"Down in Quincy in a new location, the Fat Cat serves a truly massive plate of mac and cheese packed full of cheddar, blue, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses, blended with garlic, tomatoes, and cavatappi, topped with bread crumbs. In case that’s not quite enough of a meal, optional add-ons include lobster, shrimp, steak, chicken, or a hot dog." - Dana Hatic

"A Quincy mainstay that was forced to shutter temporarily earlier this summer reopened in its new space last night. The Fat Cat opened its doors — again — in a newer and much more spacious location on Hancock Street, and under the stewardship of chef Bobby Sisson, who has spent time in fine-dining establishments such as Island Creek Oyster Bar, Row 34, and Sportello." - Terrence Doyle

It is a tradition for my brother and I to have a meal at The Fat Cat whenever I visit Quincy. I love their burgers and local draft beer. They moved to a new location on Hancock St.. When compared to the prior location, The Old Fat Cat had more character and an atmosphere like your friendly local pub and restaurant where you go to see buddies for some beers. This is the reason for the 3 stars rating for the atmosphere. The food and service were excellent, and good value too. We ordered the mussels with basil & coconut broth, burger, and a pastrami sandwich. I opted out of the fries for a very generous platter of Caesar salad. We washed the burger and sandwich with some IPA beers. Excellent meal with consistent quality and good service after so many years.

Leaving these type of food reviews food is always hard when the service is great. We got the Nachos with Lobster and Crab. The protein tasted as if it was fresh out of the can and not properly washed and seasoned. The avocado was hard, the cheese and chips made it feel like it had been redone after sitting out. This made us refrain from ordering an entree (we’re pescatarian) and so we got a small order of fries. Which came out super fast and worried us. We were disappointed after the very first bite. They were oily and unsalted. The cocktails on the other hand were really good. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our night. I really appreciated the way the “El Gato Grando” was made. Flavor of the alcohol isn’t drawn out of the mix and they weren’t overly sweeten. I would return for those drinks, those bartenders are good at their craft. I heard their pasta is good so I’ll definitely return to give that a shot and update my review then.

My wife and I, we go here every once and while. Usually, when she wants wings. It's the only place my wife gets them cooked the way she likes them. Me.. I think they're awesome. The drinks are great, a little on the high-priced side, but they're great. Service is usually spectacular Try them out for yourself. They won't disappoint... We found this place on google maps as we left Boston airport and headed to Cape Cod. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees Fried Pickles: hot and tasty. Onion haystack: lightly breaded and crispy. Fried Calamari: Extremely tender and served with cherry peppers. Lobster macaroni and cheese Made with an excellent 4 cheese sauce and lots of chunks of lobster meat Lobster and crab wrap This place has excellent service and ultimate attention to detail. I highly recommend it

The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious and creamy with plenty of lobster in it. The linguine Alfredo with shrimp and steak was good as was the seared pork tenderloin. Huge portions so bring your appetite. Service was good and the place was hoping.

Google
One of the pillars of Quincy center serving meals and their famous Mac and Cheese for the last time on January 10th. I always went here for their Turkey BLTA and fries which stayed good every time. You can always comfort from a hard week or day from their cozy atmosphere and yummy foods. Fat Cat, I bid you adieu.

Regret to have to write negative review of the restaurant we went to more than any others. Since 1.5 years we got take outs and dine variously times. The beginning was great both food taste and portion served. However the last 4 times things got bad. I usually order seafood pasta. One time all of the muscles were closed and not edible but it was a take out so I couldn't go back but I also didn't think that I had to check. The last time the pasta was just drowning in wet sauce and oil. This time we dined in, the food portion was still very generous but the taste was just bland and nothing stood out (burger, fish&chip, pastrami sandwich) However when the bill came we were charged with things which we weren't informed upfront. friends didn't want fries so they asked if salad can be substitute but the bill still charged a full entree price and plus half of salad's full price. They ran out of food I wanted to get so I didn't order food but told waiter i will eat some of my husband's food. They charged 4$ split fee for a dish that wasn't split on 2 separate plates (we said something and they removed the fee). Point is even though we knew that the restaurant have been having issues with quality consistency due to staffing or whatever we still gave them chance and went back but all theses extra fees which is a matter of principle to inform customers upfront is a must transparency. We can't say that we will come back again. Maybe if we need a large mac&cheese take out but other than that we will try other places.

Great experience and a great meal overall. We went on a Tuesday night and they weren't overly busy. We were seated quickly and the waitress (who was on her game the whole meal) came over right away with drinks and menus. Our order was put in just as fast and the food came out surprisingly faster. We ordered 4 burgers and the Fat Cat Mac and Cheese. The burgers were cooked perfect and actually had burger taste to them (like some guy was in the back grilling on a legit barbecue). The Mac and Cheese was huge (I NEVER take food home and there was enough left over for a second meal) and definitely worth a try. Price wise we were pleasantly surprised to see relatively cheap and reasonable prices for everything on the menu especially compared to the area. Service wise our waitress kept our waters filled the whole meal (simple yet often overlooked) and checked in a bunch to make sure we were taken care of. Additionally one of the chefs (I'm guessing) brought our food out and had the look of someone who knew how to run a good kitchen. Overall it was a great meal, with great service and was priced very reasonably. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Yelp
The new location is in Quincy but this has been a staple in my family since I was younger. I had a craving for it a few weeks ago and am glad it lived up to my memor. Great food, decent prices and consistent service!

Jimmy N.

Yelp
I used to go to FAT CAT all the time at their old location. This was my first at their new location. I can honestly say, nothing has change and I'm so happy for it haha everything was as good as before! Portion size of each meal can be served to 2-3 people. I highly recommend getting their spicy tomato mussels and lobster Mac and cheese. They do NOT skimp on the lobster meat so you pay for what you get. It was roughly $30 for the lobster Mac and cheese but I guarantee you that it will feed at least 3-4 people. Definitely also get their wings. I usually stick with hot Buffalo and honey mustard. TIP - they can do half half for you, just ask! Service was superb as always. I do not get why the reviews are so bad. If it's your first time, I highly recommend trying what I normally order and see how it is. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
Sad to see this place close its doors!!! One of my favorite restaurants enjoyed every meal

Johnny T.

Yelp
Great restaurant with great food. Been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Very sad to see it go. Hope it will come back to a new location.

J R.

Yelp
The Fat Cat Burger Is to die for.....juicy, moist, tender and a pleasure to have that for Lunch. Great location from their previous one and service is always attentive! I like the atmosphere a lot and if local easy to walk to and plenty of street parking.

Sarah M.

Yelp
This place needs to focus more on customer service than their portion sizes. A empty restaurant, wait staff was more interested in catching up. Then actually waiting tables. Save your money and skip this place.

Melody H.

Yelp
Would recommend this place if you're in the mood to just pig out on some American comfort food that seems to be never ending with the inconceivably large portions. AND if you want some delicious lobster Mac n cheese!! That's actually probably the only reason I'd come back here again. The lobster taste is so apparent, which I feel like what is often missing in other lobster Mac n cheeses. You get an incredible cheese pull with every bite, and the cheese sauce is super flavorful/well-seasoned. There's also a perfect breadcrumb topping as well. Yum!!!

Nick J.

Yelp
The nachos suck. No seasoning or flavor. Sat under a heat lamp. Small amount of toppings with poor distribution. The onion artichoke dip was genuinely bad. No flavor besides cream cheese. The salmon wrap was good if u like heavy ginger. Keep in mind it will be blackened sear but raw salmon. Turkey sandwich was good, had a tasty sauce that elevates it. The fries were also great. Restaurant is nice and waitress was helpful. Unfortunately it just felt really overpriced for what you get. If your willing to buck up for it, there's some tasty food but maybe skip the appetizers

Roni J.

Yelp
This is my son and his new wife's favorite in Quincy, and after dining there in a party of 12 after their wedding at city hall, I can see why. The menu is extensive, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and attentive. I love to cook and rarely dine out, but The Fat Cat is definitely a draw for me. Any entree or salad can easily be split for two and still leave each person sated. Forewarned about the huge portions, I shared a Caesar salad with father of the bride and had the Ahi tuna appetizer for my entree. The bride and groom each ordered the pasta fra diavolo, one of the pasta dishes they hadn't yet had, and should have split one order. A heaping platter of pasta plentifully tossed with shrimp, scallops, mussels.

Patti S.

Yelp
We found this place by accident. And I am so glad we did. We had 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. Fried calamari with cherry peppers were perfectly cooked. The lobster macaroni and cheese was delicious with a large portion. Lots of excellent cheese in its sauce.

Danielle K.

Yelp
I loved Fat Cat in their previous location, and I am still a fan. The new location is a little bit bigger, which helps because they don't take reservations. The beers on tap look to be mostly local companies, and that makes me happy: Widowmaker, Downeast, Night Shift, etc The portion of Mac and Cheese is still a ridiculous plate bigger than your head size! I get at least 3 meals out of it. Lots of tasty menu options and you really can't go wrong. My favorites are the haystacks, pulled pork sandwich, fried fish sandwich, and lobster Mac and cheese. I sat at the bar today and liked seeing the decor nod to the previous location but still be part of this newer location. I don't recommend this location to groups any larger than 4 for regular dinning. It's a popular spot and there are very few tables that allow more than 4 for seating.

Yelp
I'm writing this review in hopes that it can serve as constructive criticism for what was once a favorite restaurant. We came for dinner and ordered the fried pickles, linguine alfredo with grilled chicken and the burger (added chili on the side). The pickle chips were good, I do recommend these. They weren't as crispy as they used to be but the flavors were there. The linguine alfredo could use some work. The pasted was passed al dente, I would cook 1-2 min less. The alfredo sauce should also not have basil in it, as it messes with the flavor profile of what an alfredo should be. Overall, it lacked the garlic flavor and definitely needed salt. (More on this later). The grilled chicken was very chewy, as it in was gummy enough to stick to your teeth. I believe this to be a quality issue of a chicken that was likely injected with lots of growth hormones, as it was neither over nor undercooked. It also lacked any sort of flavor, please please please season you meats before cooking them (salt and pepper, don't be afraid!). The burger had the same issue. Overall it was cooked well but really lacked any sort of flavor. The patty should always be seasoned before grilling. The rest of the ingredients were fresh but unfortunately the lack of salt resulted in lack of flavor. The fries were good. We also ordered chili on the side and it also lacked flavor. All of the ingredients were there, but it needed more seasoning. I understand the namesake of The Fat Cat and it being indicative of its massive portions, I just hope that they can focus more on quality rather than size and come back to being the great restaurant that it used to be.

Yelp
My wife and I visited the Fat Cat today late afternoon with the intention of having a few drinks and early dinner. We sat at the bar and waited in excess of ten plus minutes before we were greeted/ engaged by the bartender who was walking in circle clueless . l asked for a cold glass with my beer and was told that they don't have cold glasses? Bartending 101, ice and cold water in a pint glass will amazingly produce a cold glass In less than a minute. We asked for menus, and because of where we were sitting at the bar there were no overhead lights ( all / several) of the bulbs were burnt out) ??? Changing light bulbs is simple routine maintenance. ??? We engaged our cellphone flashlights to read the menu??? We finished our drinks and left. Why would I want to stay and eat in the dark / by flashlight with a bartender who didn't have a clue. We would highly recommend you avoid the disaster called The Fat Cat.

Mindy Z.

Yelp
I came here twice recently. The first time my friend and I got a scallop dish and a lobster salad wrap. We were not too impressed with the wrap and scallop dish. There wasn't much flavor but the fries that came with it were good and savory. They are really generous with the portion size for the fries. The second time I felt like the dishes were better. I got seafood pasta and fish and chips. The seafood pasta was decent with a mix of mussels, shrimp, and other seafood. It was good but a bit oily. The fish and chips were alright. The texture was very fried. The tartar sauce and Cole slaw definitely made it taste a lot better. Customer service was excellent. Our server checked on us occasionally and we got seating quickly. Both times were weekday nights without much people. Inside is orange and black with your typical booth seats and wooden chairs and seats in an American bar. It's a rather cool aesthetic and homely.

Rich L.

Yelp
Life is short F....it up! Family Friends Flavor. This will be a 2 part review to be fair. As you know I'm always looking for a great burger. The fat cat burger was good and cooked as ordered but it didn't have that hmmmmm factor. ( Average). This was the same for the crab cake. Part 2 is for the loaded Mac and cheese which I give 5 stars. Savory flavorful and big and taste even better the next few days.

Kimberly N.

Yelp
This used to be my go-to spot for dinner because of the huge portion sizes. I haven't been back since they relocated, but based on recent pictures, it looks like the portion size is still the same (cannot say the same about prices, but that is the case everywhere). The lobster mac and cheese is my favorite. It is very cheesy with a good amount of lobster and also tastes great reheated the next day. I also had the Thai coconut mussels one time, which was also portioned well and tasty.

Emma T.

Yelp
I like their Mac and cheese a lot! It came out super hot/warm which I love. It's a casual bar atmosphere with fun decor. Parking on the street isn't easy, but there's a parking garage about a 3 minute walk away that is $1/hr for the first 6hrs

Alee L.

Yelp
It's been many many many moons since I've been here. I've had their lobster Mac and Cheese and what I remembered was it was one of the best Mac and Cheese I've had. I didn't get the Mac and Cheese and opted to try the burger. The burger is bland so it was disappointing. The garlic parm fries are fantastic though. The fried pickles are one of the best fried pickles I had. They are crispy, however they are overly seasoned, which made it super salty. It comes with a Cajun Remoulade sauce so if you dip the pickles in the sauce it makes it way too salty for my taste. I think there needs to be balance by lightly seasoning the pickles and the sauce is fine as is. As for service, it was slow. My burger took about 30 mins to come out. Not sure if they are under staffed, but good thing there was an app s d my friend to help the time pass till the food came out.

Emma T.

Yelp
I honestly was going to give this 4 stars. I mean good food and atmosphere. But it gets a fifth star for GF accommodations. I came here for dinner with my boyfriend (Gluten free), and it's the only place he can get delicious fish and chips. We split the special chorizo chip dip which was phenomenal. I got the fra diavlo, which was good but. Little too spiced for my personal tasge, but great flavor. And obviously the man's for fish and chips, which he and I both loved. All in all fun bar, great staff, and awesome accommodations. We'll definitely be returning here!

Ben D.

Yelp
A great restaurant with a hometown charm. The staff was always friendly and we've made a few friends with them. The wings are great especially the pineapple habenro sauce. The cod chowder is excellent and the macaroni cheese is legendary in proportions.

Ronaldo P.

Yelp
Great food great price nice service! Lobster and crab quesadilla never had one! Would recommend

Mikayla R.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Quincy! Their burgers and Mac and cheese are to die for.

Bob L.

Yelp
TL;DR - The Mac and Cheese is a MUST HAVE when you visit. Nachos were decent, salad was a bit over dressed (I'd ask for it on the side). Great prices! This was my first time visiting this place since they moved and while I understand the other reviewers mentioning the change in the vibe from the last place what's very important to me is that the food is good (also more seats means less waiting which is nice!). We came at around 5pm on a Friday and there was plenty of seating available. Items we ordered (as of 6/2022). - Nachos (Traditional) - $12 - Really hits the spot and the amount you get is easily enough for 3 people. While the flavor was perfectly fine my personal recommendation to the restaurant? Add some shredded lettuce or guacamole to give it some more color for a nicer presentation. - Shuttle Salad - $10 - Good amount especially for the price. If you love balsamic vinaigrette and goats cheese then definitely get this. They went a bit overboard with the dressing though so to combat this I'd ask for dressing on the side! - Lobster Mac and Cheese - $31 - Ahhh the classic. I've gotten both this and the pulled pork mac and cheese in the past and they're both great (The pulled pork gives the overall dish a sweeter flavor which I like but others maybe not so much). You can see chunks of lobster in it and the garlic flavor they add is FANTASTIC (be warned to not kiss anyone after though). Easily enough for 2 or even 3 meals! Definitely a must get when you come here. Overall for the price you pay this place is still a gem for me and I will always come back if I'm craving some mac and cheese!

Marc L.

Yelp
Removing yet another star as I've now found a TON of Quincy places that have food at least as good as even the old Fat Cat. Try Alba, Assembly, Pearl and Lime, and Idle Hour. Especially Assembly has better food and their local beer menu rotates more often and is significantly more extensive. Plus, no rude male bartenders and unhelpful hostesses.

Virginia A.

Yelp
The food was great! Had calamari and Parmesan fries as app. Very tasty! Had the dry rubbed ribs with mashed potato substitute, both were delicious and well seasoned seasoned. Wait staff were very accommodating, gave us plenty of time to decide on our order. Will definitely go back!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Ughh I am disappointed to report this new location feels like a downgrade from the previous location. Although the new location has more space, the old location had more charm and character. It just doesn't have the same vibe as it used to. The food however, remains pretty decent! My friend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and split the buffalo chicken nachos, Q city wings and a half order of the mac & cheese. A full order is I swear at least 1 box of pasta, if not more! It's absolutely huge so we asked for a half order, even though it's not noted on the menu. This place is known for their mac & cheese which I think is good but not great. I wish they used a smaller pasta than cavatappi. The texture is more on the "watery" side of creamy but the flavor is on point! Nachos were piled high with ample toppings. The wings were crispy and had a nice subtle flavor. Overall I left feeling satisfied but I will miss the old location.

Samantha A.

Yelp
Sad to hear that they closed. This was a family favorite when they were at the old location - generous and delicious mac and cheese with a variety of add-ins (hot dog, chicken, lobster) and the best fried pickles I've had. Tried the new place once, but it didn't have the same ambiance. I hope they will regroup and return to their old location as supposedly they had planned to! If they do, we will be back!

Rahul R.

Yelp
We've frequented this place quite a bit, both as dine in and takeout. The food and drink options are plentiful as you'd expect, but what really hits the home run is the mac and cheese. The combination of the garlic roux, cheese, and marinated tomatoes (who would have thought!) consistently delivers. Not to mention, their portion sizes are huge. Only minor gripe is the price. Seems a bit high considering Quincy isn't Boston.

Ed M.

Yelp
I had been waiting to get this restaurant since November! Finally able to make it on Thursday night. First off, it is on Hancock St, Quincy, which has a bunch of parking both in front and behind, but on this night, it was cold and windy and parking was an issue. We finally got a spot and made our way in! First impression was not great. The restaurant is kind of spread to wide. There are high tops and a bar as soon as your enter. TV playing and groups of people sitting around enjoying the atmosphere. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with a comfy both. We were immediately addressed by a fantastic young lady who was going to be our waitress. We ordered drinks and reviewed the menu. We ordered some onion rings for an app and they were out of this world. We had enough for 4 people....a huge plate with delicious "string-like" rings...great start! We then ordered our main dish. I had a burger and my friend ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. Both were delivered by the owner when done. It was a nice treat! The food was awesome. My burger was big and cooked perfectly. Plenty of french-fries which were hot and tasted great. The wrap was perfect, as well with a side salad which was fresh and a perfect size! Our waitress was very attentetive and around the right amount of time. The one issue was that I love ketchup and I didn't feel like I got enough for the burger and fries but that was not a deal breaker! I rate this place a 5....I will definitely be back in the summer to see if the vibe is different. The food was great and the owner seems like a great guy! Like I say when I first visit a restaurant, "don't judge a book by its cover"

Kristen K.

Yelp
2.5 stars - Heard a lot about this place from several different people so had to make a stop when we were in the area. Portion sizes are definitely huge! Everything on the menu could be at least two good-sized meals, so prepare to have leftovers :) The food itself was okay - we decided to split the lobster macaroni and cheese and were told that splitting the meal would incur another $4 charge if we didn't get anything else, so we got a half shuttle salad for $5. The salad itself was fine, though we didn't have much of it since there was so much macaroni. The lobster macaroni and cheese itself had large chunks of lobster in it but seemed kind of watery. Our friend got the lobster and crab salad wrap and said it seemed kind of dry and bland; she expected there to be some mayo or something. There was a good amount of meat in the wrap though. Service was overall fine. Our waiter had the mac and cheese split on two dishes to make it easier to eat but also did forget to put our drink order in. We did also get a snarky remark from the person bringing out our food about splitting our meal which caught us off guard a bit.

Steven T.

Yelp
Food was tasty. I enjoyed the calamari, crabcake, and brisket. It isn't high end food but it is a decent comfort bar food. Service was ok. I am more of a chill and relax guy so if the waiter isn't super nice and constantly on me that's completely ok. In this case, the waiter was polite and nice. Ambiance is ok as well. Being in a bar, it was a bit dark with plenty of tv's. This is ok for laying back and relaxing. EDIT: Had to remove a star because I realized they took more money than I wrote on the receipt. The bill was around $90, I wrote a $20 tip so the total should've been $110. Statement states $120. However, I tossed the receipt so ignore this review if you want.

Aaron B.

Yelp
If you love American food and servings that are too big than this is your place. I recommend the lobster Mac and cheese.

Nicole A.

Yelp
I was in shock when I saw this restaurant didn't have a 5 star as The fat cat is great, the food is AMAZING, prices are affordable, the staff very friendly, the amount of food they bring compared to the price is super cheap, literally one plate can eat 2 people, super tasty. I loved it.

Rochelle D.

Yelp
Your entire party must be present to be seated but the wait is worth the food. Portions are generous. The service is always good too.

Soneila M.

Yelp
Love the Mac & cheese bbq pulled pork it was very good definitely recommend it to everyone and the drink was ver good too

Daniel L.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. The manager was rude, unpleasant and not helpful. I would find someplace else to eat.

Tod P.

Yelp
Save your money go to Applebee's you'll get better service and better food. Was excited to go here for a long time it took even longer to get my food which was like eating at a hospital cafeteria. I think a hospital cafeteria has better food. Crab cakes was burnt tasted like a frozen dinner from dollar tree. Chili was a tragedy. Burgers had no taste and fries were greasy overcooked smelly disappointment . Usually it's pretty hard to screw up chicken wings but they did a good job of it. Wings were hot but the buffalo sauce and the sesame sauce was cold absolutely horrible.

Dr. Michelle M.

Yelp
Rude and racist! I arrived at Fat Cat at 4:30 PM today for a birthday dinner. They have a policy, you can't be seated until the entire party is in. I had a party of 2. I asked if I could respectfully receive an accommodation, since I'm injured. I have a leg brace so my friend dropped me off at the door. The host was so rude and disrespectful to me I left. I don't recommend this restaurant if you have a disability and a person of color. Never again. CC

Tiffany L.

Yelp
First off, the macaroni and cheese definitely lives up to the hype. We did take out and placed an order by phone (the person who took our order was super sweet and checked to make sure the lobster and crab salad wrap didn't have fish since we have an allergy). The portion of the macaroni and cheese is HUGE. It is surprisingly heavy too! One order of macaroni and cheese lasted me for 3.5 meals, I kid you not. It's super tasty and I love the parmesan cheese and ginger and tomato mixed in. We got one plain and one with fried chicken, and next time I will definitely be trying the lobster. We also ordered calamari as an appetizer (not a huge fan of the olives--kind of a weird combo) and fish and chips. These were pretty tasty but again--I have to highly recommend the macaroni and cheese!

Karen B.

Yelp
This spot moved to a new location. Now on hancock st across from alba in quincy. I use to go here many times but definitely less and less over the years due to seating policy (I will elaborate later) Food: decent american food. Offer fries with lots of flavors. Best meal is lobster mac and cheese. Other dishes are so so. The mac and cheese is more on the liquid-y side. If you're looking for the southern style with a crispy crust chunk of mac and cheese, this is not the place. Parking: none. All street so plan accordingly. Service: always had decent to good service here What's most annoying is their seating policy. They do not take reservations and will not seat you until all of your party is present. They currently don't even have a bar for you to sit at to wait. Even if you want to get seated and order dinner first you can not.

Christine M.

Yelp
Calamari was awful Tasteless chili Pork nachos were not good Will not be back Don't recommend

Jillian C.

Yelp
Waitress was so sweet, service was good& food was good. Got the burger it was good & the calamari was good too

Sunny T.

Yelp
We went there with a birthday party The Mussels and Onion rings were really good. We got the tomato spicy and very liked it. We ordered Tuna Steak, chicken wings, 3 NY strip and How Smoked Brisket. The food was yum!!! It was just my NY strip that I requested medium rare but the kitchen made it medium well so I have to ask them to remake it for me. I felt bad for them but I just wanted to taste the exact medium rare from Ny strip because it wkll be juicy and tasty when it's made medium rare. Andrew was our server. He was extremely nice. His kindness made me to drop my reviews here He deserves it. Other staff were super nice too. From the host and the server and the chef. Omg very professional and polite!!!! The 1 star that I took off was because of "my picky" However, I want to give it 4.5 stars but I couldn't on Yelp Thank you for your service

Yelp
Food was really good, I got their Alfredo and tried one of their signature cocktails the "Jolly Cat". It took a little while to be seated because all of the tables were full but we stood at the bar until it was ready and were able to grab drinks. The food is a bit pricier but huge portions and overall pretty good experience and our waitress was really nice! I'd say it's my new favorite restaurant and will definitely be coming again!

Yelp
Hands down one of the BEST Mac & Cheese dishes around. We had the Buffalo Chicken version and it was to die for. The portion size is huge! You will certainly have leftovers. We also had the Sesame bone-in wings which were delicious. Friendly service. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Went on a rainy Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. Went with the calamari for the app and it was a great portion for two-three people def recommend. I also really enjoyed the spicy fried pieces and the olives. The dipping sauce was great. As for the entree, I went with the lobster mac and my friend went for the Buffalo chicken mac. HUGE portions and I was not disappointed! I had great pieces of lobster in mine and it was very garlic-y which made it even tastier. I recommend if you're ever in Quincy or passing through. I've only heard great things about this place so check it out when you can :))

Yelp
I really love this new location. The food is very consistent and the restaurant is bigger so they don't have that crazy line anymore. The food is so delicious but be warned, the calories are probably off the charts. We share a crispy chicken Mac and cheese, garlic parm fries, hot wings and always have two FULL containers to take home at the end of the meal. Just to let you know, their containers are as big as dinner plates. You definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality of food. The staff has always been kind to us and courteous.

Yelp
I felt compelled to write a review for this place after I had their lobster Mac & cheese last night. We used to frequent this place when we lived in Quincy, but it's been a few years since we've moved. Yesterday, we went over a friends house who had a spread of wings and pasta take-out from Fat Cat. The wings were OK (hence the 4 star instead of 5), but the Lobster Mac & Cheese ... phenomenal. Mind you, this was takeout and we were late, but still the lobster Mac & cheese was still delish. Flavorful and garlic-y! Yummm who doesn't love garlic. If you don't like garlic, you don't deserve to go on yelp. Just kidding. But yeah try the lobster mac & cheese.

Yelp
*UPDATED REVIEW* I ordered take out this time; it took 15 minutes to get connected to the host as their phone line was busy. When I finally got ahold of someone, I was informed they had a limited menu due to COVID. The limited menu was not posted on their website, instead on their Facebook page. We settled for the blacked chicken pasta (penne, romaine, caesar dressing cream sauce, parmesan) for $16 and hanger steak (fries, seasonal vegetable) for $26. - Blacked Chicken Pasta: large portion, though, very bland - Hanger Steak: very dry and lacked seasoning

Yelp
Good food, but the worst service ever. I have never not been here and had some issue with their service or hostesses. Piss poor. If their chicken tenders weren't amazing I would not come here. It's like they hire from Reject U.
