Bakery pastries, salads, toasts, breakfast burritos & coffee

"The Daily in Inman Park bills itself as a coffee shop, but the food is honestly good enough to be a standalone breakfast spot. That's obvious by the huge crowds that swarm the place every morning. Natural light from the wall of windows gives the contemporary, polished decor a more welcoming, cozy aesthetic that we’d like every coffee place to have. Signature drinks like their coveted black sesame latte will keep caffeine seekers happy. But for anyone who hates coffee (we don’t know any of those people), their food items pack more punch than a double espresso. If we could marry a breakfast burrito we’d choose this one. It’s grilled (taking a hint from Bell Street) and packed with eggs, home fries, pickled onions, and the freshest salsa verde we’ve ever had. " - juli horsford

"I noticed a popular cafe and coffee shop, the Daily, opened a second location in Inman Park in March." - Beth McKibben

"Opening Monday, March 13, the Inman Park location of the Charleston coffee shop and cafe the Daily takes over the former Proof Bakeshop space on Hurt Street and carries the same menu as the westside spot while serving as the home base for the Daily’s bread and pastry operations and the planned launch of its wholesale business. Expect seating for around 35 people inside and a menu of coffee, seasonal lattes and smoothies, grain and vegetable bowls, toasts, pita sandwiches, and the Daily’s popular breakfast burrito, which is stuffed with scrambled eggs, home fries, cheddar cheese, salsa verde, and pickled red onions wrapped in a Poco Loco flour tortilla. The shop emphasizes using as much locally grown produce, fresh farm eggs, and pantry provisions from local food makers as possible, will donate one dollar from every espresso drink sold during the opening to the Inman Park Neighborhood Association, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; location: 100 Hurt Street, Atlanta (shopthedaily.com)." - Beth McKibben
