely worth it. Also, only the Nightmare on Orange menu, as well as call drinks are currently being served. The Courtesy's Happy Hour and standard menu are on hold during this event. I am so glad I was able to visit before Halloween, this was the perfect ambiance to get me in the spooky mood for Halloween! I can't wait to revisit next year!

Anna T.

Yelp
Went to the Courtesy around Halloween this year and they always do a phenomenal job of decorating and curating seasonal cocktail menus! I will say the drinks were a little strong for my taste but the service here is always exceptional as well. Several cocktail servers as well as runners so your drink never sits out too long waiting. They even go so far as to decorate the bathrooms! Also just a great location in general, parallel and lot parking as well as great proximity to winter park, Foxtail and Kelly's ice cream right next door. Must visit place for cocktail overs in Central Florida.

Jeff N.

Yelp
While walking to Foxtail Coffee Company, my wife and I noticed this spot that looked like a cool hangout to check out at night (it was afternoon when we first noticed and wasn't opened yet). And lo and behold, the Courtesy was not only a cool hangout but a magical one with bartenders that creates gorgeous cocktails in dark-lit, gothic-like interior with marble countertops, and good vibes. With cocktails with names such as the King of Kaiju, Violet Beauregarde, and Monkey Shines, the Courtesy allows you to unwind, relax, and enjoy time away from the normal bustle of life. Each of the cocktails has its own character, presentation, and feel in addition to the flavors you imbibe with each sip. The aged cachaca-forward Monkey Shines has a groovy array of coconut and passion fruit tastes with a middle banana that radiates tropical vibes. The King of Kaiju steers with gin, shochu, and singani, with pineapple and lime and matcha for a fine balance of citrus and creaminess, with a vanilla wafer for garnish. While the first two cocktails were amazing presentation and satisfying with the flavors I tasted, the Violet Beauregarde was probably my favorite with its blueberry and vanilla notes that brought me to a place of spiritual purity and strength; strength and spiritual purity. Combined with the spicy rye and amaro notes, this cocktail was magical on a wizardry level. The bartenders we had on both nights we went during our stay in Winter Park were chatty, knowledgeable, very engaging and affable, and definitely had their familiarity with music such as the Death Cab show we watched on the second night. I would come back to Winter Park just to enjoy more cocktails at the Courtesy.

Beatrice T.

Yelp
First time at The Courtesy. Nightmare on Orange Halloween event. Absolutely worth the hype and visit. This place is hard to get into as it's quaint so if a party of 4 make a reservation and if walking in get there early so you can grab a spot, we got there before they opened just at 4pm. Their staff is excellent. Tracey was our mixologist the vibe of the space matches his energy, he was a plethora of information and MIXOLOGY skills were on point! Just great balance in the cocktails, enjoyed every sip. For those who like an Old Fashion he introduced my husband to the Sazerac, which he truly enjoyed along with the Occam's Razor, bourbon base. Cin cin!

Yelp
I was finally able to check out The Courtesy after hearing so many wonderful things about it . I came for HH and arrived a few minutes after they had opened. After grabbing a seat by the bar & looking over the menu . I decided to order the Hurricane drink and Chiang Mai Chicken nuggets. The waiter stated that they were very spicy but offered to make them mild it comes with a pickled papaya which was perfect to offset some of the spiciness because even at mild it had some spice. Those nuggets are delicious. I decided on a second HH drink so I ordered the King Kong. It was almost like a old fashion just a little sweeter. I also ordered the caramelized Brussel sprouts which were also delicious. I talked with the bartender about other things the Courtesy offers . Every Saturday they offer a cocktail making class and they are very popular during Christmas for their decorations. This year they are going to take reservations & have 2 hour reservations to make it more organized. I also signed up for the cocktail class for my husbands upcoming birthday . The place got packed quickly. The ambiance is nice and relaxing and they have Kelly's ice cream and coffee spots attached to the building too. Definitely check this spot out for dinner , date night or even happy hour. The customer service was amazing everyone is so helpful and nice.

Yelp
The Courtesy has aged right along with us -- they knew we needed to escape downtown and be treated with more spacious seating and ample parking. And now we also get snacks? I'm sold. The food menu that had my mouth watering! We split the onion smash burger and it was everything a smash burger should be. We also had the side of curly fries which obviously paired well with the burg. I love the rotating cocktail menu, so I apologize if you're reading this and don't get to try to the Greener Pastures! But all of the signature cocktails are fabulous as well. Always ask about the seasonal milk punch -- we tried it and you could not taste any alcohol -- that will make you forget where you are. The playlist was on point and the drink I ordered in my second round - "Death of a Strawberry" - was actually named after a Dance Gavin Dance song. We love our early Sunday night vibes at The Courtesy -- always a good time.

Yelp
I came here with 3 other people for the first time and we had no trouble getting an advanced reservation. Parking is so easy with a lot behind the building. It's decorated for Halloween in October, so it's spooky and fun inside! We tried a variety of cocktails and each were unique and delicious. Some came in fun cups like a skull or pumpkin. The food is through Swine and Sons, which is always delicious. They had a Halloween themed menu as well. I ordered the slider trio (beetlejuice, beetlehuice, beetlejuice) which was a hot chicken, beef burger, and pulled pork. The hot chicken wasn't very spicy but didn't lack in flavor. The beef was my favorite. The pulled pork was piled high, but not usually my go-to. We want to come back during Christmas for the new theming!

Yelp
I love how cute their pop ups are for holidays. I went to their Halloween pop up Nightmare on Orange!! The place was cute and decked out and their drinks were amazingly presented. But, the only thing I didn't like I guess were the flavors of the drink. I felt Like everything I got was just spicy or spiced out. Also it is quite expensive, we spilt everything in half and we each paid $45.

Yelp
Stopped in to check out the Halloween-themed pop up at The Courtesy and it completely delivered! Dimly lit, widely decorated for spooky season and sure to set the mood for a frightful time. For it being night one, we were warmly greeted with no wait and everything went seamless with great bar staff. We got to try the Daywalker, a vodka/cranberry drink with gummy eyeballs for fun and the Hotel Cassadaga Daquiri, a little sweet and peachy but mighty!

Yelp
I had not been to their new location and we decided to give it a shot and see if we could get in and sure did! The ambiance is nice and it is decor gives it a nice and interesting vibe and look. We ordered the Death on a Strawberry, the Bella Donna and a Campari Spritz. Tasty, pretty and unique. I want to come back for Christmas to see the decor and enjoy a Christmasy libation.. As for our server, he sort of went MIA and only saw him when we got there, when we placed our order and when we paid. It was a nice ambiance and we will be back.

Yelp
Met up with a friend for a drink and we sat at the bar. It was pretty empty around 930pm on a weekday, but then it got busy. Nice ambience. Pretty good selection of drinks that they offer. Very nice bar area and plenty of table seating as well. Pricing for drinks are expected. I did order a whiskey drink and it was strong, which I enjoyed. It was a bit annoying having the bartenders crowded in one area and talking amongst themselves where I was sitting. They do have a parking lot behind the building, which is nice.

Yelp
@thecourtesy is a year-round neighborhood speakeasy which transforms into "Miracle on Orange." During Christmas season you will experience this Christmas Wonderland pop up. I highly recommend trying their seasonal cocktail menu. I went on a Saturday night with a girl friend, joined the reservation waitlist around 4:30, and was seated around the 1 hour timeframe given by the friendly hostess. The place was fully packed with friends and groups celebrating in the holiday spirit together! It was such a magical vibe that combined the childhood nostalgia of holiday decor and presents with an adult safe-space to enjoy Christmas themed cocktails. My favorite was "Rudolphs Replacement" served in the cutest dinosaur christmas hat cup! This was sweet yet spiced and everything nice, plus the coffee liquer mixed in well. I also loved the "Marshmallows & Unicorns" cocktail presented in my favorite unicorn Christmas mug! This is a really smooth cherry-vanilla soda flavored cocktail. If you are a fan of mulled wine, "Elfing Around #2" is the cocktail for you, served in a fancy christmas champagne flute. I am usually a fan of reposado so I started with "The Krampus" which came in the cutest krampus shaped mug. The first sip was a spicy ginger flavor and then the hellfire bitters hits the throat. It's kind of like a spicy cinnamon hard candy with a ginger bite. My girl friend LOVED the "Carol Barrel" in the falala cup which she reordered due to enjoying the spiced chocolate-banana combination of flavors. We also ended with a "Naughty Shot" of tequila with a peppery ginger spice. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed being transported to a winter wonderland for a few hours of adult christmas fun!

Yelp
Christmas decorations were cute, but we were charged the full price of an alcoholic drink for a mocktail, and another in our party was charged for a drink they sent back. Waste of money.

Coolmm ..

Yelp
They have an UBE mocktail and I asked if he could make a cocktail, so he did with gin and it's the best cocktail I ever had Wonderful! Not sweet not bitter You should definitely try
