Yelp
I am Italian and I'm always looking for the best Italian restaurants. In my opinion, finding the little places are the best. Well, The Etna Rosso did not disappoint! I've run, biked, and driven by here more times than I can count, but my Yelp community caught my attention here! The outside doesn't necessarily sell what's inside. So don't stop there... go in my friends! The inside is small, quaint, clean, with a touch of elegance. White table cloths and servers dressed in black. I honestly couldn't quite tell who was the manager, host, server. They all worked together, ensuring everyone was well cared for in this 12-15 table restaurant. The immediate impression I got was Italy. I was there almost a year ago and I was taken back. Oh and the main event - the food, did its home country proud! They offer freshly made pasta with your choice of sauces and protein, along with a daily specials menu. We had an appetizer of burrata, sun dried tomatoes, and prosciutto. Divine! Then a pasta dish with sausage, off of the main menu and a chicken dish from the specials menu. Truly, delicious. The pasta was al dante and the chicken dish was beautiful and moist and amazing. We paired our dinners with a glass of house Pinot noir and moscato, very good. We finished off with affogato and cappuccinos. The affogato was the perfect blend of bitter to sweet with the espresso and ice cream. The cappuccino was oh so smooth! The foam at the top was done so well. We left feeling full but not bloated. The experience was wonderful. I would suggest not wearing jeans and sneakers here. Maybe slacks or a casual dress. If I had any kind of complaint, it was that they were out of tiramisu. My most favorite dessert. But just another reason to go back! Take someone you want to spoil, the slightly higher ticket is well worth it.
