"After 12 years at 24 Chestnut St., the restaurant is relocating to a newer, larger space at 1495 Hancock St. due to growing building issues—such as a nonfunctional draft beer system and no air conditioning—and because the current building is reportedly slated for demolition. The new site, which previously housed the Iron Furnace, the Stadium, and the original Alba Restaurant (now at 1486 Hancock St.), will allow for expanded offerings; the owners expect to reopen in mid-August with new drinks and menu items. Known for comfort-food staples like lobster mac and cheese and hot wings, the kitchen will be overseen by Bobby Sisson, a veteran of Island Creek Oyster Bar, Row 34, and Sportello." - Terrence Doyle
