"There's no other way to put it, The Gallows is just a really awesome bar. It's a neighborhood haunt at it's heart, with a staff that will likely remember your name as well as your drink order. The bar serves up inventive cocktails based on classic recipes often with a flare for kitschy concoctions. The food menu is made of risky translations of American comfort food like a grilled corn muffin with pulled pork, jalapeño pepper jelly, avocado and pickled red onion or the Carpet Burger topped with fried oysters, chipotle rémoulade, grilled onions and cheese.
