"The new dive bar–restaurant Golden Horn has the perfect chill, easy atmosphere and next-level flavors: tofu‑stuffed egg rolls, a Burger Tex on Taiwanese milk bread, rich crab rangoons, super-satisfying egg fried rice (I regretted not adding shrimp), and Taiwanese fried chicken served with white rice; the cocktails were complementary — I liked my martini, the King Joy Olivette — and everything is portioned for groups, though we missed the lo mein and a chalkboard special so I’ll be back." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Golden Horn is a cocktail bar from the team behind legendary dive bar Barfly’s. It also happens to be located one floor below it, on the ground level near Airport Boulevard. The space is large and cozy, with lots of wood paneling and a long bar featuring a handful of signature and draft cocktails, all generally priced around $10. The space is comfortable, the cocktails are straightforward and good — think draft Old Fashioneds, not-too-dry martinis, and that iconic frozen Orange Whip (yes, it’s the same one from one of its sibling bars, the Violet Crown).
