"Table space is limited at the Daily, so get there early if you want to dine in. However, most of the items are super travel-friendly if you want to brunch back home. The focus here is on local, seasonal ingredients. The cafe offers traditional items like avocado toast and breakfast burritos, but there are also plant-based “brisket” tacos or a breakfast pita with soft-scrambled eggs and hummus." - Erin Perkins
"Bright spot the Daily carries creative coffee drinks, like the black sesame latte, and some of the quickest breakfast items around. Stop by this hip cafe for an avocado toast or breakfast pita before heading to the office." - Erin Perkins
"The Daily is the place to go for a morning coffee, breakfast sandwich, or an afternoon lunch. Try the golden latte with turmeric-agave syrup and a breakfast pita with hummus and schug." - Erin Perkins
"After Butcher & Bee closed, I saw the Daily's second-location pop-up (the Daily is based at 652 King Street) occupy 1085 Morrison Drive, but the team announced the pop-up will end on December 30. Chief of staff Tara Pate said that after speaking with the team they concluded it was time to wind down and 'start our next chapter,' noting that Charleston showed demand for a larger location and that many guests enjoyed the Morrison experience, which made it nicer to leave feeling well received than to think the idea wasn't good." - Erin Perkins
"The Daily in Inman Park bills itself as a coffee shop, but the food is honestly good enough to be a standalone breakfast spot. The huge crowds that swarm the place every morning aren’t just coming for the caffeine. Natural light from the wall of windows gives the contemporary, polished decor a more welcoming, cozy aesthetic that we’d like every coffee place to have. Signature drinks like their coveted black sesame latte will keep caffeine seekers happy. But for anyone who couldn’t care less about coffee (we don’t know any of those people), their food items pack more of a punch than a double espresso. If we could marry a breakfast burrito we’d choose this one. It’s grilled (taking a hint from Bell Street) and packed with eggs, home fries, pickled onions, and the freshest salsa verde we’ve ever had." - Juli Horsford
