Where To Drink Beer In Seattle

"A great neighborhood bar in West Seattle with a low-key cabin feel (if cabins doubled as art galleries with quirky stuff like a painting of a T-Rex fossil mowing the lawn). Between the beers on tap and the sheer quantity of bottles available, there’s something for everyone here. Mix it up with excellent bar food like braised pork tacos, pho-flavored meatballs with hoisin and sriracha, and blackened pork belly with cheddar grits." - aimee rizzo

The Seattle Happy Hour Directory - Seattle - The Infatuation

"When: Tuesday-Sunday, Open-6pm The Deal: $8 Wines, $1 Off Beer And Cider Whether you like your alcohol made from grapes or wheat, there’s something for everyone at Locol—a wine bar that’s disguised as a dive. Wonderful Wine Bars in Seattle

"Locol has a dual allegiance to beer and wine, with an emphasis on small Washington producers in a laid-back West Seattle setting. You’ll also find some covered, heated outdoor seating, regular live music, and locally sourced bar food from Greek meatballs to mac and cheese." - Eater Staff

Where to Eat Near the Washington State Convention Center In Seattle | Eater Seattle

"It’s sorta ridiculous to say that Loulay is overlooked, since it’s the brainchild of Thierry Rautureau, one of Seattle’s most celebrated chefs of all time. But it seems like no one ever talks about this place (anymore?) and that’s a shame. Rautureau’s thing is taking American standards and instilling them with his general francité, which results in dishes like roasted chicken with bacon lardons and Parisian gnocchi, Dungeness crab beignets, or a très français cheeseburger with bacon-onion jam, comté cheese, and butter lettuce (and an option to add foie gras)." - Meg van Huygen

Locöl Barley & Vine Review - West Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"When you want to drink a glass of something great but also keep things casual, keep Locöl Barley & Vine in mind. As you may or may not have guessed from the name, most of the wines are local, and the surroundings look like a cross between a low-key cabin and an art gallery with quirky stuff like a painting of a T-Rex fossil mowing the lawn. In addition to all the wine, there are plenty of good beers for your group to try. Plus, the food here (like pho-seasoned meatballs with hoisin/sriracha, slow-cooked pork tacos, and blackened pork belly with cheddar grits) is excellent." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
Just had some dinner and drinks here. This place is great. Honest, tasty, quality food. Top notch beverages. I wish I had a place like this in So. Cal. . Staff is great too. Don’t pass on some desert! Ron

This is the loveliest little place that despite its delicious menu and incredible cocktails still feels kind of unknown. Even friends that have lived in WSea for years haven’t heard of its existence. Even though I’d like to keep it that way, I’d much rather have it succeed and never go away. Also, got to meet one of the owners tonight, super nice guy with very kind friends. The bathroom even has VIP club-style amenities like toothpicks, mints and lotion. We ❤️ Locöl.

Great food and drinks. Enjoyed a NA cocktail with the seasonal crab roll, and shared spinach artichoke dip. Everything was delicious! The patio is small but cute too.

Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the heated back area. Very nice vintage decorations. The bar area was busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Made me feel like a local! 😜

Google
Frickin' DELISH. Everything was so flavorful and fresh, will definitely be coming back! Carnita taco was bursting with flavor, lamb was tender and not gamey, beet salad was tart and a great in-between palate cleanser, mac salad wasn't too mayonaise-y and also a good palate cleanser(a lil bland, but honestly it was a great compliment to all the flavors we had going on, pasta done perfectly) I am dreaming about another one of those tacos 🤤 Can't wait to go back and try dessert (and the mushroom french dip)! Small dining area, but seemed to work just fine. Had the football game on which was also nice. Service was friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend this place! (Sorry for lighting on the pics)

My fav neighborhood spot. It’s always a good time here. From great crafted cocktails and nice wine to really delicious food. And the service is always great. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip. The flavors are divine and the bread is melt in your mouth delicious. I also had the seasonal menu Elotes Caesar salad with added steak and it was sooooo good. My hubby had the tuna tostadas - and wouldn’t shut up about them. So I guess they were also amazing - I don’t eat fish. 🤣 seriously you can’t go wrong here. It is a smaller space so come early and enjoy the night. Also bar counter service is available.

This place was really great, went there on a Recommendation from someone else and we loved everything we got. Its a small place so on a weekend there might be a wait but it is worth it. You are also really close to other tables but everyone was pretty nice so it was fine, it was a good vibe. The cauliflower soup was so good, and they had their own unique take on poutine that was really good as well. Its a little pricey but totally worth it. Definitely will be back. The service was also great, they were really nice and accommodating especially since we were running late for a paint nite they got us our check really quick and were friendly about it.

Yelp
Learned that Locöl offers a Sunday Happy Hour, and here we are. As far as Happy Hour goes, the prices are whatever. $8 for a well cocktail seems standard to me, and not really like a deal. Same for the tacos... $4.5 for a single taco seems like normal pricing (so seeing that a single taco on the normal menu is $6 was a bit surprising)... That being said, the flavors were fantastic and the amount of pork on the Hawaiian and Carnitas tacos was hefty. Still unsure if it's worth the price, though. The atmosphere was super chill, the music was great, and the service was top tier.

Yelp
TLDR: If you're in the area - this is a great place to spend your time and money. If you're a local - congratulations this is your new go-to spot! Food: Shockingly good. I would make it a priority to get the Hawaiian mixed plate (just tell them to skip the arugula - super odd garnish that sours the plate). Vibe & Staff: Cozy neighborhood vibe. Staff presence is laid back and minimal, so manage your expectations here. Loud-ish pop music, a few LGBTQ+ flags in the building, as well as dog friendly (in the back). Drinks: As someone who if very particular and fussy with cocktails, I think you'll be OK / Happy here. This is not a cocktail bar but they do classics and new classics (again) shockingly well.

Yelp
We very much enjoyed our cocktails and lunch at Locol. The restaurant was clean, the servers were nice, and the covered back patio was comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Visited this establishment for some drinks and dinner with the girl friends. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. It's a small place but had no issues finding a table. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Street corn Caesar salad, pork plate, and carnitas taco...all were delicious! The cucumber smash was very light and refreshing. I also had the espresso martini which was perfection. I recommend stopping here is you are in town. It has a small town feel.

Yelp
This place continues to impress. The staff, food and ambiance sets the bar above the others. It's been nice to enjoy the outdoor seating while catching up on some emails and hanging inside as well. Keep up the great service and I will be back soon.

Yelp
A1 atmosphere, top tier libations and flavorful tacos, can't ask anything more. The well attentive and funny service was a topper. Upset with my wife cause she's been holding out on me. Already can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Fantastic service, I always try something new off the menu and have never been disappointed with the food, great ambiance and friendly staff. I love just sitting at the bar and eating and chitchatting with the staff.

Yelp
This place is great!! Easy going and fabulous! The food is so, so good. The spinach artichoke dip is like crack it's so addictive. The back patio is beautiful and peaceful. We have come here twice in four days and loved it both times. We'll be back for sure!!

Yelp
Adorable little local gem. The food was delicious. Don't miss the comfortable and cozy back patio to enjoy your drinksfood and conversation. Also, they have the most welcoming restroom I've ever been in.

Yelp
This amazing spot has the most adorable outdoor back patio. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Wine and Full bar but my favorite drink was an alcohol free moctail. So refreshing! Highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
The atmosphere is the best thing about this place. Everything else is mediocre at best. Went this week to give it another chance. Nope. service was slow and unprofessional (server spilled next table's salad on delivery, didn't even offer to bring replacement for the third of the dish that went in the trash. After they asked, all they got was about 10 blueberries --huh??). Food was just ok- bread ($8!!!) was burnt and when I mentioned it to the server she walked away. Flavors were ok, but nothing special. Questions about ingredients (food allergies) were flippantly answered, not helpful to find something that the person with allergies could eat. And my cocktail had no discernible alcohol in it. Invited a friend to join us for dinner and she declined because she, too, won't go back to this place. There are much better options in the area. Sorry, because it's a good location and has potential.
