"A gastropub on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich that opened in 2004 and became one of the area’s standout pubs and restaurants, particularly known for serving one of East Dulwich’s best Sunday roasts, will close on 3 June 2019 after fifteen years. The closure was reported by Hot Dinners and announced on Instagram; owner and executive chef Jamie Younger explained that the business has reached the end of its lease and is not being offered a new one, inviting customers to visit before the last day. The venue underwent a complete kitchen refurbishment in summer 2018 to try to ensure its longevity, but those improvements did not prevent the planned closure amid the neighbourhood’s ongoing gentrification." - James Hansen

While the likes of EDT and The Actress are good choices for a boozy evening out with a bit of food thrown in, here it is the other way round.
