Google
The restaurant has a modern rustic sleek interior design. Plenty of seating for small groups. My server Nick was friendly and fast with service. I ordered the double smash burger, the burger was juicy and crisp. Grilled onions were flavorful.

This little hideaway feels like an exclusive hamburger club that only you and about 2 dozen stranger-friends know about. The atmosphere is fun, but not overly loud or energetic. I imagine brunches get a bit more exciting, but for our date night after traveling and helping set up our son’s team for Woodbridge, we appreciated the less intense vibes. The experience started with a wonderful manager who was hands on and assisting the team, but turned to us when we walked in. I didn’t catch their name, but they were kind and cordial and helped us quickly even though the restaurant was slammed. After being seated, our server greeted us, and let me just say, he was an absolute pleasure and joy to have take care of us. Being a two top, walking in towards the end of the night, obvious newbies to the menu, Nick was nothing but fun, gracious, informative, expedient, and curated a meal from start to finish for us that absolutely melded from first sip to last bite. Nick also was so proud of the quality of the burgers and ingredients - having worked in hospitality ourselves, his beaming explanations of different drinks and meals was something you would expect from a mixologist or a chef, not your typical front of house staff. He is truly one of the best servers we’ve had. Not to be outdone, the food and drinks themselves would have been enough to give five stars to this establishment. We had the smash burger and “the cut”. My wife has Celiac and Nick made sure every part of the meal for her was appropriate for being gluten free. And man do these burgers hit! The cut is a 40 dollar burger which sounds crazy, until you bite into it. It’s like a perfectly cooked ribeye on one of the best buns you’ve ever had. And the fries and onion rings? Just get them. They were incredible and I can’t wait to try them in the beef tallow! The drinks were way beyond expectations, and again Nick provided perfect direction for us. It is so much more than just a burger joint, and I am hesitant to share this gem, but if you are in the area and craving some amazing food and drinks, definitely stop by.

Google
A friend of mine recommended this place and don’t doubt their selection for eats, so I already had a positive sentiment before going in…nice atmosphere, a lot of nice indoor lighting and outdoor lighting, as well as a diverse social group. The staff were all friendly, nice and attentive. RJ, my server, even snagged an alcohol beverage in the back that wasn’t available at the front but made it available. As far as the food, 5/5. I got the smashed burger with sweet potato fries and I would get it again. Well cooked, so savory, and the potato bun sealed the deal. Nice portions too. Would recommend this place to any burger fan as the price is worth the quality.

Google
The order: Blue Cut The OG Kids regular cheese burger All the burgers were sold separately. Side not included in the prices, except the kids meal. The burgers (all 3) were not seasoned and burgers were dry. The topping had all the flavor. All you taste is the topping on the burger. I ordered onion rings. There very crispy, flavorful, and hot. The fries, some were hard some were not. They mixed new fries with old fries. Dring were good I had an Arnold palmer, fire! Then I was told they dont do refills. So I just go the regular ice tea. The service was decent and the atmosphere was quiet and calming. They had soft pillows on the benches. This dinning experience was worth it but I don't see myself going back.

Google
The Cut. There’s not much to say… the quality here is really high — and yes, you pay for it. Beer and meat, not just the cuts but also the selection. A truly top-level spot for anyone looking for a signature burger.

Daryl S.

Google
I was craving a smashburger and googled this place. I headed over and had a delicious smashburger for $13. Lisa was my server and was exceptional. The atmosphere with the open patio is very relaxing. I will be returning to try the $40 Burger.

Google
The burgers here are absolutely amazing We tried this place based on a recommendation from my brother who lives in the area. It was perfect and, even with our party of 8, our waitress did a fantastic job taking care of us. Each burger was cooked to order as a steak would be. I got mine medium and it was perfectly cooked.

Liz N.

Google
Everything was so tasty. Our server, Lisa, was very sweet and attentive.

Yelp
Hadn't been in a couple of years but oh man if anything the burgers are even better than before. We got 3 different kinds and the poutine and crispy calamari as sides. Everything was 10/10. The calamari was the best I've probably had. Favorite burger is the truffle and brie, and the savory is what they are known for. Service is top notch always. Ambiance was great. Please get the truffle burger. Might get the aged ribeye burger next time I go. Price is very reasonable for the quality and vibes. They also have daily happy hour with some shareable items half off, I think 2-6pm. Definitely need to come here more often and recommend to anyone who is looking for gourmet burgers. Best burger in OC, period!

Yelp
My friends and I love The Cut!! We've been a couple times for their bottomless mimosa brunch and it's an absolute steal. The service is awesome and very attentive. The atmosphere is casual but refined. We always have a great time here. They recently did a $5 burger deal to promote their rewards program and it was so worth it. Their burgers are such high quality and are crafted with care. Each burger has a unique flavor profile and there's something different to try each time. I'm not sure if their happy hour deals are newer but we noticed the sign during our last visit and will absolutely be back for that.

Yelp
Best burger in Irvine! Grass fed beef, tasty and healthy, not to mention large and fulfilling. When craving a great burger in south Irvine, this is my go to

Yelp
Went to The Cut yesterday around 5:30 with a reservation. The restaurant isn't very big so I would recommend a reservation just in case! Lisa is great! Very attentive and made great recommendations. Everything we had was great and we'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for a burger and a beer! They even have nice weekend specials and a happy hour too! Business owner is receptive to feedback from guests. For instance, they did a smash burger for a special happy hour and so many guests were loving it that they added it to the menu. Now it's my favorite burger! Staff is always extremely nice and attentive as well!
google avatar

Alexandra I.

Yelp
Delicious food! The atmosphere is really nice cozy and welcoming Tried the burgers and the sticky date pudding with ice cream both were absolutely amazing!
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
I came here with my son to grab a burger. I had the savory burger. It was pretty good, but I think I should have just got a double cheeseburger for less cost and more meat. I really couldn't appreciate the sauce, cheese and extra umami goodies fwiw. He had the cheeseburger kids meal and I was surprised it was a huge cheeseburger.
google avatar

Elsie Y.

Yelp
I've been here probably 4 times now? And it never disappoints so I was super excited to hear they were doing a $5 burger promo. My friends and I stopped by and it was pretty packed but we were still got our food quickly. Service was great - everyone was super nice and friendly. We all got the grand cut burger after hearing about the bacon jam being cooked for hours and it did not disappoint. My friends and I have stopped by for bottomless mimosas before and also left very satisfied. We saw that they have a great happy hour deal and definitely plan on stopping by for that.

Yelp
My girlfriend's meetup group had lunch at the Cut in Irvine. We had a last minute cancelation so there was a total of 6 of us. She made reservations and our server, Lisa, was terrific about getting us seated and set up. We all ordered our meals and sampled the menu. I had totine, a take on poutine with tater tots in place of the fries. It was topped with an egg. I really enjoyed it and ate every last bite. My girlfriend opted for the grand cut burger. She chose onion rings for her side. She ate half of the large burger and most of the onion rings, sharing some with the other members in exchange for a few of their sides to taste. Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance inside the restaurant. Prices were in line with a gourmet fast casual burger joint. We'll probably return.
google avatar

Marc M.

Yelp
Decent lunchtime burger. Definitely better in the area, but not bad for time and location. Aesthetic & Ambiance: 7/10 nothing too special, but it was clean and modern. Ambiance was mostly lunch time workers and Togo orders, not very busy. Service: 8.5/10 server was quick and provided recommendations. Savory: 6.5/10 was a bit over-well done which took back the flavor a bit, but the bacon jam had a nice sweetness and texture along with the 3000 island sauce helped balance the bun. Fries: 7/10 Nothing crazy, doesn't really have salt or seasoning.

Yelp
Already gave The Cut an amazing review a few years ago but this place doesn't miss. Truly one of the few consistent 5/5 experiences in my opinion. Staff is friendly and attentive, the food is ridiculously good, and the restaurant is always clean and organized. Brought my niece from out of town and she absolutely loved it. Will always be one of my top spots.
google avatar

Yelp
We chose The Cut from a recommendation we found on Tick Tock. We arrived just in time for Friday happy hour. Grassfed burgers for $7, adding the extras for a $8.00 burger is unbelievable. 10 out of 10 for sure. We ordered all the shareable since they were all half off. Buffalo wings, Calamari, Poutine, Mozzarella, Onion Rings, Fries, and a chicken tenders with totts kids meal. We received the BEST service from Roman and all the team. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Brian N.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour on Friday, and I have to say I really enjoyed my time. The happy hour menu had some great deals, especially the calamari and wings. I'm always a fan of paying a little more during happy hour for higher-quality food, and both dishes were well worth the price. The move here is definitely to order a few appetizers during happy hour and then grab one of their signature burgers. My goto spot when I want a quality restaurant level burger!! Our server was excellent, always checking in to see if we wanted more food or another round of drinks. Kudos to him!

Yelp
Finishing up softball this was the lucky spot to last minute accommodate a party of 20+. They kindly arranged us comfortable. It not too big with some outside seating available. Be warned if you sit outside you may or may not get blessed with bird droppings. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was good everyone seemed to enjoy it including kids. The onion rings were highly favored by most the adults so were the poutine fries. I did order the "painkiller" drink. Great presentation but not good. The drinks service struggled a bit. At one moment after laughing and talking we stopped and looked around like "oh shoot" drinks haven't came. Restrooms available and located in shopping center with parking everywhere.

Yelp
Amazing gourmet burger place with good beer selections and tasty apps. Got the blue cut burger. Patty was cooked perfectly and packed with juicy flavor. If you like blue cheese then this is a must. Only thing is, if you don't eat it quickly it becomes mushy due to the juices and brioche bun however the flavor is worth it! The kids Mac n cheese was actually phenomenal and cheesy. I'm tempted to try the adult version next time as I was pretty impressed with the flavor as was my kid. The burgers here come a la cart so we ordered some poutine fries. I ordered the brisket on the side so I could add as I liked as sometimes the meat is over powering it this brisket was fine and would be ok to leave on next time. Inside is nice with lots of seating, our server was so pleasant and attentive. It was a chill vibe and what you would expect for gourmet burger place. I'm sure all the burgers are packed with flavor and can't wait to try something new next time.

Yelp
This place knows how to create tasty meals. Started with the beet salad, lots of fresh herbs and beets. Also had the fried mozzarella and it was a huge portion for the price. Lots of flavor. The fried basil was a nice touch. The Cut burger was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Classy burger was a hit. Balsamic glaze and caramelized onions were yum. Ended with the date sticky pudding - out of this world flavor and warm butter cake. A great meal and would highly recommend. Server was so friendly and restaurant was clean and neat. Will come back.

Yelp
This handcrafted burger spot is top notch! The buns were perfectly toasted with that slight crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, and the patty was incredibly juicy--flavorful with every bite. I loved how the juices just came through without making the burger soggy. The aioli sauce tied everything together beautifully, adding just the right touch of creaminess and flavor. You can tell they put real care into the details here. Easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time--highly recommend!

Yelp
Surprisingly, their to-go food is better than dining in. Seating along the wall feels like a seesaw -- when someone sits beside you, your drink might spill. Service was friendly but careless. They asked if the food was good before I even took a bite and ignored me. When I pointed out that the chicken was chewy and nearly broke my tooth with its hardened crumbs, they just said, "We'll let the kitchen know," then charged me full price and ignored the half-eaten plate right in front of them. The waitress chatting over my shoulder with another table was rude and uncomfortable. The Nashville chicken was the worst I've had here: burned crumbs like rocks, overcooked meat, and barely any sauce. The spicy aioli was almost nonexistent. The beet salad made my partner run to the restroom with nasty pickled apple and mushy beets. I won't be coming back to a place that charges full price for food that could damage your teeth and ignores complaints. Maybe that's why the restaurant was half-empty during dinner hours.
google avatar

Leeza D.

Yelp
Dinner with my buddy and we ordered the double smash and the OG burger. My buddy is a big guy and was going to order the "petite" salad and I wasn't going to let him embarrass himself so we split the beet salad. Great decision on all fronts. The burgers were very flavorful. I like the soft bun and my meat was cooked perfectly. The beet salad was delicious and compliments our burgers. Good service. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile and finally made it out. The restaurant has a very contemporary, open and airy environment. I saw a lot of people get take out and sit in the outdoor area. Nice for small groups that have varying taste because one could order Chinese take out, one could get Korean and one can get burgers here! I ordered the Southern bird sandwich to-go with a side of onion rings so the picture is not the most flattering but it's because it was take out. However, the sandwich was excellent! There was a huge piece of fried chicken that was fried really well - crispy and juicy. The slaw and sauce was a good complement to the chicken. The onion rings were super tasty as well. Whole pieces of onion with the right amount of batter fried to a golden color and perfect crunch. Parking is plentiful in the strip mall. Staff was very friendly and the owner was chatting with the customers as well. They have happy hour specials during the week so I will be sure to come back!

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Overall good. Ordered to order to go Thursday evening. Restaurant was almost half full. Didn't wait too long until order was ready. Service was very friendly and nice. Restaurant was modernized and nicely furnished. Vibe is great for a group craving for burgers. The -star is for the disappointment upon opening the box of my Double Smash and sweet potatoes. It looked... not as appealing lol see picture for details.

Yelp
We came here for dinner tonight. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at around 6:00'ish. My husband ordered the Savory burger with a side of tots. He ordered his burger medium but it came more rare than medium. I would never eat a burger that is that rare, but he said it's okay, he didn't mind. He actually liked the burger, so that was good. I wanted to go there because I saw fried chicken and waffle on the menu. Unfortunately, we found out that's only served for brunch only. So I ordered the southern fried chicken on lettuce wrap instead of potato bread. The chicken was good and not too dry but the batter was so hard (no, not crispy, hard!) I ended up cutting and trimming the batter from my fried chicken and ate the inside meat only. We had Lisa as our server and she was good and attentive.

Yelp
Delicious burgers, fries, and condiments! This burger joint first started as a food truck, and just 3 years later, opened up this first location in Irvine. They've gotten nominations, won an OC Register award, and now over 10 years later, are still rock'n it! Also serving beer, wine, Poutine, coconut shrimp, wings, bone marrow toast, and a new weekend brunch menu. They even have a grilled hanger steak, which I can't wait to try! Lots of sides too from regular fries, sweet potato fries, a petite salad, tots, and truffle Mac & Cheese. Today I needed another Savory Burger! That is actually what it's called, and it's sooooo fitting! This one comes with Swiss Cheese, 3,000 Island sauce, and bacon relish, which is the best condiment I've ever had! If you haven't tried it, you gotta! You can order online, but you can't make any changes, so we called our order in since my co-workers and I are a little particular. They open at 11am during the week, and 10am on the weekends. Looking forward to checking out that brunch plate Tres Leches French Toast! My mouth is watering already!

Yelp
I've had this restaurant on my list for a while and finally decided to try it after craving a burger. I came here late Friday night and was seated immediately. At first I thought this was a fast food type of restaurant, but it's actually full service with a bar. The interior was a nice vibe and very clean. My partner and I ordered poutine, tater tots, and the truffle and brie burger to share. The staff were very kind and even cut our burger in half for us. Everything was delicious. We the burger medium rare and it was juicy. I will say that the truffle taste was very subtle, though. It was a pretty heavy burger so I'm glad that my partner and I shared one. The poutine was good and definitely could be a meal on its own. The tater tots were just tater tots, but no complaints because that's what I wanted. They were crispy and not soggy/soft. Overall, I came here looking for a good burger and I got a good burger. Would definitely come back again and try more of their menu.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time visiting the cut. I went with a few friends on a Saturday night. There was no wait to sit. My table and I were immediately given menus. We ordered a few burgers and they were fairly unique. Ultimately, we got the Cut. True to the fine print on the menu, they were unable to accommodate any changes or modifications to our burger. While it wasn't my favorite burger of the night, it's definitely worth trying. Restroom is clean. There is plenty of parking outside. The staff is very nice.
google avatar

Sammy M.

Yelp
Burger was on bland side and fries were dry. Not much difference between here and another burger chain. Workers were nice, but food was average
google avatar

Yelp
First time here today, and the service was nice! We got there in time for their happy hour menu which allows you to take $3 off their burgers (excluding double smash and a $40 option). I got the OG which ended up coming out to $11 + $6 to add onion rings. I loved the bun on the burger. He said they get their bread baked fresh daily from OC Baking Co., and I could taste the quality of that bun; it was really good. I could also taste the quality in the meat. It wasn't too salty or greasy which is great. The toppings were fine. Maybe next time, I'll ask if they can add more veggies in there, but that meal kept me full for a long time! My boy got the same thing, and he loved it. He ate it so fast and said it was really good. The onion rings were crunchy and yummy, definitely worth the six dollar add-on. My boy got the fries, and those were tasty too. There's a cute patio area and seating inside. There's a little bar area and restrooms in the way back. I regret taking so long to give this place a try, but I highly recommend it to burger connoisseurs because it's a treat compared to fast food joints. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
From friendly service, to delicious food, to a lunch special happy hour thing, The Cut definitely made the cut. I hadn't had a burger in a while, and was ready to start my Fourth of July off with some delicious burgers from here, which was right down the street from my apartment! I split the savory burger, smashburger, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Ask for a side of honey to go with your hot chicken sandwich if you're someone like me, who likes sweet, savory, and spicy, because it was soooooo good! We also got a side of their onion rings, which was crispy, and no, the onion itself did not pull all the way out when we bit into it. If I could go back, I'd probably ask for two sides of the onion rings. The burgers itself were all so good, and my personal fav of the two had to be the savory burger. The bacon bits inside of it just went so well with the rest of the burger. If you come during midday, I believe there's a discount on the burgers! It looks like they also have other happy hour specials, a bar, and offers weekend brunch. The seating is very open and airy. We sat towards the outside patio area, which had the perfect sunlight and breeze.
google avatar

Angela A.

Yelp
Yummm! The burger was delicious. I ordered the Classy, medium. It came with grilled onions and cheese. I only wish I would've asked for pickles to add a must needed cool crunch. My wife ordered the Nashvilles sandwich and it was perfect. The seasoning was on point just a little heavy on the cayenne so if you like spicy food it's perfect for you. She order the Purple Drank, which comes with glitter. I found it refreshing. I had ordered from their rotating tab. A stout, which was way too strong for day time, 16.5% alcohol. Today was sunny so being able to eat indoors with the AC blasting was perfection. Ohh note the petite salad was an additional surcharge and it had fresh ingredients. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would probably visit again.
google avatar

Cindy P.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere is great but I feel like the food was overpriced for size and amount. The burgers were just like any other, nothing special.
google avatar

Alane C.

Yelp
I love randomly finding a cute little spot like this. The food was DElicious! I had the Nashville hot with the small salad. Chefs kiss, my fiance had the classic burger and yum. Also our server was super cool. He helped recommend drinks and they were great.

Yelp
The Cut is consistently our favorite gourmet burger spot! My favorite burger is the Savory, because the Savory is the perfect blend of savory, meaty goodness with a hint of sweet and umami thanks to the tasty and high quality ingredients! Absolutely obsessed with this Cut burger, and each time I get the Savory, it's always incredibly satisfying and delicious. The upside is that the Cut's Savory burger always delivers, but the downside is that it's hard for me to deviate from ordering the Savory because it's just too darn good! The solution is to go with someone else and split / share your meal by ordering something different. This time, in addition to our trusty Savory burger, we also tried the Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich. Very tasty and decadent thanks to the addition of cheese, but I have to say I still love the Savory burger more! It's a bit tricky to do a steak sandwich because biting into the sandwich may be hard to align with where the slices of steak begin and end, so there are steak bits that always end up falling out, haha. Still delicious thoughn Service at the Cut is friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the ambiance is casual and family friendly too. Thank you so much for always being a great weekend brunch spot and for the care y'all put into every dish! I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Cassandra M.

Yelp
My fiancée saw this place on TikTok and we decided to give it a try! The Truffle & Brie burger felt like I was being sent straight to heaven! From the soft bun, to the creamy cheese, the meat being perfectly cooked...it was one of the best burgers we've tried! I HIGHLY recommend getting that if it's your first time. We also tried the Spicy Sausage breakfast burrito and I loved the flavors. Big plus for all the sauces they put on the side. The beef tallow fries have me convinced all fries should be cooked this way lol literally the whole thing was 100/10!
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
First time here and I got the OG burger because I wanted to experience a classic burger! It was very good - juicy patty with soft brioche bun and all the fixings. The restaurant has a spacious modern look as well - you can choose between bar seating, both, and tables. I'd come back!
google avatar

Vince P.

Yelp
The Cut is serving up some of the most gourmet burgers in Irvine and beyond! This spot is located in the same plaza as Hmart and Sprouts and there is a good amount of parking spots. Reservations are recommended but you can also take your chances with walking in as well. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and there was about a 10 minute wait. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with about 7-8 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. We opted to try the Truffle and Brie Burger, The Cut Burger, Poutine, and a Lavender Lemonade. Everything that we had was delicious and we could definitely taste the quality of the elevated flavors. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time dining here. All of the staff are very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here but I would highly recommend trying one of their burgers. There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

Yelp
We got in to try the cut as soon as they opened this morning, but as we left, the traffic was flowing in we had a great experience. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The customer service was excellent and the food was great. The coffee was delicious no milk no sugar for me the all natural notes of hazelnut were perfect The French toast had a nice flavor really liked the hint of basil a must try Bacon eggs and potatoes Were a good choice the potatoes hit different nice and soft but still crispy Thank you for the hospitality see you soon..

Yelp
The food is amazing! I am basic so I got the OG cheeseburger and it was mouth watering delicious! The fries are so good and we got the buffalo wings and were perfect as well. Service was on point. I have zero complaints! I'm just so amazed with how delicious everything was! Something tells me I'll be craving this burger very soon!

Yelp
Wolfgang Please, decades of getting it right and the reason the kitchen is apart of the dining room.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was so tasty. I wasn't expecting that burst of flavor of onion jam on the bone marrow toast. Our server, Lisa, was very sweet and attentive.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Service was great, but I didn't like their signature "The Cut" burger. Mine came out too salty and without any sauce or condiments, I personally didn't think it was worth the asking price of this burger. I love my dry aged steaks as the next person, but this wasn't it.
google avatar

Kyle S.

Yelp
Food was 10/10. I've came here for a burger never the brunch, but it was worth every bite. The chilaquiles were awesome, the mimosas hit the spot, and the service; spectacular. Lisa was awesome she will have us coming back! Love her. Shoutout the to cut they definitely earned our loyalty.

Yelp
Hot honey sriracha wings with ranch and the new colombian burger were great loveeeeee

B. K.

Yelp
Very inconsistent lettuce wrap burgers for take out. The first burger came with no lettuce wrapped around the burger and just chopped up lettuce- there was a miscommunication with the person taking the order and they thought just no bun. Never heard of a burger with no bun. Then it was supposed to be corrected and the burger still had no lettuce wrapped around it. It was pieces of lettuce on top and smaller pieces of lettuce on the bottom. Not sure if I want to come back here.

Yelp
I follow The Cut on social media and the owner's creativity and humor are certainly a big factor of why The Cut is one of my go-to restaurants. I got the Original Burger to-go and it was truly one of the most delicious burgers I have ever eaten, not to mention that I felt healthy and clean after eating it (I'm prone to feeling sick after eating burgers that aren't healthy). I'm going to include The Cut in my Door Dash lunch rotation when I start my new job next month. The best culinary inventions in the burger space!

Yelp
First visit to The Cut--and we're officially hooked! As locals from San Diego, we were blown away by the warm, attentive service. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The burgers? Incredible. Flavorful, juicy, and structurally sound (no mess, no soggy buns--just burger bliss). Fries were crispy all around with amazing flavor--definitely not your average side. Our little one devoured the kids' mac and cheese, which says it all. The buffalo wing appetizer was out of this world--tangy, spicy, and addictive. Pro tip: ask for their house ranch. It's next-level and pairs perfectly with everything. We'll absolutely be back--and bringing friends. The Cut knows how to do it right Also big shot out to Melanie with her great customer service!

Yelp
I was craving a Smashburger and The Cut delivered. They offer Double Smashburger with a double patty, pickles, onions, and cheese during happy hour. FYI Fries are not included and you can get them on the side for eight dollars. The burger was delicious, however the fries are not worth $8. The onion rings were also eight dollars and those were pretty good. I ordered the Hard Arnold Palmer which was made with Vodka, House-made Orange Liqueur, Black Tea, Fresh Squeezed Lemon. It was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and very attentive. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite burger place and what I'd consider one of Irvine's gems. I've gotten takeout here a few times but finally decided to dine in with some friends for weekend brunch for a birthday celebration. The restaurant wasn't too busy and they had some nice outdoor seating options. As we got seated the server told us the menu has changed a bit and to my disappointment my favorite item, the Colombian burger, was cut from the menu. I was super bummed about it but the amazing server said she would talk to the chefs in the kitchen and see if they could make something similar. She came back and said that they had just enough items to recreate the burger one last time for me!! It absolutely made my day. Super thankful to the staff who were so accommodating and went above and beyond. I've never had such great service like that at any restaurant. Despite my favorite burger no longer being there, I'll continue to stop by and try the other ones and get my favorites like the tater tot poutine and try other burgers.

Yelp
Honestly, not a big burger person so I didn't have high expectations for The Cut but my husband was craving a burger so we decided to stop by for dinner. We got the wedge salad to share and I got the OG and my husband got the double smash burger. The wedge salad was light and refreshing, the perfect amount of dressing without overwhelming and my husband really liked the cherry tomatoes, everything tasted very fresh. My OG was delicious but unfortunately fell apart after a few bites (the grilled onions, while delicious, really weighed this thing down). We also shared a side of tater tots, so crispy! The smash burger definitely hit the spot for this burger craving too. The fast and friendly service was the cherry on top. Next time I'll try to save room for dessert. Great spot for a date night!
