Super cute bakery! I stopped by during a road trip for a coffee and a treat, and was incredibly pleased. The pastries and baked goods are delicious and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

One of the best cafes I've ever been to in New England! I had one of the best tomato bisque and caprese sandwiches I have ever had. The staff were a joy to talk to and the atmosphere was very charming. Love! Love! Love!

A must visit when in Stockbridge! Their gf options are incredible and all of their products are truly made to perfection. They also are surprisingly quick when there is a long line. My only regret from my last visit was I only got 3 macarons, next time I’ll get a dozen!

Cute bakery that sells an amazing baguette 🥖!! Their baguette’s texture is soft, chewy, and a bit crunchy, but not too hard. It goes so well with olive oil. The store is a bit small so it can feel a bit crowded but is very cute.

Cute and super charming place. Lots of unique and cute stuff to buy on top of their awesome pastries. We had lemon meringue pie which was AWESOME. Pistachio chocolate cake was very nice. And, oatmeal cookie has a nice chewy texture. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. Place is nice, clean, and charming.

The smell of butter melts you the moment you walk in. A great selection of classic and creative pastries. The chocolate chip cookies are especially delicious!

Awesome bakery! Our group tried many specialties. We particularly enjoyed the almond croissants, apple dumplings, almond pear tart and lemon blueberry scone. Highly recommend. Don’t miss this great local spot!

We stopped by this summer and were blown away by how wonderful this bakery is. We had the tomato soup, which was excellent. We’ll be dreaming about the lemon blueberry cupcake until next summer when we can have it again. The macaron was beautifully flavored and the texture was perfect. To top it off, we had an exceptional almond croissant. The place is small, but there are little tables outside to enjoy your treats while watching the happenings on Stockbridge’s Main Street.

Cute bakery in Stockbridge with spot-on croissants, I came here after a trip to the Rockwell Museum and thought this was pretty solid. The plain and almond croissants had the characteristics of thoughtful viennoiserie, as they were buttery and flavorful. The plain had an airy texture inside. The pear tart had a good crust and a nice pear filling, with a decent amount of almonds on top. Service was friendly and patient, as the lady in the front counter waited for me, as I tried to come up with my order. I was a little surprised that this place would be a good as it was, seeing that it's in a fairly touristy spot of town.

The setup of this bakery is exactly as if you had walked into a patisserie in Paris. It's located in the main street of Norman Rockwell's famous Stockbridge painting town, across from the general store. Keeping this in mind, you'll no doubt see a lot of tourists who probably have just come from the Rockwell museum and are wanting to see the town in person. I'm not supposed to eat chocolate but before I could stop myself, I ended up ordering a slice of this beautiful chocolate bundt cake ($3) a very generous slice. It was rich, and moist, everything you want in a bundt cake. We also got a chocolate croissant, as well as a giant sized macaroon. The macaroon was raspberry but had a pistachio filling that was incredible. This honestly was probably one of the best macaroons I've ever eaten ever. I didn't try the chocolate croissant, but I did also order a decaf latte. All of this came to just under $20, very reasonable. Service was great, beautiful ambiance, a definite stop must be had if you're ever visiting Stockbridge.

Cute patisserie with a variety of pastries and drinks. We got the chai which was more spiced (our preference) and wasn't too sweet with a cranberry oatmeal cookie. Check their instagram for daily specials.

Rather than go on a Caribbean trip limping to celebrate our wedding anniversary+my birthday, we traveled to the Berkshires instead. Plus it's close to home- and, I had a scheduled torn meniscus procedure 2 days later. While in town, we forwent the usual walking trails we enjoy during our trips and did more driving instead. With that came noticing The Lost Lamb on Main St in quaint Stockbridge for a quick bite. We've visited one other Patisserie in this town but it was time to try something new. The whip-smart, Cordon Bleu graduate who opened Lost Lamb has brought all of her Paris experience to this cute spot. Lost L. combines café, patisserie, bakery- and provides folks with everything from coffee, to pastries to buns to hot chocolate (tasted more like Swiss Miss) and a couple of meatless sandwiches and others with bacon in this fun-looking spot. There are also jams and small kitchen items for sale. The young gals are friendly and so was the owner- who runs her patisserie the way she wants to run it. I've never eaten a macaron in my life. And? To be quite honest, I rather have a real dessert. But I'm a passion fruit savage- so whenever I see it, I want it. Plus, this macaron, was slightly bigger than the typical ones. I went for it. And boy.....did it taste like Passion Fruit! And the chocolate middle, was a nice surprise! The mini apple tartlet I took to-go had sliced apples, almonds and frangipane nestled inside a golden+ slightly sweet shortbread-type crust. Hubs went for the Bacon+cheese croissant sandwich and a baguette to-go. The baguette wasn't the common one we get elsewhere- this had a lot of flour left over on the bread itself and my clothes. It was nice though. Price was decent and so was the service. And while Lost Lamb offers about 4 savory items- the bacon that's being cooked for the sandwiches, overtook the entire small size of this Patisserie and wished the place smelled more like her heavenly pastries she's showcasing. But listen, if you're in the mood for some indulgent pastries and packaged goods, Lost L. is worth checking out. That is, if you don't mind smelling like bacon all over you and your clothes.

The baked goods are insanely delicious. The chocolate croissants, the cupcakes and the raspberry almond loaf are some of my favorites. I love the little tables out front to sit and enjoy your wonderfully made cappuccino. Gives you a peaceful place to relax and enjoy a little treat. The service is wonderful and they did a fabulous job packaging up all the treats I took home to my fiancé. Can't wait to come back!

I love this quaint little patisserie in the heart of Stockbridge, Massachusetts that has such delicious options for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. As others have said, stepping into this adorable storefront it is like going to Paris without the jet lag. The bakery has such a welcoming vibe inside and there are chairs and tables outside where you can sit and enjoy your goodies. Wander around while your coffee is being prepared and look at the choices of jams, jellies, honeys and more that are for sale. The butter croissants are très délicieux and not to be missed. If they are open on days I drive past, I must stop and purchase several. One to enjoy in the car ( shards of crispy dough shattering everywhere), others tucked in the freezer for later. I love the almond croissants and pain au chocolat with the dark chocolate running though it as well. The pear and frangipane tarts are really special. They always have a large selection of gluten free options. I've gotten the cupcakes and cookies and you would never know they are gluten free. I do wish they'd look at doing some of those gluten free options to be dairy free as well. I am a macaron fan. I get a few every time I see them in a shop. These are really very good. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on brioche is gooey, melty and amazing. The epitome of a breakfast sandwich!

We enjoyed a quick Friday breakfast here, service seemed friendly enough and we saw many people stopping in for just a croissant or two. They have a selection of 4-5 assorted sandwiches and are open through the afternoon which is nice. The food is good and a nice option in town although we weren't overly impressed by the egg sandwiches. They needed to be jazzed up more with flavor or spice. It's a lovely place to enjoy a coffee and pastry.

The lost lamb has AMAZING coffee, especially their vanilla iced latte. Their chocolate croissants are absolutely to die for, fluffy and flaky on top, and packed with warm chocolate. This is the place to go for coffee and pastries in the Berkshires! Plus, it has outdoor seating, and a cute indoor area that sells gifts and trinkets.

These are the best and most authentic French pastries in Western Mass and beyond! The croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery and the sandwiches are a treat! The Lost Lamb makes it a challenge to enjoy other Patisseries quite as much, once we have been reminded what things SHOULD taste like!! Thank you for being in Stockbridge!

A delightful little bakery almost across the street from the Red Lion Inn, the offerings here include a lot of baked goods, sandwiches and drinks. They make a delicious, nicely seasoned egg salad sandwich (the sandwich selection is very limited, though), and the scones are wonderfully tasty. Their breads are good and they offer gluten-free, too. We enjoyed taking break and sitting outside as we munched down on our sandwiches, cold drinks and sweet pastries. A very nice way to pass time on a warm summer afternoon. .

Fast service and fresh sandwiches make for a great combo. Only outside seating, which is perfect on a fine summer's day. Enjoyed the mozzarella/red pepper on baguette, and the hot egg on croissant was a hit. Tables are plentiful (self serve). Nothing lost about this cute little lamb!

A treasure! I am so grateful for all the gluten-free baked goods. I am accustomed to entering bakeries and looking sadly at all the things I can't eat. At The Lost Lamb, I get to choose among so many delicious pastries! What a wonderful treat. (I still wish I could eat the croissants; they look stellar.) Thank you, Lost Lamb!

My family and friends stopped by the lost lamb after a productive hike on the nearby trails. The lost lamb was quite busy that day with the line wrapped around the storefront. The staff worked quickly to get our drink and food orders in so we didn't have to wait long. It probably helped that most of their items like sandwiches and pastries were already pre made and ready to go. I got the mocha latte and shared the pumpkin cupcake with the group. We enjoyed relaxing and sitting outside in the sun. The mocha latte was the perfect compliment to warm my body against the breeze flowing through the town. If you're into small cute places, with fancy looking pastries, decorations, and decent sandwiches, this is your place!

When you go inside, you feel like you're in Europe... The pastries, including the oatmeal raisin cookie, and the pear tart were scrumptious... Highly recommend! Wonderful service as well and nice ambience!!

Stopped by to grab a bite after a hike with friends. One of my friends entered and while I looked at the menu outside because I had my dog and didn't want to enter with him. One of the workers put up the closed sign on the door. I asked if it was alright if I spoke to my friend to let her know what I wanted and she said no and looked angry. Because I was surprised, I asked one more time and pointed inside the shop, and my friend was at the window waving. The worker then did agree to let me inside. My friend tried to order a tea and was told that they had already stopped serving drinks. I've always thought it odd that places close half of their shop when it's still open but I will say that this isn't unusual. However, I have to say that overall I was deeply disappointed with the staffs overall demeanor.

My husband and I came here for a late breakfast/eatly lunch. I had had one of their Bueberry Lemon Scones on a previous visit and wanted to have another. One of the best scones ever! Nicely short and crumbly and the blueberry lemon flavor combo is perfection. My husband had a Devilled Egg Salad Sandwich with lettuce on their own baked Ciabatta bread, which he proclaimed to be delicious They bake a variety of wonderfully flaky croissants, a daily tart, and a nice array of muffins. Their coffee is great as well (today the were out of espresso by the time we got there, but my latte on a previous visit was excellent). Outdoor tables only - very nice on a May weekend with perfect weather. Not to be missed. If you are too late for the Lamb, try Pecorino across the street, a small provision store run by the same folks, that carries their sandwiches, plus a variety of cheeses and other snack items.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. It's so blasted adorable- even for quaint Stockbridge. We visited July 4th. It was BUSY. I overheard one of the young ladies behind the counter say they'd already gone thru 5 bags of ice and it was only (I forget... late morning perhaps) x oclock. Anyway clean, well decorated, just a happy little space. Everything was soooo tempting. We had already had breakfast so we opted for two ice coffees (drip), a large chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate cupcake with pistachio frosting. You put your own cream and sugars in the coffee. Best coffee ever. I don't like mine weak. This wasn't strong persay but the perfect coffee flavor if that makes sense! I don't know why I chose this particular cupcake. Pistachio isn't my thing but I can't verbalize how amazing this cupcake was! A whole other level!! So light!!! So chocolatey and MOIST! To die for. And the frosting was the same- so so so light. Not overly sweet but packed with flavor. I'd drive 2.5 hours just for a cupcake! You just visit! And buy them all. Cupcake was $5. I believe the cookie was $3 and I have no idea how much the coffee was. Only one size- essentially a Dunkin medium.

It was fantastic!! An adorable interior and amazing pastries. I got the raspberry and vanilla macaron and it was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is also very good!! The service was wonderful and everyone was very kind. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Popped in here earlier today to grab coffee. Cute location but only a handful (2 croissants, 1 cupcake, a cookie and a muffin) of pastry options. This is the $8 prosciutto baguette "sandwich" but it's literally one slice of super thin prosciutto. I understand that prosciutto is expensive but this was pathetic. Would absolutely not return. Service was bland, coffee was just ok. Honestly 3/10.

We stopped in here today and we got macarons and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was incredible, but the macarons were just okay. They tasted like the meringue was overworked. It didn't have that chewy crunch that macarons are known for. The coffee was delicious too and very friendly service.

What a cute little patisserie! Unfortunately this is where the charm ends. They are A+ at branding. Everything in the shop is Lost Lamb themed in red and white. The food-in my opinion more important than branding-leaves much to be desired. I ordered an assortment of food and drink. The kids snubbed their noses after one bite of the chocolate chip cookies-"blah" The macarons had great flavor, gingerbread was tasty but dry. The egg nog macarons were a jumble of indiscernible flavors that only the sweet came through. The iced tea, brewed in a coffee maker, I assume was dark, coffee flavored and no ice. I threw it away after one dark gulp. The almond croissant was super tasty but way over baked. It crumbled in my lap. I salvaged the almond filling which was very good. Overall, all style and no substance.

There is no place in the Berkshires quite like The Lost Lamb. This delightful French bakery offers delectable pastries and breads: the blueberry crumble, croissants, and lemon blueberry loaf cake are my particular favorites. The menu changes daily, but there is usually a breakfast croissant, a lunch sandwich, and a soup of the day, as well as a range of teas, coffees, and cold drinks. The chef/owner and the rest of her staff have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service is excellent. Sitting outside, from late spring through the leaf season, is an especial treat. The tiny shop even offers jams, lemon curd, local honey, coffees, teas, and a few well-chosen Stockbridge souvenirs to take home, whether to enjoy yourself or use for hostess/bread-and-butter gifts.

We loved the coffee and croissant! The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere cheerful.

If you're in the Berkshires for nature or a cultural event you're not going to want to pass up a trip to this little gem of a pâtisserie. The croissants were buttery and flaky and could have been easily consumed with melt in your mouth goodness without any accompaniment. However, it's hard to pass up the combination of butter, raspberry preserves and chocolate. I also purchased pain au chocolat, a brioche breakfast sandwich, macaron, café au lait, and a strawberry lemonade. This young chef owner is doing great things well on a small scale. I cannot wait to return. Extra bonus for sustainable packaging.

Very delicious almond croissant and decent espresso drinks. However, not sure it is worth $19 for two iced lattes and a croissant. Cute atmosphere and place to sit outside.

This place is a TREASURE! If you want to feel as if you've been transported to Paris while in the Berkshires then GO! The croissants and pain au chocolat are as good as the best in France. And the vibe is amazing. The cutest merchandise from jam spoons to lamb ears and you can sit outside under an umbrella or a heat lamp. My only wish would be open more days and later in the afternoons. I can't wait to order a cake for the next birthday in my family.

Their Almond Croissant is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Sometimes I think about making the two hour drive from home just to have another.

The only complaint I have is that this is the first (but not the last) time I have been to The Lost Lamb. This absolutely beautiful little shop is perfect. Truly exceptional breads and pastries. I cannot wait to try the savories. Please support this lovely shop...it's simply fantastic.

Not understanding the hype here.. adorable interior and logo swag for sale ... tried a plain croissant, pain au chocolat, wanted an almond croissant but was told they only bake those on weekends, also took a slice of the strawberry shortcake along with an iced oat milk latte. Nothing stellar, bone dry pastries with not a hint of butter. Also took a BLT and the bacon was barely noticeable and the brioche bread was also very very cardboard dry. Didn't notice the chef in the back but young bakers were present. The latte was watery and weak too. Sorry, but I will stick to other bakeries in this locale that serve far better pastries than this. I think the chef needs to be more hands on at her patisserie because her staff is over baking the goods.

We enjoyed a yummy chocolate chip, hazelnut and white chocolate chip cookie. As you walk into this bakery the aroma of butter and a sugar is everywhere. We also enjoyed coffee and a chocolate croissant. This place is adorable. It's a great way to end the day.

Delicious, we stopped in and had a cranberry and ginger scone towards the end of the day. It was great, not too sweet, real flavor came through and even though it was probably baked earlier, it still was nice and soft. Highly recommend!

The pastries are amazing as is the coffee. We stop by every time we pass when they are opened for a croissant or cookie or latte. They are very covid careful with limited indoor access, masks, plastic etc.

Literally this is a slice of heaven on Earth. The owner/chef is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Institute in Paris, and it shows in every bite. As great as the pastries are, it's THE DRINKS that are not to be missed!!! Support local especially when it's 10,000x better than anything you could buy at Starbucks...just sayin. Bring your patience because there's always a line. Yum!!

Love this cute spot! Smells and looks amazing when you walk in. Came here twice this weekend and was wowed both times by the service, atmosphere, food, and beverages. They're known for their baked goods but the mozzarella sandwich was KILLER. Lost Lamb wasn't around when I was last in Stockbridge in 2018 and I'm so so happy that it joined the community. Fills an important niche.

I have been going to Lost Lamb almost weekly since they opened in February 2020. LL is not just one of the best bakeries in the area, but one of the best bakeries in the region (and am including NYC here). Claire's pastries are spectacular - top notch ingredients and flavors that are showcased vs. sickly sweet desserts to cover up poor quality ingredients. Her staples are fantastic: choc chip cookies, croissants and wonderful sandwiches (the breakfast one is divine); and her rotating/new pastries are always wonderful. She has baked all of our family birthday cakes for close to two years and they are always amazing. I love that we are supporting a young, female entrepreneur and one who is so talented as a pastry chef and a business owner.

The baguette is truly delightful...actually amazing. Wish we had bought more than just one. A must if you are in town or passing through. If you don't stop in you will miss out on a little gem!

Great spot. The atmosphere is fantastic and the croissant is no joke. These bakers know what they're doing and they do a great job.

If you're looking for authentic french- this is not the place for you. Aside from the aesthetic, this bakery is filled with sysco croissants and a limited variety of unattractive cakes. I could get a better croissant from the freezer section at the dollar store.

There were several people working and no other customers yet I was not given my full order and only noticed after driving away. The pastries were fair and the coffee was fine.
