"This Irish pub in Lincoln Square is dark and cozy, has a long beer list, and perfectly fine bar food. In other words, there isn't much setting it apart from the hundreds of other spots in the area that are just like it - except for the Grafton's fantastic fireplace. It's made of stone, burns real wood, and makes this place one of our favorite winter destinations." - Adrian Kane

"The Grafton is a cozy spot in Lincoln Square with lots of planters out front, a fireplace in the back, and a dark wood bar and dining room in between. You can order typical pub food like chicken wraps, onion rings, and some pretty thick burgers, and you won’t be wowed by any of it, but it will get the job done when you want to pair a couple beers with a casual and satisfying meal. There’s live Irish folk music here every Sunday and some other things like trivia happening throughout the week." - Marnie Shure

Good Irish Bar near Lincoln Square area. Went here during the St. Patrick’s day week and it was very happening. ☘️ They have lots of tables so you won’t have to wait for long to find a table. Good service and ambiance it great. Musical instruments everywhere and music being played in the background. We had Irish whiskeys, fish and chips, wings and a couple of cocktails. Overall a good experience.

I’ve been waiting a while for the food menu to come back. It was drinks-only for a while during the pandemic. So I was pleased to see the kitchen was open on my last visit. For drinks, they have a couple of the usual Irish selections, like Guinness and Magners. They pour the former correctly, so it comes out with a nice head. However, that’s basically where the UK beers stop. The rest is American craft beers, many of them local. I feel like I can get those at any bar or restaurant in the area; I go to Irish pubs for beers from the Kingdom. It would be great to see a better selection of those. As for the food, there are a few Irish-inspired dishes, but mostly not. Mostly the app has American apps, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Nevertheless, a few things looked good to me. I was having trouble deciding between the curds, spice bag, and burger. I ended up with the burger and it was really solid. The fries in particular were delicious. They tasted like they may have been fried in beef fat and were salty and crispy. Overall, I prefer the burger at Warbler across the street, but this could be a regular drinking place of mine if it got a better selection of UK beers.

Attentive wait staff, and good food, though limited offerings. The shepherd's pie is wonderful. We've gone here multiple times before attending a performance next door at Old Town School. We don't drink, but The Grafton appears to have a wealth of brews available. The bathrooms could use a significant upgrade, however.

What a gem! The chicken club and mashed potatoes were out of this world. Also make sure to grab some curry fries while you’re there. Everything was amazing and the bartender was very friendly and funny. I highly recommend going here.

The atmosphere is really nice. It's Irish inspired and they are able to capture it. The bar has a good size, and so their beer selection. Of course, we have Guinness and I was impressed. The bartender did wait to pour the Guinness after two minutes. They also have a good selection of whisky. We had the Teeling which is a Irish whisky we had in Ireland. We have the grass fed Joyce burger. Very good simple burger with pretzel bun, tomatoes and bacon. We also add the curry mayo to our fries and it was delicious. The prices are good for the burger ( 14 bucks) but a little bit pricy for the stews. The beef Guinness stew is 15 and the Irish lamb stew is 16. The bartender was super nice, but I couldn't helped listening a server complaining about a customers and it was kind of awkward because we stayed here for two hours and she kept coming back to complain about different customers. But, I will come back to Check it out. I think they are good. I would recommend to come here for some beers !

Great Irish food. We had the fish and chips and loved the option of curry fries. So glad they even had HP sauce! Nothing like their Irish coffee to finish off the meal as well.

Great place, if you don't care about TV's and want to have a conversation over great drinks and food, well, this is your place. Large selection of whiskey, rotating beer selection as well. Polite, friendly staff, and Irish music every Sunday.

Cozy traditional Irish pub. Nice vibe. We were there for lunch on a Thursday, so it was quiet and laid back. Good draft craft selection. Had Avery Ellie's Brown ale. My wife and I had turkey burgers that were very tasty. It's great to have places like Grafton's in the neighborhood!
