"Let’s start big picture here.     Guests staying at The NoMad Las Vegas , a boutique hotel within the larger Park MGM Resort, have access to their very own rooftop pool on the 6th floor. Inspired by the Majorelle Gardens of Morocco and designed by Jacques Garcia (the interior designer for NoMad), the intimate pool deck ditches the usual Vegas poolside furniture of plastic chairs and glass tables for rattan loungers topped with plush padding and wooden Morroccan side tables. There’s just one pool, but with well-made drinks from the NoMad bar team and delicious small plates created by Eleven Madison Park ’s Daniel Humm, you won’t need much more. Any standout features or must-sees?      For now, the pool is only open on the weekends but it has put its weekend party scene on hold as well. Guests can thankfully still order up gourmet bites from the restaurant and slurp clever cocktails from NoMad’s star mixologist Leo Robitschek while they lounge poolside. Yet the most standout feature might just be having a gorgeous and intimate rooftop pool free of wild Vegas partiers. Was it easy to get around?      NoMad guests can access the pool through the spa, but on weekends they will have to go to a different entrance just off the Park MGM front desk and past the Primrose restaurant. All said and done, what—and who—is this best for?   The limited space of the rooftop ensures that you won’t be participating in some overrun pool party. But it is a pricey way to spend a weekend by the pool. If you can, soak up the sunshine and peace during the week." - Juliana Shallcross
