Landmark saloon, converted from a 19th-century sailing ship, dispensing draft beer & pub grub.
"The Old Ship Saloon is a bar built on the remains of the Arkansas ship that ran aground in 1849. Located at the northeast corner of Pacific and Battery wharves, the bar started operation in 1851. The current building stands over the ship's remains, and archaeological excavations have found old bottles and parts of the ship's hull."
"Will Herrera, the general manager of 200-year-old downtown San Francisco watering hole the Old Ship Saloon, the overall takeaway is simple: The service that the Old Ship has provided for 200 years." - Luke Tsai
