"Opening Monday, March 13, the Inman Park location of the Charleston coffee shop and cafe the Daily takes over the former Proof Bakeshop space on Hurt Street and carries the same menu as the westside spot while serving as the home base for the Daily’s bread and pastry operations and the planned launch of its wholesale business. Expect seating for around 35 people inside and a menu of coffee, seasonal lattes and smoothies, grain and vegetable bowls, toasts, pita sandwiches, and the Daily’s popular breakfast burrito, which is stuffed with scrambled eggs, home fries, cheddar cheese, salsa verde, and pickled red onions wrapped in a Poco Loco flour tortilla. The shop emphasizes using as much locally grown produce, fresh farm eggs, and pantry provisions from local food makers as possible, will donate one dollar from every espresso drink sold during the opening to the Inman Park Neighborhood Association, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; location: 100 Hurt Street, Atlanta (shopthedaily.com)." - Beth McKibben
