This will fit the bill if you're looking specifically for a rooftop bar in Dallas. However, it won't blow you away by any means. The city skyline is about all that's impressive about this. I'm sure during the day, hotel guests enjoy the rooftop infinity pool area, but it's overall small and leaves some to be desired. The footprint of the outdoor area is small, almost too small, while the inside bar area is reminiscent of a club. It would have been much cooler had the design from downstairs in the Nylo hotel been brought up to the rooftop. Instead, the vibe is easily replicated and doesn't stand out among the many other bars, rooftop or otherwise, on the Dallas city limits.
The area of town is a bit sketchy. It was difficult to find parking on the street, or in a nearby lot that didn't have towing signs plastered everywhere. Anywhere that doesn't make it easy to access already loses points in my book, and when the atmosphere isn't up to par, it likely won't be receiving a re-visit. I assume hotel guests are the primary patrons, but the place has potential to be a public hot spot, especially among millenials thirsty for a good view (no pun intended). The drink specials weren't anything to special, and the service was difficult to judge seeing as we were some of the only people up there (perhaps there's a reason for this). The emptiness was certainly a red flag since the view was as picturesque as it was.
