Parisian-inspired jazz club with live acts & craft cocktails

"Concealed beneath the Roxy Hotel in TriBeCa, this vaulted, exposed‑brick room with red curtains and candlelit tables transports you to a Parisian boîte; couples huddle into cozy twosomes while a state-of-the-art Meyer Sound system delivers excellent audio wherever you sit. The elevated dinner menu and Natasha David’s handcrafted cocktail program make it easy to turn a show into a full evening, and I found small signs requesting silence throughout as a reminder that the music is the focus; waiters in white blazers discreetly take orders and the set moves effortlessly from upbeat swing to somber ballads with musicians trading playful riffs that feel like old friends jamming. Leaving the room, I felt like I’d been living in a film." - Jessica Chapel
"A subterranean jazz club, The Django offers a dynamic blend of live music and craft cocktails, set against a backdrop of New York’s art deco glamour. Known for its world-class performances, the space evokes the feel of a classic speakeasy, making it a must-visit for lovers of both music and style. The Roxy’s cool, creative crowd only adds to its allure." - Ty Gaskins
"“The lighting is really cool. The mirror and sink just wrap around in such a cool way, I feel like every mirror selfie I’ve taken in there has come out really cool. Their stalls have floor to ceiling doors, which I really like as well. It’s a jazz club, it’s so cool. They’ve got a photo booth in the lobby…clearly, I like photo booths.”" - will hartman

"The Django is a jazz club in the basement of Tribeca’s Roxy Hotel. The room feels like a cheese cave, or maybe a wine cellar, with vaulted ceilings and a central stage that hosts different performers nightly. Sets start every 90 minutes between 7:30 p.m. and midnight, and a “night owl” menu with mac and cheese and a $30 burger is served starting at 11 p.m." - Paul Schrodt
