13 Must-Try Instagrammable Cocktails in Portland | Eater

"The End, located along Division’s popular shop-lined stretch, is a cozy, candlelit hideaway that serves up fun offerings like a buttered popcorn Old Fashioned and a variety of gussied-up instant ramen cups as snacks. But don’t overlook seasonal specials like The Lady Day Sour with sweet and spicy masala chai, Spanish chestnut honey, baked apple, lemon juice, and Westward Whiskey Original. It’s shaken with an egg white for the finishing touch, along with a dried apple slice, thyme sprigs, and edible gold foil." - Krista Garcia

The Cocktail Heatmap: Where to Drink Right Now in Portland

"Fun-loving energy is palpable in the cocktail and food menus at The End, a bar opened by a supergroup of Portland bartending talent and chef Sam Smith. Hey Love co-owner Emily Mistell’s twists on classic cocktails include a s’mores-topped espresso martini, a Buffalo wing-flavored michelada with Frank’s Red Hot and blue cheese, and a buttered popcorn Old Fashioned. To snack on, soft pretzels come with kimchi Velveeta dip and Cup Noodles are rigged to taste like esquites, complete with crema, Tajín, and lime." - Janey Wong, Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Happy hour everyday from open to 5pm! My sister and I tried the petnat and skin contact wines. Both were so great we ended up getting a 2nd round. The inside was very cute. Highly recommend if youre in the area looking for a fun place to get drinks. The cocktails looked great (s'mores espresso martini and gin dirty martini to name a few) but we were more in the mood for wine.

Such a cute spot for dates, friends, solo dining, lunch, dinner, drinks, anything!! Drinks taste sophisticated and delicious. Food from Ruthie’s is a must try. The tuna crudo is my favorite thing I’ve eaten all year and the pork coppa is tender juicy flavorful and divine! Their service and energy is always so loving and sweet. They even brought my pup a fresh water bowl :)

If I lived in Portland I think this would become my go-to bar! I stopped by for a drink before our movie at the tomorrow cut theatre and halfway through the movie I wanted to go back for a second drink. The cocktail menu is so creative and the drinks even more so. My husband got the popcorn old fashioned and it was mind blowing (yes it even tastes like popcorn!). I got the s’mores espresso martini and it was so good too. I hope to come back here in the future.

Stopped in here with a friend before a movie and it was an excellent stop! Great atmosphere, awesome service and just delicious drinks. Tired the Buttered Popcorn Old fashioned and it was way better than I expected. Also after we saw a bunch of people getting the Espresso Martini with the burnt Marshmallow we had to get some and they were top notch! Both bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable. Will for sure be back!

Google
The best pretzel and the best mule cocktail ever. Beautiful little spot to go and right next to the new TOMORROW theater and then salt and straw down the street. Perfect date night!

It's official. This place opened a week ago and we've already been 3 times. There's some really great bars on Division, but this place still fills a need. Just like their owners, Hey Love and Cat's Paw, the bar is top quality and the drinks are tasty and creative. I wanted to wait to try the ramen and it was awesome. We are grateful to have a great cocktail bar so close.

Had a couple cocktails and beers with friends. Great cocktails. Born and bred to rip and shred, and the s’mores espresso martini

Google
Great bar near a lot of other great spots in a great part of Portland. Did I mention the word great enough? Drinks are interesting and tasty, bartenders know their stuff, make it a date night and come here before a show at the Tomorrow Theater for a GREAT time.

Yelp
Although the bar was smaller than I imagined, the drinks, service, and vibe were way beyond what I expected. It totally made up for the cozy space. I'll definitely be back for more.

Yelp
Excellent service, lovely environment, great playlist. Cocktails were delicious and didn't break the bank. Quinn was a delight to have as our bartender this evening! Thanks!!

Yelp
So happy this cute little cocktail bar pulled into the neighborhood. The drinks were amazing, the cup noodle concoction was interesting and I can't wait to try the other flavors! Both servers were super nice, and we had a great first experience here and look for many more visits to come!

Yelp
Avoided The End since they opened based on their cocktail list of buttered popcorn drink and toasted marshmallow martinis. But took a chance tonight and the two female bartenders were awesome and extremely skilled to make any and all drinks beyond the millennial menu listings. We'll be back a lot. Beautiful bar in our neighborhood. We are 65+ (hence the no to the campfire cocktail) and we're welcomed.

Yelp
Wonderful new cocktail bar. Drinks are tasty and service is friendly. They completely transformed the space from its prior days as the Oregon Theater (just Google for past). The space is beautiful and feels very Portland....The End is a wonderful addition to the area.
