The NoMad Pool – Activity Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Let’s start big picture here.     Guests staying at The NoMad Las Vegas , a boutique hotel within the larger Park MGM Resort, have access to their very own rooftop pool on the 6th floor. Inspired by the Majorelle Gardens of Morocco and designed by Jacques Garcia (the interior designer for NoMad), the intimate pool deck ditches the usual Vegas poolside furniture of plastic chairs and glass tables for rattan loungers topped with plush padding and wooden Morroccan side tables. There’s just one pool, but with well-made drinks from the NoMad bar team and delicious small plates created by Eleven Madison Park ’s Daniel Humm, you won’t need much more. Any standout features or must-sees?      For now, the pool is only open on the weekends but it has put its weekend party scene on hold as well. Guests can thankfully still order up gourmet bites from the restaurant and slurp clever cocktails from NoMad’s star mixologist Leo Robitschek while they lounge poolside. Yet the most standout feature might just be having a gorgeous and intimate rooftop pool free of wild Vegas partiers. Was it easy to get around?      NoMad guests can access the pool through the spa, but on weekends they will have to go to a different entrance just off the Park MGM front desk and past the Primrose restaurant. All said and done, what—and who—is this best for?   The limited space of the rooftop ensures that you won’t be participating in some overrun pool party. But it is a pricey way to spend a weekend by the pool. If you can, soak up the sunshine and peace during the week." - Juliana Shallcross

Lovely pool area, mostly shaded before 12. Definitely less crowded than the MGM Park pool downstairs. The yellow day bed is super comfortable and the FOOD was excellent!

Google
Terrible experience. $425 for a dirty, nasty cabana, broken umbrella and dirt everywhere. We typically stay at the Bellagio, will never deviate again. Disappointing as it is a part of the mgm family.

We stayed at Park MGM from July 3rd to the 7th. The pool at Park MGM was packed so we went to NoMad. There are no seats that have umbrellas at this pool unless you pay for a cabana or a day bed. As a disabled person that is not able to tolerate too much sun due to a medical disease/condition this is unacceptable. I felt that as a guest at MGM hotel I wasn’t appreciated and important to even deserve an umbrella at the pool. Also on 4th of July they closed the NoMad pool and bar at 6pm, we went a bit late so we can enjoy the pool with less sun since there were no umbrella to shade us in the morning hours.

Google
Nice perk of staying at the Nomad Hotel is having access to this pool that the Park MGM guests are not allowed. Much less crowded than the Park MGM pools when I checked those out at the same time. Relaxing atmosphere with nice views of the City Center. This is a common issue at resort/hotel pools but I find it very annoying that they allow people to put towels on pool chairs early in the morning just for those chairs to sit unused well into the late afternoon. I also made the mistake of buying two large cocktails without checking out the menu first. That bill came to $88 after tip...my fault for not checking/asking first

In december don't expect any sun, but at least it is still open. One pool just warm enough, and a very warm hot tub, but jets are weak.

Yelp
Our go to place to stay in Las Vegas, our experience has always been top notch from the front desk, bellhop and valet everyone is always great. No stay is complete without a visit to Nomad High Limit Bar, the very best of the best are here with Ben, Michelle, Juan, Chris, Olga and Paula. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Once we hit the casino we go visit Chester and John at circle bar they are great! Don't underestimate Park MGM it's the best! -bill & sandi

Yelp
First time staying at the NoMad and tried to check in at ParkMGM's VIP are knowing they're on the same property; but was informed my room was ready & to check in at NoMad's front desk to get the "full experience." NoMad's decor was a contrast to ParkMGM's bright & green vibe, and was very dark, sleek and elegant. The gentleman who assisted at check in was welcoming and helpful; and my room ended up being upgraded to a salon suite on the top floor. The room was spacious, included a stocked mini bar, water, Nespresso machine, and had a great view. We all had a wonderful but short stay, and highly recommend NoMad!

Yelp
Everytime we come to vegas, we stay at mgm chain hotels most of the time. This is our first time stayed at NoMad hotel. Located in park mgm. Pool: they have their own pool. Nomad and park mgm guests do NOT SHARE pools. Hall way is very dimmed. Room: We got a 2 queen bedroom. Has a fridge, closet, safe, sofa. Bathroom is ok. Has a very good water pressure, however, the water has a veggie smell. They give you complimentary small bottle water. Service is good and fast. Our TV box doesn't work, when we called for service, the tech guy came within 10min, replaced our box fix within 30min right before we have to leave for dinner. Another issue: the pipe was so noisy. We didn't sleep well the few night we were at nomad. Restaurants: plenty. La la noddle Nomad library Eataly Cuban We like to stay this area either in Aria, vdara or park mgm, very accessible to walk to bellagio, aria, vdara, nyny, mgm, and plenty of food.

Yelp
Nomad is very European. And if you like that, this may be for you. If you want to try it out, you'd better do it soon because it sounds like it'll be closing soon and flipping to another brand. We've stayed twice now. It's OK. We don't love the layout of the rooms. I definitely don't want or need a bathtub in my bedroom - that's just crazy wasted space. Large ornate screens behind a TV in the small "living room" area are also just unnecessary space killers. We find the beds very firm.... Too hard for us. The bathrooms are separated into a WC when you first enter, then a shower room off the bedroom area. The shower room is cramped.... Just a bad use of the space. The shower is nice and roomy but desperately needs a shelf or step.... Somewhere to put things. I recommend bringing your own soap - theirs is so small and doesn't lather. Both times we've stayed, they have placed welcome amenities in the room (playing cards one time, chocolates the second). That's a nice touch. Here's something: both times we stayed, we've seen lights flashing in our room all night long. It must be some sort of alarm but it is.... Alarming! It really freaked us out the first time we encountered it - like a little electrical storm going on over your head all night. We couldn't figure out the super fancy coffee maker in the room. Starbucks is right downstairs. The separate hot and cold faucets are quaint and so European but there is a reason we don't use them so much anymore... in America. Service has been pretty good. The place is really dark - all over. From the lobby to the elevators it's DARK. There is a lot attention to detail and its esthetic is definitely spot on throughout. Not my favorite restaurant selection at Nomad or their attached hotel Park MGM. Nomad Library is quite good as is Bavette's but casual places aren't a strength here. There is room service but the menu is tiny. Primrose isn't bad for breakfast but you must make a reservation because it's not that big and they fill up fast - they're the only breakfast game in the place pretty much. We also don't love the non-smoking casino because it just doesn't feel like Vegas to us. Luckily Nomad is well situated and you can quickly walk to Aria or NewYork to smoke and gamble properly. A lot of people will love this place - Francophiles especially. We like it fine, but there are better options for us. If you want to take a bath in your bedroom, better get there quick.

Yelp
I'm bummed that they will be changing Nomad to a different "hotel flag". I know that the concept of a hotel-within-a-hotel is kinda weird, but I love that it feels more premium than the hotel below. Checkout was so so quick, quickest I ever experienced and I even went to the front desk instead of their online check in! They upgraded us to a suite with the bathtub in the room which I 110% took advantage of almost daily. The decor is a very warm, perhaps Gothic European style. I love the separate water closet and that it's away from the bed area, keeps those noises and fumes away haha. Every staff we talked to were super friendly, although there was a mix-up with our check out time so the housekeeping staff verified it with us. Ask for the complimentary bath salts! We wouldn't have known about but another guest talked to us about it

Yelp
The Nomad is my new favorite hotel!! While it's not exactly designed to be a work travel destination, I really really love the change of pace. The Nomad has all of the conveniences a professional needs AND it's so relaxing and luxurious in a very vintage way. I think most people come here for romantic stays. It's beautiful and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. If you want to just chill, you can hang out at The Nomad but if you want to step out, you can connect easily to the Park MGM (and pretty much the entire strip) where there are all kinds of restaurants, bars, gaming, shows, etc. are right there. I LOVED the tub. (Ask for their complimentary lavender bath salts.) I already have my next Vegas work trip scheduled and booked another stay at The Nomad!

Yelp
This is my new favorite MGM property! I love the exclusivity vibes it gave & the vintage rooms. They're really simple and have a lot of character. I typically use no contact check in but the service at the pool was OK , the food and drinks were delicious and I love that the space wasn't overcrowded. Follow on IG: @viewsandmenus

Yelp
This place is located on the upper floors of Park MGM and it basically a hotel within a hotel with its own check in desk. It has a really dark old school English vibe, almost like the whole thing is part of an old English manor which is unique for Strip hotels. Our room was clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortable as well. Our room was quiet and we didn't hear any noise that woke us up and that's always a plus in Vegas. I believe the pillow are all goose down, it didn't bother me but if you're allergic might want ask them if you can switch those out. Also both the hotel and casino are non smoking. Checking in was inconvenient since we arrived late in the evening after a cross-county flight and were told our room wasn't ready yet. Not sure how rooms aren't ready yet at 10:30 pm but they did give us a comp night, $50 food and $50 drink vouchers and said they'd text us when the room was ready and store our bags in the meantime. We had dinner and played a little at the casino and maybe an hour after dropping our bags off, our room was ready. It wasn't a big deal and they made it right but could've been disastrous if it happened to someone who was really tired or not feeling well and really needed their room now. They did a great resolving the situation with the comp night and vouchers but having a stack of vouchers did make me wonder how often this happens. I enjoyed my stay here and would return but hopefully next time the room is ready at check-in and this isn't a common issue.

Yelp
Very important update! I found out that I "wasn't" staying at NoMad during my last trip but was only using the NoBad elevators to stay on one of the top floors of ParkMGM. Confusing huh? Well, I "did" stay at NoMad this trip, which I've heard may not be NoMad much longer. It was a much nicer check-in experience this time. The front desk people were SUPER friendly! We joked a little, and she did a great job of setting us up. The hotel was full due to events at the nearby arena and theater, so I was thrilled to be helped quickly and efficiently. The rooms are unique. Since there are already tons of pictures of the rooms, I took pictures of the more unique features I found. More importantly, I took a screenshot of the all-inclusive, very expensive honor bar. menu. Yikes!! What you pay for convenience. I loved that they had bathrobes! That's one of my favorite features of any hotel that has them. The beds were super comfy. We stayed in a small suite that had a separate living area from the bedroom. While I love bathrobes, the lack of a regular fridge always irks me. One quirky thing was that the toilet was in the entrance hallway, and the shower/sink/makeup were off the bedroom. In a way, this was great for two people because one could use the other without bothering the other person. One thing that was frustrating is that the elevators are not exclusively for NoMad, which is the top three floors. While you didn't have to stop at the lower two-thirds of the hotels, the elevator rides did take longer as you stopped to pick people up on the way. Also, at night, with a completely full hotel, the elevators were very slow, and we ended up passing on one or two cars because they filled up with people, and not everyone was respectful to those who got there before them. Overall, it was a good experience. The ParkMGM casino is nice, and you can easily walk to New York, New York, or take the tram to Bellagio/Cosmo and stay inside if the weather isn't nice. It's a great location if you want to stay on the strip.

Yelp
Nomad is a boutique hotel that has a separate valet and entrance from Park MGM. When you enter to check in at the front desk, your eyes will need to adjust. Everything is pretty darkly lit. Elegant and yet giving the vibe of a couples hotel? As you enter the rooms, it's very spacious and beautiful. This is a no smoking hotel. Nomad sits above Park MGM. Parking all day is $18. Unless you have a Pearl tier status or above. Then it's free.

Yelp
NoMad Las Vegas is the top four floors of the Park MGM (floors 29-32). It's more upscale and is smoke free. It has an old European feel to it. The rooms are nice, comfy and has a walk in closet. The bathroom is huge. Our room was the first door by the elevator walkway, so we didn't have to walk far. Also, the ice machine was a few steps away as well. We couldn't have asked for a better room. We were on the 30th floor. The service was top notch. The housekeepers were so nice. They always left us extra bottles of water and toiletries. We also had extra hand and bath towels. Just FYI that there isn't a fridge that you can use and there is no microwave in the room. A big thank you to Lyla and Ed for letting me stay with them and be their roommate.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't done a review here yet! I've stayed at Nomad a few times now, I have also stayed at Park MGM a few times. It's all the same building, although Nomad has its own lobby and entry as many have mentioned. The vibe of Nomad is Gothic - very soothing and dark which I love. Customer service at this hotel is above board all throughout, and Nomad puts little extra touches on things just to make you feel extremely welcome and at home. You get the sense that people really love their jobs because they spread that good feeling to you as a guest. I've always had clean rooms here, and of course it's adjacent to some of my other favorite hotels which is great when I want to move around day to day. If I had to make any complaints,, they are very small in comparison to how much I love it. The Wi-Fi can be very spotty and the cell service can also be very spotty, even on the top floors where Nomad is you still struggle at times to get good reception. Typically if you have to work while you're staying you'll do better off in the business center. As far as food options there are so many good restaurants here. The downfall is that after midnight options get more limited and by 1AM there's only one option which is Betty's Grill, and they don't serve anything for pescatarians or vegetarians or vegans. Unless you want to just eat some french fries. I think that should be a consideration, because no one really wants to walk around in the middle of the night for snacks. Not even having a shop where you could buy some chips Inside the hotel after a certain hour sucks, especially if you're gambling. Speaking of gambling, I must say the casino is top-notch, always clean and friendly, and of course smoke free which most people tend to love about this place. Drink service is frequent and friendly. The hosts are great, shout out to Paulo! All of the Vip services team are fantastic, shout out to Jonathan and the rest of the team! The awards desk team and cashiers are all very friendly and helpful across the board. The concierge team at Nomad is also amazing, shoutout to Christian! You really couldn't ask for many better places to stay. Only night owls will suffer a little bit when it comes to food.

Yelp
Better than the majority of casino/resort destinations. The rooms are the top 4 floors of park mgm which is all non smoking. The room was spacious and very clean. Staff were friendly and willing to help with any needs. If you're looking for a more quiet stay away from the hustle and crowds but still a quick elevator ride away from it this is for you. Few downsides was the WiFi was poor. Often not loading anything. The ride share pick up was not outside the nomad entrance and you had to walk a little to get to it.

Yelp
My new favorite place to come and donate too.... ‍ I had a great experience at this smoke free casino, good customer service at the Tables and cashiers, especially with Sean & Brandon? My casino host Hazel was great and made sure I had an experience that would bring me back. Food options were great as I especially liked Baevettes and the quality of food and service received. I'd recommend the Chicago Cut Ribeye which is well worth the cost and calories. The pool was also a standout experience with my host/Server Alex. She did a great job on checking on me and making sure I had everything I needed. Ample good and beverage options as well as three different pools to choose from. I did not get to access the Nomad Pool as it was only open from Friday - Sunday and being closed due to rain on the Friday of my stay. Overall great experience! I will come back but loose less money

Yelp
Stayed here 08/10/2023-08/14/2023. NoMad Las Vegas is a boutique hotel that occupies the top 3 (4?) floors of Park MGM. The finishings of the hotel are high-end and service is noticeably better than other large strip properties. I stayed in an Atelier Suite and really enjoyed it. The doors are thick and heavy and the handles are extremely high-quality. Comes with 1 bathroom that is split into two, one with a toilet and sink and another with shower and sink. There is also a bathtub by the bed. You cannot fit 3 people in the Atelier Suite, definitely meant for couples or solo travelers. I like that the lobby is basically empty and there's not really ever a wait.

Yelp
I have stayed at Park MGM and find this to be a huge improvement. The rooms were great and plenty of room. One annoying thing was that someone from housekeeping just walked into my room when I was in there. That freaked me out a bit, but they gave me a resort credit to make it up to me. They also had plenty of free bottled water.

Yelp
If you want to feel special this hotel is your place....the employees are truly there for you and the rooms are beyond fabulous...very quiet and clean..and a no smoking hotel.. I loved my stay there this week and will definitely be back....the decor is like a Speakeasy atmosphere..dark and plush .

Yelp
We were both surprised at how much we liked NoMad Las Vegas (we generally stay at Encore). It's intimate and service-oriented, classy, restrained and tasteful (hard to believe in Vegas, but there it is). The location is fantastic with easy access to a whole lot of places - yet removed from the crowd. The pool is nice. Quiet, too, except for the elephant dancing on the hardwood floors of the suite one floor above us one night. We stayed in a Grande Suite, and it really was pleasant. Roomy, well-appointed, unbelievably clean and generally well thought-out (the oh-so-solid loud-to-open/close doors and odd you-have-to-leave-the-bedroom-and-open-those-doors-for-the-toilet arrangement notwithstanding). Every employee we encountered was warm and welcoming. Housekeeping was unobtrusive yet delightfully efficient (thank you, Cristy). Late check-out request was instantly granted. Elevators arrived quickly. More people with pets than I like (I'm allergic and don't really like them slobbering on me in the elevator), but that's the clientele, not the hotel. Uber pickup area is a little inconvenient (not nearly as bad as the Aria's absurd situation), but a cab is easy to grab from the valet awning. I'm telling you, we were very pleasantly surprised by our NoMad stay and are definitely hoping to return.

Yelp
NoMad Las Vegas is a hotel on the upper floors of the Park MGM. It's a nice, non smoking hotel that offers all the perks of being at the Park, but with separate check in, elevators and pool. I saw Janet Jackson in the elevator. Amazing. The rooms are the same layout as the Park rooms. The rooms are clean and it feels fancier than the Park. The decor kind of reminds me of Harry Potter. Even the room keys come in this red velvety holder. So fancy. During the summer it's like 583929429 degrees outside, so we spend most of our time in the casino and in the room. It's nice that you can walk through the hotel to Aria and that the parking lot doesn't feel all that far away. Even though it was hot, we did venture to the pool in the late afternoon. It was actually pretty nice around 5:30 and it's much less crowded that the bigger park hotel pool. I only wish they were open later.... Because they closed around 6:30, we didn't get much pool time, but we didn't want to go earlier because it was so hot outside. If you've stayed at the park before, you know there are great restaurants downstairs. I love LaLa Noodle and Eataly. I haven't tried best friend yet, but I will eventually. This is my favorite hotel on the strip. It's also very close to cvs and target. I like getting lots of bottled water from a grocery store when I come to Vegas. This is a nice MGM hotel. One of the nicest, I'd say. If you have status with MGM, try to book a hotel at nomad the next time you get complimentary rooms! Especially if you like staying at the Park.

Yelp
This review is only for The Bar in the High Limit room. If you want a high quality liquor and awesome Mixologist like Juan just come here.He is so nice and so does everybody and the cocktails he made! OMG I love it! You won't be disappoint,Trust me.

Yelp
This is an Awesome hotel in Vegas to stay in. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Joe and Robyn got all our rooms available for early check in for our work team! Free water bottles, quieter location wise also near everything about 10mins drive to other hotels. A nice short 10-15mins walk to Bellagio & Cosmopolitan from Park MGM food court. Lots of food choices to choose from. Casino area is not so busy which is nice. Uber Ride share area is organized. Nomad Bar and Nomad Library was great!! I wish they had coffee machines in the room- Everything else wonderful and will stay again!

Yelp
Loved our stay at NoMad. We visited on a weekday and had an available upgrade to a suite that was amazing. From the design of the room, the exquisite service, and the overall charm of the property; I may have found my new favorite go-to hotel in Vegas. Thank NoMad, we can't wait to be back.

Yelp
Loved my stay at Nomad Las Vegas. I pre-checked in online since my arrival was after 1 am. Parking was easy in the self parking lot, which had a walkway to the hotel and I was able to quickly pick up my keys from the front desk and head to my room. The Nomad has a lovely style that envelopes all of the aspects of the stay: from the velvet key card holders to the ornate do-not-disturb signs for the doors. I was upgraded to the Atelier suite, which was a lovely room with king-sized bed and soaking tub in the bedroom and separate toilet and shower rooms, plus a (large) mini bar and desk space off the main entrance. Breakfast at Primrose was a lovely way to start the day and Eataly was a fun experience for dinner. Nomad is my new favorite hotel in Vegas. I can't wait to stay again!

Yelp
With so many choices on the Strip, why did I stay here? - Utilized Hyatt points for our stay - MGM Gold Member (thus no resort fee + complimentary valet parking) - Smoke-free property - One of the more recent renovated properties - Liked the idea of a "private" hotel without sacrificing the advantages of a big property (Park MGM) Let's go!!! - LOVE the separate entrance/check-in area (ie- you won't find yourself standing in a LONG line to check-in like many LV properties) - Decor/vibe in the public-accessible areas was great + a nice quiet area to relax - Room was excellent (clean, good decor, nice bathroom, good amount of space) - Ate dinner at the Park MGM for (3) nights, and would highly recommend all these restaurants: Best Friend + Babette's Steakhouse + La La Noodle - Service at the front desk was excellent - Same for the valet parking crew My sense is that you are probably thinking.....is there an advantage over the NoMad Hotel vs. Park MGM??? Based on my research/my experience: - NoMad doesn't get crowds/traffic through its' main areas - Check-in + front desk assistance is a breeze! - Liked the "feel" of a more exclusive hotel (even though yes, it is a hotel within a hotel) - Are the rooms "nicer" vs. Park MGM.....well it seems like decor-wise, yes....but I think the rooms are the same size Would I stay here again? You bet!

Allie C.

Yelp
This is one of our favorites places to visit! This hotel doesn't disappoint, but what really sets this hotel apart is the NoMad high limit bar inside the tables high limit room. They make you feel right at home and treat you the best! We will forever love the staff in there, Michelle, Ben, Juan, Chris, Olga and Paula!

Yelp
I was supposedly staying in Nomad which is billed as modern, higher end, smaller but edgier rooms with dark wood. What I got was the 23d floor, bizarre red room, red bathroom, and being in all red is not at all relaxing. The bed was atrociously hard. The pillows were overly thick and neck wrenching. The linens incredibly scratchy. Zero amenities. No bottle of water. No small toiletries. The insult of little tiny printed card that most people literally would squint hard to read to inform us that if we so much as pick up the snacks or water bottles for more than 60 seconds... that we'd be charged ridiculous fees is appalling. The added insult of no mini fridge is annoying... and if we deign to ask for one we'd be charged a rental fee that is also exorbitant. I've never felt so nickel and dimed in my whole life. Just all in all... trashy in the extreme.

Yelp
Stayed at this resort to see the Usher concert and this resort was amazing. The feel of the place and the look gives off a classic 20th century vibe to the place. Staff was very accommodating and very helpful and was eager to answer any questions I had regarding restaurants, gaming, casino, etc. The food and the shops was also a great experience. The Lady Gaga exhibit for example was a nice touch to see at this place. Also the Usher show was amazing and glad I didn't have to travel to another resort to see it. I had such an amazing experience and looking forward to coming back here to see again.

Yelp
We were very happy with our recent stay here. This is kind of a boutique hotel within the large ParkMGM hotel (which I think used to be the Monte Carlo). One great thing was that we were able to check into our rooms on the way to the hotel and use our phone as the key (although we did later get physical keys). It was also very close to the T-Mobile Arena, where we saw some of Pac-12 tournament. The layout is a little confusing--to find the elevators and then later to find the exits and casino (and not well marked). The rooms are very nice and were mainly redone--although the tile floors seem older. We were very pleased with our beds that were very comfortable.

Yelp
We stayed at Park MGM from July 3rd to the 7th. The pool at Park MGM was packed so we went to NoMad. There are no seats that have umbrellas at this pool unless you pay for a cabana or a day bed. As a disabled person that is not able to tolerate too much sun due to a medical disease/condition this is unacceptable. I felt that as a guest at MGM hotel I wasn't appreciated and important to even deserve an umbrella at the pool. Also on 4th of July they closed the NoMad pool and bar at 6pm, we went a bit late so we can enjoy the pool with less sun since there were no umbrella to shade us in the morning hours.

Yelp
Good luck booking.....on their website it said they have an extended Black Friday sale and members can save an extra 15%. I signed up as an MGM rewards member to get the sale prices. When I checked out, there was an offer to apply for an MGM rewards credit card and earn points. I decided to apply. I added the room to my cart and for almost an hour, I tried to book the room and the website kept saying the transaction failed due to a system error. After 20+ attempts I called to book only to get transferred multiple times. Finally I thought I had someone who could help. She was quoting me at over $200 more than the price on the website for the exact same room. She said she couldn't match the website prices, and told me it's possible the website was down but to try again 30 mins later, after I've been trying for almost an hour. I refused to book over the phone and pay $200 more than the price on the website. The woman with reservations spoke to me like I was an idiot and said the price change was due to estimated taxes on the website, but the difference between the estimated taxes I saw on the website and what she had on her end for taxes was approximately $50, not $200. So now I have a hit on my credit, and a credit card I don't even want at this point because I don't want to stay at an MGM property after this. Terrible customer service, and a complete waste of my time.

Yelp
Exceptional service at this hotel!!! Matt at front desk was the best!! Helped me with a difficult situation and made my daughters birthday celebration over the top! And it did not stop at the front desk-down to the very fine details like crystal water glasses and slippers in your room, beautiful bedding and the icing on this most outstanding cake was an espresso machine in room! This was by far the best stay in Las Vegas!!! Thank you NoMad

Yelp
When you walk into your room and have a bottle of red wine waiting for you, you know it'll be a good trip. But before all that, I was enamored by a tricycle by the elevator and nearly jumped out of my skin when I looked up to see the twins from The Shining down the hallway. Halloween in Vegas, baby! I'm sure security got a good laugh watching me jump. So what can be said about The NoMad? The Nomad is located in the upper levels of Park MGM. This place is on such a great central location on The Strip so there are no complaints. The lobby is gorgeous and it's cool that they have their own entrance. The room we got had a very minimalistic design which seems to carry throughout Park MGM. You're either a short walk or a monorail ride away from where ever you need to go and if you need a ride share, the designated area is just right off the side of the lobby. The NoMad is a great and solid place to stay at to catch some Z's while in Las Vegas!

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay here at this boutiquey hotel. The NoMad is actually the upper floors of Park MGM. The entrance to the hotel lobby is at the back end of Park MGM. Check-in was quick and flawless. The elevators however, were extremely slow. There was always a line of people waiting for elevators so plan accordingly. We stayed in a Grande Suite which was very roomy for 2 people. I liked the separate living room area and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and I liked the make-up area in the bathroom as well. One of the cons was not having a refrigerator to use. Otherwise, it was a great affordable room. We primarily picked this hotel as we were attending a concert at Park MGM and liked the convenience. I highly recommend checking out the NoMad Library for cocktails and/or a show and Best Friend restaurant is really good as well! I also liked the fact that we were able to walk to the Aria through an inside walkway (was only a 7 min walk). There's also a tram that you can take from here to other casinos but I can't comment on that as we didn't use it. Overall, a comfortable stay in a good location!

Yelp
Very clean, quiet (stayed on the top floor) and smoke free. Maybe we got lucky, but compared to other venues we trekked through for dinner and such, we were pleased with how the NoMad compared to those. We were there to see Bruno at the attached Dolby Live venue which was very convenient. The beds weren't super comfortable, but they sufficed.

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay. Originally booked a 528 sq ft Atelier Suite and was automatically upgraded to a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom Grande Suite! There was so much room it felt like a nice size apartment with the custom furnishings, hardwood oak floors, and nice simple touches all around that tell you great care was put into designing the room. It lends to how the Nomad is unique compared to all other Vegas hotels. The rooms do not feel like the typical Vegas rooms. They stand out and are unique. They feel like European apartments and rooms. The custom artwork around the room is a nice touch and I enjoyed viewing the photos, especially the Elvis mannequin and the photo of a annoyed, flabbergasted girl at a party. The artwork is customized in each room and no two rooms have the same artwork. If you stay at any of the Nomad rooms, take some time to look at the artwork. The service was simply outstanding here. Since there are only 200 rooms, the service is much more personalized. Nomad occupies the top 4 floors of the Park MGM tower with a separate check in area and a bank of elevators it shares with the upper floors of the Park Mgm section. The lobby feels subdued, dark, and quieter than the Park MGM lobby. I did have an issue with the thermostat in the bedroom but it was quickly fixed. The staff was extremely responsive. A fridge was brought to my room complimentary with water inside. Most places you have to pay, but not here. The other reviews describing the water pressure being amazing is true. The shower pressure in the bathroom is amazing. The best I've had in a Vegas hotel. The pedestal tub in the bedroom was amazing. I opened up the automatic draperies at night and watched the Vegas view in an amazing tub. I'm 5'10" and fit easily in the tub submerged. A 6 ft person would also fit easily in the tub. If I had a choice of MGM properties, I would stay here again. The whole Park MGM complex and Nomad being non-smoking, including the casino is wonderful. The air is much fresher due to the lack of smoke. You won't be disappointed staying here. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Vegas can be an assault on the eyes, ears and nose. There isn't anything I'd call peaceful, until now. The NoMad hotel is an oasis in this jungle of light and sound. As soon as we arrived, our car doors were opened for us and we were greeted with smiles all around. Our bags were put on a cart, we were handed our ticket and we were whisked to the front desk. The first thing you notice upon entering the NoMad is the light level, it's dim but in a peaceful way. Second, the smell. It smells like a spa (the NoMad is non-smoking). Finally, it's QUIET. You can talk to someone across the room and they can hear you. As our week progressed, this respite from the craziness of the strip was even more appreciated. We received an upgrade to a suite - two beds, a desk and a sitting area with the tv. It was large enough for the two of us for a week without being on top of one another. The bathroom was large and well appointed. I have never seen so many towels - it was absolute luxury. The robe and slippers were just a bonus! Every single employee we interacted with was welcoming and helpful. Of particular note are Christian at the front desk, Shayla from housekeeping and especially Mr Edwards who went above and beyond for us. The amenities offered were stellar. There were 4 pools (3 were open), a fitness center, several restaurants and of course the casino (also non-smoking). The hotel was full but, other than breakfast, nothing was too crowded to enjoy. Breakfast, though, was nothing but a fiasco. We had breakfast included in our rate. The only place available was Primrose. IF you could get in without at least a half hour wait, service was slow and the food not very good. It was the only bad experience that we had at the NoMad. The NoMad is a little more higher end then where we'd normally stay but next time I'm in Vegas, I'll DEFINITELY stay here. You should too.

Yelp
The room has a very European feel, it's like a (larger) apartment in Paris. The funniest is the bath tub next to the bedroom. Some rooms are tiny like a shoe box but that's what upgrades are for. All lights can be dimmed. If you want a fridge in the room it's an extra $40 per day charge. Toilet is at the entrance and the rest of the bathroom is on the other side which is odd. But super cost and great view on the aria and pools. Super quiet which is a big plus.

Yelp
One of the worst hotels I've stayed at in Vegas. Do you remember the bed the grandparents slept in from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? If you don't, you should stay here because I believe they imported the exact same bed for their rooms. It is lumpy, noisy, and sure to cause back problems for all. First of all, the walls are paper thin. I could already hear all of my neighbor's loud conversations through the wall CRYSTAL CLEAR. So it's not just a pet issue. The Nomad markets itself as pet friendly, yet puts pets and no pets on the same floors. This makes no sense. When I choose a pet friendly hotel, I don't care about other people's dogs barking because I understand that dogs get anxious in new places. It's not always a matter of training, especially if you have a rescue dog who has a lot of anxiety. If this is a concern for you, that's understandable, but in that case it makes a lot more sense to choose one of the many non-pet friendly hotels on the strip. They also told me they had air purifiers, but when I arrived, they said they only had humidifiers. To top it off, the rooms were extremely dirty. Why they chose to furnish a pet friendly hotel with velvet and cloth everywhere is beyond me. Mysterious stains were everywhere. The bed had crumbs and hair on it. The towels were stained. So gross.

Yelp
For the sake of painting a transparent picture of my journey while staying here, I must express that this was a 5 star stay. SERVICE: The Guest service people were fantastic with helping me get upgraded to the Grande suite which is what i truly hoped for in accommodations for that day. SUITE: One thing I must do is give full credit to this hotel for the details that other hotels easily Miss. The Grande suite was excellent. It had robes (not cheap mass produced sobel westex type robes but by Bellino fine linen) it had slippers it had a clothes steamer which other hotels do not have (aside from Circa). Instead of having an uncomfortable level of light there were dimmers on the light switches so you can select your own desired lighting level. The positioning of the shower handle so you don't have to feel cold water hit you as you turn the shower on....the high-end Plumbing fixtures made by Lefroy Brooks on everything. The high-end blackout curtains that actually blacked out the room to the point where I overslept and had no idea it was light outside. These awesome details matter! The suite itself was nicely appointed, had a home like feel. They covered the wiring behind the TV with a decorative folding screen. Suite had two bathrooms but what was really confusing is that there was only one toilet and it wasn't in the master bathroom where the shower is (?!). Unlike many other hotels there are Q-tips, Emery boards and plenty of amenities in your bathrooms It was truly a beautiful room and absolutely defined what I was looking for in a luxury stay

Yelp
My one night stay was good. Check-in was smooth and access from Nomad lobby to room was easy with the dedicated elevators for Nomad floors. I had a classic king room, which is small but nicely decorated. They did a good job remodeling and retro-fitting the hotel from when it was Monte Carlo. The bed was comfy but the sheets very stiff. Also, the walls are thin, you can hear above and around you. The casino is Park MGM's and it decent, the sportsbook is small and more like a sports bar. I'd stay here again for the right price but it's not my favorite.

Yelp
I must admit I am not a fan of the Park MGM but I really enjoyed staying at the NoMad. Very 1920's prohibition themed design. Check in was very quick and the room is very comfy. We were on the 31st floor with a somewhat view of the MGM hotel across the street. This hotel is much more calm than the massive hotels on the strip. It has its own entrance from outside or you can walk past the elevators through park MGM. My favorite part was the pool. It's much more intimate and had tons of shade from umbrellas. The loungers were all cushioned. Drinks are super pricy but delicious... the guacamole was bomb. This place is worth the extra splurge on the price tag.

Yelp
I honestly did not like this hotel at all! It was really weird! They literally had a tub not to far from the bed! WTH... who comes to Vegas to lay in a tub? The other really odd thing was the shower was closer to the bed and you had to go to the entrance to use the toilet. I find that odd as well. The one thing that was awesome was the room key and the red velvet pouch it came in. This hotel is part of the park mgm and nomad is only the top 5 floors. This is a great casino for non smokers so if you're a smoker ...maybe not for you. Would I pay to stay here again ...nah ...I rather stay downtown... that says enough.. They do have Starbucks though so that's a PLUS

Yelp
We love this hotel! It's a hotel within a hotel located on the top 4 floors of Park MGM so it's quiet, clean and you have elevators dedicated to the Nomad Hotel. We also love the location. Near to everything on the strip.

Yelp
We rented a cabana at the NoMad pool for our second day in Vegas last week. Not inexpensive -- $300 -- but well worth having a cool, shady place to hang out with a waitress to take drink and food orders. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Drinks were good, though pricey, and we ordered hummus which was good. There was a nice fruit platter waiting for us in our fridge which we totally destroyed. Great service, though our umbrella was broken (got that replaced) and our TV didn't work (didn't bother getting that fixed). Definitely a nice little oasis off the beaten track from the usual Park MGM scene.

Yelp
Top Notch accommodation and service. Love that the property is non-smoking. Rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable for hanging, entertaining a small group or more intimate gatherings. Valet and bell services were exemplary. Absolutely recommend and will return

Yelp
I didn't have much expectations coming here, but was pleasantly surprised in how things turned out. The NoMad is a boutique hotel inside the Park MGM. The rooms are higher up so you get a view. The hotel has a London theme, super cute vibe and overall clean. We stayed at the Grande Suite which came with a large bathtub. Upon arriving, we found that the staff left a sweet welcome gift, a bottle of wine. Great service too. Staff was super polite and attentive to our requests. As far as the amenities and offerings at the hotel, there isn't much. Compared to the Cosmo or Bellagio it's much quieter. There's a casino, restaurant, bar, pool and gym. I LOVED the NoMad bar. Live music (weekends) and delicious cocktails. Their gym is spacious and has a lot of equipment. The hotel connects to Eataly and there's other food options within walking distance.

Yelp
Old world feel rooms. Loved the location and being able to travel via tram mostly indoors until as far as The Bellagio. The convenience of this location is great. Eataly is amazing and so easy to grab delicious snacks and food. The Primrose downstairs is decent but not my go to. The Nomad restaurant is expensive but a must. My personal favorite thing about this place is that it's non smoking throughout the casino. We got an upgraded room on the 30th floor. Not the best view but the beds were comfy and the staff was nice. The Nomad has its own front desk and elevators to take you to the top. It's part of the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts so we were able to get a noon check in and 4pm checkout. It comes with F&B credit that we blew through easily.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
I had a great stay in this hotel. The lady that checked us in went through all the Fine Hotels and Resorts exclusive benefits. She was very professional. The room is spacious. The bathroom doesn't have a bathtub but It doesn't matter to me. The strip view isn't the best but it's good enough considering their location. The hotel lighting is quite dark though from the reception to the hallway. I guess it's good if you have a hangover. If you are watching a concert at the Dolby, this would be the best place to stay.

Yelp
COVID SAFE! This hotel staff is EVERYTHING! From the front desk (Kimberly), to concierge (Juanetta), to housekeeping Yovenne (manager) we could not be more appreciative; just to name a few people but not all. Everything is clean! The staff is extremely helpful and so very friendly. They have gone above and beyond to make our stay at Nomad positive, and I can definitely say we will be back in a few weeks again! MGM and MLife always draw my husband and our little family to Vegas, and amongst all of the wonderful resorts we've stayed at (Aria, Mirage, Bellagio, Venetian, Park..etc) Nomad is something completely different! An experience unlike any other on the strip... The room- A dark yet chic experience, with French decor and styles throughout. Large rooms, nice showers even if you don't check into a room with a bathtub. A very soothing atmosphere, a boutique hotel right on the strip.. similar to those you'd find in Manhattan but definitely with a lot more square footage. Close to restaurants and on the strip.. Kid friendly! Here's to hidden gems Yelpers! Definitely check this one out! X -1 Star for dust! I had an allergic reaction because of dust that cannot be seen to the blind eye.. House keeping definitely needs to turn on all the lights to ensure dust is not an issue.
