The 20 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim | Eater LA

"It might sound counterintuitive, but there aren’t many ice cream options in Disneyland Park, especially compared to Disney California Adventure, which has Ghirardelli, Schmoozies!, and Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. The best ice cream treat in the whole park is the house-made chocolate-chunk cookie sundae at the Golden Horseshoe. It’s a warm brown butter chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauces and whipped cream, then finished with two more cookies that form Mickey ears. It’s almost too cute to eat. Almost." - Julie Tremaine

Excellent spot to cool off and enjoy lunch or dinner! The cowboy fries were pretty good! Hot honey chicken Sandwich was standard. Will be back!

The Golden Horseshoe is such a charming and nostalgic spot in Disneyland! 🤠✨ It’s located in Frontierland and perfectly captures that old Western saloon vibe. The décor is spot-on, with wooden interiors, vintage chandeliers, and classic saloon-style furnishings — it feels like stepping into a scene from an old Western movie. The food here is pretty good for theme park standards — they have tasty options like chicken tenders, fish and chips, and chili cheese fries. 🍟🍗 The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering it’s inside Disneyland. Plus, you can grab a refreshing soft drink or root beer float to cool down from the California heat. What makes The Golden Horseshoe extra special is the entertainment. They often have live performances, including comedy acts and Western-style music, which adds to the atmosphere. The stage is beautifully set up, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a fun show while you eat. 🎤🎶 Seating is available both upstairs and downstairs, so it’s a nice place to take a break, relax, and soak in the classic Disney magic. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds to the welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good food and a bit of Old West charm in the middle of Disneyland! 🌟🤠

This establishment provides a pleasant ambiance for families to dine in. The menu includes basic options such as chicken tenders and soft drinks, as well as ice cream. While the piano player is no longer present, the overall atmosphere remains inviting.

We stopped in here for dinner during our visit. This place had been recommended, particularly for its chicken tenders, and it was fantastic! We are so happy we stopped in. Unfortunately, the exterior and entryway are under construction right now, so we didn't get the full experience. The inside is cool, but there was no entertainment or anything going on. Food wise, this place is bomb! We tried the Sampler Box, Chicken Tenders, and the Hot Honey Sandwich (minus the pickles, though). Everything was delicious! Portions are very good as well. Would absolutely recommend and get again. Topped it off with their Roy Rogers, too. Very good. We used the order ahead on the app, and it worked out perfectly! There was a decent sized line. I'm guessing this place gets very busy - it sort of looks closed right now with construction work. Overall, this place is definitely worth trying and a great recommendation!

Google
What a cool location. It looks just like an old saloon and even had shows. We went for the strawberry sprite float. The location was clean but the cast member who helped us was not very pleasant at all. I was happy we only ordered a float and left. The menu isn’t very big and not a lot of options. I’m not sure I’d recommend the food but the location like I said super cool.

Google
Comfortable dining with a decent but limited selection dining. Old world entertainment when they have them. The food wasn't fresh as they need to make it fast and in bulk so the cheese sticks are more rubbery. But prices are decent for where you are.

Love the atmosphere at The Golden Horseshoe! Comfort food paired with live entertainment makes for a fun experience every time!

Google
Honestly food very basic not the best the vegan wrap had way to much salad dressing & I don't think it was fresh since it was slightly bitter although I give it r stars for the amazing micky ice cream which saves the day highly recommend trying it

Yelp
Since this was the last day in 2024 for Magic Key Holders, I thought I would try the Magic Key special: MK Float Flight (Taste a Trio of Ice Cream Floats) One each of: 1) Traditional Barq's Root Beer Float. 2) Coca-Cola Float with Grenadine Syrup topped with 2 Maraschino Cherries. 3) Sprite Float with Grenadine Syrup topped with 2 Maraschino Cherries. Each had it's unique flavoring, taste, and reaction (YES! as the Coke foam-exploded when I first used the spoon to get some ice cream :0 ) Truly, a FULL-filling experience for one person. For the price, I think it was well worth the trio. The Golden Horseshoe had plenty of seating downstairs for having a line OUT THE DOOR (which is out of the norm). If you needed more seating, one could always go upstairs. I do miss the shows, none present while I was there. Highly recommend if you want to get off your feet along with refreshments as there are so many things to eat & drink around GH.

Yelp
I can't believe in all the times we've been to Disneyland, we have never ventured into the Golden Horseshoe! I was motivated by a seasonal treat they were offering-the Gingerbread Sundae which sadly did not live up to my expectations. The vanilla ice cream was good but the cake was cold and dry. I think if it had been warm and/or came with a sauce it would have transformed this dessert. We used the app to place our order so I don't really have anything to say about the service and we didn't try any other food items but the ambiance of this place! It is what you'd expect if you walked into an old time saloon complete with a stage for entertainment. Lots of seating including some balcony seating as well. I imagine during the summer this place could be a refuge from the heat! As most of the quick service dining options in DL, the menu is very limited-chicken tenders, a spicy chicken sandwich and a wrap. The sandwich sounds pretty tasty and I may just have to meander over to try it the next time I'm in the park.

Yelp
We got the onion rings and fries for a late-night snack before the leaving the park (9:30). They weren't fresh and were pretty dry. I also feel like we were cheated on quantity. It wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't come back for this. The dining area was pretty full but there were still tables available. It was a decent place to sit and people watch after a long day.
google avatar

Wina G.

Yelp
Great place to get out of heat and crowds in Frontierland. Lots of seating and there's a 2nd level. It's an Old West saloon themed quick service serving mainly fried chicken tenders or fried chicken sandwich. IMO fried chicken sandwiches at DL are just ok. We came for the MK soda float trio. Oh yeah! Grab a friend and get this if you can! It's 3 soda floats with root beer, coke and 7-up with grenadine syrup ($8.99). They come in small cups but I think they're too much for only one person. You need to be a Magic Key to get this. There's also a MK snack samper with mini corn dogs, tenders, onion rings and fries ($17.99).

Yelp
Haiku: The Golden Horseshoe A classic saloon Known for tenders & ice cream Gallop & grub here. --- I dined here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I came because of the Magic Key food offerings (& they were a great deal!). Right now during the 2024 holidays, we got the: - Three Ice Cream Floats Sampler: The kid in me (along with my own kid) rejoiced! It's been ages since I've had an ice cream float and here we were sampling three different flavors: Barq's root beer float, Coke float with grenadine syrup and cherries, and Sprite float with grenadine syrup and cherries. - Magic Key Sampler Box: I love me a sampler meal of hot honey tenders, mini corn dogs, fries, and onion rings. I'm so glad the tenders weren't dry, probably because it was dressed in the (not so) hot honey. Service was swift and efficient. I'm really digging these Magic Key food offerings. It's a great way to try the restaurant's favorite hits at an affordable price.
google avatar

Parker R.

Yelp
Came here the other day on our Disney trip and ordered the Magic Key (3) float option and some honey chicken tenders. The food was yummy and the floats were alright. They made them wrong (in my opinion). They had the cups of soda ready (assuming to speed up the line) and would dump the ice cream in the cups making them overflow. 3/4 of the cup was soda. I would put ice cream first then the soda but each their own.
google avatar

Romina T.

Yelp
The girls like to come here for a quick snack while in Adventureland. It's usually not busy, Always cool inside and a has plenty of seating to eat. They got the chicken tenders with fries and Shirley temple!
google avatar

Stevin F.

Yelp
A recent meal included a Hot Honey chicken sandwich and fries, along with two orders of Chicken tenders and fries. However, the fries were dry and aged, while the chicken tenders were notably smaller and inconsistently portioned, with 4 strips on one tray and 3 on another. Formerly, this venue offered quick service and value, but the absence of fried fish and mozzarella sticks has reduced its appeal. The Hot Honey chicken sandwich was acceptable, though predominantly sweet rather than spicy, and the coleslaw was unremarkable. The growing impact of corporate greed on Disney is apparent.
google avatar

Shamara B.

Yelp
As many times that I have been in Disneyland today was my first time going inside. I had the magic key sampler it was pretty good. No one performed. But it was a nice spot to sit in and eat. The customer service was cool. I would go back.
google avatar

Elvia M.

Yelp
I had seen online that this restaurant had hit honey chicken and I was pretty excited to try it. We always know food at Disneyland going to be pricy which isn't great but I was also curious. When I got the sandwich with the viral hot honey chicken, it was just okay. It didn't taste bad but also just tasted like the chicken was dipped in a sweet and sour sauce. Didn't really taste honey, rather just sweetness. Service was pretty quick the typical self serve/clean up was expected. The old western theater feel to the place was kind of underwhelming. Not much happening and just crowded.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Had chicken tenders here on a recent trip. I noticed their menu had changed between our previous trip in December and our trip in May. Options were limited. Chicken strips and fries were ok. I do like that you can get free ice water. I noticed tables weren't all that clean during our visit and it was rather warm inside, like maybe their A/C wasn't working well. Overall, it definitely provides indoor seating out of the sun if you're needing a break from the heat of the day. My husband tried a shirley temple and said it was just ok. Chicken strips are always a safe, solid option.
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
I never crave a roy rogers or shirley temple except here! hahaha something about ordering it from a bar is vibey and I love it! They put LOTS of ice so in my opinion it's expensive for what you're getting but it is definitely refreshing and you can lounge in the area for a bit to cool off as well.

Yelp
We decided to get an afternoon treat during our recent visit to Disneyland. Mobile ordering made pickup super easy. We opted for the cookie sundae and the apple crisp sundae. Both were great. We also got a coffee which was a life saver to keep going since it was day 2 at the park. The performers added a fun air to the place. We would definitely come back.
google avatar

Nancy F.

Yelp
I love this place. From the awesome air conditioning on a hot summer day to the entertainment and food. The service has always been great as well. I never have any trouble finding seating here.
google avatar

Nicki S.

Yelp
Ordered chili cheese fries / Chicken tenders and fries. Fries were STALE. Not just old like made an hour ago but totally stale. As I was ordering, someone else brought 3 orders of fries back to be replaced. Yikes. Remind me to not order food here anymore, this must be for dessert only.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
This was a nice spot to escape the heat and crowd. Spacious and clean with plenty of tables upstairs and downstairs. Service was quick, food is decent and a good snack.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
(Overall: 85% | B) - The peach sundae is an xl version that is meant to be shared at the $9 price point. The crumble added nice texture and the peach added warmth and comfort to balance the vanilla ice cream. Besides being too large, I found the sundae to have way too much whipped cream. Be sure to eat it fast before it melts in the Disney summer heat. IG: @amei.eats

Rosario S. C.

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe Restaurant is a great pit stop to get something to eat. They have quite a few choices from burgers to pizza. There are live entertainment shows that go on while you are there. The place is large and there are plenty of tables. It is clean and good spot to get out of the sun.
google avatar

Angela V.

Yelp
Food is pretty average. You have your typical chicken tenders, fried foods, and seasonal desserts. However, if you're looking for a spot to rest your feet from all the walking around Disneyland... this is a good place. There is plenty of seating. It is two stories and shaped like a horseshoe with a stage in the front. You might be able to catch a show which consists of a piano player that busts out the occasional dad jokes.
google avatar

Andrew V.

Yelp
They basically just have chicken tenders and ice cream at this point. Was pretty disappointed. Tables were dirty and someone who works here just used a napkin to clean spilt ranch off our table when we arrived.
google avatar

Ron R.

Yelp
*** Vegetarian / Vegan Review *** The ambiance - Super hookie and I love every thing about it. Old time piano player that tells dad-jokes - yes please! The food - A+ / full disclosure. I've only had one dish from this place. Actually never even looked at the full menu. A vegan friend of ours said they had a plant based option and we made a bee-line straight here to try and we were not disappointed. Impossible chili cheese fries ($7, Grade A+) Probably one of the best deals in the park. Super generous portion. Served in one of those picnic trays and stacked with hot and crispy French fries with heaps of impossible chili and beans. Really good and plenty to share with your special someone. Highly recommended and if you dare, stay for the entertainment.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
So I have never actually eaten the food at The Golden Horseshoe, only the assortment of ice cream. They used to have ice cream nachos on their "secret" menu, but not sure if they still have it since so many things have changed since COVID. Yesterday though, we stopped in for a few laughs, and the chocolate-chuck cookie ice cream sundae. OMG...it was so good! The cookies are baked to perfection, and the ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream, sprinkles, and the cherry made this sundae over the top, and perfect for a fun Disney day. You can find The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland near Big Thunder.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
As a food option, The Golden Horseshoe is probably one of the week or options in the vicinity. The desserts are pretty good, but the fast food options are average at best. The draw for this location is its history and the ambience of re-creating, an old West, style, saloon, and stage venue. There's usually good entertainment to be found for the whole family and the ambience, arguably adds a star to the overall experience. You may want to consider this as an option for desserts with your kids, rather than as a full-blown meal.
google avatar

Cee Z.

Yelp
My family always loves coming in here on hot days to cool off I saw the new Shirley temple offering and ordered it, very refreshing.

Yelp
Had a wonderful snack from here! The Golden Horseshoe has all the basics--chicken tenders, fries, fish and chips, and mozzarella sticks. Great, but nothing too special. Where Golden Horseshoe really shines is with their desserts and seasonal treats! This time around I got the Cookie Butter Churro Sundae! It had chocolate chip ice cream, A CHURRO (I repeat, an entire churro), and was drizzled with cookie butter for $7.99. That's AN INCREDIBLE DEAL knowing that churros at the park are $5 and a single scoop of ice cream at Gibson Girl is $5. AND YOU GET BOTH WITH THIS TREAT! Not only that, they are also so picture perfect. When walking around with my sundae, SEVERAL HEADS TURNED and many people ooooed and ahhhed at the beauty. One man nearly did a 360 head turn just to say, "That looks good". haha The sundae itself was quite tasty! The star of the show was the cookie butter. This wasn't Trader Joe's Speculoos spread (which I do love). IT WAS BISCOFF (at least I believe it to be). It tasted like the fancy stuff! And you bet I scraped every single bit of biscoff from the side of the cup and into my mouth haha As for the Golden Horseshoe itself, it has a cute vibe. I do think it's time for a revamp as the floors are really sticky and the place itself feels slightly outdated. Still a great place to have an easygoing meal and a super delicious dessert and/or holiday treat!
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Probably our favorite dining spot in Disneyland. Great food, great atmosphere, and entertainment! The piano players does shows throughout the day. Odds are if you sit down for a meal you will catch the piano player! We usually order French fries and chicken nuggets for the girls and bring in food from another restaurant for ourselves. The kids meals are a great deal and one is all our girls need. The line can get very long and for some reason it moves very slow so mobile order ahead of time! I cannot stress this enough. You need to plan ahead because sometimes the mobile order window time is hours in advance. So plan accordingly. There is plenty of seating and upstairs is nice, too! I think on a crowded weekend of a holiday in the warm season was the only time there were no tables available but just wait a bit and something will open up. Not the best for large groups because it's a bunch of small tables but perfect for a family of four. For the Halloween season we ordered the churro Sunday and it was 100% worth it! For about 8 bucks you get a full sized churro ($5 value right there) and 2 scoops of ice cream with amazing butterscotch and whipped cream! Buy one and thank me later

Yelp
A great place to relax, take a break and to escape the heat at Disneyland. If you come at the right time, you'll catch the guy sing and play the piano. He's great! The Golden Horseshoe has good dessert items. Love their funnel cakes and churros sundaes!
google avatar

Lorri D.

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe is a fun way to escape the heat and the crowds. Located in the heart of Frontierland, this old west "saloon" will surely make you feel like you are back in the days of shoot 'em up westerns! Ok, maybe not, but it is a pretty neat eating hall with some decent food and terrific desserts. Entertainment is mostly song and dance in a vaudeville type of show; dance hall girls, cowboys, villains and the like there's also (or used to be) some singing hillbillies (my Mom's favorite, Billy Hill). I mean if it weren't at Disneyland it may not make it in the world, but once you are caught up in the enchantment of the park, this will be a fun place to check out. For pass holders, this is a great place to get those special items for only us. Seasonal goodies and treasures, if you are into that type of thing. Old folks and kids are who will enjoy this place the most. The food fare includes chili cheese fries, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, fish and chips. These run you about $10-12, and there's a kids menu as well which is under $10. The entertainment is fun, however the desserts are FANTASTIC! Sundaes and floats, can't go wrong! Sometimes there are specialty desserts as well, I don't think they are on the main menu. Funnel cakes, ice cream cookie sandwiches (yum!!), and the cutest cookie sundae with chocolate chips as "Mickey ears". Definitely a sit down dessert stop, even if there's no entertainment at the time. Typically not crowded but then I've tried to get in other times when I couldn't even find a place to sit. I've never had an issue with Cast Members being unpleasant here, in fact we've had remarkable success with some pretty fun CMs! The ones serving aren't as cheerful, but the ones meandering around have been great! Gotta check this place out at least once, hopefully you'll have a great experience... that's what is intended.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
For years I've never tried this place as the menu is just fried food, but the peach cobbler sundae sounded delightful on a June Disney day to cool down. I was delighted to see the decor and the abundance of seating! To top it off, there was live entertainment to make it the perfect place to cool down. The menu shows Impossible Chili Cheese Fries, but is not available through mobile order. Bummed about that, or this would be a 5-Star Disneyland quick dining!

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe is delicious. I've had the Chicken Tenders with Fries, Strawberry Ice Cream Float and Golden Horseshoe Ice Cream Float with Coca-Cola. The chicken tenders and fries are tasty and decent, nothing different than your standard ones.  They are not going to blow your mind but are still decent.  Got these because I always crave chicken tenders.  It comes with a lot of food so I like to share it with another person or else I'll be really full and can't try the rest of the food at the park. The strawberry float is good, however, it wasn't good to the point where I would try it again, I think I prefer a regular float. It was hard to mix the ice cream and sprite together, so I kind of had to just drink the sprite and eat the ice cream separately. Because of this it didn't really taste like a float, maybe I would have liked it more if it was able to be mixed better. The regular ice cream float was also good but not mind blowing. This one mixed better together but it wasn't really good to the point where I would get it again. The floats are huge so I share with another person and even then it's still a bit hard to finish. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but a good stop if I'm nearby. It's inside Disneyland at Frontierland.  Service is quick and friendly. There is a lot of inside seating. There is also a stage with a live pianist at times, really fun to stay here and eat. It's casual but nice. I like the decor, it goes with the western theme. It's usually not overly crowded when I go, I always find a seat. They have a second floor with seating as well. You can order in line but I like to place a mobile order to skip the line.  There's usually immediate time slots available, no wait.  You just have to wait for your food to be prepared, usually less than a five minute wait.  I think the price is fair here accounting for inflation.  Also keep in mind food inside the park is going to cost more, as expected.  The amount of food you get is worth the price.

Yelp
We have always loved the golden horseshoe at disneyland because you can sit down inside and my kids love the chicken tenders. Sadly all of the tender meals we got this weekend jan 2024 tasted like lemon, nasty strong lemon flavor. They added lemon pepper tenders to the menu (which are gross, I ordered them and they taste like a ton of lemon juice was drenched on them) I think the cooks are mixing up the tenders and just tossing lemon on all the food. Until those come off the menu I wood avoid the golden horseshoe

Yelp
Hey need a sit down break at Disneyland? Come here, rest your feet and have a fabulous treat. This review is short because we only tried the Cookie Butter/Churro sundae.....super yummy and cooked us off from the 100 degree weather. The cookie butter mixed with the cookie dough ice cream sent me to heaven. Enjoy! Oh, and drink lots of water and don't forget the sunscreen.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
Surprised I haven't written a review for the Golden Horseshoe before. Probably since their seasonal limited items are generally just ice cream sundaes that aren't too special or different aside from adding a couple of different ingredients or arranging into a different shapes or characters. It definitely is a place to hide from the rain or heat outside or to bring any of your other food to sit there and dine. Very aesthetically pleasing like an old timey, Western saloon and stage. Sometimes there's performances on stage or someone playing the piano on the upper floor. We had the: 1) Fish and Chips: -A decent amount of fried fish filets and fries. -Fries just reminded me of slightly less salty McDonald's fries, but it hits the spot if you just want some simple junky fries. -The fish was decent too. Very thin breading, not too crispy but not soggy either. The fish meat inside was fluffy and moist. -Went great with the tartar sauce that came with it, but honestly we should have asked for extra. 2) House Made Chocolate Chunk Cookie Sundae: -This was a limited time sundae available for Disney's 100th anniversary event. -Unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip cookie bowl that this came with were extremely hard. Probably due to the coldness of the ice cream. Would have been more enjoyable if they were warmed (doesn't even have to be freshly baked to be honest). -Mid sundae, I'd skip it. Overall, it's more of a place for me to enjoy the vibes of instead of getting food from (since all they have is the standard American fast food fare you can get anywhere else).

Yelp
We got food from here 2x while at Disneyland. The first time we got 2 fish and chip meals and a kids chicken tender meal to eat while waiting for Fantasmic to start. We did the order ahead and when my husband went to pick it up he said he could have just ordered as there was no line. The fish pieces were very thin, mostly breading and overly greasy. The fries were lukewarm, soggy and seemed as if they had been cooked in old grease. The chicken tenders kids meal my kid would not even touch (ate the apple sauce and oranges). My husband took a bite to see why they did not eat them and he said they were gross. The second time we went in was for ice cream. We got the house made chocolate chunk cookie sundae. We also got a drink. We came mostly for the air conditioning. There was a piano player playing while we were there and it was very loud and hard to have a conversation. The line was long but seemed to go fast. The sundae was a lot of whipped cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and 2 cookies that just tasted like chips ahoy and the cookie on the bottom of the sundae was so hard it felt like my teeth were going to break eating it. I don't plan on coming back to Disneyland so I do not have to worry about eating here but if you choose to come here beware.

Yelp
Could have been more well kept. There was a lot of crumbs and trash on the ground. Loved that there was live music inside. The restaurant is shaped like a theater and has 2 levels. I love their chicken stripes and their fish&chips.

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe is a restaurant and show at Disneyland California. I've visited Disneyland several times, however, on my last trip, I finally had a chance to sit down inside The Golden Horseshoe. The Golden Horseshoe is located in Frontierland. It's a quick service restaurant that offers a wide variety of such as chicken tenders, ice cream floats, and ice cream. The price is pretty reasonable for meals. Annual passes are accepted here. There are two levels, an upper level and lower level within The Golden Horseshoe. While you're inside the Saloon, you can catch one of the shows. When we saw the show in February, there was a single piano musician singing songs. It was a great experience at The Golden Horseshoe.
google avatar

Arlene M.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here to get out of the heat after spending a lot of time in the sun in Frontierland. The food is fast casual and mobile ordering is in place. Since we were eating dinner elsewhere we sat down to enjoy the show already in progress. Set up like an old west saloon we enjoyed a man on the piano rap out familiar Disney tunes as well as songs of the old West. It was a delightful show and gave us a chance to cool off in the air conditioning. The Golden horseshoe specializes in fish and chips, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks. Seasonal desserts are available as well. The Magic Kingdom counterpart: Disneyland comes up the winner here. The Diamond Horsehoe still has a similar set up of an old west saloon however, it has become an extension of the Liberty Tree Tavern. At one time it did have entertainment but it offers the same Thanksgiving style price fixed meal you would get over there which borders it. Someday if I ever make it back here I would like to try out their food offerings. Located in Frontierland in Disneyland.

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe Saloon is a hidden gem at Disneyland! So glad we gave it a shot on our recent Disney trip. The food was great! My partner had the fish & chips which he said were pretty good but the star of the show was definitely my plant-based Chili Cheese fries made with Impossible meat! They were so freaking good! Super stoked Disneyland is incorporating more plant based options, these were definitely a hit! Also loved the live music, and there's plenty of seating to choose from. Pro tip- if you need to charge your phone there's an outlet upstairs to the left next to the tables.

Yelp
I've been to the parks many times and walked by here many times but this is my first time inside the Golden Horseshoe. I had seen the viral churro cookie butter ice cream they had available and I really wanted to give it a try. Typically they have mobile orders available but keep in mind that they will shut that off probably before 30 minutes before the restaurant closes. Unfortunately, I had missed that window so I had to wait in line. Everyone was mostly in line for the sundaes since it's already about 830-845ish and the restaurant closes 9. The line it did move kind of slowly but they give you your food right away so that's probably why there was a bottleneck in the ordering food process. The savory foods looked like they were fairly normal theme park food but it also did look really good. There's a cool upstairs area that overlooks the downstairs and a big downstairs dining area. I can't wait to come back to check out what else they have here. Definitely place a mobile order if you're able to on the Disneyland app. It makes a lot more convenient if you're impatient like me so you're not having to wait in line.

Yelp
It's a very small venue located inside Disney, and their menu is very simple mainly serving fried chicken fingers here, moderate portions and affordable prices, which cost about $10 per order. The night performance is live piano and holidays songs.

Yelp
It's okay. Would I come here if I wasn't at a theme park? Not at all. But is it a decent option when at the Happiest Place on Earth? Sure. Food is okay and serving size is decent. And yes, the associates are very generous with dipping sauces as mentioned in other reviews. I was able to try one of the Holiday offerings, the Churro Funnel Cake a la mode ($9.99): funnel cake topped with dulce de leche goodness, cinnamon sugar, toffee, and caramel. It was indeed sweet but good. A "must share" with your party. Do not try to attempt to eat this by yourself unless you're a sucker for huge tasks. Please note, this treat is only available when ordering via the mobile app.

Yelp
Was checking the menu through the Disney app and saw they have a plant based dairy free chili cheese fries. I HAD to order to see how good they were. Happy to say they did not disappoint and tasted really good. The "cheese" and "sour cream" are coconut based and did not leave a weird after taste that some dairy free items do. Definitely coming back for these as this is my new dairy free dish at Disney. Side note: first time at this restaurant and it is cutely decorated in the Western saloon theme. Depending what time you show up the lines to order food could be long, but move quickly. Can consider ordering food through the app if waiting in line after all day lines is not something you want to do.

Yelp
One of the few original restaurants that have been around since Disneyland opened. Its great for a light bite or dessert, not as heavy as some of the other park offerings. Often times its not crowded at all, blending in pretty well with all the shops in Frontier Land so its kind of a hidden gem. Chicken tenders and fries we split between 2 adults and 2 children. The interior tables and chairs were well spaced so great to park a stroller inside and get the refreshing AC that is much needed on a sweltering day. Fries and Chicken tenders were both well cooked and they give you a ridiculous amount of dipping sauces if you ask for it. They were not greasy and came super hot and freshly made. They do shows here, the current one "Showdown at the Golden Horseshoe" is an entertaining vaudeville style dueling pianos show, it's well done and frenetic, like an old Looney Tunes cartoon.

Yelp
We enjoyed having dinner at the Golden Horseshoe, They had plenty of tables to choose from and the upstairs helps. They have shows happening every day and when we went it was in the evening, they had a piano player. Service was fast and food was good.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place isn't shut down by now . YOUR EMPLOYEES need training and are ridiculous. Nastiest sit down i've been to , Nastiest attitudes i've ever seen . Employees clean up spilled drinks and ranch off tables with a simple napkin from a dispenser , no sanitation towels or cleaning supplies , disgusting . ALEXA should be fired ASAP .

Yelp
Golden Horseshoe is one of the OG resturants in Disneyland. When you walk inside, you can tell, they have been here forever. Their menu was our best option for the the kiddos. Ordered on the app and our order was ready as quoted. Fish and Chips - $9.99 - Small fish piece, decently fried. The chips are literally a bag of chips, they do not have fries. Chicken Tenders - $10.99 - Better fried chicken portion then from Main Street. Chicken Mixed Green Salad - $10.49 - When you eat a salad but wish you got the turkey leg. They fry all this food but have no french fries!!!

Yelp
This is good for kids-chicken tenders, fish sticks. Really is a quick service place. Menu items are limited. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

Yelp
The Golden Horseshoe offers All-American fare like chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and loaded potato skins. Food? It is what it is. Greasy and overcooked. Exactly what you would expect from a place like this. Lots of seating available around the stage and they also have upstairs seating so there are different views of the stage available. Some tables needed tending to as they were wet and sticky. However, the surprise was that they provide live entertainment via a tiny stage at the front of the restaurant. The short performances were goofy but still entertaining. They even make it interactive by have someone from the audience volunteer to go on stage to be a part of the performance. Overall, food...meh. Price? Not too bad for an amusement park. Customer service? Good. Entertainment? Corny but entertaining and not complaining about free entertainment. 3 stars for the food and an extra star for the free entertainment.

Yelp
Chicken tenders, desserts, and live music are the best things here! Sometimes the chicken tenders come out too dry, and sometimes the desserts are too sweet, and sometimes the piano is off key - but even so it's always a nice place to have a snack break.
