Healthy and delicious breakfast options! I visited the Daily Beet after attending a workout session at F45 which is right next to this location. The place has a chill ambience and offers a wide variety of breakfast items and smoothies. My wife and I decided for a Breakfast burrito and an Avocado Toast. Both were amazing. You can tell the ingredients were fresh. The burrito comes with egg, avocado, black beans and cheese all wrapped in a spinach tortilla. The side mild salsa is delicious. I had to ask for an extra. For the avocado toast, it was simple, but again, super fresh. We asked for a side of smoked salmon to top it off. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because I also wanted a coffee but they did not have an espresso machine.

Google
This was my first visit, as I tour my city, trying new spots to eat. Ahjanae and KJ greeted me with smiles, answered all my questions, and made great recommendations to me as a first-timer. The breakfast burrito and green smoothie was DELICIOUS!!! The salad was so light and fresh. The burrito was tasty, filling, and I was only able to eat half because it's a nice size. I'll be back, and highly recommend.

Google
Fresh, healthy, delicious! As a vegetarian, it can be challenging to find a beautifully prepared meal that meets my plant-based goals. The Daily Beet is 100% green and clean! Salads, bowls, and freshly made juices will keep you feeling great!

Google
We went to The Daily Beet for a quick breakfast and tried their açaí bowl. It was delicious! It's a super cute spot with a couple of tables outside as well. The staff were very kind and helpful. I'm excited to go back for lunch some time and try their bowls!

Google
Reasonable prices, delicious food, and a fabulous not-too-sweet matcha latte. My mom and I picked up food after a busy day, and everything tasted great even after being microwaved. So glad we found this place!

Google
So grateful to find a fresh clean eat between all the southern food sampling in Louisiana. We had the açaí bowl, green salad, avocado on toast & longevity bowl 😍 really friendly team, bright airy space. Thank you!

Google
I had the Indian Curry grain bowl that comes with Roti, Pretty in Pink smoothie and a chocolate chip cookie. The curry was hearty and delicious, in not really spicy as the menu warned, the smoothie was refreshing (I added protein) and the cookie was the perfect sweet ending to a delicious meal!

Google
Much like the F45 next door, this space is huge. Giant ceilings and cool seating and a cute tomato plant in the corner (which you are not allowed to pick, according to their sign, but I wasn’t planning on it, but then I kind of wanted to after seeing the sign…I digress) Great salads, juices and energy balls. Good healthy eats in New Orleans. Very happy with how filling and healthy I felt after consumption. 2 thumbs up 👍👍

Yelp
This place is amazing, from the pleasant waitstaff to the quality of their food. Plenty of menu options and adequate portions. My wife and I decided to check The Daily Beet out even though I'm more of a hamburger and fries guy. The food was so delicious we came back the following day. Again, everything was excellent. Eating establishments come an go frequently along Magazine Street. I hope The Daily Beet lasts. It's truly a gem.

Yelp
I really like this place because they offer a little bit of everything although their plant based you won't feel left out order in here. I do a lot of traveling on the streets and sometimes I just need a quick bite. Something that's not gonna leave me feeling sluggish like a cup of burnt grease. The atmosphere is definitely some kind hippie retro calm vibe. OK onto the pancakes. I've had multiple things from this place but the pancakes kind of stood out. They're not a traditional pancake, if you are pancake lover, this is not your regular pancakes. They are oatmeal pancakes with banana and seasonal fruit. They hold a lot of heat so be careful with that first bite, they kinda have a required taste. Almost like a , mushy oatmeal pancake thingy with a crispy outside. I didn't love them at first, but I've grown to really like them and sometimes it depends on who's cooking how much I'm gonna like them that day. And don't get nothing else with these pancakes. They are so filling it's like I ate two bowls of oatmeal. They are very filling over all this place has something for everyone and there's always salt and pepper or a little bit of seasoning in your back pocket to spice things up.

Yelp
I ordered my food in advance on the website while walking the dog. I loved that they send a text after I order to keep up with the status and my receipt. I arrived for pickup and they let me bring Louie the giant pup inside to grab my food and they even offered him some water because he was soooo hot poor thing. The service is always bright and positive. I ordered the skinny green smoothie with a matcha add-on and a southwest bowl. It was very yummy and fresh. The bowl is actually huge and I loved that I had so left over for lunch. I felt super healthy after such a nutritious breakfast! I'll definitely be back to try more of the food at the Daily Beet.

Yelp
The first thing I notice in this place is the gorgeous lighting.. The overall aesthetic of the place is great. It has a cool and cheery vibe. The clerk that took my order was pretty nice. I am ordered the summer kale salad and skinny green smoothie. Both were delicious. I will definitely come back to try more options.

Yelp
I was taking a long walk along Magazine Street to sight-see and be healthy; passing by The Daily Beet and I was like I want to get something here (the place has a very appealing style). I took a look at the menu and was impressed with the bowls and salads. I already had plans for an early dinner so I didn't want to order any food but was interested in coming back so I asked the girl behind the counter a question about a dish. Sadly, she made it obvious she just wanted to take an order and not be bothered by my question. She did answer though and I asked another but after that I decided not to bother since it was clear she did not want to deal with me. My wife wasn't that thirsty; she just wanted a sip of something so I did the only logical thing.... I ordered (2) smoothies for myself and the wife can steal a couple sips. SMOOTHIES No.1: BLUE DREAM (Blueberry, Pineapple, Mango, Banana, Raw Agave) This was delicious... absolutely delicious SMOOTHIE No.2: SKINNY GREEN (Kale, Spinach, Pineapple, Mango, Banana) Even though I loved the Blue Dream, I really enjoyed the Skinny Green quite a bit. Something about that grittiness from the Kale that I like (it's a texture thing). I'm going to assume the poor customer service is limited to this one staff member (maybe she was having a bad day) and not the typical attitude of all staff; with that in mind, we will be back (especially with all the healthy option the menu offers; even have some vegan options).

Yelp
Last year, I came to New Orleans immediately after eating my way through Tijuana and the Lafayette, LA metropolitan area. So, I was ecstatic when I found The Daily Beet within walking distance of where I was staying with a thoughtful, vegetable forward menu that looked extremely appetizing. I immediately beelined over and ordered the Beet Benedict. Not only was it finger lickin' good, but it was plated so exquisitely that multiple people stopped by my table with inquiries: "Excuse me, sir. What menu item is that?" *** "That looks amazing. I'll order that the next time I come." *** "May I ask, how is that dish? Okay, great." The mother then turns to her adult son and tells him to order a beet toast for her. This place is a whole vibe, and I highly recommend it!!!

Yelp
Amazing service and fresh, healthy food options - everything is amazing here! Such a cute space and next to fun shops on Magazine. Highly recommend their juices!

Yelp
Daily Beet is a cool escape from the New Orleans heat. My favorite is the PB&J smoothie. It's just the right size, delicious, and fairly priced. The staff here is friendly and good at what they do. The place can get crowded at lunch so come early.

Yelp
This is a NOLA/ Magazine Street favorite! This place has the best health bowls, fresh press juices and smoothies around! This time I tried the rainbow bowl and think this one is my new favorite! Their ingredients are fresh, the staff is extremely nice and the vibe of the place is so bright and fun! I try to stop by every time I come into town and try something new! Great place!

Yelp
Is a review really needed?? I mean..., just look at this thing... And it tastes better than it looks! I hope you like peanuts, mmmhhhmmmn.

Yelp
I always pass by here when I'm on this stretch of Magazine and every time I peek in the window and say, "It's so cute, I wonder if the food is good? People seem to be enjoying it." I can now confirm that is indeed super cute on the inside and the food is indeed quite delicious. Upon entry I was greeted by soft R&B, lots of natural light, and earthy pastels--sold. I was greeted warmly by the staff and the service was swift and efficient. Before arriving I knew that it was vegetarian and vegan friendly, but I thought they might have more protein options available as add-ins. I had my eye on the Mexicali Blues salad which had black beans, corn, tomato, red onion, tortilla chips, cotija, and jalapeño-lime vinaigrette and I was looking for a protein to add. They only options are egg, avocado, smoked salmon, kimchi and tofu. The salad already came with avocado, so none of those options were really working with the flavor profile. A little grilled shrimp would have set it off! Nonetheless, it was really yummy! All of the ingredients looked and tasted incredibly fresh, there was a perfect amount of dressing, and the portion was just right. I would have liked some more tortilla chips, because I really enjoy a crunchy salad, but that's just my preference. Their smoothies and juices looked really good, too! I'll definitely be stopping in again to try one the next time I'm in the area. I know it'll be the perfect companion to walk Magazine with on a hot day.

Yelp
Yummy Indian curry. Healthy and good vibes type of place. Great for vegans/vegetarians

Yelp
After strolling around in the warm early afternoon, we stumbled upon The Daily Beet and decided to give their juices a try. It turned out to be the perfect oasis from the NOLA heat. We indulged in two refreshing juices: Watermelon Ginger and Smokey The Bear. The Watermelon Ginger juice was a delightful combination of the natural sweetness of watermelon with a kick of ginger. It was extremely refreshing that was much-needed in the heat. The Smokey The Bear juice was equally satisfying. Made from orange, grapefruit, lemon, cayenne, and maple syrup, it offered a delightful balance of tangy, zesty, and subtly spicy flavors. As we enjoyed our juices, we couldn't help but notice the dishes coming out of kitchen. The vibrant colors of the food caught our attention, and we instantly knew that we would have to return on our next visit to town. The Magazine St. location had vibrant murals adorning the walls, coupled with the comfortable seating arrangements, created a visually appealing and cozy atmosphere. The abundance of natural light streaming through the windows, and many green plants creates a delightful space.

Yelp
Hello GF / DF pancakes !! YEP read it again !! GF /DF !! they were amazing, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, protein PACKED and delightful... we were so impressed with the recipe... even though it was morning, they still let us order the southwest salad and it was a DELIGHT- fresh veggies, lightly dressed, and super flavorful ! We were getting ready to go on a swamp tour and wanted to make sure we wouldn't get hungry in the middle of this 3-4 hour excursion, as it's a bit of a commitment. The protein in our breakfast and the lovely service really started off our day right and we can see what its so popular with locals and tourists alike !!

Yelp
If you are a transplant and you are looking for healthy food that isn't fried or full of fat but still has flavor....this is your place. I ordered the Orbit bowl and it was amazing. I forgot to take a photo but will make sure to do so next time. The location on Magazine is accessible and the interior is well designed. The service is really good...but most importantly....IT'S CLEAN FOOD!
google avatar

Joenisha A.

Yelp
The girls in there are always sweet and helpful if you don't know what to order, but I had the Green Goddess salad, and it was so Fresh and delicious! This is my go to! I recommend coming here!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place and never knew eating healthy could taste soo good. The pressed juices are soo very yummy. I have recommended this place to several people.

Yelp
The best! Loved this place! So good, the person at the front had an attitude, but the food was amazing. I just wish the woman that worked there was friendly and nice.

Yelp
My kids and I stopped here on the way home from school. Perfect healthy after school snack. We ordered the PB&J, skinny green, and mango lassi. I would like to try the bowls and breakfast next time. Clean location, street parking, fast service. Overall, a good smoothie.

Hank R.

Yelp
This is how it's done! Everything here is healthy, delicious, filling, and refreshing all at the same time. The staff is all wonderful and amazing at all times. The owner is a gem. I have been coming here for many years and the quality never falters. Thanks for being so great, y'all!
google avatar

Camly T.

Yelp
This place is really cute and busy. I had their açaí bowl which was definitely good but not mind blowing. A good portion size. They have some outdoor tables as well
google avatar

Ellery D.

Yelp
Delicious! I'd been wanting to try them for a long time but their CBD location is always closed by the time I make it over there. Found this one on Magazine and treated myself to the PB and J smoothie with extra strawberries instead of blueberries and extra agave to appease my sweet tooth. Was nice and refreshing with a salty peanut butter aftertaste, and a good price too, at just 8 bucks. I'll definitely go back to try more.

Jessika F.

Yelp
Food was not impressive. They don't have any of the meals people are raving about here because they changed the menu. I would rather dine somewhere else.
google avatar

Tommy R.

Yelp
I like the food here but the prices are too high and most of the ingredients too inexpensive to omit the most expensive ingredients (avocado, goat cheese) on the sly for pickup orders and still be a reasonable value. Could have at least said something if it wasn't intentional cost cutting. Last couple of times the veggies also seemed to be prepared differently than in the past and seemed less fresh or canned-- particularly the beets, which given the name seems like a bad sign.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
i came here after a workout to get a breakfast before doing some work. i ordered the açaí bowl to go. i have to say, it's a pretty steep price considering the amount/stuff you get. i had about four slices of banana, a few pieces of pineapple, etc. overall it seemed like they were stingy on everything. except for the honey - which i think they were heavy handed with but that's my preference. the açaí part was pretty good though. cute interior, i love their offerings but could be improved!

Alex P.

Yelp
The pitaya bowl was great! Decent portions for a decent price. Service was reasonable, taking about 6-10 minutes to make a pitaya bowl and a smoothie. Pitaya bowl had a good amount of flavor, but they didn't really listen to my request to take out the herb hearts, even though I didn't mind them. The natural lighting and cleanliness of the place though was top notch, and there were free cups of fresh water available. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back.

Matthew C.

Yelp
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is awesome! Very nice portions. We had the Rainbow Bowl and the Indian Curry. The curry was nice and spicy and the bowl had lots of fresh flavors. We polished it off with a PB&J smoothie which was great. So glad we came here.
google avatar

Avah S.

Yelp
I have tried every bowl and THEY ARE ALL SO GOOD. They are healthy, balanced, and hearty meals. I feel really good after I eat it also. I highly recommend. They also have a chocolate and banana smoothie which is too die for. Breakfast tacos are also lovely! I love the daily beet!! Fav Bowl: The orbit

Lauren S.

Yelp
Used to love this place, til one day I got a Rainbow Bowl with a LIVE SNAIL IN THE LETTUCE! Absolutely unsanitary. When we called to tell the staff, we were told that it is because everything is organic and fresh, which means bugs can sometimes make their way into food. How does NOBODY find a bug while washing, cutting, and preparing fresh ingredients? Needless to say, we will not be returning...
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
The food here is always served extremely fast and it always tastes extremely fresh. They use high quality ingredients and serve up delicious dishes. The portions for the bowls and salads here are very generous and it is worth every penny.
google avatar

Janice T.

Yelp
Delicious and healthy! I usually get the breakfast tacos and the dragonfruit pudding.
google avatar

Ethel C.

Yelp
Clean and cute large interior space serving refreshing and nutritious bowls and smoothies right next to the shopping on Magazine st. Wanted a change from the heavier fare, this fit the bill and was filling! Love how they prepare the quinoa with different mix-ins. The interesting sauces were great too like mango habanero and beet jalapeño . Counter people were efficient and friendly too.
google avatar

Zack M.

Yelp
Great Açaí and staff. Super light and tasty. Tried during visit to town. I'm continuing to write because I need to finish this off with enough characters to be a review.

Yelp
I'm sooo happy this place opened on Magazine street. I saw it, turned the car around and decided to pop in for lunch! The guy at the counter was super knowledgeable about the new dishes ( yes their menu is different from the downtown one). I decided to try the curry bowl ---- omg!! It was soooooo good. The wild rice was cooked to perfection and the flavors bold and hearty. I'm not a fan of raisins but for some reason these work in the dish. My friend ordered the sweet potato bowl which I tasted too. Very good! Although I preferred my dish. The curry bowl comes with a side of warm roti. That was the cherry on top! The place is super clean and the decor is freeeeeesh. Clean eating and clean dining for the win! I'll be going back soon ( like today) to try something different. The portion sizes are quite big for me and I are about half and saved half for later. It was definitely worth it! The bathroom is clean and I did notice a change table for babies - which is great! They also give you ice in a glass ( if you ask for it) and free filtered water is available when getting cutlery. If you're looking for delicious healthy food, then this is the place to visit!
google avatar

Alejandra P.

Yelp
Finally went here for the first time, and it did NOT disappoint! The decor and vibe are wonderful. Service was really great. It took us a while to decide what we wanted, but the staff was so patient and friendly. I got the rainbow bowl and added a poached egg; my friend got the morning bowl, and both were amazing. The food was super fresh and high quality ingredients; beautifully presented. Massive portions! One bowl was more like 3 servings worth. I took mine home and stuffed myself with it. The leftovers kept really well. Also got a cold brew, and it was great! I work in coffee so I was skeptical bc they don't have espresso here, but wow, the cold brew was awesome! I HIGHLY recommend The Daily Beet!!
google avatar

Sarabecca L.

Yelp
Very chill spot to get something relatively healthy and hang out for a bit. Staff is super friendly and was accommodating of a toddler trying to get "plain" avocado toast. food is always excellent
google avatar

Jayde L.

Yelp
Huge serving a of amazingly healthy food. Their bowls are full of flavors and plenty of different options. They also have a refrigerated section when you walk in for grab and go items such as chai pudding, juices, and power bites. Such a beautiful location with tons of plants. Following COVID rules with limited seating but some outdoor seating as well.
google avatar

Lillian T.

Yelp
Boy did I need this place! After a week of eating "fried this and buttered that" to my hearts content, I was in much need of fresh cold pressed juice! Nice place, but the juice options were limited. Cold pressed juices were around $9 a piece.

Yelp
From a stand in St Roch to a corner shop downtown, The Daily Beet has now expanded Uptown, with a sunny new location and a slightly different menu. It's a sort of counterculture in New Orleans in that it offers healthy food that might be best described as "flexitarian"; not 100% vegetarian but you can pretty much certainly eat there regardless of your diet. They don't have anything fried, and most of it is based around fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. And most importantly, it's delicious. Among my few sources of disappointment were my discovery that despite the fact that their breakfast is offered "all day", the thing I really wanted to order, pancakes, is only offered until 2:00, which is not all day. However, there was plenty else on the menu to try, and my "chimi chimi" bowl yielded a hearty quinoa-based salad with avocado and feta and pumpkin seeds. Plenty of substance. I also went for an almond-based smoothie. It took a while, and frankly they seemed a bit confused on the service end, but it delivered the full mix of sweet and nutty flavors I'd hoped for when it arrived. The food is eclectic and not overly specific to New Orleans or any other culture, but frankly this place strikes me as the way I should be eating. The main reason I don't visit the other Daily Beets more is that the locations aren't that convenient to me, despite them being open seven days and for generous hours. This new shop is larger and easier to park near, and while it may stand out from the New Orleans food scene as compared to other areas where this sort of food is more common, I think I'd visit it again if it were anywhere in the world.

Yelp
I was traveling for work and ate here nearly EVERY MORNING for breakfast it was so good. My favorites were the breakfast tacos and can't pass up the beet benedict. It's by far the best!

Sydney R.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Must try for healthy options. The indian curry bowl was the best curry and the smoothies are so yummy!

Anu R.

Yelp
Great little find! Was just walking around Magazine after lunch and saw this place. I was intrigued by the menu and tried the açaí bowl... and it did not disappoint! Very fresh and tasty ingredients! Place was clean with a cute little bathroom. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I love the Mango Lassi smoothie. I add ginger for extra zing. I also love their peanut butter/avocado pudding and their dragonfruit chia pudding. These are indulgent treats and I seem to crave them about once a week. Yum yum yum!!!

Yelp
Quick and delicious and nutritious. Great environment and pet friendly. Great service and friendly staff.

Yelp
The Daily Beet is now one of my favorite places to grab a healthy lunch! I'm so sad they don't have one in Austin because I would definitely be a regular here. The aesthetic is absolutely adorable and I loved all the natural lighting. I ordered the Orbit Bowl because it had a flavor profile that I really love, although I would have been happy eating any of their delicious bowls. The orbit bowl was fantastic and I really loved the sesame ginger dressing that came with it, but wish I got it on the side because there was a little too much. My egg was perfectly cooked, however, my avocado was so hard that I couldn't really cut through it with a fork. Overall, I had a great time dining here and everything was reasonably priced!

Yelp
Delicious coffee, wonderful healthy and hardy food. Some friends and I came from out of town and didn't realize how staunch the Covid protocols were in NOLA this place was very accommodating. At first the said "y'all can eat outside." But then the GM noticed how cold we were and said "it's fine come inside. I'd hate to see y'all getting cold."

Yelp
I'll start by saying that our meals were a 5/5. We had a fantastic dinner which included the sweet potato soup, chimi chimi bowel and the supreme toast. I took a star off for service. No big deal. The food: - Chimi chimi bowel - served on some fresh green with quinoa, avocado, feta and red onions. There were for sure other things but that's what stood out. Served cold. Very nice flavor. The bowel was an excellent mash up of what felt like healthy flavors. - Sweet potato soup - very nice taste and consistency. I think it was topped with salted pumpkin seeds. Very nice. - Supreme Toast - Shari V's dish. She let me have one bite so I don't know all the details but it was served warm and tasted great. I liked mine slightly better. Ambiance: - nice looking restaurant. Clean for the most part although the bathroom was a little dirty, surprising because everything else looked really clean. - fast casual - order at the bar and then someone will bring it out to you. Seems like it's up to the patron to throw away the food and then place dishes in the bin. Easy enough. Service: I would describe it as sucky. The girl who took our order was not helpful. For example, Shari V asked what the soup of the day was and she told Shari V to read the board. Fair enough. Shari V missed the board which clearly had the soup du jour, but it's just one small example of someone not being particularly helpful or pleasant. I certainly noticed it, and there were a few other interactions which I also found irksome. Overall, I usually do not like vegetarian, vegan or things that are healthy when it comes to eating out. But I really enjoyed the Daily Beet. Overall, I plan to repeat the beat!

Yelp
So let me be honest. We all have those days - I drank too much on Friday night and I don't know about y'all but I just have to have hot food when I am hungover. I am not a big fan of breakfast food and It is nearly impossible to get hot food at 8:30am... I would have loved to get a bowl of Pho but nobody is open that earlier... so I was googling and realized that The Daily Beet on Magazine street is open at 8am and that they serve everything they have on the menu starting 8am!!!!!!!! I dragged myself there to get their sweet potato chili and YUMMMMMMMM it gave me life! I absolutely did not want to stuff myself with rice so I swapped for quinoa instead and they catered for me. Thanks for saving my life the other day... :-D
