The best part of this restaurant is definitely its vibe and ambiance; it was very cozy and inviting. The food was decent overall. We ordered the meatballs, potato gratin, beet salad, and chicken skewers. The standout dish was the chicken skewers; they were incredibly flavorful. The potato gratin was quite spicy, not in terms of heat, but it had a strong mix of spices that might not be for everyone.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I booked a friend's outing here and loved the vibe as we entered the cozy place. The drinks were so very refreshing and perfect. I had a gin cocktail and it was awesome. We had a few small plates starting from brussel sprouts, trout, calamari, chicken kabab and some entree plates like salmon, risotto and so on. The pot du creme dessert was absolutely mind-blowingly yum! Each dish was delicious and they definitely over delivered in every aspect. The service staff were courteous and kind. We reordered a few plates that were too delicious to pass. It's a great place, with a cozy vibe, friendly staff and yummulicioius food. Must visit.

I arrived at around 3:15 p.m., which turned out to be the early part of their happy hour. While the exterior decor was inviting, as soon as I chose my spot (a table outside that seated 3, all the way in the back of this exterior area), I was told that if another party showed up, and wanted my spot, I'd be asked to move so I went ahead and chose another table before I sat. That was the first disappointment. Second, I wanted a non alcoholic beverage. I originally asked for iced tea & that was not available. As there were only a few non alcoholic drinks on the menu to choose from, I picked the spritz. It tasted like Sprite had been poured into Hawaiian Punch with a rosemary sprig added for ?? appearance, maybe. I was served maybe 6 oz of beverage, with a $12 price tag. At this time of day, they only had bar snacks available, as the "regular menu" isn't available til 7pm. I chose from what was available (no food prices were listed on the menu), but I was hungry and had to stay close by so, I chose the Brussel sprouts (a vegetable I love) which the waitress informed me it would have bacon pieces in the dish. The dish looked lovely. However, there was an odd sweetness to the brussels. It was as though they were cooked with a very sweet wine. I was hungry and short on time, so I ate as much as I could tolerate while washing it down with water and my overpriced fruit punch. After finishing what I was willing to consume, I used the restroom inside. The inside of the restaurant was very upscale and a polar opposite from the exterior seating area. Also, the women's restroom had framed photos hanging in the bathroom stalls. Very interesting experience. My total bill, after tip, was $29. The food and drink offered definitely fell very short of my expectations. I doubt I'll return.

Such a cute first date spot! Love the indoor and outdoor space and the food! It was chilly but we kept warm with their cozy blankets. Great drinks. Got the old fashioned and was splendid. Looking forward to going back!

Google
Flytrap's been my SF favorite since '98, and with me living in SOMA the past 4 years, this is like my second home.  Excellent service, awesome drinks selection, and delicious food, too. What makes it is the people: Valen, Jamie, Shannon, and Lauren all feel like family plus all the locals that come here. Hard to believe it's been here 140 years. I love the little historical touches and the fact they have 1970s Looney Tunes water glasses. If you are looking for character, friendly faces, and a welcoming vibe, this is the place. Below are some photos from my last visit. We had a bottle of the Heritage pinot noir from willamette valley and tried the Dracula’s blood cocktail which is balance of bourbon and sweetness of blackberries. For food, I would recommend the calamari or ribeye but have tried most of the food and it's great. If you read this review and come in and see a guy with a phish the band hat at the bar say hi.

I dropped for a quick bite and drink. I really enjoyed the baked goat cheese and the ribeye. Overall good service, good food, and nice atmosphere.

Google
The Fly Trap in San Francisco is a place with a nice atmosphere, though it is indeed quite small, which can make it feel a bit cramped. As for the food, it's decent, but perhaps best described as normal or average – not particularly outstanding, but not bad either. It's a place that seems to rely more on its established name and cozy, albeit tiny, setting than on its culinary offerings. If you go, manage your expectations regarding the food and be prepared for a snug dining space.

Google
Great ambiance and drinks, but very average food. 3 stars for the food. We tried five appetizers and none of them was great. The fried sprouts were way too oily and didn’t like the sweetness. The cauliflower & lentils, baked goat cheese, and citrus salad was either underwhelming or average. The best was prob the fried calamari because it wasn’t too oily. Would come back for the vibe but not the food unfortunately

Yelp
The Fly Trap was just down the hill on Folsom, right around the corner deom our hotel, so one night, we decided to have dinner there. The ambience was beautiful. Low soft lightning, warm and cozy on a chilly evening in San Francisco. We were seated, inmediately and looked over the menu. My husband was feeling a little ill, so he wasnt able to eat much, I had their steak, and it was delicious. The veggies that came with it were the perfect accomplishment. The sauce was amazing! The service was attentive and friendly. We will be back when next we are in town.

Yelp
Cool spot right around the corner from the office, how have I never been here before? Pretty good conversation and pretty cool ambiance. Some of my colleagues and I went here for a couple drinks, pretty good cocktails! I had a Dracula's Blood and one of the Passionfruit Margaritas. Not bad for a few drinks, but not a place to get totally wasted at. Just an fyi. Didn't try the food though or HH food.

Vicki A.

Yelp
First time diner here. Love the history of this 140 year old restaurant, cute interiors, cocktails were great, service was friendly, but the food could be better. Came here for a birthday dinner and ordered Brussels sprouts and calamari for starters, then shared the shrimp risotto and grilled medium rare rib eye steak with potato gratin with my husband. The Brussels sprouts were burnt, giving it a bitter flavor. The risotto was creamy and shrimp cooked well (just be careful eating it as it's piping hot) but that was definitely NOT a rib eye steak, more likely a skirt steak as it was so darn tough to chew. It wasn't cooked medium rare either. Everyone who ordered it at the table agreed. The accompanying potatoes had a strange flavor from the yellow spice (was it turmeric?) and no cream for a gratin. They treated the birthday celebrator with a complimentary bread pudding, which was a thoughtful touch. In a city with so many good restaurants, it's hard to mess up a classic steak dinner. I feel The Fly Trap could improve their dinner entrees, especially with so few large plates.

Diana G.

Yelp
Had happy hour here today service was great ordered a few items all very good, fried Brussels sprouts, beets salad, chicken wings and calamari. They let us order chicken skewers from the main menu too, even though the kitchen wasn't fully up yet. Place is pretty well lit. Good music but still able to carry conversation with my friends.

Ekaterina T.

Yelp
It's the worst restaurant in the area. Not coming back here. At some point, the waiter kicked us out and kept rushing us (group of 5). Food is average. At the end, she asked us/you know tips are not included - hint - don't forget to add them... But even that is not the problem. RATS running on the patio are not fun! I understand it's SF, but fix the goddamn problem!

Sheree W.

Yelp
Recommended by a hotel bartender near by, and rightfully so. Loved this quaint restaurant. The server said the menu is American with an Italian flair and she was pretty accurate. Menu offers something for everyone and not overly complex. Brussels were 10/10 Burger (a customer favorite) 10/10 Hummus 9/10 Fries 10/10 Bread Pudding 10/10 Yep - everything was really good and fresh. Service just added to the experience. They do play music with good playlist, and not overly loud so you can hear your company. This is a must go.

Yelp
LOVED our visit to Fly Trap after a recent Giants game: a delight to the eyes and the palate! Thanks to my buddy, Paolo B, for the rec! Fly Trap is a short walk from the ballpark and diagonally across from the parking garage we used (303 2nd St Garage / 582 Harrison St). We arrived just before the dinner rush and entered through the charming alley entrance (think: exposed brick walls, hanging plants, string lights, colorful art (including retro Gumby and Pokey figurines!))...felt like Alice in Wonderland! The antique-but-make-it-modern-and-hip decor continues inside (check out the wallpaper art!). Our server offered spot-on recommendations: -Roasted Beets: chickpeas, pickled onion, mint, bread crumbs, goat cheese, pomegranate vinaigrette *YES to this flavor combo! Pickled onions and fresh mint for the win! -Mixed Greens: red onion, almonds, blue cheese, stone fruit vinaigrette *Vibrant, fresh, flavorful! -Fly Trap Cheeseburger: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, aioli, french fries - ADD bacon & avocado! *Solid, classic burger with winning, medium-thick fries with that perfect soft interior and extra crispy exterior! To drink: -Hani's Inferno: tequila, campari, velvet falernum, habanero, grapefruit *Citrus and spice and everything nice! -Herbie Sanchez: mezcal, amaro, citrus, tangerine, smoke *My guy enjoyed this. How cool that The Fly Trap started in 1883 and has evolved over the years?! This was our first visit and won't be our last! We look forward to returning and trying more of their gastropub fare and creative cocktails. Cheers!

Yelp
Came across this place on the way home from work one day, i gotta say yhe french fries and brussel sprouts here are really good, and so are the drinks! The burger was good but it was so juicy the bottom bun was half mush when i got it. The waitress was super nice and accomidating with the limitations where i can sit. Overall its great and i cant wait to come back with my fiancee!

Yelp
For a restaurant touting over 100 years of service, one definitely wouldn't expect subpar food. Though not exceptional good, The Fly Trap with its prime location in FiDi is a great spot for impromptu company dinners or happy hour drinks. My team came here to celebrate the commencement of our semiannual planning. It took quite a while for us to place our orders; in fact, our sister team finished their meals before our waitress took our orders. We had a few small dishes to share, namely, the calamari and roasted beets which were all pretty good but hard to mess up. I had the grilled salmon as a main which left no lasting impressions and was far from noteworthy. It was nice of them to comp our desserts, the reason for my extra star. In sum, the Flytrap is decent not spectacular but if you're seeking a gastronomic paradise at a company dinner, then I really don't know what to tell you.

Rose C.

Yelp
Pretty good! Highly recommend the gnocchi and Brussels sprouts. For desserts, would recommend bread pudding and cheesecake. Bread pudding was warm and the ice cream on top made it sooo delicious.

Paolo B.

Yelp
For my girlfriend and I, this is one of our favorites bars in the city. We have been here on multiple occasions when visiting this area before a show at the Independent or as a pregame for dinner. Honestly what keeps us coming back is the affordable drinks and the shot add-on special for $6. We love espelon tequila, so when we got a chance to add on for only $6, it's too good of a deal to pass up. They also serve our favorite hard seltzer, the topo Chico strawberry guava in the glass bottles. When pregamming on a budget is the goal, fly trap is where we go. We recently tried their wings, and they were really tasty. Not the biggest wings, but the flavor is all there. I've seen some of their food come out of the kitchen, and it all looks real tasty. Definitely a great spot for bites and drinks. It's quaint and cozy, has a pool table in the back, and the bartenders here are some of the nicest people. They also got hella TVs so watching multiple games here is the cherry on top. We will definitely be back for sure

John I.

Yelp
This place is a gem! We've been twice and never had anything we didn't love. All the appetizers are awesome, cocktails are excellent. Bartenders Shannon and Vayln are A+... Prices are very fair, signature cocktails are $14-$15 which are easily $18 at places like this. The food and drink menu is seasonal, can't wait to go back for the fall selection

Sami C.

Yelp
There's not enough good things to say about The Fly Trap! We came here for the first time after an afternoon of ice skating. We started with some drinks and appetizers, the drinks were amazing and the brussels sprouts were so good we got 3 orders of them. All of the main dishes were fantastic, everyone in our 7 person party LOVED their food. To top it all off, the atmosphere and energy inside the restaurant is top notch. The servers were great and the owner was so fun and nice to talk to. We will definitely be back during our next trip to the city!

Yelp
Dining spot with unique decor and personality. Feels like you are inside a rustic alleyway with brick walls and plants hanging from the ceiling. There's eclectic art all around. Food and service was great. Can get cold if you sit outside, but there are some powerful heaters at each table. Had to switch it off occasionally because it got too hot. Grilled ribeye: 8/10 Steak was very juicy and flavorful. On the tougher side. Came with soft potatoes and carrots. Baked brie: 8/10 Warm and creamy cheese dip. Great with the toasted bread but also served as a repurposed dip for our other dish's potatoes and carrots. Tiramisu: 7/10 Nice presentation with flower petals and mint leaf. Cake was soaked in a rich creamy coffee flavor. Did taste pretty sweet. Overall a fun restaurant. Would recommend for the vibes.

Yelp
I was looking for someone place close and near by to grab a bite to eat. I came upon this place but they were close for Sunday. So glad I came back. It was plenty of seats when I entered but because lively during te course of the night. The decor was eclectic yet old school Havana. The menu has enough variety for everyone, my waitress Tricia was just amazing and friendly. The runners were so helpful, they even packed my food up for me, which was a nice touch as most restaurants just been you the boxes to do yourself. Tricia offered great recommendations. The portions are big enough that you will definitely take a too go plate. I ordered a glass of wine. Green salad with blue cheese, almonds, onions and a delicious vinaigrette. The chicken skewers were delicious and to die for they were so tender. I had the ribeye, I ordered it rare but it came out cold. As you can see the butter didn't even melt so it must have just been sitting there. Potato's were delicious. Carrots I could have done without. Ended my evening with a cocktail named the tongue teaser substitute with Vodka and the bread pudding that came out so warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was so good. I'm thinking of coming back for a second night.

Sahar N.

Yelp
Loved the look and feel of this spot. The entrance aesthetics give off a European vibe and the inside is cozy and elegant. They have a handful of great cocktail options with food to pair. A little steep on prices but what you expect for a spot that doesn't do Happy Hour. No suggestive for a large group, but accommodates decent size parties with their high top tables and a few large half booths.

Deb G.

Yelp
The place is super cute. Love the outdoor space along side of building and each table has its own heat lamp. The risotto was tasty and paired it with Pinot Noir, yum. The arancinis weren't that good, only ate 1, left 2. Service was OK. My server was nice but never once asked how anything was, especially since she picked my order and saw food left on plate.

Becky L.

Yelp
Great happy hour bites from 3-5pm. The atmosphere is lovely, there's an outside and indoor space with great decor. My only concern was that there seemed to only be one waitress, she was very sweet but we waited a long while to pay and you could tell she was very busy. To the management: hire more servers please!

Rebecca C.

Yelp
This place is so cute. I sat in the little patio that is in an alleyway and they had plenty of heaters so it was nice and cozy even with the SF wind. The food was great, with the bread pudding being a highlight. The drinks were strong and well-made, and the staff were super welcoming. I'm glad I finally made it to the Fly Trap. I'll definitely be back!

Kendra B.

Yelp
Cute little spot for friends, date night, or a small group. I enjoy ordering a few small plates and sharing while sipping on the watermelon margarita. Service was okay. The food is good. The baked goat cheese is a must!

Elisa K.

Yelp
They have a good happy hour! We got the Watermelon Margarita and Wet Whistle with Fried Calamari and everything was good. The calamari was crispy and hot. The Watermelon Margarita was definitely our favorite. The place is well decorated and has a great ambiance. The outside is pretty. If it weren't sprinkling, it would've been the perfect place for happy hour. The servers are great and nice.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! Such a fun spot for a dinner / drink with friends. This spot is truly versatile. They offer a classic all-American meal. I got the salmon and it was cooked to perfection! Also, this is the perfect date night spot for 2 in the outdoor patio area!

Fred L.

Yelp
Connected with a few colleagues for dinner here and it was the first time for all of us. The inside of the restaurant has a very comfortable feeling and the staff was really great and took fantastic care of us throughout our time there. The only issue for me was the food. The brussel sprouts tasted burnt. Now the menu does say "Fried Brussel Sprouts" but I was not expecting burnt. The chicken skewer was a little tasteless. And my grilled ribeye was one of the most paper thin ribeyes that I have ever had put before me. They should just call it skirt steak. Along with it came some flavor-less potatoes and carrots. Dessert saved the day because the bread pudding was awesome. So the big takeaway is the staff is 5 stars and the food is 2. Overall, there are so many other great restaurants in the area hard pressed to recommend this spot or give it a 2nd chance.

Antoinette C.

Yelp
Had the mushroom soup which was so decadent, crisp apple cider and a super tasty burger with fresh fresh fries. Service is pleasant and on point and even the busser engaged and suggested dessert. Such a lovely little place. Definitely recommend a visit.

Min Z.

Yelp
I had great food at Fly Trap last time I visited. I had such fond memories that it was a must visit for me this time. Unfortunately the food changed, maybe the owner changed as well. We had Mediterranean food last time, and now American food was on the menu. To make matters worse, only the brunch menu was available, so our choices were limited. The service and food were mediocre. We ordered: 3*Roasted Beets salad included chickpeas, pickled onion, mint, bread crumbs, goat cheese, and pomegranate vinaigrette:standard. 3*Baked Goat Cheese pesto, sun-dried tomato, pine nuts, crostini: a bit salty 3*Grilled Chicken Sandwich lettuce, tomato, onion, swiss cheese, thousand island, mixed greens bacon: per normal 3*Fly Trap Cheese Burger french fries, bacon: juicy and good

Rachael C.

Yelp
Good service, food and on the way to the venue we were headed to. Happy hour was going on in the bar area and the place is pretty small so it was a bit loud but...nice vibe, friendly service.

Jordan G.

Yelp
The ambiance is nice but the food was lame. Nothing Bomb Ass about the impossible burger. Tasted like something I'd get at a ball park.

Hina M.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant and also one of the oldest restaurants in the city. I came here with my mom a few days back for dinner on a Friday night. I really do like the vibe of the restaurant, it's very laid back and super chill. The food here is great honestly. We ordered the baked goat cheese and it was so delicious. The whole favour profile of the cheese with sun dried tomatoes and pesto tasted out of the world. For the main dish we got ourselves a 1/2 roasted chicken. The tender was tender and the juicy, perfectly cooked. I absolutely loved the mushroom sauce on top of the chicken and the potatoes. The meal was so flavourful and delicious. For drinks I got their Bellini, their Bellini was really nice. One advice would be to work on their cocktail menu since it has very limited drinks. We got a warm bread pudding for the dessert which was above average but nothing great. Overall, I loved having dinner here and would come back for the food again.

Jessie H.

Yelp
Decent food with a cute little alley way for seating. A good neighborhood staple but I doubt I will return for a second round. It was a basic place for food otherwise.

Jeff T.

Yelp
I booked a team dinner for a large group this week, and had the worst SF food experience I can remember. One very nice server, covering our tables, plus two other tables of 10, and maybe other tables. It took 30 minutes for drinks, 10 minutes to get more water, and after 2 hours, we still did not have dinner. For me the bigger issues were serving brussel sprouts without telling the vegetarians that there is bacon in them. I ordered a steak, and was told I could not order rare, all come medium. I wish that was true, mine was past well done, very dry and tough to chew, one of the worst steaks I have ever had. (think school food) Overall, expensive, and not at all worth the visit. The room also did not have walls, and only beads hanging on two sides, so incredibly loud too. Cocktails were good, I will concede that.

Amanda P.

Yelp
Great service, lovely employees, good ass food! Drinks never miss and I never have to wait. Love them!

Suteekshan B.

Yelp
Went on a Friday evening for a drink and dinner. They have outdoor seating but I can see why it's difficult to get a table outside. Really cute restaurant, topped by good food and drinks. We ordered a hazy ipa(on tap) and a cocktail (tongue teaser). Both were really good. For the food, we went with smoked trout, baked goat cheese, gnocchi and tiramisu. Smoked trout - well seasoned, citrusy cucumber linguini, smoky fish. Really refreshing. Baked goat cheese - super delicious. Gnocchi - soft and creamy. Nicely seasoned. Tiramisu - was average. Would not recommend if you are very particular about your tiramisu

Ian C.

Yelp
The Fly Trap is an OK restaurant, but there are much better out there. The drinks are pretty good, and the food is not bad, but the proportion of meat vs sides is a bit off. Ordered: * Roasted BBQ Pork Ribs * House Made Gnocchi * Rigatoni * Risotto * Fried Brussels * Fried Calamari * Hani's Inferno * Spa H20 Food: 3/5 Food was OK. The appetizers were amazing, and the food tasted fine, but while you get full afterwards, it doesn't leave you very satisfied. Most of the food offered by the restaurant are pastas or heavy in carbs, and the ribs came with so much pash potatos, while the other entrees are literally all carbs (i.e. pasta) The fried brussel sprouts were very good. Honestly, it's hard to say whether or not this or the fried calamari was better. The sweetness of the sauce went really well with the brussel sprouts, and they were fried to perfection. The fried calarami was well prepared, and didn't make you feel really oily after eating it even though it's deep fried. Additionally, the accompanying aioli was really good, and complemented the seafood. Would definitely recommend these appetizers. The entrees were a bit less amazing. The ribs were good, but the majority of the dish is mashed potato. Honestly, the portions are not small by any means, and you will be full after eating a dish, but you wouldn't necessarily be satisfied since most of it would have been eating potatos or pasta. The gnocchi was very good, but ran into the issue where there wasn't any meat to go along with it. If there was some kind of meat accompanying it, it would have elevated this dish from decent to pretty good. The rigatoni and the risotto were solid, but nothing amazing. Honestly, these were a bit disappointing compared to the other dishes. Drinks: 3/5 The Spa H20 was pretty good. I ordered two, one was made with Vodka and the other was made with Gin, and both were tasty. Would definitely recommend this cocktail. I heard that this was the best one at Fly Trap. The Hani's Inferno, on the other hand, was probably the worst cocktail I've ever had. The cocktail was spicy, and didn't really have any other flavor profile. The jalepeno overpowered all the other notes in the drink. Service: 5/5 The waitstaff was pretty good about attending to drinks, and water. Nothing to complain about. Atmosphere: 4/5 The restaurant's atmosphere elevates it from a sports-bar kind of vibe to a restaurant vibe. It's not a bad place to bring a date for the atmosphere, but there are better alternatives when it comes to the food itself. Overall: 3/5 Not a bad place to bring a date or a casual group of friends, but not necessarily a place I would recommend often.

Aditya C.

Yelp
The combination of really good food and excellent service put this over the top and made the Fly Trap a 5 star experience for our group. To start, we got several drinks from the cocktail menu. I got the Spa H20 with gin, which had a refreshing taste that cleansed my palate after each bite of food. We moved on to appetizers - we got many orders of fries. The fries were the perfect level of crispy and the sauce they provided on the side was the perfect taste to complement the fries. Our group could not stop ordering the fries because of how good they were. We also got the fried Brussels sprouts which were seasoned perfectly and came with crispy morsels of bacon. Finally, we also ordered the smoked trout which came in a noodle like dish that had a nice tangy taste to it. For entrees, I specifically ordered the house made gnocchi, a vegetarian dish. It was delicious - it came with Parmesan cheese, mushrooms, and garlic - and was an ideal amount of food for me. I finished the dish feeling satiated but not too bloated. For desserts, the table split a couple of chocolate mousse and crème brûlée dishes, both of which were fantastic. The mousse was especially sweet, but a quick sip of water was enough to leave me wanting more! Finally, the final aspect of our experience that pushed this from 4 stars to 5 stars was our waiter. Our waiter was polite and extremely helpful at every step of the way. He was able to provide one of our Gluten Free friends a cheat sheet of what was good and what wasn't which made my friends experience much more convenient. He was able to provide good drink recommendations and ensured all of our needs were met swiftly. The specific things that really pushed this to 5 stars were the service, the crispness of the fries (seriously), how good the entrees were rating among my friends, and the how tasty the desserts were.

Nicholas M.

Yelp
The fly trap is a gem. I'm a big fan of the decor and overall vibe of the space. You can tell the decor is all individually curated and has a lovely eclectic nature. The fries are among the best around as well as the espresso martini.

Lisa B.

Yelp
We always sit at the bar when trying out new restaurants, especially if there is an interesting cocktail menu and engaging bartenders. We ordered the roasted chicken and ribeye - both tasted good. The highlight was exploring the cocktail menu, with choices like the Spa H20, Tongue Teaser, and Bait and Switch. While they were all enjoyable, they didn't stand out as particularly unique. Nonetheless, we're glad we gave this place a try!

Jennifer N.

Yelp
This exceeded my expectations! We pass by this restaurant a lot on the way to/from the bus and the m a g i c a l alleyway always intrigued us. Little did we know that this is one of the oldest restaurants in SF and its right here practically in our backyard. Highly recommend: - Ribeye (medium rare) - it is so juicy and flavorful - Pork ribs - it almost tastes like chinese ribs from dim sum places - Fries - Beer battered to golden crispness Would pass on: - Acme bread appetizer - We LOVE a good acme bread but the brad they chose was just a small baguette and it was reheated to be too crispy. We wanted a more bigger bread thats fresh and soft on inside. The butter was also a bit sour? Kinda weird. Ambiance is so nice though, super romantics and feels like an alleyway to another world.

Sha G.

Yelp
I loved the alley seating. It's intimate and cute! Drinks are delicious. I had a couple of appetizers but they were on the small side. They were still tasty and went down easy with tasty cocktails. I will say the service is top notch. It's a must for a cozy night out.

Prajakta C.

Yelp
Lovely place for team dinner! The ambience was good and service was good! Recommend reservations during peak dinner time. The portion size was decent. The meat was perfectly cooked. Only complaint is for the bread pudding with berries where berries were non-existent (vs my previous visit), clearly inflation adjusted lol

Tony T.

Yelp
Came with a group of 9 and they were very accommodating. Service was good, tried the chicken after recommendation from server and it was fine. The mushroom cream sauce was good but the kale that came with it was not exactly great. Overall, the food was ok.

Soumen B.

Yelp
Thoughtful ambience, good vibes, and the best house made Gnocchi!! I will likely go again only for the Gnocchi :). The place has good service and is a great hangout place for drinks. Not many options for food. Also, the place can get really loud and it can get crowded near the bar.

Kristy P.

Yelp
Good food, cocktails and service. Fun atmosphere. Good for groups or couples. Great for after the Giants game

Vijay K.

Yelp
The ribeye wasn't cooked well. The chicken was flavorless. The Brussels sprouts were burnt service was decent. Ambience was really nice

Naomi Y.

Yelp
This place has a cute outdoor patio that is Instagram worthy but unfortunately the food is just okay. I'd rate it overall (3/5). But my experience with customer service there was exceptional as they checked in with us frequently. The bread pudding and calamari were my highlights and my lowlight was the roasted beet salad - it didn't taste roasted at all. My friend ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some how a piece of plastic ended up in there. We addressed this with the server and he offered to bring her a new scoop but we politely declined because we were full. Instead, they didn't charge us for the ice cream.

Yelp
Our waitress seemed annoyed with us and I have no idea what we did to provoke her. The place is cute and it was poppin' on a Friday night. Their QR code was on a miniature table with a drawer you can open, super cute. The drinks were strong and in nice glasses. The apps were the bomb! We had calamari, brussel sprouts and fries. We were either really hungry or they were that good because we killed everything. I ordered the 1/2 chicken plate which came with kale and mushroom sauce. I'm not a huge fan of kale but the way they sauteed these were really good. The mushroom sauce on the chicken was good too. My friend ordered the linguini clams and it looks better than it tasted. The noodles had no sauce. Like literally tasted just like olive oil and some chili as it had a nice kick to it. We wish they would've done a white wine with cream sauce. I ended up finishing the plate for her haha. We were reeled in by some photos of food that no longer was on the menu so we assumed their menu changes every so often. Not sure if this would be our first place to come back to, but maybe.

Yelp
I brought my family here to celebrate my Dad's birthday after we caught a Giants game (very close to Oracle Park). We found the staff friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the calamari, chicken, steak and sides. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection- also well presented. The ambiance was calm, we felt hidden, in a good way. I would highly recommend this place to come alone or in a small group (maybe 4 max) for quality conversation.

Yelp
This use to be one of my favorite downtown places. Not only is the reviews and menu here inaccurate the quality has degraded to Denny style food. No more pistachio meatball, no lamb burger. $35 ribeye steak was tasteless and topped with a strange tomato sauce without the ketchup flavor. Duck ball was also bland and without any duck taste. Party of 10 I came with was all disappointed and with a mandatory 20% gratuity this place was ain't working it! Drinks was good though.

Yelp
Love, love, love the french fries here!! The burger is a great standard burger. The housemade gnocchi is also very good here and the noodles are perfectly cooked. A very decent restaurant that is open until late!
