The 18 Best Happy Hours In Philadelphia

"When: Monday-Friday, 4-6pm The Deal: $4 Beers, $7 Glasses Of Wine, and $5 Snacks If you’re into beer, head downstairs at The International in Fishtown where they have bottles, cans, and drafts from all over the world. And if you couldn't care less about that last sentence, stay on the first floor where there's a bar made out of an old airplane wing and a menu of good cocktail standards like gimlets and daiquiris. Also, cod fritters. There are cod fritters. " - candis mclean

The International Review - Kensington - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"If you’re into beer, you’ll want to hang out downstairs at The International - where they have craft bottles, cans, and drafts from all over the world. Upstairs, on the other hand, you’ll find a bar made out of an old airplane wing and a menu of cocktails. Whichever floor you decide to spend your time on, though, you’ll be able to order food from their bar menu. It has things like charcuterie boards, sandwiches, and skewers (that are only $1 each during Happy Hour)." - Sydney McElwee

Where to Get Takeout Cocktails in Philadelphia | Eater Philly

"Outdoor seating is available at The International but if enjoying cocktails in your own backyard is preferable to being serenaded by the the sounds of the El passing overhead, the bar’s takeout team is mixing up everything from Sichuan-scented Negronis to a golden turmeric gin fizzes and a CBD-spiked tequila cocktail." - Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme

How to Spend a Big Fat Weekend in Fishtown, Philadelphia | Bon Appétit

"If you’re doing pre-dinner drinks in Fishtown, you best head toInternational Bar. You’ll walk in, and say to yourself, “Oh, nice, this bar looks cool. Good list of beers and cocktails. Dude spinning vinyl. Awesome.” But then you’ll spot a weird, little carpeted staircase, and now you’re like, “Wait, there’s a second floor? And they have 20 bottles of vermouth on tap? And some of the best vintage bar memorabilia I’ve ever seen? And a bar made from airplane wings? And a right angle hand shuffleboard table? What is this place?!” Yeah, it’s pure radness. Be careful, this is the kind of spot you can spend a lot of your time—and unexpectedly end the night at too." - ByAlex Delany

Before heading over to dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, we decided to grab a drink at Intl Bar. Small, yet retro vibes. We received a nice welcome and were able to order from the HH menu—Salt & Pepper Wings and Waffle Fries. Both food items were yummy! Things came out hot, as in, temperature, and the sauce/dips for both paired well with the two.

I love this place the bartenders the design the vibe. They've nailed it. Not pretentious but still very cool. Great cocktails and skill behind the bar. The food is really good and I love the happy hour here!! Go!

Google
This is a cozy bar with a solid draft list and food offerings! The staff are attentive and engaging…but gives you enough space to ask for recommendations but not overly pushy about their favorites! I enjoy the salt & pepper wings along with the shrimp sticks! The Happy Hour begins at 4p and lasts till 6p! There was a $7 Gimlet and it was pretty good! I would return because it was an easy going atmosphere.

They have a variety of beer wine and cocktails. The white negroni is my personal fave. The food is amazing, 2 different floors plenty of space but cozy. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive

Google
I love this place!! I went for the first time last night and if I lived closer, I would definitely come here regularly. The bar has two different vibes depending on if you're downstairs or upstairs. Downstairs is kind of indie rock while upstairs was more classical. The menu was adorably retro and their cocktail selection was really well crafted. I'm hit or miss on mezcal drinks but I got the holy diver because when I see unusual cocktails, I must try them. I was not disappointed! The combination of flavors was subtle but so well done and the mezcal was so smooth. I went on to get a second mezcal cocktail (Vietnam bar) and it was just as good. Our server was perfectly attentive and I had a great experience here overall. Can't wait to come back!

Google
Bar + food with a ton of options! I can't recommend this place enough, I can't say much about the alcohol (silly since this is mainly a bar) but DEFINITELY come here for the Katsu Sandos! We came here entirely by chance while walking around hungry and boy am I glad we did. We were super surprised to see a Japanese staple on the menu and it was absolutely delicious. The bread is incredibly soft and is most likely delicious milk bread, the sauce is perfect and the chicken is crispy and delicious! I personally only liked the Girls On Film cocktail out of the lot, and the others i tried weren't that good but but I'm not willing to drop a star for that since the sandos were that good. My friend had the shrimp po boy and it was just as tasty too. I already came back for the katsu, but I definitely need to come back to try more of the cocktails. Service is great and everyone's nice, vibe is very nice as well and they have outside tables too. They have tons of events and stuff too so make sure to drop by!

Google
One of my favorite bars to stop at before/after dinner in Fishtown. Great cocktails and one of the best Guinness in the city! The waffle fries are in my top 5 of all time. Plus the hot dogs are exactly what you need on a summer’s day! There’s live music sometimes and it just makes the chill happy hour spot into a fun night life spot without getting to crazy.

Google
The bartender was not glad I was there. He was mute. Tired of places that are too cool for school. The drink selection was also too herbal/floral/fragrant for my taste but my partner enjoyed them.

Yelp
This weekend was the first trial where they opened a place outside attached to the bar trialing new brunch options. Fresh orange juice - super super refreshing and banana Nutella pistachio crepes super delicious. Loved it! I hope they stick around. The service was amazing and friendly staff.

Yelp
The international bar is a great place to grab drinks. Both seating inside and outside they offer fresh cocktails with wi earful service . A laidback vibe that offers something for just about everybody.

Yelp
Surprisingly I had an amazing tiramisu here. It is home made, and I feel like it is made by an Italian nonna. It has nice layers soaked lady fingers with creamy mascarpone instead of whipped cream. It's not too sweet or bitter. Perfection. Not a very spacious place. Definitely has the city vibe as you are serenading by the sound of Market - Frankford line passing by. I had an unpleasant experience when a guy behind me fell on my back. There is more space upstairs that opens at 7. It opens at four but when I went there they were open at three for Liverpool game. Salad has a very thick dressing. You can skip it. Smashed burger : my husband enjoyed it although he's disappointed with the half speared pickle.

Yelp
I would not recommend this establishment at ALL. I was ignored by the bartender multiple times, even after I politely tried to get his attention. When I finally went up to him directly to ask if he could assist us, he responded by saying, "I don't answer to people waving at me." Prior to that, we had already asked his coworker twice if they could help get his attention for service. When he eventually approached us, his first words were, "Are you going to tip me?" before walking away without taking our order. At no point did he seem interested in helping us or offering a respectful level of service. The way we were treated felt targeted and dismissive, and it made us very uncomfortable. Being ignored, dismissed, and spoken to in such a manner is completely unacceptable. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Yelp
The drinks are amazing, the bartenders are fast, there's plenty of staff to get drinks out quickly. Love the espresso machine right behind the bar too.

Yelp
Based on personal experience and what I've heard from others, DO NOT GO HERE. Their workers are known to be racist and disrespectful overall. Management was dismissive and far from helpful when complaints were made about their behavior. It's ironic that it's called the "International" bar. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

Liyah W.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would!! The bartender was very rude and refused to serve me and my friend. It didn't make it any better that we were the only African American people sitting at the bar that was denied service. It was very distasteful. If you're a person of color I would not recommend.

Yelp
Cute little spot in Fishtown with excellent cocktails and a diverse drink menu! I have only been for drinks so cannot speak on their food but definitely recommend going for cocktails at the least.

Yelp
Came by for cocktails and a snack on a nice sunny day. We sat outside - it wasn't that busy for a Saturday afternoon so we got a table right away. They have a number of creative craft cocktails. If I could I would've tried them all! I ended up getting the Palabra Ultima, a drink with Mezcal, ancho, and lime. I asked for it extra spicy, which is how I like my drinks, and they obliged. Let me tell you it was perfection! I also got the Octopus Skewer which was 4 bites of octopus for $9 - definitely on the small side, but tasty and cheap. The service was not great. No one came by to check on us and eventually we had to flag someone down for another order of drinks. Sadly, the consistency was not there because my next Palabra Ultima was sweet, not spicy. I asked if they could make it like the first one and the waitress took it back, but the remake tasted the same. It was disappointing.

Yelp
Wow. I feel like I owe this place an apology. Our friends live nearby and are regulars, but we'd put off trying it with them. My husband loves their sign and was even gifted a cool shirt with their logo. But for some reason I thought it would just be a dive bar that our friends frequented out of convenience, not because it was as awesome as it actually is. As soon as I saw the menu, I felt shamed for underestimating them. This place has an impressive menu of food and specialty cocktails. Every drink we had was excellent. My husband loved his first drink so much that he opted to let the bar choose his 2nd drink. He chose the spirit, and they delivered a fantastic drink. Our server brought it to the table, then hung around to "chat" but really want to make sure my husband liked it. That was very cool of him. Their food is far better than just deep fried pub grub, too. Someone is getting creative in this kitchen. Good small plates that are great for enjoying with an excellent cocktail.

Yelp
What a lovely spot for a late afternoon happy hour. I came here with my friend Jennifer to catch up after not seeing each other for five years. I was pleased to see they have non-alcoholic options too. We sat outside at a picnic table while I told her all about the dating misadventures that unfortunately follow me like a stray dog. It was a beautiful day for a Modelo. I was stoked to see they have trivia nights and will be returning ASAP to school everyone in the bar with my endless supply of useless knowledge. Dating can be a trivial pursuit but at least there are places like The International Bar where I can complain about it to my friends. Overall 10/10. The friendly service and cute bartenders were an added plus.

Yelp
Came here for Wednesday's "Name That Tune" and it was fun! They do it on the first Wednesday of the month. It was busy so we sat outside at first. Got the crispy potato and salt and pepper wings for appetizers. The potatoes had allium ash on them, very new and interesting, just could've had more flavor all together. The salt and pepper wings were so good, so lots of flavor. Good vibes

Yelp
Very quaint bar! I was expecting a fancier place given the website and it being a cocktail bar, but it really wasn't! The staff was great. Drinks were good and decently priced. The vibe was chill. Would definitely come here again!

Yelp
Mediocre at best service. Few times we have been there, number of items on the food menu not available. Has a large awkward space on the street that is not utilized by any patrons ever but blocks neighborhood parking.

Yelp
Pre-COVID, I'd been to International Bar maybe 2 or 3 times, always loved the vibe, but never felt like I had enough of an experience to be able to write a complete review. After yesterday's visit, my impression that this might be one of my favorite Philly spots was resoundingly confirmed, so it's review time! The cocktail menu is fantastic, and there's a decent beer selection as well (cans and bottles only, I think). I confess I haven't tried the food, though there seem to be interesting options, including for vegetarians - probably not my kind of dinner place, and I don't do brunch, but maybe if I'm ever hungry during happy hour. Yesterday I had the Frisky Dingo, which was like an amazing frozen Old Fashioned (and STRONG). What really keeps me coming back even more than the great drinks is the music and atmosphere. The bustle and energy are reminiscent of what you'd feel at a French bistro. In the past ( and it seems to be the case that they're continuing this now) there were fun musical programs most weekends - last night was DJ Baby Berlin's A Black Celebration (though the acoustics were pretty weak outside, it was hard to hear anything), and I remember Sundays with 1960s French pop (much easier to hear inside, and a lot of fun). It's the sort of place that's great to go to with a group of friends, with a casual date or life-partner, or even by yourself. This is one of the parts of Philadelphia I'm happiest to have back in my life in our post-pandemic transition.

Yelp
I just moved from Texas to Philadelphia, and wow I think I found my bar. We came on a Tuesday night, and they had a live DJ and a special drink menu for Tuesday. Personally, I think they just made Tuesdays 100% better. We sat at the bar, there's a couple of tables on the side and the bartender, Shawna did say there's a lot more space upstairs as well. Since we came during their Tropical Tuesday we didn't get to try their normal drink menu, however I will say if their special day drinks are 10000/10 I can guarantee their normal drinks must be heaven as well. We ordered the blue drink and it was sooo good. I felt like I was sitting in a beach. Shawna was the best, she was so attentive and was so quick with getting our drinks, when it was a very busy night. Everyone should go check it out, the drinks are incredible, the ambiance is fun, and the bartenders are fast and amazing!!!

Yelp
This place is great. The food, the drinks, the service, and the door people are awesome. The ambiance was fantastic as well, we had a great time. Quick note to the management: we were told outright "we don't do well with big parties". We showed up, we bought a ton of stuff, we tipped heavy. I get it, you have high turn over for cocktails, and I'm sorry to spring that on you. But if you're turning away big parties because 'you don't do well with it', might be something to reassess.

Yelp
I was a big fan of the International Bar after stopping by here for drinks before a dinner reservation in fishtown. The bar wasn't too crowded and there is a downstairs and upstairs area. They have lots of cocktail, beer and wine options. The bartender also noted we were really into cocktails and told us that the cocktail menus were different upstairs vs. downstairs. That's how we ended up getting drinks downstairs and then moving upstairs for another round. All of my drinks were really, really good. I like gin drinks and I was a fan of all of their options. My bf's drinks were also really good. I will 100% come back here in the future.

Yelp
Came here yesterday after being very disappointed by the lack of shade and non-hoppy beers at Evil Genius down the block. We had ridden our bikes up here from Center City to see the neon museum and saw both of these places on our way up and wanted to stop in on the way home. There was plenty of seating available at Intl in the yellow streetery outside so we grabbed a table after checking inside to make sure that was okay. We were happy to see this place is very dog-friendly -- there were at least 3 outside with us! (We don't own dogs, but like being around other people's dogs.) One dog was very upset when a baby started crying -- so protective, and it wasn't even her human's baby! The entertainment here was great. We looked at the menu via the contactless QR code on the table and I went with the Hefeweizen on draft. Much smoother than the beers EG had on tap. My husband got a pony bottle of High Life because why not. We also ended up trying the Chicago veggie dogs. Having been to Chicago in the last 2 years and eaten loads of Chicago dogs, I feel qualified to say this was a good take on it! The only thing I would change is to add the green relish (keep the pickle too!) and tone the mustard seed way down. I teared up a little eating that hot dog with all the mustard seed, haha. Our server checked in on us without rushing us out or trying to insist we should order more -- very chill vibes here. The to-go woman was on roller blades and I thought that was cool. Overall, a great experience and if I found myself back this way, I'd be more likely to just start here than at the brewery.

Yelp
If the revolving "happy hour" whirly-gig out front doesn't draw you in, the bright yellow doors straddling Front and Cecil B. Moore surely will. I'm going to be honest when I say that I've walked passed the International about a hundred times and only wandered in this weekend because Evil Genius was curating a hoard (for their birthday) that I wanted to get away from, but I'm happy I stopped by for a nice afternoon pick-me-up. The bar is cute. Small, but classy, and the drink menu features some pretty cocktail options, some classics, as well as some non-alcohol drinks as well. The first thing that stuck me about the atmosphere was that as soon as I walked in, I knew this was the type of bar that would have pretty drinks. I would've been shooketh if they didn't. If they served canned beers I swear if would've been shocked. That's not a bad thing, but as a lady who appreciates amidst expensive pretty drinks every once in awhile, I felt like I was hitting the spot this crispy Saturday afternoon. I ended up settling on the Gynspy Rose which featured Cucumber Rose Infused Gin & Lime and I was correct in assuming this drink would be pink. BINGO. I also decided to get the pickle plate, because I wrongly assumed it would be a $4.00 plate full of pickles versus an assortment of pickled vegetables. If it had been more than $4.00 I would've been upset, it honestly everything was a bit too sour for my liking. Okay at best. Would've been better if it was just different types of pickles (I'm literally an idiot for not reading though, my bbbb). Overall a cute bar, with a fun cocktail menu.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink. The space itself has an awesome feel to it. There was a DJ in the back and apparently there's live jazz music on the second floor for weekend brunch. The service was a little bit slower and not as accommodating. They were out of the peach purée for my drink and couldn't offer anything else and just told me to pick something else which was a first time for me with a bartender usually they are eager to come up with a solution and make a great drink. Not too much seating but it wasn't that crowded. Cocktails start at $12 they were just okay.

John R.

Yelp
Very good food and drink menus and service. Appealing vibe somewhere between community corner bar and a place where professors meet for thoughtful discussions. I'll be back!

Yelp
First of all R.I.P Shenanigans! Though my bereavement for that loss has nothing to do with two stars. Drinks are expensive, happy to see they finally got decent beer that's under 7 dollars now. I asked what the low cost beer was, bartender said "$3 highlife" I ask for it but it's one of those bottles that's 3 inches tall. I'm not paying a dollar an inch for fucking highlife. When you add to the fact that they don't really have low end prices for drinks with way over priced "tapas" style food you get 2 stars. The order of fries, one of the cheapest and easiest things to make, comes in a half cup container. I'm half waiting to see if I'm on candid camera to catch my reaction to how ridiculously small a portion of fries is. It's not just the fries though, with a tapas menu you are supposed to try a lot of small plates, which my group did. I spent way more than I should have, way more than I would have it I went somewhere and just got a sit down meal. Which is what we all had to do because even after spending over 25 a person on food we were still hungry enough to need to order a proper meal somewhere else. That being said the food did taste good, but there are plenty of other options that are as good or better for less money.

Yelp
Recently visited this spot to check out a new DJ there, Rooftop Sounds - ended up getting some delicious cocktails and appetizers. I enjoyed the lamb meatball. The husband tried the black pepper chicken - it was a bit overwhelming with the pepper. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the vibe + music.

Dave C.

Yelp
Weird, sub-par food. decent drinks served by rude bartenders. the vibes are always off no matter when we go.
google avatar

Y K.

Yelp
This place sucks. Generally terrible experience. Guys were rude (bar tender, bouncer, etc), reminded our table only to leave when other tables were left to finish up their drinks, and wouldn't allow us to wait inside for our uber. We also weren't told how to exit and then when we went to leave we were yelled at for taking what was apparently the wrong door. If an establishment is supposed to make you feel welcome, this place failed on all fronts. We won't be returning. Thanks.
google avatar

Steve J.

Yelp
This two story bar is wonderful. Each floor is dimly lit and has a warm and hip atmosphere. A great selection of crafted cocktails and beers. A nice go to for a great cocktail and bite to eat.

C. C.

Yelp
Only reason it gets two stars is because of the bartenders. The owner/manager needs to sit in the office somewhere and let the staff handle things. The guy comes running out as the bouncer is checking our IDs and tells us where we "can't go" and then tries to tell us it's "really crowded" on the main floor. My guess is he was trying to get us to leave because we didn't fit the bar's demographic. It was not that crowded and after a few drinks we went outside to finish up, and the manager proceeded to literally turn the lights out on us for no reason. It was still pretty early and I literally saw him turn the lights out. He then came outside and instead of thanking us or being courteous... he says the most snarky "adios" I've ever heard. Well done man. Way to treat people that spend money and tip your bartenders well. Felt completely unwelcome the entire night. Next time we'll be sure to dress like hipsters and take selfies the entire night. That seems like the clientele you prefer in there.

Yelp
Bartender was very nice. Very knowledgeable and kind. Waitress did not let us stack tho. Y? Waitress only let stack menu but not empty cans make no sense

Yelp
(to the tune of Tubthumping by Chumbawumba) (I head downstairs, then go back up again, This bar's got great vibes in Fishtown) x 4 You want a whiskey drink? How about a vodka drink? Don't want a lot to drink, some cheese instead, you think? There are some snacks to keep you fueled for good times. The songs upstairs will remind you of the better times (Oh, shuffleboard, shuffleboard, shuffleboard!) (I head downstairs, then go back up again, This bar's got great vibes in Fishtown) x 4 I've been waiting over 8 months for this spot to open up down the street, but the wait was worth it. Delicious affordable cocktails (looks like a spirit-focused drink program), beers from all over (hence: INTERNATIONAL!) and a cool food situation that's focused on light bites and sandwiches. I'm very into it all. The upstairs is like a totally different space, so choose your own adventure, and check out their happy hour for a budget-friendly kickoff to your evening!
google avatar

Marc S.

Yelp
Came for drinks. Was ignored for 20 minutes by at least three different people. Low talkers taking orders who get annoyed repeating themselves despite being 2 feet away from the DJ spinning loud music. Hipsters not looking to make friends. Do not recommend if you're not already IN.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
I don't stand in lines, even during post-pandemic day drinking, so when the brewery down the street has deservingly long lines of roving groups waiting, head down the block to The Internat'l Bar 4 great drinks @ the take-away bar (flea mkt across the way) or get a curbside-table (ask the roller skating angel) and order some excellent small plates. This little gem under the L is a watering hole with as many drinks on the menu as wanted, needed and recommended.
google avatar

Des R.

Yelp
This was a cute lil quaint late-night spot. When we got there we hopped on the last two empty seats at the bar. We only had drinks this evening, which is why I couldn't give it more than three stars yet. Our drinks, the Lovers and the Ace of Swords were very good. The Ace of Swords was very refreshing yet intoxicating (literally) and that always makes for a secure spot on the "Places to Drink" list. As we were heading out, we decided to take a look-see upstairs and who knew, there was a whole other bar that had a pretty nice crowd. We ended up having one more drink, the waitress was super sweet and the atmosphere was more upbeat than it was downstairs. Not that the downstairs bar wasn't cool, it was just on a different vibe than the upstairs bar. IDK if that's the norm, but i thought it was pretty cool that you had a choice of moods in one place. I will def return to check out the food and of course for the libations.

Yelp
Love this place. What a neighborhood gem. They've been great at adapting during covid and it's been my go to spot for socially distanced cocktails.
google avatar

Jamie D.

Yelp
Int is a cute bar inside with great drinks and snacks but I especially love the upstairs which has a really homey feel and who doesn't love shuffle board? I'm writing this post Covid and although I miss the indoors of Int I especially love them for how well they've adapted. They have a frozen machine with rotating frozen cocktails, my favorite so far has been lemon, lavender vodka. Yum! The cocktail to go selection has also been incredible and my favorite in fishtown since cocktails to go became a thing. They have stand up tables around the order window (6 ft apart of course) but have also set up picnic tables in the parking lot across the street with umbrellas so you can sit and enjoy your delicious cocktail, frozen or beer. They have also been doing $9.50 lobster roll once a week, yes I said $9.50 and they're delicious. Be sure to get some delicious waffle fries on the side. Sister bar to JBs and Standard Tap and all in all a really great place!

Yelp
Top 10 bar in the city without fluttering an eyebrow! The Negative reviews in this forum, are just being conjured from weak minded people who hide behind phone screens have friend groups that lie to each other about there actual reality. The staff is grounded and exceptional, humanistic with highlights of pure kindness. It's a business! Therefore they are professionals, therefore rules have to be set. Having a good time as well as being protected is a luxury a small amount of people take for granite. The door guy as well as the rest of the security staff there does everything in there power to do that each and every night. He's one of the best if not the best, period no question. All in all... Amazing bar despite the feelings of those who just enjoy kicking down sand castles because they don't know how to build one.
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
Really interesting cocktails--both classic and modern--and delicious snacks. Come during happy hour and you'll be surprised at just how much you can get for a decent price. The bartenders are so knowledgeable and charming and they do a good job of rotating cool and interesting DJs. If you're looking for a challenge, try the shuffle board upstairs!

Yelp
I loved this bar when it first opened but my last few experiences have been really disappointing, the last one just plain awful- I left before ordering anything. I've lived in the neighborhood and have frequented bars and restaurants here for the last 10 years. Carding at the door? Fine, I get it. Hand stamps? Ok is some sort of club? Bouncer type security guards that harass you into leaving??? Umm no thanks, there are plenty of other bars to patronize. I came here last night to have a fancy vermouth after dinner out with my friend. I had leftovers from dinner in a take out bag. The bouncer informed me that I could not bring it in but could leave in on this table by the door. I didn't feel comfortable leaving it unattended so I tucked it into my quite large tote bag purse and went upstairs. (I fully admit to not following the instructions, I figured that I am responsible enough to not take out and eat my leftovers at the bar). Unfortunately for me the guard followed me up stair to ask me where my food was. "You can't have it in the bar." Ok, I'm not comfortable leaving it unattended so I put it in my bag. "Why can't you leave it unattended?" I just said it made me uncomfortable. "You can't have it" Ok, can I just throw it out? "I can't throw it out for you" Ok, bartender, do you mind throwing this out for? The bar tender tossed my half eaten burger in the trash. That's fine. Are we good? Apparently not. The guard then continued to antagonize me. After a few minutes I realized that he wasn't going to stop so I left the bar. I fully admit that I did not follow instructions, so yeah, I'm ok that they threw away my outside food. But I did not deserve to be treated that way. The whole thing left me feeling pretty shook up. I've never in my whole life had to leave a restaurant because the staff was harassing me. It's such a shame, I really like the food and drinks here. I really like supporting my neighborhood businesses. I don't think I can go back there after that.

Yelp
Great looking place, good music, great drinks... bad service. Bartenders are not paying attention, distracted, confused, usually unable to make half the cocktails on the menu. Service is lackingggggg.

Yelp
The first time I went there it was for Spanish Mod/Beat night and there were no problems. Drinks were good, not great (prices should be lower or drink size should be larger) and bartenders were polite. I tipped well, as I always do when I go out. The next time I went there, I was with two friends. One of my friends went to buy the first round of drinks and came back totally shaken up. This is a friend who is always friendly, always tips well and is never confrontational. She said that the dark-haired female, white bartender was incredibly aggressive and rude to her and that she wouldn't go back to buy more drinks. Next round, my other friend went to buy that round and she received the same treatment, so she tipped less than she normally would. My two friends wanted to leave after that, but I said "Wait, I'll go order and see what happens". My friends said that they didn't want any drink made by that bartender, not only because she is hateful, but because she also doesn't know how to mix drinks. It's true, I tried a sip of their drinks and was mortified at the horrible taste. I can mix better in my sleep. I still went to the bar and thought I might order something that doesn't require mixing, but when I asked the same bartender (the other bartender was always busy) what they had as far as cider or wine goes, she looked at me as though I am the worst person in the world and rolled her eyes. She began to aggressively say something that I couldn't hear because at that point the music was so loud. SO I walked away in the middle of her going off on me. This bar is a FAIL, and even though I live around the corner from it, I won't be returning. Not only are there plenty of other bars in the area that don't have these issues, but I can even host a cocktail party at my house and invite friends over and not have to deal with a hateful person who cannot even mix a proper cocktail.

Yelp
Hand shuffleboard table is in the shape of an L... never have I ever seen that before. Basically what I'm trying to say is, there are TVs and table games and a decent beer list. I would definitely return.

Yelp
Step into Disturbia. These windows are so film noir you will feel like you are in a Hitchcock film. Seriously! Check it out. Not only is the decor exquisite but the bartenders a delight.. the help is there for you around the clock and you will not go one minute without your needs met. The bar upstairs is made out of an airplane hangar, the whimsy is real and present folks! Stop by the international, and have no regrets in your decision :). Xx.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, awesome drinks, and very friendly staff and bar tenders. From the time we came in, we were greeted by everyone and they were very accommodating explaining and customizing drinks. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Yelp
We (2 humans) stopped by this jawn after a show in the area. It's definitely my new favorite bar in the hood, with the best cocktails I've had in ages. I started with a Negroni, which was solid but not mindblowing. The specialty cocktail I had after (name forgotten) was everything I dream of in a cocktail. Balanced, fresh, strong, and layers of flavor while remaining clean. Somehow there was a beet liquor in there too? Be still my heart. Aside from the bomb drinks, we loved the atmosphere, music, people, and service. It's funky and colorful with great lighting. The music was a perfect upbeat mix that made me want to stay around all night. We'll definitely be back from some of their DJ features. I'll mention that if decibel level is of concern, this might be the wrong spot for you (although downstairs seemed quieter.) Personally, I'm happy to hang in a kinda loud spot if the music is this good. Service was great. I talked with a few of the bartenders, both of which were nice, helpful, and attentive. No bad vibes in my experience. We didn't eat, but the menu looks delicious. Clearly, I'll be back.

Yelp
Service at the bar was acceptable, but kind of slow. They seem like they aren't used to be being busy. The security/"bouncer" was extremely immature. With the right staff it has potential, but I would recommend El Bar or numerous other neighborhood locations first.
