The employees at both The Kitchen and the adjacent gas station were all very kind, from the guy ringing my order up to the woman making the most DELICIOUS cookies, to the guy making my sub. I got the Smokey Bandit, and just half was enough for one sitting. 10/10 would recommend.

Came in for a chicken ceasar wrap. Waited 15 minutes and had to remind them that I ordered (They served 4 people that came in after I did) and when I finally got it, there was almost no ceasar on it. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you like wasting your money.

I was in the area, so I stopped at The Kitchen for lunch. I got a bacon burger, fries, and a coke. It was delicious. Warning: the fries had a little zip. Not overly spicy, but enough to let you know it's there. :)

A solid deli. Pretty good food and the prices are pretty fair. Would recommend if you are craving a sandwich.

First time here. Apparently the burger comes with no condiments or veggies unless you tell them specifically to add them and they are NOT going to ask. Shame on me for assuming a burger would have something, ANYTHING on it by default like literally every other place on the face of the planet. To be fair, I paid to add the fried onions and bacon and I did get them. $10 far a dry, veggie-less burger is terrible. I’m sure the sandwiches are fine but I won’t be back.

Go get The Mikey on a Wednesday. You won’t be disappointed. All around great deli and great people

We often frequent The Kitchen for lunch. We decided to have them cater our Holiday luncheon for the second year in a row, and they outdo themselves with the cold cut sandwich platter. I/WE recommend The Kitchen for a quick sandwich or catering. CFAC Towing Team !!

Only time ever eating here, just passing through. Maybe everyone else got good sandwiches, but the one I ordered was really bland. Barely any condiments on it, the bread felt like day old bread from stop & shop.

I was in the area, so I stopped at The Kitchen for lunch. I got a bacon burger, fries, and a coke. It was delicious. The service was good and my food was prepared quickly. Warning: The fries had a little zip. Not overly spicy, but enough to let you know it's there. :)

The Kitchen.... Pretty creative place. Busy busy. Feel lucky if you get a place to sit. The food is pretty fantastic though. So if you're looking for great food on the go, this is your place.

A great, quick place to get an excellent sandwich. I usually get the Smoky and the Bandit. The staff is awesome, especially Mark. Usually it's tough to get a seat, which is indicative of a great spot.

Don't be put off by the location, the food here is very good fresh ingredients, prices are fair and so are the portions. My favorite items on the menu are the hamburger chowder, taco salad and the All American Cheeseburger with lettuce tomato onion bacon and topped with a fried egg.

The Kitchen is fire AF! (Fire emoji) The guys here hit the mark every time. We only order 3 sandwiches: Buffalo chicken wrap with no tomato, no blue cheese, add ranch Meatball with American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, green peppers, olives and Mayo- please don't ask And smoked ham, double provolone with deli mustard and Mayo. These guys get the Sammies done in less than 10 min and they are absolutely made fresh!! Want the best grinders and wraps this side of the river?? Come to The Kitchen!!

Really good sandwiches made with Boars Head ingredients. I ordered these to cater a business lunch and they were a huge hit. My roast beef had real horseradish and great flavor. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. You can order ahead on the Toast app.

Hours on site are wrong they close at 3 not 5. To get a sandwich it took 15min and there was almost no one in there. A chicken wrap and a water was $17. Super small and still hungry.

What a little gem this is! While waiting for our passengers at Bradley Intl, we had time to grab some lunch. I found this on yelp and the lady at the front desk at Signature recommended it as well. Yes, it's in a gas station, but it's not what you would expect. It's very busy and they have it down to a science to pump out great sandwiches. The meatball grinder was one of the best I've had. The bread was so soft and fresh that I couldn't stop eating it even though it was large. The staff is extremely friendly and they have a ton working so they can keep up with the traffic flowing into the restaurant. Definitely check these guys out! I can't wait until my next BDL layover so I can try more of their options.

The kitchen is located at the Philips 66 gas station along with Dublin donuts. I always go to Dunkin' Donuts for the coffee and especially since my daughter works there. But, I'm so tired of the same breakfast sandwich they have at Dunkin' Donuts. If your looking for breakfast sandwiches. Look n further. The kitchen makes breakfast sandwich. I wish I knew this a long time ago. I only thought they had regular deli meat sandwiches, chicken tenders, hot dogs and fries as well as salads. You can also go to the kitchen to grab Sandwich meat by the pound if you want. That I didn't know you can do. Until one day I asked if they sell meat by the pound. Then the next week I asked if they make breakfast sandwiches. And OMG they do! So much better than the sandwiches at Dunkin'. Not only do they make the sandwiches on their flat top. But, they use actual eggs you crack. Not the bagged eggs. And real bacon. You can also use other meats they have on the deli selections of meats they have. But, how can you beat eating bacon, egg and cheese on a fresh roll. If you are looking for some good decent size sandwich meat I suggest you try the kitchen first. The service is fast and they will try to accommodate any request you have. Just because it's not on the menu. Doesn't mean they don't make it. Just ask to see if they do. If they don't. No biggie. They have other items that I'm sure you'll be happy with.

Super cute place. Clean. Fresh ingredients. Home made meatballs. I will be back. I got the meatball sandwich and ordered the Smokey The Bandit (gluten free bread). Meatballs were tender and flavorful. Definitely made in house. Chicken was sliced fresh to order and the open kitchen gives you a front row seat to a legit operation. I will be back. Soon.

Price and portions are a JOKE I ordered a chicken sandwich. Hard roll which was like a dinner roll size,a half slice of a tomato 1 piece of lettuce and the meat was about 2 ounces I paid 14.00 with a tip and I'll never go back. It's a sham because the food (that you get) is good

We drive by here all the time and never thought about getting food here. Probably because it doesn't really pop out and I never search for sandwiches on yelp. We finally got take out here after a friend's recommendation and are so happy that we did. The ingredients are fresh and delicious and everything was put in perfect proportions. Also came in a pretty good portion. We will definitely be coming back here again esp for these work from home lunches!

It says it's open on this yelp app until 2pm but they are actually closed . Stopped here on the way to Bradley because the sandwiches looked so good but no luck . It's Saturday before 1pm

I called them kind of late not remembering that covid hours are a thing, but they still took my order and it was delicious! I got the jerk chicken ranch and the nuke and both were phenomenal. Each one had perfect balance of flavors and presentation was perfect. If we're ever in the area, definitely gonna come back and try some of their other choices.

Wow, what a great little find! Who would have thought that this amazing little sandwich shop located at a gas station would produce such amazing sandwiches! The place is huge, with a walk up counter to place your order. I got the sweet Italian sausage with peppers onions and a delicious mustard. It was absolutely delicious! I honestly wish this place was closer to me because it was so good. The prices were great and the food is top notch! Get here if you can. My only regret was not getting something with roast beef. Someone ordered it after me and it looked absolutely amazing! The Italian grinder is something I would go back for. It's the grinder I often get and the easiest for me to rate a place solely off of! If you can make an Italian, and have it be delicious... you are good in my books! So glad we stopped here!

AMAZING Reuben - it may have ruined all other Reubens for me forever, but I'm not mad about it! My only complaint is that I wish they were open for more days/hours - their current ones are pretty limited, unfortunately!

Favorite sandwich place in the area. I work near the airport and at least a handful of people from my office go there on the daily. Technically at a 'gas station' but it has a separate entrance. Very quick and friendly service

My favorite place! I could write an endless review about The Kitchen. The food, atmosphere, menu, and employees. I have been ordering from here for over two years now since I work in the surrounding area and I've never once received my orders less than outstanding. They have awesome weekly specials such as Taco Thursday's! I highly recommend.

Amazing food, great service and clean. They do TWO free sandwich days for military around Veterans Day and made hundreds of free meals.

Very good food although the only items I've tried were the chicken tenders and the jerk chicken ranch sandwich. Only problem is that the fryer is usually closed by the time I get in, must be because they're usually slow with customers around that time. I really like the jerk chicken ranch it's very spicy and since you can put it in a wrap it's easier to take it on the go. Good place to visit for a good sandwich and fries if you're around Bradley airport.

This unassuming establishment offers fresh, quality food for a great price. Additionally, the service is great, as the folks who work there are friendly and personable. Last time I went in I got a salad with grilled chicken on top, which is super simple but you could tell the chicken was freshly cooked and salad itself was fresh. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite to eat in the area.

Best Ruben in the State of CT. Amazing they did a free sandwich day for the Troops today. The Kitchen is a favorite lunch place when we're around the BDL airport. Staff is friendly, food is delicious, eating area is very clean and comfortable. 5 stars

I get real tired of the "italian cuisine" in this area. After 10 years of working around the airport lunch time gets mundane. This place was something the area needed. I call in my order then customize it and by the time I pull out of the driveway I know its ready for me. All the deli sandwiches are just how you want, and even better is Taco Thursday. There specials are a good change up and I have never had a bad meal! The place is maybe 1.5 years old but they still add items to the menu. Best deli around.

Don't let the gas station location fool you. These guys make some amazing sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and make the stop!

They have very fresh deli meat, the sandwiches are made right in front of you. I normally go for the weekly specials like cheeseburger chowder or the prime rib sandwich!

I didn't know the hours and got there as they were closing (sorry to be that guy). I ordered an Italian grinder and it was amazing, best I have ever had. Fresh cut meats and fresh roll. My only issue is I live 40 minutes away and can't go there regularly. Thank you!

IMO Best Deli in the area, and possibly in the State! Yes, it is inside the Phillips 66 where the D&D is, so getting gas, coffee and a great sandwich while traveling out of Bradley is easy. I work nearby and have been getting lunch here since they first opened and have always been impressed. The Boars Head meat sandwiches and tuna and chicken salads have always been outstanding and I've watched the menu expand to include all kinds of well prepared weekly specials like fresh tacos and steak sandwiches. I am also impressed with the cleanliness of both the kitchen and the seating area. To top it off the service is quick and friendly. Awesome, well-run deli, do NOT pass it up!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Great for armed forces members as well. A must eat in this area.

Provided our entire military base free lunch. The sandwiches were delicious (had a great boar's head honey turkey wrap). Service was excellent as well-fast and friendly. Would give them my business anytime.

Wow! We almost didn't stop here when we saw that it was in a gas station, but we were pretty hungry. However, we were definitely glad we did! Our daughters are the pickiest deli eaters around and they LOVED their BLT and burger. We have been on the lookout for a great take-out deli since moving here (10yrs ago) and we may have finally found it!

Their food is excellent. They have great daily specials. I have yet to be disappointed.
