Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Boston | Eater Boston

"Aside from the breakfast menu, which is inherently kid-friendly, the kids dinner menu at the Paramount includes chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce and grilled cheese on sourdough. Each kids meal includes a side — including fruit salad or broccoli — and a drink. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but there are high chairs and booster seats available for kids." - Erika Adams

The Best Restaurants In Beacon Hill 2024

"This classic spot is essentially a really good diner with a liquor license, which means you can pair your grilled steak and eggs with an espresso martini. The Paramount is typically packed on weekends, but if you’re lucky enough to have a schedule that allows for a weekday brunch they serve it seven days a week. This is a great spot to fuel up before (or after) a morning stroll through the Public Garden, or window shopping posh townhouses. The quick service delivers basics like two eggs with a choice of meat and customizable breakfast sandwiches (alway add avocado), but decadent dishes like the caramel banana french toast and Nutella waffle with whipped cream are where it’s at." - tanya edwards

We have been coming here since 2013. Whenever we are in town we like to have breakfast here, usually post Boston Marathon as a celebratory breakfast. It has changed over the years. Not sure if it’s under new management, but the food is usually very good. We were a little dissatisfied this year with the blueberry waffle. It was drowning in blueberries! And the waffle itself wasn’t very crispy and a little on the small side. The scramble eggs were good in texture (creamy) but could have used more seasoning. The toast arrived with only butter, we had to ask a server for jam. The breakfast potatoes were great! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and well seasoned. Think cut bacon cooked well and a generous portion. The coffee wasn’t great, a little bitter for me. Service is always great, we were a small party of 2 and didn’t have to wait to be seated. We like the charm of the restaurant, a diner vibe with open kitchen.

We visited The Paramount in Boston and really enjoyed it! It’s a great spot if you’re looking to have a classic breakfast in the city. The atmosphere is lively, the food is fresh and tasty, and everything feels warm and welcoming. A bit busy, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Boston and want to start your day from something tasty😋

Staying in Boston for one night, I did a quick Google search and came across this establishment that serves brunch all day. I was impressed by some of the pictures posted. Entering the restaurant, I was not disappointed. We were greeted by very friendly staff who brought us promptly to a table. The food was phenomenal and arrived very quickly after ordering. Additionally, the waitress was very kind and was able to make a custom latte with an alternative milk for me. We will certainly return when we stay in Boston again. 10/10 recommend.

Google
Stopped by The Paramount just for the pancakes — and they delivered. Fluffy, thick, perfectly golden buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, served with real maple syrup and bottomless coffee. Didn’t look at the rest of the menu. Didn’t need to. If you’re craving classic American-style pancakes in Boston, this place is a no-brainer.

Great spot to grab breakfast before starting the freedom trail! They have great options. We ate here twice on our trip and enjoyed everything we got.

If you want to eat American style breakfast, choose the restaurant!! The restaurant is located in Beacon hill where has beautiful nature, beautiful houses. After eating you can walk around in Beacon hill. There are many kind of breakfast in here. The portion is little too much for me, so I recommend you that you will eat for brunch.

Google
Oh, what a mornin’ at The Pah’mount, kid! The Queen and I rolled into Beacon Hill like we owned the place—until we hit the Friday parking sitch. Ay-yah, you’d think findin’ a spot in this city before noon was like tryin’ to parallel park a duck boat. But once we ditched the cah and hoofed it over, *bam*—we were back in business. Now, for you old-school Bahstonians, remember the original Paramount drill? You’d queue up like it was a Dunks run on a snow day, shout your order while some poor soul flipped pancakes like a circus act, then play musical chairs with your tray huntin’ for a table. Not anymore! Now? They seat ya like royalty—menus, water, coffee before you even blink—and the joint’s got a glow-up brighter than a Pats fan after a touchdown. Fresh paint, snazzy colors, but thank the food gods, the grub’s still bangin’. Let me tell ya, the Caramel & Banana French Toast? Fuggedaboutit. That caramel sauce is slickah than a politician’s handshake—sweet but not cloyin’, with bananas ripe enough to make a smoothie jealous. The Queen went full Huevos Rancheros and gave it the royal nod—spicy, savory, wicked tasty. Bottom line? The Pah’mount’s still got it. Yeah, parkin’s a circus, but trust me—this breakfast? Worth every cah horn and parallel parkin’ swear word. Get in there, ya hear?" —Your Bahston Breakfast Spy 🍳☕

The Paramount was our first stop on our first of two days touring Boston. We arrived just before opening, and rather than being welcomed, when we stepped in, were told, "We're not open yet," so headed back just outside the door, where several other patrons soon gathered, too. When they did open, a server came to the door and stated, "If you want to be outside, you can sit wherever you want." It was kind of a scramble from there, but since we were closest to the entryway, we were actually last to choose our seats. Fortunately, service was better from there! Water arrived soon, and was filled throughout our stay. My wife enjoyed a Rose Bellini with her Mediterranean Omelette, and I had Irish Cream Coffee with a delicious Dulce de Leche Banana French Toast. The granola on it was a great addition. Given where we in Boston we were dining, and that state of costs for eating out in general, the prices for the food were very reasonable.

Yelp
Overall really good experience here at The Paramount. It's almost always pretty busy, so be ready for a little bit of a wait. In the end, the wait will probably be worth it though! We ordered a handful of dishes -- the French toast was really good and the fruit was very fresh. We also got a bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese and it was good as well. As you can expect, prices were pretty steep which unfortunately prohibits a casual dining experience. Definitely would recommend as a weekly or monthly brunch stop!

Yelp
Loved this place. The Paramount is located in the beautiful, picturesque Beacon Hill. It's a quick walk from the MGH red line stop. They have a nice selection of outdoor seating, as well as some indoor options. We sat outside (end of September) and did find it to be chilly at times, but not unbearable. My husband and I both ordered a Mediterranean omelette which also came with a side of potatoes and some pita! It was so delicious. I also ordered an iced chai latte which had the perfect blend of chai.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
Overall I'd give my experience at The Paramount a 3.5, although I'm bumping it up to 4 since they have plant-based options and I really enjoyed my drink! My sister and I were wandering around Beacon Hill at dinner time and decided to give The Paramount a shot. I wanted to sit outside (a more pleasant ambiance) although she was overheating so we snagged a table in the medium-small interior. For drinks I wanted a refreshing options, so I chose the Rosé Pomegranate Paloma--prosecco, tequila reposado, cordial, natural citrus flavor ($13). It had Aperol Spritz vibes, but was better in my opinion. After going back and forth between a few options I ordered The Roasted Buddha Bowl for my meal, which includes crispy fried tofu, baby spinach, roasted beets, zucchini, cauliflower, asparagus, chickpeas, avocado, toasted peanuts, sesame seeds, and a white balsamic lemon vinaigrette ($19). I loved certain components of this bowl. The crispy tofu was yum, as was the cauliflower. It was a bit heavily dressed for my taste, so ask for light dressing if you also prefer less. Overall happy with the healthy(ish) option though! Service was decent, no complaints there. If you're in the area and want a casual bite with a variety of meal options, The Paramount is worth considering.

Yelp
Such a fun find in Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood. While the past may have required ordering before being seated, the plan these days is to wait in line at the door, be seated by the wait staff, then order. Space is premium, service is lightning fast, open concept kitchen allows wait staff to keep an eye on what's coming up from the kitchen while they are serving tables. The food was superb!!!
google avatar

Ann A.

Yelp
Ordered the Mediterranean Omelette and had no clue where they were headed with this omelette's palate-- it was dry and kind of gross tasting. I only ordered this because it's one of the few things that was friendly to my dietary restrictions. I usually box food I don't finish but I didn't even bother with this. The home fries tasted old - they had that fridge taste. We also ordered one of the banana French toasts. It was good tasting but rather very small in portion. 2 stars because at least the staff was friendly, or else the food would have earned 1 star. It's a casual place, very small but we're also to make place for 6 of us.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are breakfast fanatics. We love to try new spots especially when out of town. This place appeals as a cute, small diner in Beacon Hill. Food tasted great! But I must say, $6 for a 3 pieces of bacon is a bit steep and coffee could be refilled a little more frequently. Still, I'd say it's worth a try for visitors and I would see us visiting often if we were local
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
We sat outside cause it had a little decorated area that is cute. The food was ok at best. The waitress was kind but the food took a long time, and wasn't my favorite. We had the caprese which was ok, and then I had the bolognese which was also just ok. Maybe we ordered the wrong things on the menu?

Yelp
Very cute and cozy brunch in beacon hill. On the main shopping street. The outside area with the umbrellas were so cute. Food was so good, get the waffle with strawberrries! I asked for crispy bacon and it wasn't crispy at all so that was the only downfall.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
This restaurant is very much Beacon Hill personified. Okay brunch food. Mediocre at best. The service is quick but I feel like I just went to Park Slope or Carroll Gardens and just got the same thing. The French Toast is tiny, and the strawberries were not fresh. At least the bananas were. And if it were not for the fact the whipped cream made the fruit taste better, this dish would not be good at all. Perhaps I should have stuck with the Huevos Rancheros. It gets busy here quick, so get here early or you could be here awhile. This is mostly true for weekend visits.

Yelp
There's such a thing as piling on, and my drop-in-the-bucket 5* rating of Paramount won't stand out from the crowd. Still what is a destination spot every Boston trip should be documented. Since I'm always here on a weekday morning, I don't have to battle the weekend brunch crowds. I did brave that madness once to great fanfare however (1.5 hrs later, I was full). Today it's just me and a couple localites grabbing our early-fall morning sustenance. Since I don't live down the street (help us, cholesterol, if so), my go-to will be blueberry pancakes (with real Vermont syrup straight from the trees of course). These are giant, so bring your empty belly. Besides that I bounce around between breakfast meats and sometimes eggs. Plenty of choices among the meats if you're looking to mix it up. And for those frowning at my indulgence, you can get your yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, whole wheat toast, egg whites, etc. All that looks really good, but I come here for the carbs. Nice weather means you can sit outside and take in the sights and sounds of North End. Today that would be great for lunch. Speaking of that the pulled pork or steak and cheese sandwiches are a good choice, or even the veggie beans and quinoa burger. I'll primarily stick to breakfast for sentimental and edible reasons, and will look for you there the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I was walking around Beacon Hill checking out the sites and decided to drop by for breakfast. This place is a cute restaurant and busy. Good timing that I was lucky to get a seat right away. ( maybe because I was dining alone) Anyway my meal was delicious.

Yelp
Returning here from a three year's absence. Place continues to deliver the best food around. I always come here for breakfast. Chorizo omlet today was very good. It is sizable.

Yelp
The staff and the food is always great when I come here. The ambiance was great. They sat us by the window and my son enjoyed saying hi to everyone.

Yelp
Recently visited this place for a weekend brunch. They had amazing vegetarian options. Their vegan bean quinoa burger is a must try and so is their buttermilk pancakes. I totally loved their patio with beautiful flowers by the side made a good ambiance. The service was quick with almost not waiting for a long I remember! Staff was friendly. Kudus to the team for making it a good experience

Yelp
Go where the people eat! Was visiting Beacon Hill and the doorman at our hotel said to check out The Paramount. So we did and it was a hearty breakfast that provided a lot for a good price. Best of all the food hit the spot! We had to wait a bit to be seated as the restaurant is on the smaller side but usually where there is a wait there is good food and so was the case here. Luckily, we arrived at the right time during the busy holidays so we didn't have to wait too long for a table to open up. The service was outstanding. Never wanted for refills or condiments. Oh and the grilled potatoes were completely yummy! It was hard to choose between pancakes and eggs but I went with the eggs to get these potatoes! Would return if I lived there.

Yelp
Everything taste so good at this place, you must try. Great price as well. The croissant texture was awesome with the egg and I also enjoyed the cinnamon French toast mmmm mmm.

Yelp
Service & food were both amazing. It's a first come first serve basis but the line moves fairly quickly. Loved the Huevos rancheros was 10/10!

Yelp
This is a very cute little breakfast spot in Beacon Hill. It was cozy and quaint. The staff was friendly, fast and efficient but the food was lacking, in my opinion. My wife got the Belgian waffle and said it was delicious, but my breakfast sandwich was not good. First off, they forgot the cheese (I understand mistakes happen) but it certainly changed the flavor profile. The sandwich was on sourdough toast, which was completely dried out. My home fries tasted very old and stale, lacked spice and flavor, and they were lukewarm. From the outside this place looks great, but, order carefully. And the coffee... Wow, that was some pretty bad coffee
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch while exploring Boston with my fiance. We ate outside in their beautiful little outdoor seating area. Service was a bit slow to get started, but eventually things got going. It may have been since it was the final hour or two for them for the day (they're a brunch place). We both had sandwiches which were pretty good. Not a bad place to stop when in the area.
google avatar

Christiane M.

Yelp
lovely place with such good food!!! great location and great patio. not too expensive. pancakes were awesome. service was okay, not too attentive but enjoyed the experience anyways!
google avatar

Koko S.

Yelp
The potato came in cold and my toast was not fresh and was cold. I really got annoyed by their food, fresh toast is the minimum and they couldn't do it.

Yelp
We recented visited The Paramount for a pre-theater dinner on a beautiful Saturday evening. The outdoor tables were in high demand, so we opted to be seated promptly inside. First of all, I love the neighborhood vibe of The Paramount. Despite the crowds on Charles St. and proximity to the Public Garden and Boston Common, this always feels more like a place for locals than tourists. The old classic diner tables feel a bit out of place for a Saturday night, but the casual atmosphere and mid-range prices are a welcome change from many of the area restaurants. On the decadent side of spectrum, we tried the grilled bavette steak frite, which was a hearty portion of steak that we wished was a bit more tender, but it was decent. Similarly, the truffle parmesan French fries were flavorful, but clumped together in a way that made them a little soggy, rather than crispy. Some improvements on the textures would have made this dish great, but it was still enjoyable - and very filling. There are lighter options too, and the Buddha Bowl was a nice variety of vegetables and proteins. It had been 24 years since we last dined at The Paramount...the number of Boston restaurants that have come and gone in that timespan is staggering, so clearly they are consistently pleasing their loyal patrons.

M N.

Yelp
I have lived in downtown Boston for decades and have eaten at the Paramount probably over 100 times. I hate having to admit this, but sadly the quality has just dropped... I had breakfast w/ a friend two weeks ago and the food was so mediocre. The 'sour dough' toast was not sour dough and the equivalent of bagged bread. My omelet w/ cheese was skimpy. The waffle we ordered to share was overcooked--almost burnt. This morning I went for breakfast again--same omelet, super skimpy. I didn't want potatoes and asked if in place of them I could just have a small serving/side of fruit. Nope... only if willing to pay $3 mark up. Further, sour dough bread same bread. No butter--had to request it. And my side pancake had a huge piece of saran wrap baked into the middle of it. Saran wrap. Quite grateful I saw it before I swallowed it and potentially choked on it. The waiter was unphased. I had to ask him to please take the pancake off the bill. Quite frankly, most restaurants would have comped the whole breakfast. $30 breakfasts cannot be this crappy. Paramount, you're supposed to be better than an iHop or Denny's, right? I know mistakes happen and good help hard to find, but raise the bar. You're resting on your laurels, Paramount. And if the yes on question 5 passes and the prices go up further, people will absolutely go elsewhere if the quality is this poor. To the tourists, if you are standing in line for this place, you are wasting your time and money. There is better out there!
google avatar

Melanie M.

Yelp
Cute out door patio with very friendly service! Food came out fast. Eggs were good but not amazing, and my partner loved his sandwich. Would come back again for brunch or lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
The coffee is good. The breakfast is fine. The belgium waffles are delicious. I enjoyed my greek yougurt.
google avatar

Josh W.

Yelp
My wife and I stumbled upon The Paramount while exploring Beacon Hill's shops, and we're glad we did! Their breakfast sandwiches are a solid 10/10! You can choose your protein and bread, and they're absolutely delicious. We loved them so much that we went back the next day. Don't worry about the line outside; it moves quickly, and the service is great. Plus, the patio seating was perfect for enjoying the Memorial Day weekend weather. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Britt M.

Yelp
Great little brunch spot in beacon hill. We came on a Saturday around 9am and we're lucky to snag a spot on the patio almost immediately. The line formed pretty fast after we arrived. The food was good, I had the breakfast sandi and my husband got the brioche French toast. Both were delicious! The potatoes were not good tho, they kind of tasted like they were old/went bad
google avatar

Dody E.

Yelp
For BRUNCH, this place is excellent - good prices for the area and homemade food that they make right in front of you (huge bonus). The service is friendly. I'd get here early because it can get busy, which adds to the ambiance. It's a unique mash-up of "beacon hill" and retro/alternative diner vibe. Great stuff. I would definitely be sure to try some of their more elaborate dishes - they pack a bit more flavor than the standard breakfast options.

Tom R.

Yelp
MEDITERRANEAN OMELETTE* Feta cheese, tomatoes, olives, spinach, artichoke, Romesco tzatziki sauce, pita bread. I thought I would try it one more time. WHY!! I ordered the above omelet: a teaspoon of tomatoes, literally, a teaspoon worth, a full tablespoon of spinach, the only artichoke was 2 dry leaves on the side, no hearts of artichoke, not even a teaspoon. When I ordered, I said I wanted cream with my coffee. When they brought my coffee, there was no cream. Then 10 minutes later it came so that I could put it in my cold coffee. DON'T GO
google avatar

Chantal O.

Yelp
I came to this restaurant for lunch during my last visit to Boston because it was recommended by someone at the hotel where we were staying. We wanted to sit outside since the weather was nice but there was no wait if we stayed inside, so we decided to take a table next to the kitchen. It was Sunday morning and it was crowded so we were pleased by the no waiting time. The menu had many brunch options including eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches and a couple healthy options with oatmeal and yogurt. The food came out fairly quickly, I had a breakfast sandwich which was really good. We also ordered the Mediterranean bowl which was OK but nothing too special. The experience overall was good but the only reason they are not getting five stars is because I ordered mustard and they brought it without saying it had an extra cost. Not sure if this is standard in Boston, but the waitress should have told me the price before bringing a small side of mustard.

Yelp
Walked in and wasn't greeted. Felt like the staff thought I was a transient or something. No smiles and was hesitant to talk to me. I wanted to place an order to go. When I got a hold of someone they asked what did I want and I had to ask for a menu because it was my first time there. It wasn't until I paid did the person who took my order relax. I ordered pancakes, eggs and potatoes. I told them i would be back to collect my order because they quoted 10 minutes. When I came back the waitress stood right in front of me and sat the bag on the counter instead of handing my the order. Mind you there was nothing between us but the counter to the left of me. The pancakes were dry until I ate the middle and the egg and potatoes were normal diner food. There was only a few open seats in the inside from what I could tell but outdoor had a good amount of open seats. Spent about $24

Yelp
Honestly any place that offers a pitchers of mimosas is my place to be! The native Bostonian boyfriend chose the brunch spot and I wasn't disappointed. I got the waffle with Nutella, bananas and strawberry with a side of bacon and house fries. He got one of the french toast plates. It was so good we (I) actually finished all my food, lol.

Kat L.

Yelp
Solid brunch spot on Beacon Hill! I dreaaaaam about their pancakes ugh. Friendly wait staff that leave you alone to enjoy your meal and a good relaxed environment. You can tell people come here for the food. Came for brunch and the restaurant was a little full but we were seated right away. The wait staff was super nice and they didn't rush us to order so we got to explore the menu. Settled on two things: - Buttermilk pancakes with Strawberry add-ons - Buffalo chicken wrap that came with fries Everything is made fresh to order, at first when they brought the pancakes, they forgot the strawberry's but they quickly fixed it/added them when I pointed it out. The pancakes were dusted with confectioners sugar. It was so fluffy and moist, cooked perfectly too. The fresh strawberries were coated in a simple syrup that didn't take away from their flavor. The combination itself was soooo good, the buttery pancakes with the fresh subtle tang from the strawberries, ugh, amazing. The Buffalo chicken wrap was also pretty decent. It was a simple wrap with fresh ingredients, wasn't my favorite but it was pretty good if you like Buffalo chicken and blue cheese. It also came with fries that had the perfect amount of crisp to them. I kind of wish they came with more fries since it seemed to be lacking (quantity wise). Overall 5 stars, would recommend checking them out! The menu has so many options and there's wine too. The food was so flavorful and fresh, will come back again whenever I get the chance.

Yelp
5 members of my family met at The Paramount for breakfast on a Friday morning a week ago. We were seated promptly outside in one of the seating areas that came about during Covid. The umbrella blocked the direct sunlight and UV rays and traffic moved around us. Beacon Hill was busy that morning as was The Paramount. All tables were full and our party filled the two small rectangular umbrella tables. Service was swift and attentive, and coffee with refills was served up. Our orders were placed and delivered shortly. The portions were large and a bit overwhelming. I had the Cinnamon French Toast which was extra delicious, and had fresh fruit including strawberries, blueberries with whipped cream and Nutella. I could only eat about half and it was plenty to keep me going. Food: reasonably priced and tasty Service: fast and friendly Ambiance: the weather was pleasant and it felt like you were in a bustling downtown. On the whole I give the Paramount an A+ and I would not hesitate to eat there again.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by The Paramount for lunch today after walking through Beacon Hill. The inside has a diner feel which is very cute. The service was good but we were left with empty water glasses for most of our meal. We all enjoyed our food but it was nothing special. I think the issue was we got mainly savory lunch items. I've been to Paramount before for breakfast and they always knock it out of the park! Next time I come back, it'll be for the pancakes

Justin B.

Yelp
Western Burrito was pretty small and wasn't great. Eggs I believe were fried not scrambled, a little weird for breakfast burrito. The home fries weren't bad, and the iced coffee was actually pretty good. The ambiance inside was not good, but the outside looked much nicer. Service was only okay. Overall a very average experience, would look at other places first.
google avatar

Miranda S.

Yelp
Good staple brunch spot and the area is nice! I found the food is kinda plain but I am from the south and I ordered a pretty plain breakfast haha. Had 6 people and we waited about 45 minutes on a Sunday without reservation so can't complain! I felt that it was cheap for the area and would definitely go again!

Yelp
This brunch spot is a hidden treasure nestled in historical Beacon Hill in Boston. The service was wonderful. We were seated so quickly on a busy Sunday afternoon, no less, and our waitress was very friendly. We didnt have wait long for our food either. The food was delicious-- we ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the french toast. They were absolutely delicious! Such great flavor. Overall this was an unexpected surprise and a must visit if you're visiting Boston. Afterwards you can walk off breakfast with a lovely stroll through Beacon Hill, too!

Gary W.

Yelp
We ordered two Paramount breakfasts consisting of eggs bacon and fried potatoes. they were served within a reasonable amount of time. Both breakfasts were not hot but mine was quite cold. the eggs were changed (which I ate) but the bacon was too cool to eat and the potatoes that had been deep fried were too crispy and cold to eat. We were charged for both breakfasts but in the end I paid for one breakfast (that was far from good) and my eggs and a coffee. This was by far the worst breakfast I've had in the USA.

Melissa C.

Yelp
I think about this place like once a week but the line out the door stops me from going every weekend. It's really not too bad if all your friends are there to chat though! This place is so cute and fun. The service was amazing and the food was just absolutely delish!
google avatar

Natasha C.

Yelp
Service was quick, the ambiance is warm, and the food is tasty. A bit pricy coming to a total of $26.

Yelp
Review for brunch! I've been to the paramount twice thus far and it's always been a good, cute brunch spot. It's smaller on the inside, but they do pull out tables outdoors during the better weathered seasons. I believe it's also a stop of the "haunted ghost tours of Boston", so that's fun. The restaurant gets packed due to its limited capacity seating, but I've never had a long wait. The food is efficiently brought out after ordering as well, so I'd say service time is generally good. The menu has a variety of wraps, bowls, French toast and pancakes. I enjoy the shakshuka with eggs, and the French toast is their popular dish! The coffee menu is good as well. Overall, a yummy and quick brunch for under $30/person for a meal and coffee isn't too shabby. I recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
The neighborhood is great. Very picturesque. The food good. Nothing to write home about. The potato's on each plate were served cold and not flavorful. If you are looking for home fries , this isn't that at all. The glass of water was dirty. The latte very good. The food again was very average and basic dinner food. I must admit the service was exceptional. Everyone was warm friendly and inviting. But again. I would not return. Hard to park here and very average food.

Yelp
Classic brunch spot! Good good, good service, good vibes. Nothing mind blowing, but relatively cheap (especially for the area) and high quality, so not hard to see why it is so popular. Would recommend!

Yelp
So happy to visit The Paramount again after them being closed during remodel. They didn't disappoint! The Salmon Omelette was superb with generous portion of Home Fries and Hearty Wheat toast. I would've given 5 stars if not for my server. My waitress AM H however needs training or to be sent to dishwashing. She took my order, delivered the food and then my check. She never asked how the food was or if I needed anything. I had to ask another waitress who was very helpful for some butter and coffee refills. As a reminder TIPS = to insure prompt service!

Yelp
Affordable and yummy food! Restaurant is a bit cramped and loud but other than that, great experience! Pancakes are uniquely cakey which is something different.

Yelp
I had time to kill while witching on an appt MGH. I heard about this place and thought to walk over for breakfast. The walk over and the neighborhood were beautiful! I sat right away. The place is offers close quarters seating. I was greeted right away. My service was great. But I came for food. I got an omelette that was slapped together. It was small and bland. The home fries were not hot or even warm. They were room temp at best. Some were almost cold. Small portion here also. The bagel I got probably should've been thrown out 2 days ago. I only got 1 square of butter. 1 pad for a toasted, stale bagel. It wasn't cheap, either. I would never go back. So sorry for the review but you have a lot to clean up.

Yelp
Been to this place many times for breakfast before the pandemic... seemed okay ( and crowded) back then. Went the other day for dinner and not sure whether the place just went downhill or whether the management changed!? NEVER again! NEVER have I eaten such terrible salmon burger, fishy eggy taste ( bad buns?), fish not fresh? ( in fact the party at the table behind us was unable to finish their fish either and we could smell the bad fishy odor all the way at our table)---- not to mention they charge you a whole extra $6 for substituting the fries ( without any mention of any charges whatsoever!) until you get a surprise bill for $80! for a burger and an appetizer with NO alcohol! AND the hot espresso that I had ordered was in fact REGULAR coffee and cold, and they took another 5 min to get me sugar. by that time I was left with ice cold old coffee and cold milk. TERRIBLE waste of time & money. I don't mind spending hundreds on quality food, this place is just absolutely terrible!
