Really outstanding! I have always liked Greek/Mediterranean food, but TKS does it just right… wrap is more of a tortilla (that’s good, less bulky, lower carb!) they nicely grill it, meat is tasty, veggies are crisp/fresh… fries are 10/10! Great job, can’t wait to come back!

I had just arrived from the airport and went straight to The Kebab Shop, and I'm so glad I did! I had the pleasure of trying their wrap, and I was absolutely blown away by the flavors. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection, all wrapped in warm, fresh pita with the right fixings. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and tastes that left me wanting more. But what truly elevated the experience was the baklava I had for dessert. It was the perfect cherry on top of an already exceptional meal. I was also fortunate enough to be helped by Tulio during my visit, and I have to say, he made the experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through the different plates on the menu, explaining the ingredients and helping me choose the perfect dish. I highly recommend visiting The Kebab Shop!

I had a fantastic experience at this Mediterranean spot called Kebab. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked—no burnt edges at all. The environment was spotless, and the staff promptly cleaned the tables after each guest. The sauce station was also well-maintained. The owner’s attention to detail really stands out, even down to the high-quality, leak-proof containers for takeout sauces. It’s rare to see such dedication in a business these days. I hope they continue to maintain this level of excellence!

We came to Austin for the week and this was our first time here. Food portions are generous and so tasty. I had the bowl and my friend had the plate. Falafels were amazing too. Yuleny was very friendly taking out order and checked on us after our meal. Restaurant has extra yummy sauces so you can help yourself to more. They have one in Cypress, which is near me so I will definitely go again!!

Pretty good, especially for a chain! The only thing I would change is that I wish they used reusable cutlery and dishware. - Food: The food is fresh and offers a variety of flavors and textures. I got a grain bowl with falafel and nearly all of the toppings. The romaine seems to be cut by hand and not just from a bag (based on the narrowness), the falafel has processed and whole chickpeas for texture variation, and the saffron rice is aromatic. My partner got a grain bowl too with the chicken kebab, which was slightly underseasoned but better than being too salty. Perfectly cooked to temp, still moist. - Service and ambiance: the restaurant is clean, the cashier (Mariana) was very friendly and helpful, it’s not freezing cold (yay), plenty of seating inside and out, big windows - the restroom- clean, the door has a foot pull, and interestingly, there is a small rug around the toilet (not the most sanitary thing but homey?)

At Kebab Shop, I enjoyed a delightful experience with their build-your-own bowl option. Second time at the kebab shop for pick up order. Order was ready on time. The food was OK. I felt like the steak was maybe a little overcooked. The chicken was juicy. The rice was bland.

Freddy at the research location has made every one of our trips feel like we are apart of a family. He and the staff take great care of us. We order a multitude of things every time we come because the food is as amazing as the hospitality. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Straight up 5 stars hands down. My first encounter with this place was leftover style lol. My husband's work had a luncheon where this was catered and he brought home multiple catering tins for dinner - meats, rice, bread, salad, all the goodness. My second encounter was actually years later lunch delivery style. I ordered a bowl and let me tell you, they give you a bowl. The bowl was overflowing (literally) with all the goodness and they do not skimp on the meat serving. This day and age it's hard to find a place that gives you the amount of food you deserve for the price you pay for it. Fast forward one week after said 2nd encounter - Third encounter was a work luncheon catered NOT leftover style lol. We had a rep ask for recommendations on what to bring. Still drooling from the previous bowl I had, I requested Kebab Shop. Never mind the fact we just had this delivered the previous week - if that doesn't vouch for how good this place is I don't know how else to sell it to ya. From leftover cater style reheated to lunch delivery to directly eating it fresh catered lunch style (whoo what a mouthful - pun maybe intended) - this place hits all the right buttons: - amazing flavor - healthy servings - freshness and quality - consistency

We stopped in for the first time for lunch. We both ordered the Rotisserie Chicken plate. Includes two sides. I opted for veggies and Greek salad. Hubby ordered veggies and brown rice. They give you large portions and the food is very filling. I really liked all the sauces. Service was fast and the food came out quickly. This place was busy, but had plenty of seating. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

My family come to this place at least twice a month. They provide great service and friendly staf. Food taste are outstanding. Store is clean and lot of space.

Very yummy and pretty affordable! The shawarma is good and the meats here are very tasty. Their fries taste like mcdonald's but fresh and not as salty so that's a win in my book. You don't need all the fancy add on to make it taste good. The spicy sauce is also pretty good. I would come back!

Completely unimpressed. I ordered ahead for pickup. The menu and pricing were misleading. While building out our wraps, I noticed additional charges for every choice. I posted a picture of my receipt that was on my bag, and they don't even print the totals for you to see, I guess they don't want the upcharges to be known? Anyway, we also ordered 2 small orders of hummus, and small they were. The tiniest little spoonful I've ever seen, it was comical. And 1 small piece of pita bread. The wraps were big, but they were mostly lettuce and rice inside. A mere 2 tiny pieces of lamb in one, the lamb I was charged extra for. And the falafel wrap was also mostly rice and lettuce and 2 tiny falafel. Won't be back.

Place was clean Employees very polite. Food was cooked well but highly disappointed with lack of flavor. Everything lacked flavor. Even tried using the garlic yogurt sauce and fire sauce. Could just be a bad day and counted two guest while I sat down to eat. All the other reviews had me excited, hopefully when I'm back in town I will give another try.

Recently tried this place and thought it was out of this world! I made a bowl with chicken, saffron rice, and kale, and that white yogurt garlic sauce is truly the cherry on top. The kebab was superb also and a great size. Will order again!

I cannot believe I have been in Austin for almost 3 years now and I tried this place for the first time today!!! All you shawarma/Mediterranean flavor lovers, this is the place!! YUM! Tried their carved chicken bowl with saffron rice, it was DELICIOUS!! the chicken is so amazingly marinated and cooked, and the rice is also cooked to perfection with a subtle taste of seasoning. I cannot wait to try more from their menu. The service is smooth, This location is also really nice with ample parking space, spacious interior and very nice outdoor seating as well. WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE, right? :)

Was craving something fresh, quick and healthy for dinner and Kebab Shop came to mind! Last time I was here I was offered a little tasting of their Kale Salad from their awesome manager Abdel and well look it made me come back for more lol this time I got the Kale Salad, Greek Salad, Grilled Chicken and always need that Spciy Hummus! It is soooo good. Of course some sauces from the sauce bar too! Staff is always so helpful and kind. Food was served super quick. I'll be back soon :)

I've been to Israel and have had excellent shawarma. The Kebab Shop is fast food Mediterranean food, which I found to be mediocre after eating at Rumaan. Their saffron rice was bland. The lamb & beef gyro would have been bland were it not for the garlic yogurt sauce. The large portion of hummus was decent. For the same price of a plate, I would rather eat at Rumaan.

First trip to the Kebab Shop. Order at the counter in person or at a Kiosk. They will signal when your order is ready. There is outside dining - great for having a dog dine with you! I ordered the Saffron Chicken Bowl; my son ordered a wrap with lamb and all the fixings. Also got a side of hummus and pita bread. All was delicious. My Saffron Chicken Bowl had a mixture of saffron rice, pickled onions, yogurt sauce, tomato cucumber, and greens. My son's wrap had similar additions on lamb. We will both return for more!

The food comes as close as you can get to having Mediterranean cuisine. They have quite an extensive menu. I have yet to try other items. This restaurant is my go to whenever I shop across the street at the Arboretum. Good job guys!

Food and service were great . This place is very close to the hotel I stayed at and I loved the food and sauces that are self serve.

Super simple to order online and pick up. Food was prepped as I had requested; I asked for lots of individual separation as I had a hour long drive back home. The store was clean and tidy when I popped in to grab my food. The food was so tasty and I am looking forward to being back in the area to eat here again. Lamb & beef with the red spicy sauce - YUM!!

It was a good quick stop by, food was fresh, well presented and quick. More orders and customers came after us. They got busy, but looked like they had it under control. I always go with box and wrap, this time here I tried a plate, enough to share, kids meal was free with a purchase of an adult plate and a drink. Good deal. I liked this location better than in pflugerville, I think because of the vibes. But in overall o would go back to either location.

Hail the king of Kebab "Abdel" at the Arboretum store He welcomes everyone into the Kebab Shop as if they are family and gives impeccable service! Every time I eat at the Kebab Shop, the food is fresh, delicious, incredible, and never disappoints. The grilled chicken, hummus, and pita bread with chickpea salad make your mouth want more. The Kebab Shop's ambiance is a great place to have lunch, and dinner and pop in to get a to-go order. If you haven't tried the Kebab Shop you are missing out!

I LOVE their wraps and crave fries. The wraps are so big we typically split one and share some fries. We ate over 4 hours ago and I'm still stuffed. The sauces are amazing!! My favorite are the garlic yogurt and spicy cilantro. They are even better mixed with the fried. Yum! I see why they chose the name crave fries...because you will crave them!

Kebab shop I lurve you. Food is delicious, fast, and consistent. My guilty pleasures are the sauces. I can't believe I like a chain restaurant this much. So yeah, it's worth a try, y'all!!

We didn't have to wait long for our order. The food was amazing, even my kids loved it!

A pretty decent place to stop for a bite, the order came out really quick, I got the wrap with carved rotisserie chicken and there was nothing to complain about. Also, the portion sizes are quite large, the wrap was the largest I've seen, although perhaps not the most densely packed I've ever had. Came in around 7:30 on a weekday, and there was barely anyone inside, plenty of seats and surprisingly padded chair feet, so no sounds of aluminum scraping on tile!

Love this little find! I was in the mood for some med food and my fav was closed on Monday! I was in the area of the arboretum so thought I would check it out! The restaurant space is very open, clean and the staff was super friendly and greeted me when I came inside. You come up to the order bar and there are self service kiosks to pick your plates, wraps, etc! The manager came over and assisted me because I had never been there. I ordered a wrap with lamb and beef and the causes come with it. If you have 2 people they are huge and you can totally share. I ended up eating more than half because it was so tasty and fresh and they wrapped the rest to take home! I will definitely go back and try the falafels!!

Tasty and delicious! Portions were just right with rice, vegetables, and protein topped with their sauces. There are self-order stations if no one is present to take your order and the food came out fast and fresh. Plenty of seating and parking available. Enjoy!

Mostly good Kids eat free on weekends with and adult meals. Food itself is about what you'd expect. Proportions are pretty large. I got the wrap and could have easily split it. I'm guessing it was over a foot long. What makes this place above average is the kids eat free and the cool vibe.

Neatly prepared fresh food. We had chicken bowl with Saffron rice, grilled chicken and sides. Salad was fresh and their fresh are pretty good as well.

Amazing food, great service. Tender steak and such bold flavors. The jalapeño cilantro sauce and same for the flavored JC hummus are top notch. Highly recommend.

It's a franchise but who cares, it's damn good! Skip your gluten and diet fears and get the wrap. Mix in any sauce with a color and slam dunk into it.

Literally the best food in Austin and the surrounding area. The service is impeccable! Yonny at the Arboretum location is the sweetest guy in town! He made it easy to order and he even remembers his regulars! (Me!) The portions are the perfect size, I never leave wishing for more and the saffron rice is to DIE for. I come here after work and even though they are 30mins from closing they still provide excellent service. I would eat here every day if I could.

Anytime I'm in Austin this place is. A must stop for me. I don't knows hat it is that Houston can't mimic. The bread the sauce the meat?! It's gyros are amazing!

Maybe this place is better if you can eat more gluten, but I had a few issues with it. When we walked in, they have people there ready to take your order, but you can also order via a screen. Ordering via screen gives you a little discount, so definitely helpful if you place a large order! Unfortunately, the carved chicken was a little dry and the salad was cut a bit roughly for my taste. I did enjoy the falafel a lot, it was my favorite part of the meal! My husband got the lamb beef, which was a lot better than the chicken, but still on the dryer side. I'd probably go back again and try a different combo, but wish the chicken option was a little better.

This restaurant is highly rated by all parents coming up to the swimming state meet. We were looking for places near our hotel to feed about 30 swimmers that could be cost-effective and quick for us to pick up all the swimmers. The food looked so good and it smelt amazing. The NEISD Aquatics teams loves yall so much!! Super easy method to order and pick up. I recommend going!

Their Kebab wraps are awesome especially with carved chicken. Humus/pita breads and chick pea salad are delicious. Entire family loves it.

The food here is excellent! That fir hummus and the crave fries are a go to munchie food!!! The lamb beef doner is excellent and pairs well with the tasty cilantro lime sauce and yogurt tatziki style sauce!!! ** vegetarian food review ** We have had here twice now. Coz the food is amazing! The plate (or bowl as you might call it) and the wrap - it's full of falafels, salad and sauces. The portion size is very good! Also, the sauces they use are very flavorful. We also love the customizations that they allow which makes your meal perfectly suitable per your taste! We have only ordered takeout from here, so not sure how the ambience is, but it would be nice too!

Awful, awful customer service at this location. The food was good but the meat portion was not as big as the kebab I got at the Barbara Jordan location. I argued with the cashier about the 50% off of crave fries because he just didn't understand what I was trying to redeem. He also did not hear my drink order and therefore didn't charge me for it. My friend vouched for me. The music was too loud and the place could have been cleaner. Can't believe I had such a bad experience since I went to the Yelp Elite event at the Barbara Jordan location. Could have gotten so much more food elsewhere for $20.

Fantastic food, great for those of us with allergies, and consistently good. The service is fantastic, especially Yonny who always takes care of us and remembers us each time we come. Our kids are addicted to this place and I go multiple times per the work week.

First of all, this is one of few places that we have been to where the food is actually bigger and better than it looks on the advertisements! The quality of all the ingredients are FRESH and you can definitely taste and see the quality. The Super Duper Wrap is literally super and duper! The plate was on point with all the right flavors. The sauces are very flavorful and delicious which add another layer of love in every bite. The level of customer service provided by Yonny and Melvin to ensure that we were not only satisfied with our orders, but also made us feel at home by talking to us and laughing with us. The entire staff greeted us with kind smiles and a warm welcome where everyone actually acknowledged us and said, HELLO! If you are ever in the Arboretum area in Austin, TX, this is MOST definitely a place to come and try. The Kebab Shop here is very welcoming and orderly. Every table that wasn't occupied was very clean and all counter tops were spotless. The music kept us moving while we were enjoying our food. It was fun watching others, including kids enjoying their meals just as much as us. Shout out to Yonny, Melvin, and Abby again for making our first time experiencing a one never to forget. We will for sure be frequent customers from here on!
