"In the space that was once home to Lucky Cafe, the Morning Fork is another well-attended breakfast diner in the heart of Lavender Heights that serves large plates of Americana. Jennifer Swiryn, a long time Lucky Cafe waitress who now owns the restaurant with her husband Keith, has preserved the lunch counter and its original brown vinyl swivel stools. Sit there (or at a nearby booth) to tuck into fried chicken and bacon-laced Belgian waffles, crab and shrimp cake Benedict, and pancakes that spill over the edge of the plate." - Illyanna Maisonet

The Morning Fork is a charming breakfast staple in Sacramento's Midtown. It’s got that cozy retro diner energy with just enough elbow room for groups, booth huggers, and solo counter folks alike. It’s always poppin’—especially on weekends—but honestly, it slaps. Worth every minute in line. The menu? A comfort food glow-up. They take your classic brekkie faves and zhuzh them just enough to keep things interesting without turning brunch into a science experiment. The Salsa Omelette? 10/10. But don’t let that stop you from getting down with their French toast too. No one’s judging. 🍳🍞 They’ve got options for your plant-based besties, gluten-free queens, and anyone who just wants bubbles with their breakfast. 🥂 The price point hits that sweet spot too—big portions without the big regret. My $14 Salsa Omelette could’ve been two meals… if I had self-control. (I don’t.) How I break down my ⭐️ reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷‍♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥

I really loved this place. We went on Sunday so is was a little bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it! The food was great and hot. It came out wrong but the waiter fixed it immediately! I would definitely recommend this place if you wanna get some good brung/breakfast!

Google
The food was great, pricing was well worth the food that you get. Family friendly atmosphere, staff was very nice, attentive, and friendly with customers and each other. Food was brought out fast. Restaurant has that "at home" feeling and you will definitely get full. There's parking all along the street but may have to walk a half a block or so. Restaurants like these are slowly becoming far and few in the Bay Area so it was really a pleasure to find one in Sacramento while on business. I'll Be Back!

Hidden gem! The carnitas breakfast burrito is one of the best things you can eat in Sacramento. Raspberry Coconut waffles are also bomb. Love this little spot; the vibes are great. I try to come at least once a month as a treat to myself.

Omg! If you haven't been here you are missing out!! You need to come here. This place I do recommend! My husband got the sage chicken waffles that oh my goodness. It is scrumptious! I order the salsa omelette and it is super delish with the side order of sausages. I recommend these two dishes. Coffee was good too. The lady was very attentive if there was anything else we needed and woah this place was packed and we left the place like around 10am on Friday. It was load since there was a lot of people. Place clean and very decorative. Come and eat breakfast here!

Google
The triple blueberry only was a double regarding the waffles. No blueberry's in the waffles as advertised. We both ordered with chicken. My portion of chicken was much smaller than the other. The chicken tasted cool. But the waffle... was not served warm enough, as you can see my butter did not melt. At least have the syrup warm, since they can not heat up the waffle, I was told. The server was nice and brought A waffle with blueberry's in it. But the other person was hungry and ate theirs. I ate a third. As she made her way back around and asked if it was okay. She was very nice. Ordered 2 eggs, it was 1 1/2, I cook eggs alot. And they sprinkled cheese on top, can we melt the cheese, I'm paying extra for. We just want what we're paying for. Do not cheat me. Without asking, she took 10% off the overall meal. I don't know about gambling again though. The mimosa was good though. I'm assuming they ran out of glasses, he did not say when he sat the regular glass down. However, that is a mimosa in the pictures.

We finally had a chance to try this place and overall it was nice, friendly staff, ambiance was on point and the food had only 2 problems in our opinion. My potatoes were good but greasy 🥹. My daughter’s seafood omelette had baby shrimp in it instead of regular shrimp to match the price of $28. And lastly i was looking forward to having a hot chocolate but our waiter said they were out of whipped cream so i settled for a cup of coffee which i don’t necessarily like to drink coffee or tea but it was a hot beverage.

Google
I got the Carnitas & Peppered Bacon Burrito, it was definitely different. To start, the cilantro pesto I’m not a big fan of since I am used to basil pesto so I would personally pass (maybe someone else likes it tho). The burrito was good, I would recommend toasting the tortilla to give it that nice toasted look. I’ll be back in the future to try something new :D

Stephanie X.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! The carnitas burrito was soooo good, and the green sauce on the side was delicious (wish I asked what it was). I opted for hash browns instead of rice. The hashbrowns were cooked so perfectly crispy. Service was quick and the inside was very cute!

Yelp
Quaint spot in central midtown. Visited for the first time as I always see a line so thought it must be good. I was not a fan of both the quality and the pricing, but it might be for you. Two orders of chicken and waffles and black coffee which came out to a grand total of $50. I'm sure inflation is a factor but the price of the food was not worth what was served. It was a simple waffle and 1 1/2 small pieces of thinly pounded chicken, breaded in lots of corn meal and missing seasoning. I was expecting a chicken thigh or tenders like other spots I've been to. Service was fine, nothing special. There are other places that I prefer.

Yelp
Came here towards their closing time on Sunday afternoon and we were seated pretty quickly (under 10 minutes) after we put down our names on the waitlist outside. They close at 2pm and we arrived around 1pm. There were still plenty of customers and parties waiting to be seated, they are busy. The staff all seemed like they were in a rush given it was their last hour so don't be like us and check their hours. It's my second time here and I have noticed that service here fluctuates, sometimes it's good and sometimes it is bad. I guess it depends on who you are helped by. The food however was amazing! They were out of French toast so the waitress was accommodating and let me know I could turn any flavor/syrup combo in the menu into a pancake or waffle. I got the lemon curd and raspberry waffle which was AMAZING! Highly recommend. I also got a side of biscuit with sausage gravy that was topped with bacon bits-- I loved the gravy and would absolutely get this again. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak that came with hashbrowns, slice of toast and gravy. It was delicious and very filling. Our server did forget our drink order but she was very kind about it. I think their food and prices are reasonable. The parking can be annoying as it is in this area, pay $1-$3 if you can find street parking or walk a few blocks if you want free parking. Overall, I would recommend The Morning Fork for brunch, try to come on a weekday or earlier on a weekend to reserve a table but expect a wait!

Xia Wen G.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, I can't believe I've waited so long to try this place! I always pass by and the line is always out the door. I was craving some brunch foods and finally decided to give this place a go and I'm so happy I did! My friend and I came an hour after they opened on a Saturday and there was already a bit of a wait. I definitely suggest going as earlier rather than later! This place gives diner vibes with booths but also tables in the back! We ordered the breakfast burger, chipotle chicken eggs benedict, lemon raspberry stuffed French toast, (not pictured) fried chicken, link sausage, and sweet pepper bacon. Everything was fantastic, it definitely satisfied my brunch craving. My favorite was the chipotle chicken eggs Benedict, the chipotle sauce combined with the hollandaise sauce was killer. I will definitely be coming back for that dish. I also really enjoyed the sweet pepper bacon (pretty much candied bacon) , I love sweet and salty flavors!

Ron R.

Yelp
*** Vegetarian Review *** I'm still eating, but just wanted to shout out the servers and the pistachio waffle. They ain't playing with all the pistachios piled on top of the fluffy waffle with marzipan butter. More to come later ... diving back in.

Bryan D.

Yelp
First time eating at Morning Fork and it was delicious. I got the Sage Chicken and Waffle. Both was cooked well, chicken was perfectly fried. Waffle was soft in the inside with a slight crisp on the outer. But what made the overall dish above and beyond is the syrup they provided, sweet but not overly. There is about 7 seating booths and like 16 bar seats. Parking, you'll have to find street parking, some are free and some you'll have to pay. To be expected for midtown. We got to the restaurant around 11am. Super busy and a long waitlist, however we waited for about 20 mins before being seated and another 10-15mins for our food to come out. After our meal, while exiting there was another wave of people still waiting. So yeah it's super busy.

Emanuel L.

Yelp
I picked this place for a 1st date brunch & I'm glad I did! The wait wasn't long. Service: 5outta5 The staff went out of there way to ensure we were taken care of, but that's how every table was treated. Multiple servers approaching tables topping waters off & ensuring everyone had what they needed. The chicken & waffles were sublime. 5outta5 The waffle was light & fluffy. The pineapple, crystalized ginger streusel, whipped cream, salted maple butter & chicken all in one bite was aphrodisiac-ish. The regular mimosa was a regular mimosa & was enjoyed. 4outta5 Good choice, great date... Side note: Not the chef's presentation in the pic, I had to "replate" it for greedy reasons.

Dave R.

Yelp
We came here on a friday afternoon and there was a line but we were seated quite quickly. The server was very kind and helped us out with any questions we had. I ordered the breakfast burrito with carnitas and bacon. The burrito had a ton of meat and was very good. It easily kept me full for the whole day. We saw that the green sauce was really popular so i got an extra side of that. Would recommend getting another extra side of that. The lavender iced coffee was also really good. It actually tasted like lavender. Overall the experience here was great! I would definitely come back here.

Paulette C.

Yelp
My daughter-in-law and I went here for brunch. It was our first time. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely come back. The food, staff, and atmosphere makes this a perfect place to have an enjoyable meal.

Janell W.

Yelp
We walked in were seated right away. We sat at the counter. It was loud but so what. People eating and talking and it was lively. Lovely honestly. Wee were offered drinks and brought to us promptly. Coffee was so good. And their water tasted good. I ordered the vegan burrito with bacon and real cheese. That burrito was seriously the BEST THING EVER!! My partner ordered the breakfast sandwich. He said it was good. I also wanted potatoes and fruit. So I got that on the side. The staff was so friendly and helpful. For two with food and drinks it was $68 including tip. We will be back so worth it.

Elliana T.

Yelp
We stopped here for brunch on the way up to Tahoe. I think we waited about 30/40 minutes for a table of 6. The restaurant looked small from the outside, but theres a second room with more seating. After we were seated, we placed our order and our food came out pretty fast. We got the breakfast sandwich and the meat omelette. The sandwich was super tasty! The brioche was fluffy and the caramelized onions added extra flavor. The omelette was good, but it was only meat so I wish there was one vegetable in it. We got hash browns and fruit on the side. The fruit was actually really sweet and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Definitely worth checking out!

Rachel D.

Yelp
Check in on list by the door, Saturday at 9ish, we waited about 10 mins for a table. Initially there was a wait of about 10 mins inside before someone came to get drink orders but then everything went smoothly from there. My friend ordered the Pretty In pink mimosa and enjoyed it $8. I had sweet potato waffle $15, 1 egg $2.5, coffee $3.5. I love the sweet potato waffle mostly for the cream cheese topping. Friend had the Sundae waffle GF which she said was tasty but really sweet.

Amy N.

Yelp
Love this place. Service is great and the food comes out quickly and is yummy!! You come in seat yourself and is a cute restaurant. This is my husbands favorite place for chicken and waffles.

Carolyn S.

Yelp
Will. DEFINITELY. Come. Back. Guys. This place is like if your average dive diner plus poppin brunch spot had a food baby, it would be the morning fork. Food: Food was phenomenal. I mean from portion to flavor to the very short wait. 5 stars alone. Service: Service was quick friendly knowledgeable and funny! Everyone pitches in here and the team works in such harmony that each plate that I saw go by were consistent, colorful, and delish looking. Ambiance: Small space but they make every inch work. There's bar seating and booths on one side of the restaurant and on the other side there are additional seating as far as tables and I witnessed a party of maybe 15 being sat so also great for groups. I will make the trip to this place until I have worked my way through their menu. Yea. That good.

Ursula R.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday around 11:30 am with 6 other people. We waited 2 hours to be seated. I know waiting 2 hours to be seated is a long time but let me tell you it was worth the wait. The place is nothing fancy but the food is amazing! I ordered the maple sage fried chicken ($19). It was a 5/5, the chicken was crunchy and the sage gave it a good flavor, was served with a toast bread. The gravy was thick and creamy. The carnitas burrito was delicious 5/5 ($18). The meat was tender and was flavorful. The service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive. I dropped my utensils within seconds a server picked it up and brought me back some utensils. My nephew dropped his drink and again the servers came to help clean and brought him another drink. I wish they would extend their hours, later than 2pm.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
I finally decided to wait for half hour to try this place. The service was great even though the place was busy (always busy) the food was really good and I love the selection of mimosas, they have so many different flavors of mimosas, I'm so glad that I finally ate here, I will definitely come back here whenever I feel like I don't mind a wait...

Roddri A.

Yelp
This is our first visit. We were totally impressed once entering this establishment. We were asked, to seat ourselves wherever we would like. Our server Rachel was very knowledgeable about the menu and courteous. We ordered the Blue Lump Crab and Bay Shrimp Eggs Benedict and the Vegetable Omelette with Pepper Bacon and Linked Sausage. Oh my goodness so much flavor, hot and really good. All of the servers were very attentive, stopping by to provide extra service. Made our entire experience extraordinary. The food was oh so good & enjoyable to our taste palette that we ordered a to go order, Burrito with Carnitas & Peppered Bacon. We will definitely be back.

Linh N.

Yelp
Cute diner like restaurant. This place is popular as there's a wait. Staff are very nice. We had the crab Benedict and French toast. Loved the hash and perfectly poached eggs on the Benedict. I should've tried one of their waffles instead of the French toast. That hot chocolate looks like a party in a cup! The ice coffee was light and refreshing.

Cathy S.

Yelp
Omg, this place serves delicious food! Cute but kitschy restaurant. French Toast Combo (w/ Chicken Mango Jalapeno Sausage and Fruit Cup) - 5/5 DELICIOUS. The butter is amaze-balls. The challah bread was perfectly toasty yes moist in the center. Love love loved the sausage. The fruit cup was small and laughable. Breakfast Burrito - 5/5 Huge portion and they don't skimp on the meat. Really enjoyed whatever that green sauce was. Service - 3/5 It was okay. Super casual. They don't bring all the food out at once so there was a 5 min wait for the sausage and fruit to arrive after everything else. Bathroom was clean.

Carol G.

Yelp
This place is worth the wait! I've been here twice and both times were great! If you go closer to 2pm when they close or on a weekday usually the wait isn't too bad. The inside is pretty small, only about 10 booths and counter/bar which makes it feel diner like. We got chicken and waffles, maple fried chicken and breakfast burrito which all were great. We also got a carafe of mimosa which was a seasonal one. It had glitter and flowers and was a little over the top, but pretty! They have specials on carafes of mimosas during the week too! The gravy that came with my chicken was great, not too salty or floury like other restaurants. The waffle was also good quality and crisp, but soft inside. I wouldn't recommend this as an all day brunch /unlimited mimosa place, but definitely a midtown stable.

Janet M.

Yelp
This place was a last minute stop before heading home. No regrets! It's extremely busy but everything we ate was delicious! The portions were big! If you are looking for a quick delicious place, I recommend this place! Parking can be a bit of a challenge because it's street paid parking.

Tashi G.

Yelp
If you're in need of a good place to fill up your tummy with awesome food, eat here!! This is a must try type of place to go!!

Aine F.

Yelp
We got seated right away when we came in around 11:30am on a Friday. Our food came within 20mins after ordering. We ordered the following: House Belgian Waffle with salted Maple Butter - fluffy and the butter complemented the waffle Seafood Omelette (blue lump crab, bay shrimp, onions, garlic, chives, hollandaise) - it's just so-so Blue lump Crab & Bay Shrimp cake egg benedict - I liked this. But I had better They have bottomless regular and decaf coffee. But there's no other coffee options like Cappuccino, Mocha, etc. Parking: Plenty on the street, IF one can find a space. Lol! Service: 4 star Food: 3 star Service: 4 star Parking: 3 star Ambiance/atmosphere: 3 star, comfortable but music was loud

Matthew C.

Yelp
Came here with a local friend for brunch. Everything was quite delicious and this place can pack in quite a lot of people. I was feeling in the mood for something sweet and the Waffle Queen fit the bill nicely. I have quite the sweet tooth and this dish was a bit too much even for me. It was delicious but I struggled to get through all of it. So definitely order it with caution. It's very sweet. The hot chocolate was quite decadent with all the toppings and whipped cream. Definitely would recommend.

Ciaira G.

Yelp
Walked in this morning and the tables were packed, I was super excited to try! Friday mid morning and a place is packed like this it has to be good right? I can't imagine how busy it is on the weekends! We waited longer than we should have because I missed the check in list they had right outside the building. That was my fault. Inside is adorable, I love the dandelions they have painted on the walls. I get diner vibes from this place - they have booth, table and bar top seating. We were greeted right after we sat down and ordered the Grapefruit Rose mimosa and the Golden Spice mimosa. He brought it back very quickly and when I had questions about the menu he said our server would be with us shortly. I was a bit confused because I thought he was our server! When he brought the drinks back I noticed the Grapefruit Rose mimosa didn't have the edible flower or the apple salted rim. At first I told him we received the wrong drink but he said it was the drink and he would fix it right away. He did bring back the correctly labeled drink but I was a bit put off by the confusion. The Golden Spice mimosa hands down is the best mimosa I've ever had. The Grapefruit Rose was too sweet to my liking and I wouldn't order again. I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito and it was one of the best vegetarian burritos in the area! So filling I could have made two servings of it, but it was so delicious I finished it all. The two salsas it come with were great as well. Also ordered the French toast, it was nice and thick not soggy at all. The only thing is the flavor was underwhelming. My favorite part about it was the maple butter - it was amazing I would ask for more next time, but I would rather try the waffles. Ordered a side of the country potatoes as well, nicely seasoned and flavorful. I will be back soon!

Kenneth H.

Yelp
This is my go to breakfast place in Sacramento! The food is spectacular, and the service is fantastic! The place itself is a perfect cafe! Love the cool vibe!!

Gwen G.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Staff went above and beyond. Food came fast and it was so good. The staff was very nice to everyone and it was all around good energy!!

Steven N.

Yelp
I recently visited The Morning Fork in Sacramento and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and our waitress provided excellent service. My only critique is that it was a bit pricey, though that's subjective. The place offers WiFi and tends to be quite busy in the morning.

Alyssa T.

Yelp
Another win for Yelp. We were in town for a music festival and wanted to try something we didn't have back home. This was perfect. The place was packed and busy. It was bustling and moving. The food came surprisingly hot. The options were....many. My 4 stars is because it was so busy, seats were limited and we ended up at the bar. There was dust on some of the nick nacks. They had some awesome additions to your potatoes, or so I thought, but the added carnitas I thought I was getting in my potatoes ended up being added to my omelet. It was delicious but not what I'd expected. I would go back.

Jenn C.

Yelp
After visiting this place a handful of times, I finally see the hype of this place. A few things to remember to get the best brunch experience: 1) Go on a weekday. If going on a weekend, arrive before 9:30am to avoid the crazy lines/wait. 2) Their strongest menu items are the waffles and pancakes. Do not NOT order at least one of these items!! They are the most unique and tastiest waffles around! 3.) Their strongest savory dishes for me would be their egg Benedict's, fried chicken, breakfast burrito and hashbrowns. I can't really confirm every menu item since I haven't tried them all, but try to avoid just getting a simple egg/bacon/country potatoes combo. They are okay but not impressive. Go for their strong suits!! Follow these simple rules and your Morning Fork experience should be solid! They are a clean, well-oiled mom and pop brunch place with fun energy and pleasant staff.

Courtney H.

Yelp
if I had to read it, it will be a seven out of 10. It was very good. Besides, the potatoes were very uncooked and just not season enough.

Chef Will G.

Yelp
Been wanting to come for awhile but the lines were alway so long. Well it is Wednesday and still full of customers but got a table. Ambiance Old school place, have counter seating, my dad would like that. Maple Sage Fried Chicken Heavily seasoned, maybe a little too much but very good. Nice crust, chicken moist, cooked perfectly. Potatoes. Nicely seasoned with paprika, marjoram, bell peppers and onions. Eggs scrambled soft cooked as ordered. Gravy consistency very nice. Good flavor, probably the best gravy I have had in awhile. Rate food a 5 Customer Service The Good I was welcomed as I walked in and given a menu. My waitress was very pleasant, I was thanked when I left. The Bad I was looking down at my phone, heard a loud thud, my plate was dropped on the table, only saw the back of the guys head. He never broke stride and never looked back. I felt like I was being fed like an animal.

Rachel D.

Yelp
I can speak about this place forever. The food is to die for hence the crazy wait time. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable of the menu so feel free to trust their suggestions if you're having trouble deciding. Ambiance is always delightful

Jeanne N.

Yelp
This place is a gem. Staff is incredible, friendly, attentive and they make the whole experience even more special. The food stands on its own but the atmosphere, music, charming decor, and people are what make this old school diner a place a must visit when you're on mid town Sacramento. Extensive creative menu and everything we tried raised the bar for other brunch spots! Well done

Felipe P.

Yelp
Second time visiting this restaurant when visiting Sacramento, food is amazing, service top notch. My wife and I will come back to eat every time we are in Sacramento.

Sac R.

Yelp
The staff and service was great! I ordered an omelette and I found what seemed like 3 cloves of garlic in my omelette. The garlic was chopped into chunky pieces, so I was able to take out the chunks as I ate. I like garlic in my food, but not to this extent. It overpowered the dish and it was all that I could taste with every bite.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
We were seated right away at 11am on a Saturday morning... score! You check yourself by writing your name on a clipboard outside, and can even offer some suggestions for their Spotify playlist! Ambience was laid back and chill, just like their hardworking staff. Food was really good, except that it was quite buttery -- my omelet was swimming in it on the plate, which was the only disappointment from the visit. Will go back for sure and just ask them to go easy on the butter/cooking oil.

Arthur T.

Yelp
Good time at Morning Fork! Came by on a busy Saturday brunch. There was quite a few parties in front of us. Luckily, people didn't show, so we got skipped to the front pretty quickly. Probably only waited less than 10 min. We ordered: -apple cider $5 -breakfast burger $17 -meat omelette $18 Food was good. We both enjoyed our meals. Flavors were all there. Reasonably priced for the amount of food we received. If you're a smaller group, definitely recommend sitting at the bar to get sat faster! Street parking only.

Camille P.

Yelp
Love the retro diner style, authentic and fresh cooked food. I wish our pancake was a little hotter but otherwise very tasty. The sage fried chicken has an interesting cornmeal batter but the gravy, eggs and hashbrowns were all very delicious. Their sourdough bread was also very tasty and my husband and I were full and very satisfied. This is a fantastic greasy spoon and sitting at the counter/bartop felt very retro and cool. Will be back again!

David L.

Yelp
Wow I love this place. I guess we have been here long ago but I don't remember it. This place is amazing. There is metered street parking and we found a meter just 2 doors down. I hate that you use the parking app and it doesn't change the light to green. The guy took our name down on the list outside. He said it would be half an hour but it was like ten minutes. We were seated in the first booth. This place looks like and old dinner. It was packed and only an hour till closing. They have a lot of flavors for the waffles and I have been craving a waffle for a few days now. So perfect right. I asked one of the workers for some recommendations and she suggested the seafood benedict. All fresh crab and shrimp. Also the chicken and waffle. I asked if I could get a flavored waffle and the chicken and she said that was fine. Also she said that you can add chicken to the pancakes of French toast. Items not shown on the menu. Wow so nice. The wife got the strawberry waffles adding eggs and hashbrowns. I got the seafood benedict and the apple cobbler with chicken. When it came out. It was wonderful. So much food. I love it. The crab was wonderful on the eggs benedict, The hollandaise sauce was yummy. The apple cobbler was perfect for the chicken. So sweet and delicious. Great fried chicken moist and flavorful. I finished the eggs benedict but had a little left on the waffle and chicken. I thought I could devour it but sadly no. Till next time this is the bomb.

Eli N.

Yelp
Excellent food and professional venue. Both breakfast and lunch are wonderful. I have yet to try dinner.

Corinne P.

Yelp
Even during a week day there's still a bit of a wait. Cute, quaint old school diner vibes. Ask to sit at a regular table as the booths & bar seats are pretty uncomfortable. 10/10 - Maple Sage Fried Chicken with Loaded Country Potatoes: now this is how fried chicken should be cooked every time *chef's kiss*, it's seasoned so well & super moist; must order if you love fried chicken 9/10 - House Pancake: really good classic pancake, it's pretty thin but still fluffy in the middle 6/10 - Breakfast Sandwich with Carnitas & Loaded Hash browns - this has potential as it has good flavors, unfortunately the carnitas were quite dry & it was a bit awkward go eat as a sandwich; the hash browns were kinda greasy too

Perla C.

Yelp
I got terrible food poisoning and dealt with symptoms for a week. I didn't finish my food it was disgustingly oily. Never going back. Yes, I'm certain this place gave me food poisoning.

Sandford W.

Yelp
It's a funky midtown greasy spoon kind of place. This place has been around in one iteration or another since the 90s. The latest version gives you large portions of what you would expect from a place this big. It's fun once in a while.

Yelp
Great vibe and music here. The food is pricey but it's tasty too! If you're looking for a fancy spot don't come here. If you want great food in a relaxed environment this is your breakfast spot.

Yelp
The food was amazing and I would definitely come back again when back in town - what a good find!

Yelp
Food: Decent Service: Decent Ambiance: Decent This place is a perfect 3/5 for me, and I don't even mean that negatively; it delivers for sure but is nothing to rave about. Will probably revisit sometime.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and the scene is precious, the employees all see so happy and relaxed. They have people constantly being seated turning no one away. The food is fresh and delicious and precise are great. I would definitely recommend this place to locals or tourist! Carafes of mimosa for $20 is always a plus! We got the golden mimosa it was good and strong haha! Definitely want to try the pretty purple one next!

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito! That pepper bacon and carnitas and cilantro pesto, jalapeños just all of it in one nice warm tortilla soooo good! And it comes with this green salsa, prob with cilantro jalapeño but whatever that is, it was delish! Make sure to order a side of that sausage gravy to eat with the burrito! Just takes it to the next level! Highly recommend coming early as they get very busy. My husband along with our toddler came here on Saturday morning around 9am and the wait was roughly 15 min. But once we left around 10am there was a large wait outside the restaurant.

Yelp
Outstanding! The food is classic American breakfast fare, done very well. Fast, homey, tasty, always full... definitely worth the wait if you're looking for waffles, eggs, et al!
