The Most Pleasant Outdoor Bars In NYC Right Now - New York - The Infatuation

"This West Harlem cocktail bar is owned by the same team that runs Harlem Public and At The Wallace, and it’s the kind of place where you’ll want to bring a date and sit until it’s far later than you realized. The back garden looks like a music video set, complete with greenery, string lights, tassel-laden throw pillows, and mismatched outdoor furniture. If that’s full, The Honeywell also has a sidewalk patio where you can watch everyone coming in and out like you’re the bar’s very own slightly-tipsy gargoyle. Make a reservation ahead of time here." - Hannah Albertine, Bryan Kim

Google
Amazing bar with an excellent martini and many other incredible signature drinks. This is the best place to roll up for a cocktail on a weekend and make use of the every day happy hour, 4-7. The food is great, discounts on classic cocktails. Strongly recommend the Apple Jack cocktail as well.

Google
Neighborhood favorite cocktail bar for a reason. Honey Well offers a wide range of classic and house cocktails. While the drinks are stellar...everyone on staff consistently are the best. They are equal parts friendly/professional/fun. When it's nice out the patio is a lovely place to hang. Love you guys!!

Google
Indoor is pretty cool, but I love the outdoor vibe when the weather is warm. Food is good, although I miss the old menu. Drinks always great!

Google
Super cool spot in Harlem. Ambiance is cool outdoor seating is plentiful. The tables are a lil wonky in the garden area, some are short and the others are tall but the chairs don’t match the table height. Food is maybe better than drinks are, cocktails are pretty mid & slightly expensive. I had a toque and whiskey sour..Service is great, waiters are attentive but did bring a wrong drink to my table, I sent it back but they almost charged me for it, still. I’d come back again, vibe was great and I’m interested in trying other drinks.

Google
Unique space, great vibe, excellent food. The menu is fun and there is something here for everyone. Staff and hostess were very pleasant and attentive. Now the drinks, seemingly the highlight here: where is the alcohol? Had two cocktails in half an hour without a hint of a buzz... and where are the cool glasses that are pictured all over your instagram? Definitely not the experience that is advertised! Next time will sit at the bar and watch closely :)

Google
The Honey Well gave everything I didn't know I needed. We were a group of 4 and were seated immediately with a reservation for Saturday evening. Shout out to Swag! I absolutely loved this spot! The ambiance gave chic 70s vibes and the music matched the vibe. I loved how chill and cozy it was. The drinks were on point! From the presentation to the taste and strength. I had the Beauty and the Beast and Hey Boo Boo. Both drinks were fantastic. I really had a good time and definitely could see me going back next time I'm in NY. 10/10!

Google
The absolute best place for a chill night on the town. Was served by Jo. Very friendly and super helpful in more ways than one. Ask for the fun cups if you feel like. Great time! Will go again!

Google
Excellent cocktail bar! The 70s decor is perfect (including a Colt 45 ad) and really sets the mood. Lighting is low and yellow. Repeating pattern wallpaper. Honeycomb and bee motifs sprinkled around. Cocktails are beautifully done and the smell of charred wood is nice when customers order the Monk Fashioned. If you're a bourbon person, they have some very nice allocated bottles! I saw some Pappy, Elijah Craig 18 and 23 yr, George T Stagg, and others. They are VERY expensive pours though. Still, that they have them at all is cool. I got Weller 12 at $30/pour. This is a gem of a spot with good drinks and great food. You should absolutely go!

Yelp
I finally came here after wanting to check it out for years. I wasn't disappointed. Laurita was our server and she was so nice! My friend and I each had a drink and split the deviled eggs, queso dip and vegan sliders. Food was on point! Drinks were good - I had the tropic thunder and my friend had the Monk Fashioned. They have happy hour every day 4pm-6pm with $11 classic cocktails too. There's several drinks here I'd like to come back and try. The decor is so pretty and 70s vibe. This place was chill and not pretentious. It's a cool neighborhood spot. We had a reservation just in case but it wasn't busy at 4:30pm on a Sunday. I imagine Fridays and Saturdays this place gets packed. Looking forward to coming back! Not accessible from what I can see (staircase needed as the bar is on the lower level of the building).

Yelp
Drinks only review. We stopped by on a Saturday night and were seated right away at the bar. The menu is pretty extensive but the really nice bartender was very helpful. Since the Smokey Bear drink was no longer on the menu, he offered to make the Toque in the bear glass for me. There are other interesting bee themed glassware too. The drink was delicious and was slightly tart than sweet. The bar seats are so comfy compared to most bars. The back also has seating for food orders. What a great find!

Yelp
High energy. Completely packed Lively is an understatement and our waitress was fab! Great drink suggestions love

Yelp
Absolutely loved my visit to The Honeywell in uptown West Harlem! I'd been looking forward to going for a while, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy with both indoor seating and a cute patio area. While they focus more on appetizers rather than big entrees, the menu is full of creative, tasty small bites that pair perfectly with their specialty cocktails. Speaking of drinks--the cocktails are fantastic! They clearly put a lot of thought into the flavors, and it shows. The service was also top-notch; when it started raining, the staff quickly moved us inside and made sure we were comfortable. The music was spot on, adding to the overall vibe, making it the perfect spot for catching up over drinks and light bites. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This bar has really fun 1970s vibes and a great happy hour. I do miss some of the cocktails that used to be on the menu and some of the more throwback 70s food options like the Chex Mix when they first opened but it's still worth checking out.
google avatar

Dameer K.

Yelp
Drinks are strong and apps are Firee ‍ Small space overall it's a straight walk once you're inside, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you like intimacy in this big city . The Honeywell was introduced to me by a few coworkers & it's a secret jewel for escaping the rapid hustle of the big city. If you go definitely order the bruschetta and crab toast
google avatar

Yelp
Lovely spot in Hamilton Heights Super hidden and low key Decor is cute and old school Drinks and service a cool The vibe is chill The food/bites options could be better Prices are reasonable Reservations are definitely recommended There is a waitlist too Parking in the area can be tricky which is everywhere in NY

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED my experience here!! We stumbled into this place instead of going next door, and have no regrets. The interior like other reviews mention is like a 70s retro vibe, but if you walk through to the back it opens up to a really cute, bright patio. A great place for both drinks and food - I got a daquiri which came strong and really limey ($11 happy hour!), and got a whipped feta pretzel. That whipped feta dip was probably the best dip I've ever had! The pretzel was warm, soft, chewy and a little dense but paired perfectly with the cheese. Our waiter was so so nice and attentive. Would 100% come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and the beautiful weather brought us to the outside patio. Absolutely crazy awesome vibes here! Didn't eat but the Happy Hour specials were amazing. Will absolutely be back. Thanks for the amazing service!

Yelp
Went on a bad date with a comedian here who thought it was fun to talk down to the service staff, but somehow the service was still fantastic and the drinks were fun and bites were tasty! So hey, if a cocktail bar can can still taste good and be a great experience while on a bad date, you know it's solid! Love the fun hidden backyard with swings- it's nice when my thick booty can pretend I'm weightless for a while. Sorry no pics... I didn't want to remember much about it.

Yelp
This place is so cute, has great lighting, delicious food (get the Mac and cheese), delightful drinks, and great service. Great spot for friends or a date. Thoughtful seating options and was a warm and cozy spot for a cold December evening. Highly recommend.

Yelp
- delicious drinks - every drink is made with love - there is no bad drink here - i enjoyed the decorative glass - i liked the 19070s decor and music to match - food is alright - make sure you go downstoars, not upstairs - almost packed to capacity on a 50 degree saturday night at 1030 - $190 for ten drinks, and two apps that served five people each

Yelp
This is not speakeasy but a cool retro 70's bar complete with sunken seating. There are tables further in and high tops near the bar area and a garden seating area in the back. By the bar, there is a sign with Billy Dee Williams and Colt 45 and a retro TV playing retro shows. In another area, a poster of Tom Selleck looks at you. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 6pm for classic drinks and offers 1$ deviled eggs. For drinks, your experience varies with the bartender. I've come here off and on for years. I went years back when Marcio and Topher were there, and they were always on point. Now, sometimes, depending on how busy and the bartender, the honeywell doesn't have their secret drinks. I love the monk fashioned and disco inferno for the show. My other preferred drink is an old fashioned paying extra for a cherry instead of the orange peel. For food, I love their sweet and salty grilly, the fondue Mac and cheese and their deviled egg on the non happy hour menu since it adds prosciutto.

Yelp
I had a friend in town and we randomly found this place. Long story short, it was a great decision. Pros: --tasty small plates to graze on while drinking --very good handcrafted drinks --quaint decor Cons: --small restroom Overall, I would absolutely come back to this place!

Yelp
Came here with my homegirl for drinks. Such a dope spot with a great vibe. Drinks were delicious and very creative, service was amazing. Did not have to wait long for seats, menus or our drinks once we ordered. The music was great too. Definitely plan on coming back.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
Great music, service, and drinks. Went here for my husbands birthday and had an amazing time. Definitely plan on returning
google avatar

Devin T.

Yelp
I loved the ambiance of the place when I arrived. It was dim and intimate but fun and funky. There were bead curtains that gave you a sense of privacy at your table. The outside was a little run down and there were bugs but still able to occupy if that doesn't bother you. The menu is not typical. So you have to be willing to give the food and the drinks a try. The things that my friends and myself ordered were okay except, *** We All Agreed That was the most disgusting, watery yet grainy Mac n cheese we've ever had in our lives*** Would I return? Ehhhh some things are good for a one time experience.

Yelp
Went here, and the place was great.! Would high recommend it for a first date or early stages of dating or catching up with friends. It was unfortunate that I went on a really bad date here. But I still had fun with the staff. I look forward to going again in the future with my now 6 but still had a great time. The drinks are very unique and interesting, and the bartenders are willing to help you make the best decision for yourself. Overall love this place and i'm looking forward to going back soon!

Yelp
I loved the vibe here! I love a funky disco 80's vibe and they hit the nail on the head. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The food is beyond tasty and the drinks are worth it. I tried the Disco Inferno (drink that comes with a flame show) and the Meatballs. Amazing time! Check them out.

Yelp
A must if you're in the neighborhood. Honestly one of my favorite bars in NYC. The vibes are immaculate and everything off the menu is spectacular whether it's food or drink

Yelp
THE HONEY WELL October 29th, 2021 What a chill vibe! Follow the groovy arrow that time warps you back in time. Your first look at the waved glass block entrance clearly indicates that you just left modern day Harlem '21 to a speakeasy-type bar in Harlem '65. The Honey Well, with its nifty retro aesthetics, consists of a long narrow bar area with booths and tables towards the back, plus outdoor backyard seating in the Honey Garden. Our reservations for a party of 8 had us seated in the back room booth area. Intimate, warm lighting with Smooth R&B, Smooth Jazz, Funk plus Alternative tunes piped in pleasingly, to give you those relaxed mellow feels. We ordered almost everything off the small bites menu. My favorites were the Crab Cakes and the Whipped Feta drizzled with Honey, served with soft pretzels. This visit took place just over a year ago and I can still remember the flavors. I love a spot with a great vibe...warm and glowy with smooth tunes accompanied by great folks and decent service. Would definitely come back if the opportunity arose.

Yelp
The Honey Well is one of those places everyone should try once in their lifetime. Is that a bit of hyperbole? I think not because its name alone should fill you with curiosity. Let me be the first to say the Honey Well is all that and then some. The locals know a good thing, and now you do as well. If you go, and I hope you do, please take some time to take in the charm of the joint. I use the word "joint" because it gives off the sophistication of a speakeasy and smoke-filled room of deep south:AKA juke joint. The kind of place where you can sit at the bar alone and be swept up in the music, eye candy, inventive drinks, and delicious bites. As I said, the locals know what's good in the neighborhood, and now so do too. Do yourself a favor and have a drink and sway to the beauty that is The Honey Well.

Yelp
Every time im in new york, I have to stop by this Harlem gem. Bar tenders are fun and make the whole experience worthwhile.

Yelp
A thousand stars. This place is gorgeous. It gives off a speakeasy feel and the seating arrangements are so cool. Ample bar seating with tables in the back as well. It's a dim lit place so it's very romantic and intimate. The place is underground so don't miss it! The food was delicious. Everything was so good. They serve small bites like tacos and shrimp rolls (they're so delicious and juicy, kinda like mini lobster rolls). The chicken skewers were so yummy. Everything was perfect enough to share. Now on to the drinks... these were the legit stars of the show. Every single drink is presented so creatively. I got my "Green Go" cocktail in a fucking TOILET CUP!!!! What the fuck!!! That's so cool. My friends got hers in a bathtub cup like if that's not enough to tell y'all this place is popping, I don't know what to tell you. The drinks are pricey, $16 each, but very worth it. Our 3 plates and 2 drinks were $67 and that's actually pretty good for a place in the city. The service was also great. Right when we walked in, we were greeted with the biggest smile from our host. I love that. Our bartender got us our food and drinks very quick, although he was a little less attentive but that's because he was running all over the place. Nonetheless, great service and food. A literal gem in Harlem. Definitely going back.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Where do I begin? Honestly, I'm so hurt by the lack of warmth by this establishment. I came here for a cocktail and to unwind on a Sunday funday. My partner and I were asked what we wanted, she replied with her drink order as I was still deciding. 20 minutes go by and the bartender never comes back over to get my order. She receives her drink which was lackluster in flavor and alcohol. As she sips I'm still waiting to place an order. Not once did the bartender come back over. Feeling unwanted at this establishment we decided to leave. Prior to us leaving I found the bartender to be very warm and welcoming to other patrons who were not of my decent. I could make this a racial happening but I rather not. I won't be back and I hope they can be better and do better.
google avatar

Allison G.

Yelp
Food and drinks are decent. The vibe is low-key and not pretentious. The service was cool. Cute for a date night or 1:1 catch up with your bestie. HH options are cool.

Yelp
Very cool bar in the trendy area of Washington Heights/Harlem. This is a basement bar one level down from the street with really cool decor and friendly service. We only came by for a quick drink because we were in a hurry but I would definitely come back again on my next trip to the area. Very cool vibe, decor and menu. I know this review is short but I recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
So, I had The Honey Well book marked because the drinks looked pretty cool & the reviews were ok. I was going to a show in Harlem, so I figure there's no time like the present. As you can see from the menu, this is a bar with finger foods, so if you're looking for a meal, this isn't the place the for you. Looking at the drink menu, the drinks are very detailed & even a little overwhelming. A lot of the drinks consist of some of the same ingredients I observed, but reading the description nothing stood out to me that I wanted to try, however I did give "Love Potion" a shot & didn't like it. The bitters in the drink is overpowering & the taste itself just wasn't good. I literally took a sip & asked the server can I have something else, which I just got a regular drink because I didn't wanna experiment with anything else. For food we tried the avocado toast with crab crostini, deviled eggs & meatballs. The avocado toast with crab didn't have enough avocado spread on it. It's like they did a dolly of it. You should have a pieces of crab & avocado with every bite but some of my bites were just bread smh. With the deviled eggs you get 3 which is very odd because when you cut a egg in half it's two, so where's the other half of the egg?!?! I only ordered the meatballs because I saw a review that said it was good & I wanna know if they think that's good, I would hate to find out what they think is terrible! Those meatballs were absolutely disgusting. The texture was off, it was too soft & I didn't even know if it was seasoned because it's drenched in hot sauce. I guess they figure hot sauce is the seasoning?!? I don't know, but it was disgusting. Overall my experience was not good, however the reason I gave the two stars is because of the place itself. They have outdoor seating (it's a small space) so on a nice day you might wanna sit outside vs inside. It has a cozy feel to it, which I enjoy. I'm happy they have a full bar so if you don't want wants on the menu you can get something else. They really need to see about switching the menu up though.
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
It's a swanky spot. The most interesting thing about the place is the sunken seating around the bar. It's Instagramable as all get out but it's not conducive to groups so we sat at the normie tables in the rear. The cocktails are in the $15-16 range and are your average strength cocktail. Which for me means I'm going to run out of money before I get a good buzz working. I'm never getting drunk at a cocktail bar. That's not what it's for. It's for tasty drinks to keep your hands and mouth busy while having good conversation. It's not a noisy bar so it works very well for that. There are also some small bites to keep you pleasantly occupied too but I wouldn't try to make a meal out of it. I'm putting Honeywell on my date-spot list. I want to come back and lounge around the bar like a circa1970s Bond girl. I just found an outfit that would be perfect for it.
google avatar

Eneas N.

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in my neighborhood. While in small portions, the food is fantastic. Perfect to share and chat. The servers have been consistently good. They have come and go, but I'm friendly with all. Some we even follow each other on social media. Not that it matters, but it does bring a wonderful aura of community. It has a unique 70s speakeasy vibe and a great patio where you can bring friends and dogs in the summer. This bar retains something most bars around it (the two next to it especially) have lost, soul.
google avatar

Allen B.

Yelp
Came here at the end of the summer for drinks. Sat in the backyard outdoor area. Service was prompt, I had a few drinks and the meatballs, which were tasty. Wifey enjoyed herself as well. Not a dinner spot per se, but a good place to come from drinks and bites as opposed to a meal that'll stuff you.

Yelp
warm and smooth. service was kind and great. food was tasty. drinks sparked curiosity!

Yelp
I was in Harlem doing a little shopping and decided to link up with my bestie for some drinks. I've been trying to come here for the longest, but there was always something preventing me from getting here, but I finally found the time and wasn't disappointed at all! A cute little bar/restaurant with a swanky outdoor seating area in the back that serves lite bites and great cocktails. Reservations are preferred but not necessary unless you want to secure or guarantee a seat, especially if you're with a large party. The indoor seating area is very dark/dim yet cozy. If you prefer more lighting, especially when the weather is nice, I'd suggest sitting in the outdoor garden. They don't serve any of their exotic cocktails in the outdoor seating area; it's only for indoor seating or at the bar only. I wanted the drink that's served in a bathtub but was told I had to be seated inside or at the bar :( We ordered up a few lite bites off the menu, and everything was delicious, especially the deviled eggs. The food, the drinks, and the service were wonderful. I would definitely stop by again! Ig:@Soooomuchfun

Yelp
I absolutely love this bar; the ambience and lighting the noise level and the people. The cocktails were amazing. The appetizers were delicious. I will definitely be returning. There was a happy hour special that was worth my time. If you like deviled eggs theirs are tasty. The crab cakes are lump and the presentation is notable.

Yelp
We stopped here for the second time on Father's Day afternoon. Love this place! Everything from the perfect service, to their beautiful sunken long bar, to their very quaint outdoor section in the back, to their low key overhead music, to the $11 happy hour old fashioned. Yes $11 for a very well made cocktail still lives in NYC! Thank you guys, our third visit will be soon.

Yelp
I love this place so much. Intimate, hole in the wall, 70s dive bar feels. It's always a good time here. Drinks, food and service have always been good. Will always recommend for a chill + intimate vibe.

Yelp
This place is a cute small and intimate place. The service was great. My bartender was very kind and attentive. I didn't try any of the food but I'm sure it would be amazing. I quickly pass through, but would definitely go again.

Yelp
Well I'm new to the area and had a TERRIBLE day so I decided to try this lil hideout for date night last night . I didn't know what to expect but I definitely didn't expect the 70s themed honeycomb hideout lol . We walked down the stairs to enter this low key bar and was pleasantly surprised . Our hostess, waitress Keily was able to get us seated rather quickly even though there was a 30 min waitlist (I truly am starting to believe I am good luck- I almost never wait for seating) We ordered our drinks , yes I had a drink- actually a couple and our experience begins . He ordered the monk fashioned and I ordered a beet down and some deviled eggs and chicken meatballs from their tasting menu . Our drinks arrived and although tasty, they were weak . EXTREMELY weak . We could've left but we were enjoying the music and the food and besides, I never want to end a good vibe so we decided to stay . We decided to order different drinks . My 2nd drink was called the one and he ordered another Monk fashioned (double shot) and I decided to order more food . Now thoseeeeee drinks ?? Yesssss ! I think next time we're just gonna order double shots for our drinks . Anyway- overall we had a great time at Honey well and the food was delicious . If the drinks hit the first time the ratings would've been higher and the meatballs had feta cheese, which I did not enjoy .

Yelp
This place is an amazing local staple of Uptown. The vibe is always pure and authentically cultured. They have a Soul Glow ad on the walls inside, which should tell you what era you step in once you visit. I went on my own and had a 50/50 Bols Genever Gin Martini with "a little dirt", and my bartender Mark did a great job executing my cocktail. I've been there in the past and have had the Monk Old Fashioned, curated by the talented Chuy Gallardo, which comes served in a smoker. Started with the Deviled Eggs, which come in a set of three. Ate the Strawberry Salad (comes with julienned prosciutto) and added the Skewered Chicken Thighs to my salad. Everything was well portioned and well seasoned. Ended with an Oreo White Russian Crème Brûlée which was almost like flan however not so sweet or dense. A mint leaf atop adds a refreshing bite to the delicacy. Music is always 70's/80's soul and funk, also might be a weekday Happy Hour. Also! Note that the entrance is DOWNSTAIRS. Think Pink Elephant or Louie & Chan. Dope spot.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Such a swanky and fun bar!! I'm super bummed I didn't get to try the food here, but I fully intend on going back for that menu. Everything looks so snacky! Whether sweet or salty, my mouth is watering just reading about shrimp rolls and donut bites. Anyways, I came to Honey Well on a date, only for a few drinks before Speakeasy-hopping and dinner. While they do take reservations, we were walk-ins and got seated immediately at the bar. Probably because it was close to when they opened. I looked around and ogled at the delicious-looking cocktails in cool receptables. I got the Vivi Con Fuego (mezcal, rosemary simple syrup, black pepper) which was tasty, but I was a little jealous of my date's cocktail in a tiny bathtub with a rubber duck!! SO CUTE. And still practical to drink. Walking around the bar and towards the back was an adventure. Everything is so cute. Great service, upbeat vibe, and a detailed website you should check out.

Erik A.

Yelp
All time favorite. Delicious cocktails (get a Monk Fashioned), super fun 70's themed menu (but still delicious). Some of my favorite servers/bartenders. This is our neighborhood spot. 70's vibe here is always a blast, 11/10 recommend.

Yelp
Such a cute bar. The drinks are a little sweet, but they're still a good spot for a fancy cocktail in Harlem. Also the food is delicious. I had the Beyond Tacos, shrimp rolls and crab crostini - All really good. The staff is attentive. The bar isn't huge - small spot, but very well done decor and tunes.

Yelp
I was disappointed with this cocktail bar. Aesthetically, the place is gorgeous! It's small but cozy and cute! A friend of mine and I made a reservation for Saturday night and were seated immediately. The service was extremely slow but the waitress was kind. They seem to be short staffed. I ordered the Beet the Tiger drink and loved it! It was my favorite part of the night. For food, we had the mini shrimp rolls and the cocktail meatballs. The mini shrimp rolls had great flavor (like a yummy lobster roll) but the bread was either too old or over toasted which put a damper on my meal. The cocktail meatballs were just ok, nothing special. Lastly, we got the donut bites and they were extremely disappointing. They tasted like undercooked, under flavored Pillsbury dough. They were simply inedible. I gave this place 3 stars more for the drinks which I think are worth a visit to try.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at THE HONEY WELL. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The flavors in each dish were outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience! I was also impressed by the charming ambiance at honey well . The cozy and inviting atmosphere added to the overall dining experience, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful food and attentive service.

Yelp
If you're hungry and looking to grub on a hearty filling meal, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. Honeywell seems like a coffee spot where you can possibly do work and have meaningful or important conversations with friends over appetizers and drinks. My friends and I just finished a bike ride and decided to stop by here because we were hungry and based on the stellar reviews. There's an indoor and outdoor area where the indoor seating had a 70s vibe with the music to match. There's no music outside probably because Honeywell is located at the bottom of an apartment building and the noise might be too loud. Food: Although, it was good, The food portions are very small, like SUPER small and there aren't that many options on the menu to choose from. This was a bummer because I was hoping to eat and I left the restaurant hungry. The drinks were nice and sweet but not much alcohol. The Scotch drink may have been straight and was the strongest drink at the table but my friend wasn't too fond of it either. There was a special presentation of the drink by the waiter which was...interesting. No dress code or anything so you can come as you are.

Yelp
Upon entering this hideaway spot the Host welcomed & accommodated me with a seat in their beautiful & spacious wood bar. The bar is stacked with a vast selection of drinks but their signature drinks are amazing. I tried the El Chingon which is a very aromatic & refreshing tequila (Mezcal) drink with a taste of lime & lovely color. For the second round I had the interactive "Vivi Con Fuego" made with Mezcal, Cazadores Blanco, cucumber & sage to name a few. The drinks were perfectly balanced & a delight to enjoy over some cool, vibrant & diverse music selection. The bites at Honeywell also delivered. I had the crab avocado crostini which is simply put delicious & fresh, it will leave you wanting a double. The Deviled Eggs had nice texture, taste & bacon bites & arugula complimented both dishes. The bathroom is clean & decorated like the 70's with sliding bathroom doors & old style Victorian sink. Make sure to check out the rear of this bar for it has comfortable, private booths & additional seating for groups. This spot deserves a 4.5 Star rating & only reason I say that is the food menu could be expanded & there is only 1 TV & it is of the time - a small black & white one. Good spot to get to know or reacquaint yourself with someone special over a nice drink, light dish & conversation.

Yelp
DELICIOUS drinks, amazing vibes, and cute interior decor. It's in the basement of the building so look out for signs and head down the stairs. My group of 7 came here during happy hour on a Tuesday night without a reservation but if you come on a Friday or weekend with a group that big, definitely make a reservation. The HH is $11 cocktails and $1 per deviled egg. I normally do not like cocktails anywhere I go but the mojito I had here was hands down the best I've had in NYC so far, and other ppl in my group were also raving about their drinks (margarita, last word, and negroni). The deviled eggs were delicious too. Highly recommend this place!
