Neighborhood eatery and bar with all-day New American food, plus brunch and cocktails.
"What It Is: An all-day American spot on Robertson Blvd Perfect For: Corporate Cards, People Watching Robertson Blvd. is a street where looks matter, even if the street is long past its Spot The Hilton In A Kitson heyday. While most of the storefronts are now empty, The Henry seems like it’s trying to bring things back to the glory days of 2006, and certainly has attracted every person with an entertainment-adjacent job in a one-mile radius. We dropped in for lunch and found a beautiful dining room and a boring place to eat. The menu is a hodgepodge of everything from salads to dumplings to pasta to poke - and everything we tried was forgettable. Plus, the service was pretty overbearing (with way too many check-ins), which only increased our need to get out as quickly as possible. Verdict: Come here if being seen is very important to you. Otherwise, skip it." - jess basser sanders, brant cox, brett keating
"Welcome to West Hollywood’s Applebee’s For Agents. This generic and objectively lifeless restaurant on Robertson is where you’ll find every despondent UTA, ICM, and CAA employee picking at grain bowls and wondering if they’re just having a bad year or if this is their life now. Watching them realize the answer is always the latter is actually the only mildly interesting element of this place. Well, that and the fact they’re charging $24 for a rotisserie half-chicken you can get at Ralph’s for $7.99." - brant cox

"West Hollywood gains a massive new all-day restaurant starting today from True Food Kitchen founder Sam Fox, filling out the bottom floor of the Robertson Plaza building. The versatile establishment spans a wide floor plan with a ritzy, modern Gatsby-style interior that feels lavish and elegant but still appropriate for 2018. There’s lush greenery, leather banquettes, and even lounge areas for hanging out. The menu itself has some notable highlights that cover a range of cuisines, ingredients, and flavors, kind of like a 21st century Cheesecake Factory (in a good way). Avocado hummus, BBQ heirloom carrot salad, short rib potstickers, rotisserie French dip, Wagyu burger, and black truffle risotto are just a few example of the dishes one will find on the bill of fare, with plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The Henry bills itself as the 'greatest neighborhood restaurant,' and with this kind of utility, from morning to evening, cocktails to coffee, indoor-outdoor vibe, and a multi-faceted menu, it’s hard to argue against that claim. Open at 7 a.m. for coffee and breakfast, with lunch commencing at 11:30 a.m. Dinner service starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on weekends. Brunch service runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends." - Matthew Kang
"The Henry takes over the former The Newsroom location, and will anchor the massive 100,000 square foot property with its centrally located, neighborhood appeal. As with any good neighborhood restaurant, the concept that comes by way of restauranteur Sam Fox of the True Food Kitchen empire will serve all day. That means it’s a local one-stop-shop for everything from morning coffee and avocado toast to dinnertime dry-aged New York strip. Similar to the original Phoenix location, The Henry West Hollywood will be marked by the intersection of industrial and classic styles, with a hint of Gatsby-era charm to warm it all up. With a loungey patio, sprawling indoor/outdoor bar shaking up after-work libations, and expansive interior space that harks back to The Newsroom with a wall of library books and newspapers, The Henry checks all the boxes for all-day needs." - Crystal Coser
