"The Dhaba features dishes from the Punjab region and is known for mixing its own blend of cumin, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, chili powder, cardamom, and nutmeg. There is no shortage of tandoor naan or halal meats on the menu and there’s also plenty of street foods like pani-puri, bhel puri, and samosa chaat. The restaurant offers options for online ordering." - Rudri Patel

Wow! This place is exactly what I was looking for! Food was incredible and staff was very helpful with their recommendations. I ended up getting a whole sample platter experience. My meal came with their chai, a fun appetizer with 3 different sauces, and the entree had tandoori chicken, lamb curry, yogurt, a bean dish, naan, and plenty of rice! My dish also came with a little tapioca dessert at the end. It was all divine! Husband had the chicken tikka masala with a Taj Mahal beer and loved it. Also best naan either of us have had! Id recommend this place to anyone!

My favorite Indian place to frequent is The Dhaba. For a variety of reasons. One of the biggest is they are very good at answering questions you have about the menu or what something is. They have a really good spice level. I usually get a 10 which of this restaurant is the perfect level if you like very spicy. The last time we went we got complimentary dessert. That was really really good. So I thought I'd repay the favor and make a nice review

I’ve driven by The Dhaba countless times, always curious, but never quite courageous enough to stop in. It’s a run down little plaza, for sure, but don’t let that dissuade you like it did me. Upon entering, you’re simultaneously greeted by insanely delicious smells and some of the nicest humans you’ll ever encounter. We showed up about 40 minutes before they closed, but not once did we feel rushed or unwelcome. The menu is pretty expansive, and I’ll admit, I’m not well-versed with Indian cuisine, so I was a little overwhelmed. My girl and I ordered a couple of dishes, plus samosas and a side of garlic naan. First they brought out a thin, crispy sheet of deliciousness, almost like a big tortilla chip, with three dipping sauces. The red was hot hot, the green was out of this world delicious and also packed a punch, and the other was a sweet, almost sour, tasty dip. I drank a lot of water to douse the flames on my tongue, but the staff continuously kept my little metal goblet topped off with fresh cold water. The samosas slapped! They were awesome, especially with that green sauce. For the main course we went with the classic chicken tikka masala and a side of cauliflower and potatoes… ‘something something’ Gobi… and it was all incredibly delicious. The chicken was a little tough, if I’m allowed one complaint for the evening, but the sauces were incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and tidy and nicely adorned, but the music was just a touch too loud and made it a little hard for us to hear each other. Maybe turn it down from 11 to a 6 or 7? Prices were a little higher than I expected, but I guess that’s everywhere these days. We had plenty of leftovers, so really we got two meals out of it, and they were just as good, if not better, the following day. For the excellent service alone I’ll be back to The Dhaba, no doubt. But the food is fire, and I’m so ready to expose my taste buds to the rest of their menu.

Google
I was disappointed the last time I went out for Indian food. I saw a lot of recommendations on Reddit for this place and oh my gosh I'm glad we tried it out. The garlic naan, and tandoori chicken stole the show. I can't wait to come back!

Google
My husband and I were in the mood to indulge in some Indian delicacies. This location was literally a 5 min drive from home ,Total win! Our first impression was how excellent the staff attended to us. The menu had so many excellent suggestions. We started with Hariyali paneer tikka, excellent portion, and very delicious. For our main dish, we both tried Dhaba Chicken Curry. My husband spice level was at an 8, and I decided to try at a 5. Both were very favorable. We are most definitely looking forward to returning and bringing our friends to dine with us.

Google
It was good. Not amazing. I’ve been on the hunt for a GOOD Indian restaurant with deep flavorful dishes here in Phoenix. This place still missed the mark. The best dish we got was the butter chicken at level 6 spice. The spice is what made it. The other dishes with lower spice levels weren’t as tasty We expected this to be a better since it has so many good reviews. Also we didn’t think the statues inside the restaurant were very appropriate or family friendly.

Google
Great service and great food (amazing home cooking taste). Really enjoyed the entire experience - courteous greeting, menu recommendations, the service, and the food

Forgot to take a photo because I was so excited to eat.. I hate half eaten dishes personally so I'm just going to say.. Delivered on service, friendliness and the food was so tasty. We love Indian food to begin with but we both tried something new and damn.. Worth. It. So good. I cannot wait to come back and try more options. A great variety of vegan dishes for us to try here. We will be back! Oh we're back and although a little bit of a wait to sit we were good for it. Delicious all around. Plus the best service you can get!

Yelp
We love The Dhaba, so much so that we drive from Surprise. The food is outstanding. I also want to say the family who owns it is also wonderful. They work so hard to run the restaurant, the children work full time and go to college. We have NEVER had anyone be disrespectful in anyway. The restaurant is quiet and clean. They even have a larger dinning area for lager groups. We will continue to drive across the valley to eat here and support a hardworking family.

Jamil Q.

Yelp
First time trying this Indian restaurant. One of the best Indian restaurants in Arizona. I ordered the chicken thikka and the goat biryani. Both were so amazing so fresh flavors were just popping. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Scottsdale.

Josh G.

Yelp
The Dhaba is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Valley. It is consistently very tasty. I like the Garlic Naan and Paneer Tikka Masala the most. The staff frequently check to see if you need more water and are friendly. There usually will be a wait of about 10-15 minutes. Parking is usually pretty easy. The only downside I would say is that it that the food is on the pricier side. Overall though, this is a great spot to get some Indian food and there plenty of vegetarian options as well.

Melissa F.

Yelp
This place is very cute inside, has great service, and solid Indian food. Love the metal plates and cups! They provide plenty of rice and large portions, and the garlic naan is fantastic. We ordered three meals between the two of us, and both had lunch for two days afterward! Good option for Indian in Tempe!

Nicole B.

Yelp
This food is amazing. The service, the atmosphere. It's worth it, if you can try it. The food is really spicy though so do not be cocky and try to get a 10 on the scale, start low if you are not used to Southern Asian spice.

Aaliyah F.

Yelp
This is my fiancé's and I's favorite place for Indian food. The samosa chaat and chicken tikka masala are my favorites here, but everything is just as delicious! The service was incredible and you just know that the food is always made with love. The owner also let us try their mango ice cream which was fantastic! I look forward to dining again.

Rachel K.

Yelp
I had to update my review from forever ago to remind everybody that this is STILL 5 stars and STILL one of the best restaurants in AZ hands down. Phenomenal, attentive service every time I come here. Again, Karan is super nice and so is Enu. And all of the staff!! Everyone is always making sure our cups are constantly filled and we are constantly happy. We are treated like family here and taken in no matter how busy it seems (and of course it is always busy - because it is an AMAZING PLACE!). This place honestly has my business for life and it should have yours! I say this without an ounce of bias in my body. The Dhaba is a regular date night spot for me and bae at this point because not only is the food simply amazing, but so are the people. Yelp friends, PLEASE check out this spot if you haven't already!! ASAP!

Marti P.

Yelp
Always a great experience here. Outstanding service and magical flavors! We came for lunch which is the same menu as dinner, so we stuck mostly to appetizers. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought us a lovely frozen mango treat, delicious!

Reema M.

Yelp
I recently dined at the Dhaba restaurant, and while the service was professional, it didn't stand out. The rustic interiors and limited bathroom options might not appeal to everyone. On the bright side, there's a commendable variety of vegetarian dishes. The Sweet Lassi deserves a 5/5 for its delicious, hearty flavor. The Vegetarian Platter, though diverse, felt a bit heavy and soggy, earning it a 3/5. Pani Puri (4/5) was enjoyable, but more potatoes would enhance the experience. The Malai Kofta (5/5) and Paneer Kadhai (4/5) impressed, but Dal Makhani (3/5) fell short of high expectations. The Vegetable Biryani to go (4/5) was flavorful but heavy. Despite some quirks, it's a must-visit for good food, though the Yelp app's Togo go discount wasn't honored FYI for Yelpers!

Aditi J.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We had the chicken thali and it everything was so good. The kheer was tasty. So happy to see the restaurant full on a Wednesday night. The waiters were attentive and kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Thanks for the lovely dining experience.

Avinaba C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and it has always been hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good but other times not as much. Recently it's been more miss than anything. It feels like we're having mainly oil/butter with a small portion of chicken/lamb/etc and frankly the price is not worth it. It was also difficult for me to tell the difference between the garlic and plain naan which shouldn't be difficult to tell apart. Also would highly recommend that you come in person and eat rather than DoorDashing. Their service has always been great so no complaints there and the ambiance is decent. It's a typical Indian restaurant and it's cool that they have the traditional utensils and plates. Will be back again though and hoping to have some better quality food.

Michael L J.

Yelp
Mouthafuxkin food hit every single time! Veggie Samosa all the Vegan/vegetarian dishes is like dat!

John T.

Yelp
Best Indian food in the Phoenix region, imho. Friendly, informative service. Fabulous flavors. Supports the community. Has nice atmosphere. Good location. I go as often as I can

Pankaj M.

Yelp
I went again to Dhaba and will highly recommend. Great food and service. Ambience is very cosy and They really have lot of space If someone want to try some good authentic Indian food Try this place. Owner Mr. k is super nice and friendly

Depeka S.

Yelp
Visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon as we were in the mood to indulge in some Indian delicacies. Once the entire group was present we were promptly seated. The ambiance is very homey and warm and as it's a family owned restaurant it gives the warm vibes. The restaurant was fairly crowded. We all ordered lassi ranging from mango, rose , sweet to salted! All of them tasted fabulous but only drawback is that the sweetness in lassi cannot be altered I would love that option! For the main course nothing stood out everything was edible but I was extremely disappointed with the recommendation I went ahead with - the paneer hariyali tikka. The name itself suggests green but there was nothing green about it not the flavor nor color. Back home this is a favorite and this didn't match up. We were treated with hot jalebis at the end. I would also like to mention that although the place appears clean I saw 2 roaches on the wall at our table which instantly killed my appetite. I wanted to bring it to the restaurants notice but they were busy attending other customers.

Harpreet S.

Yelp
Came in for an early dinner and they had a few tables already seated. The location is near the light rail and ASU which was convenient for us while in Tempe. We ordered a couple of cocktails which were amazing. The staff was very friendly and checked in frequently. We ordered some delicious tandoori shrimp, butter chicken, garlic naan, matar paneer, and rice. Everything was mouth watering to the point they almost had to roll me out of here. You should def check out this spot.

M M.

Yelp
Amazing food, solid unobtrusive service. Food is spicy legit Pakistani goodness in Tempe.

Anand T.

Yelp
We went to Dhaba based on our friends recommendation. We ordered a few dishes veg and non-veg. Veg was god but non-veg chicken was very salty when my colleagues complained they took it back and brought back the same food but placing it on tandoor. When we brought to their attention and requested to waive off just the salty tandoor. The manager showed up he was very rude. He almost threatened us. Please avoid eating non-veg foods.

Eugenio G.

Yelp
First time i came to this place, and by far i can say it is rhe best indian food i have had in years. For starters we had: Amritsari Samosa Chaat We ordered Biryani and Chicken Tikka Amazing!!!

Akshar P.

Yelp
Best Indian food in town. I have came here twice and both time food and their service has been excellent! We ordered their panner Burji, butter masala, and lassi are our go to order. Ambiance is friendly and feelings live as there are plenty of seating options for all group size. I love their menu verity and ability to pick anything based on your liking. Their parking is limited but I'm sure you won't mind walking a bit from next parking garage over for some delicious food.

Farah D.

Yelp
The reviews here are completely accurate in terms of terrible customer service - specifically the man at the front desk is awfully rude. Do not recommend this spot. I am SO surprised at how terrible this service has been and the fact that he had the audacity to talk back to his customer.

Erin M.

Yelp
Holy moly you have to try the Dhaba for some real authentic Indian food. We got the chicken tikka masala spice level 4 which was recommended by the server. It was in my opinion the perfect spice level for me (I may have been able to go to 5). Boyfriend go the lamb vindaloo which was chef kiss amazing. Spice level 6 on that wasn't too bad, definitely made us sweat but the perfect flavoring. You cannot skip on the garlic bread with your entree. It's amazing Highly recommend putting in your entree and starter at the same time as it is all made to order. The service was extremely attentive and we had such a lovely evening. Place is definitely kid-friendly, noise level is moderate but the smell of this place is just to die for. Could NOT recommend the Dhaba ENOUGH!!

Lei G.

Yelp
DoorDash diner delivery. Ordered Dhaba chicken curry, Peshawari Goshi Biriyani & Badami Kheer. All the dishes were delicious! Best Indian food we've had in Phoenix in awhile. Their menu had great variety- looking forward to trying more dishes!

I. J.

Yelp
Great family owned place. Clean and excellent customer service. The food is fresh and the flavor was excellent. You can choose from 1 to 5 on how hot you want. The bathroom is clean. I will be back to this place. I bought extra naan for tomorrow.

Ella H.

Yelp
The Dhaba is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Valley so far! The food is fantastic, the ambience is comfortable yet classy, the service is good, and it's family owned! All wins in my book! I usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala paired with a Lassis and and my boyfriend branches out and usually gets something vegetarian, trying something new every time. And of course, we usually get garlic naan to share. We are never dissatisfied! The flavors are always bold, warm, and delicious. This place is worth checking out! We come in pretty often, and the place is usually filled with happy guests(:

Mary W.

Yelp
Food and service were both excellent. My friend and I had the vegetable and lamb kormas, which were more than enough for both of us. The person who took our order was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back.

Nooshi B.

Yelp
Dhaba is where it's at! Everything is SO good. Service, quality, prices, portion and cleanliness are all awesome. The chicken tikka, lamb korma and Chana palak were so flavorful and hit the spot on a cold night. We also got the garlic naan, roti and Raita to compliment the entrees. This is my favorite Indian restaurant when in Arizona!

Matt D.

Yelp
I don't know what I expected, because The Dhaba came highly recommended, but I was not prepared for how good this place is. Ordered takeaway. Every single bite was delicious. Lots of options to choose from, and lots of spice levels to choose from. I'll be back.

Winnie L.

Yelp
Pro-tip: It's a smaller space, so it's smart to call ahead for a reservation. Highlights: The food was really delicious and there's endless variety in the menu. My favorites were definitely the samosa chaat and the chicken korma. I loved the presentation that the food was brought out in too. The service was friendly as well and we didn't have any issues. Lowlights: We had a weird situation where we specifically ordered the goat curry and even had a discussion about if there were bones or not and then when they dishes came out, they brought out a vegetarian dish that we didn't order and said we never ordered the goat curry. Thankfully, they just took back the dish and cooked the goat curry for us even though they were close to closing. The parking lot is a bit small and not in the best area either.

Craig B.

Yelp
This place kept popping up when looking for Indian food in the valley. Was not disappointed at all. Perfect spice levels for the curry, delicious garlic naan and samosas, and sweet, sticky jalebi as a complimentary treat at the end. Not sure what else I could ask for! Worth mentioning that we arrived a bit early on a Saturday and it did take a few minutes to get seated even though it wasn't crowded (yet), but business picked up VERY quickly around 6pm. I highly recommend calling to make a reservation if you intend to go during peak weekend hours.

Shibly U.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. I always take my guests here for authentic flavors and fresh amazing food. Never disappointed with food, atmosphere, or service. We purposefully order a lot just to have leftovers. Great price for quality food and amount of food. I'm picky with my Asian food, this place is worth all the stars.

Bronwyn K.

Yelp
Great food. Have been there a bunch of times, have ordered lots of different dishes and everything has been great

Harika S.

Yelp
Some of the BEST INDIAN food in the Phx area so far!! Every single dish we tried was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved the complimentary papd and dessert. Pani puri was so hood I had to bring back some! Meat was very well Prepared and all the veg dishes were very flavorful. Highly recommend. Loved their ambiance and authentic setting with steel plates and copper glasses. Definitely coming back

Meredith G.

Yelp
I can't recommend this place enough! The service was quite attentive and quick. The food was all so, so, so delicious! It was probably the best Indian food I've had in Phoenix, and definitely the best chicken korma I've had.

Ross F.

Yelp
I don't know much about Indian food, but this place was fantastic! The dining space is inviting and super comfortable. The service was awesome! The menu is extensive, and when I asked for suggestions, the server was polite and super helpful. There was always someone filling our water glass or asking me if I wanted another beer when mine was empty. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time which surprised me given the place was packed. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Treena C.

Yelp
Wow! This is a fantastic little find in the middle of busy Tempe. There is parking in the small lot and it is also near the light rail. Once you put the chaos of busy Apache Blvd behind you, and walk inside you will be enveloped in a calm, quaint restaurant. I was here on a Tuesday evening and there were four other tables with people. They seem to do a lot of take outs. Service was prompt. They did not immediately come over for our drink order, but gave us time to look through the extensive menu. We ordered and our drinks were brought quickly. We also ordered Samosas and Chaat to start- both were great but we are still chatting about the Chaat. What a dishful of flavor! For dinner we ordered three dishes, two chicken and one lentil, honestly we asked our server for his opinion about which ones he recommended. When our food arrived, the presentation of everything was quite lovely and portion sizes were quite abundant. Each dish was very flavorful. The basmati rice and the garlic naan rounded out our meal nicely. There was plenty of chicken in the two chicken dishes. We took home enough for two more meals. Three of us had two drinks and 5 dishes for $90.00.

Gina L.

Yelp
There is more parking in the back!! Between the vegetarian samosas, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala, everything was pretty good. I liked how the chicken tikka masala wasn't masked by too much heavy cream so we could appreciate the spices. We ended with some gulab jamun, which was a sweet finish. I'd be interested in trying their "whole meal experience" (looked like a prix fixe), or goat/lamb dishes. The ambiance/decoration is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly. We had to wave staff down for some water/rice refills, but not a problem.

Katarina L.

Yelp
AMAZING! WE HAVE GONE SEVERAL TIMES! We have gone several times and the food has always been amazing. We get level 7 spice and it's perfect. HOWEVER, if you're not used to eating ethnic spicy, do not get 7. If you're a mild spicy type of person, go much lower. My husband and I are used to spicy food, so that's why we got up to 7. The food region is supposedly out of Punjab, India. We have not had specfic Punjabi food, but it's incredible! The mango lassi is delicious! Get the garlic naan!! We will be returning!

Michelle F.

Yelp
Everything single item was so delicious! Service was quick and staff was friendly. Water was always refilled without asking. Try to wine from India - it's a semi-sweet red blend! The Taj Mahal Lager was good and had a sweet aftertaste. This restaurant is a well oiled machine! We would definitely return!

Bushra H.

Yelp
It truly pains me to say this but I would think twice before coming here again because I had such a terrible experience the last time I came here. I've been here a couple of times and came back because the food was actually it's good. Very well seasoned, very on point for North Indian cuisine. Unfortunately the service is a complete disaster. If you come on most nights, you will wait a long time to be seated. Which would be fine except the staff if not great about taking reservations and holding them. If you want to make one, you cannot do it ahead of time, you have to call the day of and hope they pick up. The first couple of times I came with a smaller group, the waitstaff was ok and we were served within a reasonable amount of time. The food was actually quite good, so was the masala chai. Some positives: large menu, lots of options, ton of gluten free items. Also the prices are quite reasonable. The time I came with a larger group, I purposely came on a night where I was assured it would not be as busy. This was important because this was a business dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant was completely understaffed and not ready to serve a group of 7. We spent 2 hours in the restaurant and just barely got a chance to order appetizers. We ordered tea, it never came. We were seated by one person, our drinks were taken by another person and our apps were taken by a different person. Completely disjointed and a little embarrassing. I was truly disappointed in the service on this day and for this reason, I may not come back. This is unfortunate because the food was still really good but sadly the experience left much to be desired. I really hope future diners have a better experience than I did.

Yelp
The Dhaba, tucked away in the heart of Tempe, delivers a truly authentic Indian dining experience that transcends traditional culinary expectations. As you step into the restaurant, the inviting aroma of spices wafting through the air instantly transports you to the bustling streets of India. The food, undoubtedly the highlight, is a tantalizing exploration of Indian cuisine. The butter chicken, a staple of Indian menus, is rich and creamy, yet perfectly balanced, with an unparalleled depth of flavor. The lamb kabob is beautifully tender, marinated, and grilled to perfection, while the chicken tikka masala, served alongside their signature chili naan, strikes a harmonious balance between richness and spice. Each dish is a tribute to the culinary diversity and complexity of India, even earning a stamp of approval from Indian expatriates. In addition to the outstanding food, The Dhaba boasts an impressive selection of Indian beers. The variety and quality of the beverages add an extra layer to the dining experience, making it an excellent destination for beer enthusiasts and curious diners alike. One cannot review The Dhaba without mentioning its exceptional service. The owner's warmth and hospitable nature permeate throughout the establishment, enhancing the overall dining experience. Beyond running a successful restaurant, his profound dedication to societal betterment and nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize highlight an exceptional character that is mirrored in every aspect of The Dhaba. While the restaurant doesn't offer a buffet, it instead focuses on serving carefully crafted, individually portioned dishes, emphasizing quality over quantity. Each plate that comes out of the kitchen is a testament to the attention to detail and dedication to authenticity that defines The Dhaba. In conclusion, The Dhaba is more than just a restaurant - it's a culinary journey through India, complemented by an engaging atmosphere and exceptional service. Whether you're an ardent fan of Indian cuisine or a first-time explorer, The Dhaba in Tempe guarantees an unforgettable dining experience.

Yelp
My husband and I have been regular patrons of this restaurant for over five years, but our recent experience has left us deeply disappointed and questioning our loyalty. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior in a place we once held in high regard. During our last visit, we were shocked when we were denied a seat in the front area and were instead directed to a table near the washroom. The location was not only inconvenient but also unappealing due to its proximity to the washroom. What saddened us even more was the manner in which the front desk employee handled the situation. Instead of addressing our concerns with empathy and understanding, the employee raised their voice and exhibited a threatening demeanor, even going so far as to make violent remarks and threatening to throw us out. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and unbecoming of any establishment. While we understand that misunderstandings can occur, it is essential for businesses to handle such situations with professionalism and respect. No customer should be subjected to hostility or threats when voicing their concerns. As a result of this experience, we urge the management of this restaurant to address their staff's behavior and implement proper customer service training. Moreover, we call upon the Indian community, including students and professionals, to reconsider supporting this establishment until they demonstrate a commitment to treating all customers fairly and respectfully. Discrimination and racism have no place in our society, and it is important for us to stand together against such behavior. We sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure that no customer experiences what we did. Until then, we regretfully cannot recommend this restaurant to others.

Arti S.

Yelp
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Food is super fresh, can be customized for those who prefer more or less spice, and such flavorful food!

Matt G.

Yelp
STOP! You're done! The search is over! You can put your phone away and quit looking through boring restaurants and just trust me that this will meet -no- EXCEED your expectations. I set out tonight to eat somewhere new near me and this is where I ended up. Now I heard a couple times that this place was "great" but I never took the recommendations seriously (Biggest mistake of my life). I can't begin to count the amount of terrible dining experiences I've had UNTIL NOW. From the moment you step inside to when you have to leave at closing because you don't want to go you will feel like family. Every person there especially our server Karan welcomed us with open arms, open hearts, and even more open plates! This was a memorable experience I will be returning for time and time again. Now I haven't even talked about the DELICIOUS food that these incredible people offer. From the beginning to end for every single bite I took I could hear my stomach thanking me for blessing it with the delight that is The Dhaba's immaculate menu. I can't remember the last time I was as blown away as tonight with the food, service, and hospitality that is The Dhaba

Roger W.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! Everything on the menu is great. It's so far the best Indian cuisine I've had in Arizona!!!

Krupa S.

Yelp
As an Indian, it is really hard to find good authentic Indian food in Phoenix. This is by far my favorite Indian restaurant in town. Reminds me of my mom's homecooked meals. The food here is so good! 10/10 recommend if you're in the area.

Meghan K.

Yelp
Indian food is so underrated because every time I try a new place, it's better than the previous. This place will be my latest favorite for a while though as far as Indian restaurants go. They have easily the best naan I've had. It had some little areas toward the edges that were fluffier than I was expecting, borderline NM style tortilla/pita, and oh man that is IT. That's the goods right there. We ordered two dishes (butter chicken & this wild sampler platter that had basically everything I wanted to try plus a drink and dessert), both medium spicy, and they were on point with the spices and flavors. Each bite was just full of zing that wakes up your senses. My sampler plate included the curry chicken and wtf man. How have I been missing this for so long. I took one bite, and knew that this place is a game changer. There were no gristly pieces in the chicken (which will ruin a meal for me because I get really thrown off by it), in any of the dishes, and the rice was fluffy and light. Their chutneys were surprisingly good in the sense that I've had them elsewhere, and I got more than I expected flavor-wise. The red one is dangerously spicy though, so tread lightly. Butter chicken is always my go to dish, and I was nervous when I saw how red the sauce was, but now I just wonder if other places are just cutting corners. The creaminess of the dish, cut with some of the Raita, soaked up with the naan.. chef's kiss y'all. Definitely come by here. The servers work as a team, everyone was super friendly, and quick to come by if your water glass even seemed low. It got a little loud right as our meal was coming to an end, so I'm just glad we made it before the later dinner rush.

Yelp
We choose this place as the reviews looked promising. We are huge Indian cuisine lovers and have tried various Indian cuisine restaurants in five different states. We both ordered the Kashmiri Chicken Tikka Masala, level 2(myself) and level 8 (husband). Both were very bland and pricey for the lack of spice flavor and small portions they provide. We both ordered Dhaba Special Lassis' and they also were very bland and lacked a lot of the rich mango flavor- thankfully, we asked if they could remake the lassi's and they did. We also ordered a side of garlic naan and it was actually nicely baked. The service was wonderful! The young lady was very sweet and welcoming. Based on the food, we will not be coming back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Delicious food planning on coming back soon. It was a successful parents night out a lovely spot to enjoy a good meal. We experienced friendly service even with it being so busy. Everyone from aunties, students and couples were dining when we were there such a unique vibe one can only get in Tempe.
