Google
A friend of mine recommended this place and don’t doubt their selection for eats, so I already had a positive sentiment before going in…nice atmosphere, a lot of nice indoor lighting and outdoor lighting, as well as a diverse social group. The staff were all friendly, nice and attentive. RJ, my server, even snagged an alcohol beverage in the back that wasn’t available at the front but made it available. As far as the food, 5/5. I got the smashed burger with sweet potato fries and I would get it again. Well cooked, so savory, and the potato bun sealed the deal. Nice portions too. Would recommend this place to any burger fan as the price is worth the quality.

Google
Great, small spot with indoor/outdoor seating. Quality burgers with some fun twists available. I had The Cut and was delicious, with plenty of sauce and toppings. Eat fast, the bun will get soggy! They serve draft beer, wine and cocktails. The waitress was friendly, attentive and good and drink arrived fast. Worth checking out for a casual burger and beer for a reasonable price.

I was craving a smashburger and googled this place. I headed over and had a delicious smashburger for $13. Lisa was my server and was exceptional. The atmosphere with the open patio is very relaxing. I will be returning to try the $40 Burger.

Was visiting from out of town and always on the prowl for great burgers during my travels. There are some truly great burger joints in So Cal and The Cut is right up there with the best of them. I always start with the basic burger, and this one did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned well with a burger to bun ratio that was spot on. The bun held up well and I devoured it immediately. The fries were fantastic as well with plenty of garlic and seasoning to satisfy my needs. The atmosphere is positive with plenty of seating and access to the outside world. Staff was a pleasure to chat with and seemed very proud of the business. Will definitely return when in the area.

Google
I went there on a Sunday for father's day my kids took me because I love burgers and this place did not disappoint we started with the shishito peppers which were very good I got the cut burger expensive but very good my wife got the chilaquiles and my kids got the truffle burger and the sweet heat burger all were tasty. The tater tot were delicious crunchy on the outside and the sweet potato fries were on point. The service was good everyone there was friendly and the butter cake was delicious.

4.5🌟 One of our favorite & most frequented places in OC. They are a small team who make everyday special in this restaurant. They have a focused menu and execute every dish very well, and their service is above and beyond: they remember you, and really give you a fine dining level service experience in a more affordable setting. Their restaurant is perfect for singles, couples, families or groups; they have bar top dining, patio tables in addition to their booths/tables inside. We have never waited for a table! Food comes out quick here, so it’s perfect if you need a quick bite before a movie etc. But they are also great about pacing with multiple courses/groups, and happy to have you relax and enjoy your meal for however long you want to stay. Great drinks/taps, amazing brunch and bottomless mimosas on the weekends - can’t go wrong anytime you visit, you just have to visit multiple times to try everything on the menu 😜

This spot is the go to for a nice, slightly expensive, meat heavy meal. The meat is rich and flavourful. Like you know that cow was a happy one while it was around. And now you’re a happy camper with that burger for whichever meal you stopped by for. The Ruben is also solid. They have some really unique burgers with bananas one, which tastes pretty darn good not gonna lie. 10/10 recommend this spot. Also their desserts are lit too.

Google
*5/5 stars - Burger Bliss at The Cut!* Just had an amazing experience at The Cut Handcrafted Burgers! The moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super friendly. The burgers were absolute perfection! Juicy patties, crispy buns, and all the fixings. I loved the variety of toppings and sauces to choose from. *Standout dish:* The Classic Cut Burger - cooked to perfection and full of flavor! *Will I return?* Absolutely! Already planning my next visit. *Highly recommend:* The Cut Handcrafted Burgers to all burger enthusiasts out there!

Yelp
I'm extremely satisfied with both the meal and the customer service! Melanie took care of us and was incredibly thorough, attentive, and super friendly. We tried the Colombian Burger, Sweet & Spicy Burger, and the Truffle Cut Fries- it was soo good! The portion sizes were perfect too. We ended with the Sticky Date Pudding, and honestly, I'd return just for that alone- it was heavenly! I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Finishing up softball this was the lucky spot to last minute accommodate a party of 20+. They kindly arranged us comfortable. It not too big with some outside seating available. Be warned if you sit outside you may or may not get blessed with bird droppings. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was good everyone seemed to enjoy it including kids. The onion rings were highly favored by most the adults so were the poutine fries. I did order the "painkiller" drink. Great presentation but not good. The drinks service struggled a bit. At one moment after laughing and talking we stopped and looked around like "oh shoot" drinks haven't came. Restrooms available and located in shopping center with parking everywhere.

Yelp
Amazing gourmet burger place with good beer selections and tasty apps. Got the blue cut burger. Patty was cooked perfectly and packed with juicy flavor. If you like blue cheese then this is a must. Only thing is, if you don't eat it quickly it becomes mushy due to the juices and brioche bun however the flavor is worth it! The kids Mac n cheese was actually phenomenal and cheesy. I'm tempted to try the adult version next time as I was pretty impressed with the flavor as was my kid. The burgers here come a la cart so we ordered some poutine fries. I ordered the brisket on the side so I could add as I liked as sometimes the meat is over powering it this brisket was fine and would be ok to leave on next time. Inside is nice with lots of seating, our server was so pleasant and attentive. It was a chill vibe and what you would expect for gourmet burger place. I'm sure all the burgers are packed with flavor and can't wait to try something new next time.

Yelp
Delicious burgers, fries, and condiments! This burger joint first started as a food truck, and just 3 years later, opened up this first location in Irvine. They've gotten nominations, won an OC Register award, and now over 10 years later, are still rock'n it! Also serving beer, wine, Poutine, coconut shrimp, wings, bone marrow toast, and a new weekend brunch menu. They even have a grilled hanger steak, which I can't wait to try! Lots of sides too from regular fries, sweet potato fries, a petite salad, tots, and truffle Mac & Cheese. Today I needed another Savory Burger! That is actually what it's called, and it's sooooo fitting! This one comes with Swiss Cheese, 3,000 Island sauce, and bacon relish, which is the best condiment I've ever had! If you haven't tried it, you gotta! You can order online, but you can't make any changes, so we called our order in since my co-workers and I are a little particular. They open at 11am during the week, and 10am on the weekends. Looking forward to checking out that brunch plate Tres Leches French Toast! My mouth is watering already!

Yelp
Dinner with my buddy and we ordered the double smash and the OG burger. My buddy is a big guy and was going to order the "petite" salad and I wasn't going to let him embarrass himself so we split the beet salad. Great decision on all fronts. The burgers were very flavorful. I like the soft bun and my meat was cooked perfectly. The beet salad was delicious and compliments our burgers. Good service. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile and finally made it out. The restaurant has a very contemporary, open and airy environment. I saw a lot of people get take out and sit in the outdoor area. Nice for small groups that have varying taste because one could order Chinese take out, one could get Korean and one can get burgers here! I ordered the Southern bird sandwich to-go with a side of onion rings so the picture is not the most flattering but it's because it was take out. However, the sandwich was excellent! There was a huge piece of fried chicken that was fried really well - crispy and juicy. The slaw and sauce was a good complement to the chicken. The onion rings were super tasty as well. Whole pieces of onion with the right amount of batter fried to a golden color and perfect crunch. Parking is plentiful in the strip mall. Staff was very friendly and the owner was chatting with the customers as well. They have happy hour specials during the week so I will be sure to come back!

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Overall good. Ordered to order to go Thursday evening. Restaurant was almost half full. Didn't wait too long until order was ready. Service was very friendly and nice. Restaurant was modernized and nicely furnished. Vibe is great for a group craving for burgers. The -star is for the disappointment upon opening the box of my Double Smash and sweet potatoes. It looked... not as appealing lol see picture for details.

Yelp
We came here for dinner tonight. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at around 6:00'ish. My husband ordered the Savory burger with a side of tots. He ordered his burger medium but it came more rare than medium. I would never eat a burger that is that rare, but he said it's okay, he didn't mind. He actually liked the burger, so that was good. I wanted to go there because I saw fried chicken and waffle on the menu. Unfortunately, we found out that's only served for brunch only. So I ordered the southern fried chicken on lettuce wrap instead of potato bread. The chicken was good and not too dry but the batter was so hard (no, not crispy, hard!) I ended up cutting and trimming the batter from my fried chicken and ate the inside meat only. We had Lisa as our server and she was good and attentive.

Yelp
This place is one of my all-time favorites out of Los Angeles/Irvine area. I come all the way from San Diego and every time I pass by on the 405 or the five I think about the cut. Not only is it the best handcrafted chicken sandwich I've ever had. They also have the best down to earth employees that make you feel absolutely at home Frank and Mel only added to the beautiful experience of eating at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely amazing and the fries were great too. If you're in the area, this is an absolute must go. You can't come to California without going to The Cut. It's worth the travel.

Yelp
I've had this restaurant on my list for a while and finally decided to try it after craving a burger. I came here late Friday night and was seated immediately. At first I thought this was a fast food type of restaurant, but it's actually full service with a bar. The interior was a nice vibe and very clean. My partner and I ordered poutine, tater tots, and the truffle and brie burger to share. The staff were very kind and even cut our burger in half for us. Everything was delicious. We the burger medium rare and it was juicy. I will say that the truffle taste was very subtle, though. It was a pretty heavy burger so I'm glad that my partner and I shared one. The poutine was good and definitely could be a meal on its own. The tater tots were just tater tots, but no complaints because that's what I wanted. They were crispy and not soggy/soft. Overall, I came here looking for a good burger and I got a good burger. Would definitely come back again and try more of their menu.

Yelp
I love the cut, this is my favorite restaurant c: Truffle, Nashville chicken and sweet and sour burgers with seasoned fries

Yelp
From friendly service, to delicious food, to a lunch special happy hour thing, The Cut definitely made the cut. I hadn't had a burger in a while, and was ready to start my Fourth of July off with some delicious burgers from here, which was right down the street from my apartment! I split the savory burger, smashburger, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Ask for a side of honey to go with your hot chicken sandwich if you're someone like me, who likes sweet, savory, and spicy, because it was soooooo good! We also got a side of their onion rings, which was crispy, and no, the onion itself did not pull all the way out when we bit into it. If I could go back, I'd probably ask for two sides of the onion rings. The burgers itself were all so good, and my personal fav of the two had to be the savory burger. The bacon bits inside of it just went so well with the rest of the burger. If you come during midday, I believe there's a discount on the burgers! It looks like they also have other happy hour specials, a bar, and offers weekend brunch. The seating is very open and airy. We sat towards the outside patio area, which had the perfect sunlight and breeze.

Yelp
Yummm! The burger was delicious. I ordered the Classy, medium. It came with grilled onions and cheese. I only wish I would've asked for pickles to add a must needed cool crunch. My wife ordered the Nashvilles sandwich and it was perfect. The seasoning was on point just a little heavy on the cayenne so if you like spicy food it's perfect for you. She order the Purple Drank, which comes with glitter. I found it refreshing. I had ordered from their rotating tab. A stout, which was way too strong for day time, 16.5% alcohol. Today was sunny so being able to eat indoors with the AC blasting was perfection. Ohh note the petite salad was an additional surcharge and it had fresh ingredients. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would probably visit again.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time visiting the cut. I went with a few friends on a Saturday night. There was no wait to sit. My table and I were immediately given menus. We ordered a few burgers and they were fairly unique. Ultimately, we got the Cut. True to the fine print on the menu, they were unable to accommodate any changes or modifications to our burger. While it wasn't my favorite burger of the night, it's definitely worth trying. Restroom is clean. There is plenty of parking outside. The staff is very nice.

JenH B.

Yelp
I cannot believe how fantastic this place is! The food is sooooooo good. The prices are exceptional for what you get...quality. Nick was our server...what a professional. So warm, engaging, on top of it, and just made the visit amazing. Thanks Nick!

Yelp
I love randomly finding a cute little spot like this. The food was DElicious! I had the Nashville hot with the small salad. Chefs kiss, my fiance had the classic burger and yum. Also our server was super cool. He helped recommend drinks and they were great.
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
First time here and I got the OG burger because I wanted to experience a classic burger! It was very good - juicy patty with soft brioche bun and all the fixings. The restaurant has a spacious modern look as well - you can choose between bar seating, both, and tables. I'd come back!

Yelp
The Cut is consistently our favorite gourmet burger spot! My favorite burger is the Savory, because the Savory is the perfect blend of savory, meaty goodness with a hint of sweet and umami thanks to the tasty and high quality ingredients! Absolutely obsessed with this Cut burger, and each time I get the Savory, it's always incredibly satisfying and delicious. The upside is that the Cut's Savory burger always delivers, but the downside is that it's hard for me to deviate from ordering the Savory because it's just too darn good! The solution is to go with someone else and split / share your meal by ordering something different. This time, in addition to our trusty Savory burger, we also tried the Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich. Very tasty and decadent thanks to the addition of cheese, but I have to say I still love the Savory burger more! It's a bit tricky to do a steak sandwich because biting into the sandwich may be hard to align with where the slices of steak begin and end, so there are steak bits that always end up falling out, haha. Still delicious thoughn Service at the Cut is friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the ambiance is casual and family friendly too. Thank you so much for always being a great weekend brunch spot and for the care y'all put into every dish! I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Yelp
First time here today, and the service was nice! We got there in time for their happy hour menu which allows you to take $3 off their burgers (excluding double smash and a $40 option). I got the OG which ended up coming out to $11 + $6 to add onion rings. I loved the bun on the burger. He said they get their bread baked fresh daily from OC Baking Co., and I could taste the quality of that bun; it was really good. I could also taste the quality in the meat. It wasn't too salty or greasy which is great. The toppings were fine. Maybe next time, I'll ask if they can add more veggies in there, but that meal kept me full for a long time! My boy got the same thing, and he loved it. He ate it so fast and said it was really good. The onion rings were crunchy and yummy, definitely worth the six dollar add-on. My boy got the fries, and those were tasty too. There's a cute patio area and seating inside. There's a little bar area and restrooms in the way back. I regret taking so long to give this place a try, but I highly recommend it to burger connoisseurs because it's a treat compared to fast food joints. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I follow The Cut on social media and the owner's creativity and humor are certainly a big factor of why The Cut is one of my go-to restaurants. I got the Original Burger to-go and it was truly one of the most delicious burgers I have ever eaten, not to mention that I felt healthy and clean after eating it (I'm prone to feeling sick after eating burgers that aren't healthy). I'm going to include The Cut in my Door Dash lunch rotation when I start my new job next month. The best culinary inventions in the burger space!
google avatar

Yelp
The Cut is serving up some of the most gourmet burgers in Irvine and beyond! This spot is located in the same plaza as Hmart and Sprouts and there is a good amount of parking spots. Reservations are recommended but you can also take your chances with walking in as well. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and there was about a 10 minute wait. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with about 7-8 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. We opted to try the Truffle and Brie Burger, The Cut Burger, Poutine, and a Lavender Lemonade. Everything that we had was delicious and we could definitely taste the quality of the elevated flavors. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time dining here. All of the staff are very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here but I would highly recommend trying one of their burgers. There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

Yelp
My friend invited me here as part of a Yelp event. When we arrived, my friend told the server about the event and he had us wait to the side while he seated a couple behind us who had just arrived. Not sure why they got priority seating. He then asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar or order take out. We wanted to dine in. Don't know why that was not an option. I ordered a chopped wedge salad with grilled chicken. I wish I ordered burger instead because the salad unfortunately was mediocre and the grilled chicken was a little sad. Maybe if they used romaine lettuce instead of iceberg, it would have been better. Or maybe if the salad was in a bowl instead of a plate, it would have looked more presentable. In any case, I was a little disappointed. And to make matters worse, the salad with grilled chicken was way more expensive than a burger and fries . The salad was $26 and my friend got the Savory burger which was $18. We came around lunch time and they seemed to be short staffed. No one came to ask us how our meal was or refill our drinks. I may come back again the future and get a burger instead.

Yelp
We got in to try the cut as soon as they opened this morning, but as we left, the traffic was flowing in we had a great experience. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The customer service was excellent and the food was great. The coffee was delicious no milk no sugar for me the all natural notes of hazelnut were perfect The French toast had a nice flavor really liked the hint of basil a must try Bacon eggs and potatoes Were a good choice the potatoes hit different nice and soft but still crispy Thank you for the hospitality see you soon..

Yelp
Excellent service. Unique selection of beers. Excellent food. Elevated burgers and food.

Yelp
Wolfgang Please, decades of getting it right and the reason the kitchen is apart of the dining room.

Yelp
Honestly, not a big burger person so I didn't have high expectations for The Cut but my husband was craving a burger so we decided to stop by for dinner. We got the wedge salad to share and I got the OG and my husband got the double smash burger. The wedge salad was light and refreshing, the perfect amount of dressing without overwhelming and my husband really liked the cherry tomatoes, everything tasted very fresh. My OG was delicious but unfortunately fell apart after a few bites (the grilled onions, while delicious, really weighed this thing down). We also shared a side of tater tots, so crispy! The smash burger definitely hit the spot for this burger craving too. The fast and friendly service was the cherry on top. Next time I'll try to save room for dessert. Great spot for a date night!
google avatar

Sal C.

Yelp
The burger was very savory , the grilled onions were the cherry on the top. Very soft burger buns. The tots were good with just the right amount of cheese. The service was good and the restaurant was clean.
google avatar

Maritza S.

Yelp
I was craving a Smashburger and The Cut delivered. They offer Double Smashburger with a double patty, pickles, onions, and cheese during happy hour. FYI Fries are not included and you can get them on the side for eight dollars. The burger was delicious, however the fries are not worth $8. The onion rings were also eight dollars and those were pretty good. I ordered the Hard Arnold Palmer which was made with Vodka, House-made Orange Liqueur, Black Tea, Fresh Squeezed Lemon. It was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and very attentive. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite burger place and what I'd consider one of Irvine's gems. I've gotten takeout here a few times but finally decided to dine in with some friends for weekend brunch for a birthday celebration. The restaurant wasn't too busy and they had some nice outdoor seating options. As we got seated the server told us the menu has changed a bit and to my disappointment my favorite item, the Colombian burger, was cut from the menu. I was super bummed about it but the amazing server said she would talk to the chefs in the kitchen and see if they could make something similar. She came back and said that they had just enough items to recreate the burger one last time for me!! It absolutely made my day. Super thankful to the staff who were so accommodating and went above and beyond. I've never had such great service like that at any restaurant. Despite my favorite burger no longer being there, I'll continue to stop by and try the other ones and get my favorites like the tater tot poutine and try other burgers.
google avatar

Gary H.

Yelp
Ok. So the meal order didn't start out great. They have a $40 burger but I wanted it with lettuce wrap and they said no. (I can't eat the bread) The kitchen doesn't allow it. What? What is the difference between putting the burger in a bun or bed of lettuce? That alone was irritating and made no sense, but the waitress was pleasant about it. Okay now for the food. We ordered shishito peppers, wings and calamari. All were excellently prepared and delicious. I got the burger that had cheese and pork butt and my daughter OG. Both were apple sized patties and very messy (which we loved). Delicious!! I wanted to try their wedge and it was also very good but not traditional wedge. They cut it up into a very large salad. Over this place I recommend even with their weird pushback on the whole bun thing. We will be back.
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
Okay I was wowed by this place. The craft burgers were Excellent! The flavor was good, not greasy or soggy. The toppings tasted homemade especially the BbQ sauce. The onion rings were crispy and crunchy, not crispy then soft. The service is good and the location ambience was perfect for the location. This is a great place for a craft burger. But be warned! The price is not cheap for a GREAT BURGER. For two burgers, one order of onion rings and two non-alcoholic drinks was @$60. I must say it was well worth it if you have the cash to splurge and want a taste experience like no other.
google avatar

Yvonne C.

Yelp
I ordered sweet and spicy burger which didn't really taste that spicy imo. There's bacon inside which I personally would've enjoyed more if there wasn't bacon. It was an expensive burger though. Was craving tator tots and when it arrived, it was cold and cold tator tots or any cold fries wouldn't taste as good as fresh ones. Will give this place a try again in person next time!
google avatar

Yelp
The Cut is one of our favorite spots to visit. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The ambiance is great, love the music. We went in on Saturday afternoon before the dinner rush. We were sat immediately and greeted by a friendly server. We ordered the Southern Bird Sandwich, Savory Burger, and double order of sweet potato fries (yes, they're that good!). I can't recall what the dipping sauces were but they never disappoint. We were regularly checked in on by another team member and their owner too, I believe. Everyone is really friendly here. We'll definitely be coming back again soon. Cannot recommend this place enough!
google avatar

Yelp
Came in for sunday lunch, we started with drinks, the "Purple Drank" and a beer flight. Both were good, and the drink selection was decent. However they don't have a full bar, only beer, wine, sake, and soju. As for the burgers, they were just okay--a little plain and lacking toppings. Most of them didn't come with basics like lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles, which felt a bit odd. Also, sides weren't included, not even fries, which made the meal feel a little overpriced for what we got. Our server knew the menu through and through, very helpful. The ambiance was good, small chill place, bar is available to sit as well. One highlight was the house sauces, they had a great variety, and they definitely helped add some flavor. Overall, not a bad spot, but for the price, I was expecting a little more.

Yelp
got poutine and truffle burger, poutine is average and bit salty, truffle burger is super! love it and highly recommend !

Yelp
There's been mixed reviews about this place.. I'm not sure how much clearing up this updated review will do but I'll definitely be back after this last visit. Perhaps the secret is coming at the right time? When the servers are chill and strive for taste! At least our server was very helpful, informative and recommended exactly what I wanted given one rule, must be vegetarian. Got the sweet and sour burger with no bacon but avocado, impossible patty and an extra egg. $30 for a vegetarian brioche'd bun burger with runny yolk fried egg. Open faced, begging to be eaten and fries packed with a proper crunch, crisp and just the right amount of grease. The OG with impossible patty was also delicious! Quoting that of a wise eater, this is the burger in-n-out wish they made. The ratio was on point for all the cheese lovers out there. Fried burrata- for those who don't eat calamari, perfect appetizer teaser with a surprising bell-pepper sauce. It's like eating a fancier version of deconstructed mozzarella sticks. The burrata consistency and texture makes me have faith in this cheese again. Lots of yummy brews on tap and a very smooth cup of coffee. Thanks guys! Keep it up! Lots of happy hour options.

Yelp
Get the Savory... scratch that. Just get one of each burger, no need to add a side dish. Wished there was a shop in Huntington Beach (maybe they'll think about opening a shop) hmmmmm

Yelp
My boyfriend wanted to take me out for dinner after we were both off work and decided on The Cut. Both of us never been there but he saw it on Yelp and thought it looked good. There were people sprinkled around the restaurant and we decided to sit at one of the booths. There were pillows along the booths which made the experience more cozy. For drinks we decided to get a Diet Pepsi and water which was good. For food I got a spicy chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got a burger. Both were amazing and we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
The burgers are scrumptious! We went in for lunch and were STARVING! I was craving a burger and fries and it was absolutely perfect. The kids had a pretty great menu to choose from- plus the kids meals even had a scoop of ice cream for dessert! They were so happy! Our server was fantastic and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The restaurant was clean and trendy! Parking was easy peasy! Overall, it was a fantastic lunch. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Yelp
Yummy sandwiches and burgers served at The Cut! I got the PEC which is pastrami, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. sweet potato fries are the way to go! so good with the sauce. the service was super quick and friendly. the servers were attentive since my group had some bottomless mimosa drinkers ($20 per person). the interior looked clean and inviting. there are restrooms down the hall. even outdoor seating is nice since there's plenty of shade. it's a little bit pricey but still delicious.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. I was quickly seated. Bone marrow was great but as an appetizer should have come out first. The recommendation of the union rings as a side was great to the OG Burger. The OG Burger was supposed to come out medium rare but came out rare. The patty wasn't will seasoned so the result was a burger that came across as a patty melt. The cheddar cheese overtook the taste. The Burger bacame too rich to finish at about 1/2 way through it. I bun also wasn't well protected so the Burger quickly became a mess. I would have also recommended providing a steak knife instead of a regular knife to preserve the burger's structure.

Yelp
This place was outstanding! The server was ultra patient with us as my friends and I got caught up after not seeing each other for a long time. When we did get around to ordering or server was very helpful and made some great recommendations. I decided in the Cut Burger, with a $40 price tag, I figured I could go wrong, it was amazing. To keep my bill reasonable I chose some Pabts Blue Ribbon to quench my thirst. I loved how they tried to get fancy with it by asking me if I wanted another PBR? Everyone in my party had a great evening and everyone loved their food. $40 burgers are not an everyday thing but I'm definitely coming back to try some of the (lesser priced) burgers.

Yelp
It's mediocre at best. Maybe it was an off day but everything fried was overdone. Winner winner chicken dinner was sent back. After a 25 minute wait, the chicken was burnt. It looked burnt but we gave it a chance, hoping it tasted better than it looked. No bueno. The fried burrata although was really good! We also ordered the Cut burger. Not worth $40 IMO. It's fine but WAY overpriced. Not worth 4 Shake Shack burgers, 10 In-N-Out burgers or even anything at a decent fast casual. I won't call it a ripoff but c'mon.

Yelp
I've never really been one to love burgers, but this just may have changed my opinion. I went here after seeing all the wonderful reviews and it exceeded my expectations. We got the savory burger and the grand cut burger as well as the coconut shrimp and fries. The savory burger was the perfect amount of saltiness from the bacon and it was paired with the sweet jam sauce that tied everything together this burger was a 8.5 out of 10 my only gripe with this was it was a little on the salty side for me personally. The grand cut burger was the star of the show it was sweet, savory, and tangy. Every bite was truly delicious this was hands down the best burger I've tried granted I don't eat a lot of burgers, but everyone should at least try this once. The coconut shrimp was also really yummy and the fries were nothing really to write home about maybe it's because we got take out, but they were slightly hard and lacked in taste. The burgers and the shrimp more than made up for them though. Would highly highly recommend

Yelp
So today was round 2 and The Cut killed it again, Nick G and Steve were in the house (see my previous post) and the food and service were all amazing, I had the Savory Burger and my wife had the Classy with a salad. The Boat Shoes beer(s) went down nicely and the Paso Robles wine was top notch do not pass on this place you will not be disappointed. We sat outside on the patio which was the icing on the cake!

Yelp
It's been a while since we've been back to The Cut. My husband really enjoys the burgers there and he has yet to get the popular $40 burger. We arrived today at around 12:45 for lunch. I decided to do something different and opted for the tres leches French toast. It was really good! Would definitely recommend it. My daughters shared the Cut-inental breakfast. Which consisted of bacon and eggs and a side. That was gobbled up. We also ordered the original for our daughter. And it was ordered well done. Just like previous times, they can't seem to get that order right. The patty is never well. In fact it was pink. So what they did was eat everything but the patty. My husband had the savory. And that was done to his liking. Pricing seems to have jumped up about $6-8 dollars per dish. But that's also because they each come with a side.

Yelp
This spot makes the cut! The burgers are thick, tender, super juicy, well seasoned, and delicious. The cheese is generous and actually has great flavor. The brioche bun was fluffy. The fries were natural hand cut style, and fried to perfection. The rosemary garlic was good, but next time I will get the regular fries. The tots were great, it's what you would expect, crispy and tender on the inside. Poutine is awesome, but if you are not a cilantro fan, opt for the sauce on the side. Fido is welcome to dine in at the outdoor patio, they serve a plain patty for dogs. The service was top notch, everyone was polite, professional, and super friendly(genuinely so).

Yelp
I'm torn about my rating. Is $20 starting price for a basic burger not considered too expensive? I know that they make their own patties using Chuck, short rib, beef rib and ribeye. As those are quality meats to use for their burger patties, I still feel their price point for a burger is pricey in my book. I ordered the Colombian burger and it was a 6/10 to me. The meat was bland to me. I added mayonnaise to each bite to add flavor. I had the chimichurri on the side as to not affect the taste of the beef. My order did come with a side and I chose garlic fries which there was an extra charge. The other burger we tried was the sweet and spicy which came with bacon that I could not taste. I really wanted to try The Cut, but I was afraid to take a $40 risk.
