"At The Peach in Oakland’s Lakeshore, you’ll find Asian-inspired brunch dishes like pancakes with peach (of course) and guava, french toast with miso vanilla cream, and a take on shrimp and grits using rice porridge. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Love this place!! The servers were super friendly and easy going. We were being annoying and having too much fun and our server played right along. Mimosas were so good, they juice their own fruit blend?! The menu was full of creative fusion dishes, we had a hard time choosing. Everything was delicious. The ricotta pancakes, the biscuits, the fried chicken and hot honey. Loved every bite. Would totally come back, exactly what you want for a brunch spot without any fussiness. We didn’t have the wait, the place was not busy. The server said that was unusual though. There’s street parking, just kind of have to look around. Most places say you have to pay but hardly anyone does.

Got the Lucky Peach Plate: Potatoes were perfectly seasoned and had a slight hint of butter. The eggs were yummy and cooked to how I requested. Bacon was good as well! This restaurant is super cute and well decorated, it has southern charm with a hint of minimalism which makes it feel very open! The staff is super friendly. My friend had to run out to move her car and they came over and asked if she was coming back and proceeded to cover her food so it wouldn’t be super cold when she got back! Very thoughtful of them!

I stopped by The Peach during their grand opening, and it was a pleasant surprise. The spot used to house a different restaurant that I never got around to trying, but this time, as I walked by, the bustling atmosphere and someone washing the windows caught my eye. It was clear this was a brand-new place. The aesthetics immediately stood out to me—it feels cozy and inviting with warm colors and a thoughtful design. The positive energy from the staff only added to the charm. I ordered the SUSU steak meal, and it was absolutely fantastic. The steak was perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was top-notch. If you're in the area and craving great food, I highly recommend giving them a try. While the prices are on the higher side, it's consistent with the overall pricing in this neighborhood. For the quality and experience, it’s worth it.

The vibe was so cute and California chic. The food was good, especially the biscuits!!! The pancakes and smashed friend chicken and the open faced omelette is what we had and we loved it. My husband especially loved the potatoes as well. He came once and had to bring me back. Looking forward to what they bring to the Oakland community!

First time I tried Thai ice tea and it was good. We went for restaurant week and got the Thai tea cinnamon bun and it was so good. For our mains we split the congee and the pork toast dish and they were delicious. The interior is very millennial coded which was appreciated. We will be back!

Google
2nd review. 3rd visit. 3 people. The experience got worse each time. Went for restaurant week special. They were out of items in each section (drink, starter, main). The food is basic, nothing worth a return. There was nothing thai tea about the thai tea cinnamon roll. The table was given the same menu with 2 different prices. They were out of items and changed the prices. Why change the prices and not remove the items that were not available?!?Most places inform guests with parties of 6 or more of a 20% gratuity. There was no signage, no message from the host or server and no message on either menu about the automatic 18% gratuity. The server informed us when they brought the check to the table. Then they lied and said that it's not for a large party but the receipt said large party gratuity. It was just 3 of us and we didn't split the bill. Paying the 18% gratuity wasn't the issue, it was the forcing it passively at the end without informing ahead of time. And we reserved the patio but they don't use the patio during the week.

Sooo tasty!!! We each got the breakfast sandwich and split a cinnamon roll. It was very filling and delicious. The breakfast potatoes were a nice bonus and crisp to perfection.

Yelp
I can't even begin to express how wonderful this place is. The food is sooooo good and the service is impeccable. My daughter picked this place to have her Sweet 16 bday party/brunch. We bought out the back patio and it was super affordable. The communication went smoothly, even with them being a new restaurant. The restaurant is modern and the plants give it such a good vibe. They even have good music yall!! When I learned they were afflicted with Joe's Modern Thai, I knew we were in good hands. I want to personally thank Sam, Chef Juan and Kcyln. Oh and I can't forget the lead waiter. You all exceeded my expectations. You made me feel like family, not just a customer. My daughter will have this beautiful memory forever! Today is her actual birthday. Happy Birthday Syd!

Yelp
Definitely supporting local businesses and this breakfast eatery replaced the Lakeshore Cafe. Trendy decor is great for a mimosa or bubbly meet up. My friend ordered a strawberry bellini and enjoyed it. I actually was hoping for a chai tea latte but there were only tea bags. The tea bag was ok. Was looking forward to the biscuits which are not included in a plate. So, I added sides of bacon and eggs. The biscuits were served with a honey butter that would have been so much better with a homemade jam. My friend went with the Luck Peach Plate which came with sausage, potatoes and eggs. The potatoes were smashed fingerlings and good. Giving credit for opening not too long ago but needing more signature on menu items. For the price point, things like homemade jam, sauces and a strong barista will make a notable difference for customers.

Yelp
I was excited to see that a new place had opened for brunch on lakeshore. I was with friends and our hopes were high for this place since it took over one of the best brunch places in town. Sadly this place did not meet my expectations. The prices were fine, but the food did not meet the price point. The pancakes, french fries, and the chicken apple sausage were amazing. Although I cannot say the same about the rest of the food. The bacon tasted a bit weird and was overly fatty, and the eggs were mediocre. For some strange reason they didn't have jam they only had compote which you had to pay extra money for. Next comes the service, they forgot a few items we ordered, and we had to remind them. It took them a while to give us our food, considering how little people were the in the restaurant. The decor was cute and gave an aesthetic vibe. The bathrooms were really dark, but the rest of the restaurant was well lit. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you live around the restaurant maybe you should try it out. I would definitely not drive out a long way to eat at here.

Yelp
Walked in on a Saturday brunch, for a party of 3 we were quoted 25 minutes and got seated at 40 mins. There was a previous table that got seated behind the hostess stand and moved to the patio due to how sunny the table was. The hostess was very nice and explained how the table was sunny and wanted to make sure we were ok. She seemed a little stressed and we were tired of waiting so we dealt with the sunniness. FOOD Smashed fried chicken and pancake - pancake tasted mushy, almost like undercooked. It was flat wasn't fluffy. Didn't taste ricotta at all. The chicken batter was weird, not what I had expected for fried chicken. Smashed Laab burger - another disappointment. The patty was bland and just tasted like ground pork. Lobster club - this was probably the best dish, just toasted bread, bacon with lobster SERVICE was what meh. The runners that brought out the food did not bring butter and syrup with the pancakes, and we had to ask for it but they brought back ketchup and syrup instead. AMBIANCE & DECOR. Yes, it's cute and modern. But they should consider getting some blinds and shades installed. I'm sure lots of people will complain about the sun. Everything sounded better than it tasted. Nothing stood out. Nothing was worth a second time visit for us. 2.5 stars

Yelp
The Peach, a newly opened breakfast and brunch spot, is a true gem. It's aesthetic appeal and inviting ambiance to make it the perfect destination for a satisfying meal. Arriving early on a Friday without a reservation was manageable, but I highly recommend securing a reservation if you plan to visit after 10 AM, especially on weekends. I pass by this establishment almost daily and consistently observe a line forming at the door. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and serene atmosphere. The space is much larger than it appears from the outside, offering a relaxing environment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. My waitress, Michelle, was incredibly kind and seemed to anticipate my needs before I even had to ask--whether it was water, extra napkins, or an additional spoon. Her service was impeccable. Now, onto the food. I began with a matcha latte, which was served at the perfect temperature--warm, but not too hot, and certainly not cold. The matcha was expertly prepared, with no residual powder at the bottom of the glass. For my meal, I ordered the lobster toast, fancy French toast, and the lucky peach plate. The lobster toast was exquisite. The lobster was fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked, paired with milk bread that provided a delightful combination of flavors and sweetness. The fancy French toast was enjoyable, though I was slightly disappointed that it did not come with syrup or any drizzle, despite its inherent sweetness. The peaches were delicious, featuring a crispy shell that gave way to a burst of flavor with each bite. This dish is ideal for those with a sweet tooth. The lucky peach plate was a safe and satisfying choice. I am eager to return and explore more of the menu. I highly recommend giving The Peach a try!

Yelp
Yummy! if you happen to be in the area & even if the wait takes a few, this place is worth it & you will not be disappointed. Came in on a Friday early afternoon, was a little busy, but I was seated right away, because I was a party of 1 The greeters in the front were friendly with a smile. Got seated & even my waiter was helpful with any questions I had about the menu, great customer service. It's self Parking on the street, you do have to pay, but I'm not sure what the hours are or how it works. It's also bigger than what it looks like from the outside. Will definitely be visiting this place more, to try the other goodies on the menu.

Yelp
It warms my heart to see this business packed everytime I walk by. After visiting for brunch today, I can see why! The service is super friendly and they all work together. Diego went out of his way to take several photos of us going above and beyond during a busy brunch service! Mins you he wasn't even our server. The decor is so beautiful, bright, and comfortable. The upstairs room is truly the absolute cutest. Despite being super busy, the espresso drinks and food came out so expediently. The curry shrimp congee was out of this world. I will be back many times over specifically to eat that! The lobster club on milk bread is such a genius idea and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try the fried chicken and pancakes. Oakland restaurants have been struggling, so this dining experience truly brought me joy to see the peach doing so well! Go support Chef Kao Saelee (Jo's Modern Thai)!

Yelp
I had to go check this new place out!!! I live 5 mins away and this use to be Lakeshore Cafe. Now, it's THE PEACH!!! I was so excited to go try it out... now the place is super cute, and I love how all the employees wear the same cutesy little shirt, I love the unison, and the girls were super cute and friendly!!!! * as us women know sometimes lady can be not friendly or nice to other pretty girls!! But they were!!! So I ordered the open omelette with all the veggies on it and added extra bacon, now babbbbyyyyy!!! The bacon texture and taste was ON POINT - not fried too hard or too soft and the part that is cooked well have a nice nice little bite to it... uhm, the omelette was little cold for me, and I had to add salt and peeper and siracha ( hopefully I spelled that correctly ).. they did not have hot sauce no crystal you guys.. lol and the open omelette came with some potatoes on the side... I wanted some sour cream so bad with them. But they didn't have sour cream ... but I wish now they had a little bacon , cheese, sour cream and chives on them!!!! They would have been FIRE... but they were so good!!! I HAD THE SWEETEST WAITRESS NAME KENNEDY, she was so pretty and her eyes were amazing. She was so attentive and professional !!! I would definitely come back just due to the aesthetics and the employees were so pleasant!!! But I rate the food 6.5/10. But check them out still and support they are new and will definitely grow and get better!!!!

Yelp
This cute restaurant was opened by the same owners of Jo's Modern Thai, I believe. The decor is so cute and they even have a semi-private dining area upstairs. The food was OH SO DELICIOUS! My girlfriends and I shared the biscuits (that honey butter was sooooooo good), Susu steak and eggs, the Sesame Cesar salad with crispy chicken, and a side of fries and fruit. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and the Sesame Cesar was refreshing but also filling, especially with their crispy chicken which was also just as delicious. We all ordered mimosas and love that you get an option of puree (I opted for guava). The drinks took a while to make it to the table, but that being said, they did just open recently (maybe a month or two ago!?) I absolutely recommend The Peach, not only for their food (which is definitely why I'll keep coming back), but for the cute ambiance as well. Give them a try!

Yelp
As a long-time fan of Joe's Modern Thai, I eagerly anticipated the opening of The Peach in Oakland. With a chef from Atlanta on board, I expected a unique blend of Southern and Thai flavors. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. *Ambiance and Aesthetics: 8/10* The Peach's atmosphere is inviting, with a stylish decor that sets the tone for a pleasant dining experience. *Location: 10/10* The restaurant's location is ideal, making it easily accessible for Oakland locals and visitors alike. *Staff: 10/10* The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. *Food: 5/10* Unfortunately, the cuisine didn't live up to my expectations. As a brunch enthusiast, I've experienced better options in the area. The dishes lacked the soulful, Thai-inspired flavors I was hoping for. We ordered: 1. Peach Plate-basic 2. "Shrimp and Grits"- the best dish 3. Fancy French Toast-ok 4. Biscuits- not a southern biscuit from ATL as I was hoping 5. Coffee 6. A cocktail (whose name I unfortunately forgot) While the presentation was appealing, the flavors and execution were underwhelming. The "Shrimp and Grits" dish, in particular, lacked the richness and depth I've come to expect from this classic Southern comfort food. The sauce was flavorful. I think if you know going in it's not grits and creamy, then you are fine. *Conclusion* While The Peach shows promise, the food wasn't that exceptional. I

Yelp
I visited The Peach on Friday, the last day of their soft opening and WOW. This place is absolutely gorgeous, my friend and I were admiring the aesthetics here, a very clean, modern, and contemporary vibe. As for the food we went with our server's recommendations: Biscuits with honey butter - Biscuits had nice, flakey layers but the house made honey butter was truly the star! I am ADDICTED. Fried chicken & pancakes - The perfect dish for sweet & savory. Pancakes were fluffy, dusted with powdered sugar and served with syrup & peach jam. Do yourself a favor and ask your server for a side of their honey butter! The jam is quite tart but when paired with the butter and syrup, it's very well balanced. The fried chicken was also really good, very crispy, flakey, and airy, a unique texture I've never had on fried chicken. Steak & eggs: We ordered this dish medium rare with scrambled eggs and I was honestly blown away by the steak. The cook was perfect and the flavor was sooo good. It's also served with a side salad and crispy potatoes. Overall, I had an amazing time dining here. I love The Peach's Asian twist on traditional American brunch. The service was excellent and so attentive. One of the servers was nice enough to give us a quick tour of the restaurant. Their patio area was spacious & covered and they also have a cute, private upstairs area that fits a party of 8. I can't wait to come back and try their other items as well as coffee & cocktails. I highly recommend giving a place a try!

Yelp
I love a great brunch spot , and I was excited to find The Peach! I was hanging with friends in the Bay Area, and we decided to venture over to Oakland for some tasty food, and some shopping I tried making reservations online, but was unable to do so. I called the restaurant and they would not take a reservation for the three of us. We were told the wait would not be long. We pulled up, and they were definitely busy. We added our name to the waitlist, and we were told that we would be seated shortly. Shortly was 35 minutes later. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated, and gives off a real fun brunch vibe. When we were finally seated, and perusing through the menu, there are plenty of choices, and I love the fact that the menu is not so extensive that it makes it difficult to make a decision about a meal. Diners note: if you plan on dining with your kids, keep in mind the kids portion of the menu seems pricey for the offerings. What we ordered: Lobster toast to share: definitely a tasty dish, and I love the fact that it's served on the milk bread. However, I wish they would toast the bread to avoid the sogginess. I ordered the susu steak and eggs. This is just now. I'm always hesitant to order flank steak when I'm at restaurants, because if it's not properly cut, seasoned and cooked, it's a tough piece of meat. This was no exception. It definitely had that shoe leather texture to it. The eggs, their eggs. The fingerling potatoes were just OK, I'm quite frankly I don't find that they really compliment the overall dish. Keep in mind, this is an Asian inspired restaurant, and we all thought that the food would have deeper, if not more authentic flavor profile. One friend ordered the lucky peach plate, and I will say visually it was disappointing, and my friend had me taste the chicken sausage. Color me on depressed, and frankly, I personally did not like it. My friend didn't care much for it either. The smashed fried chicken and pancakes, seemed to be the winner at the table. The ricotta pancakes were pretty tasty, and thank goodness for friends that share food! Things that went well...Once we were seated, we were able to order with a reasonable amount of time. Our drinks were refilled without us having to ask. What did not go well... When the food was brought to the table and I tried to take pictures, I was told by two different people working at the restaurant literally back to back, that I could not take photos. No explanation was given. We asked to have the check split so that we could all pay for our own meals, and they were unable to provide three separate checks. So we asked if we could pay one check with three different credit cards, and they weren't able to do that either. The server that took our order, never bothered to come back and check on us, or we would've been able to address the food issues. It's disappointing because everything about the experience just seemed off. I had asked for to go box when our check was dropped off at the table, and that never happened. When I looked around, I saw that other diners were having similar experiences. I'm really hoping that they're able to address some of these issues because it would be nice to see them succeed. It's actually a great location, and the area really needs quality restaurants.

Yelp
So glad I had a chance to try this place it's been on my list. The parking on the weekends here is crazy so I suggest weekday. I came on a saturday around one the wait was 15 minutes but ended up being less. I love the minimum but very appealing decor here. I will say the wait was extremely long but the food was delicious. I started with a guava mimosa. The french toast was steaming hot and so good I never had french toast like theirs . The topping on there is a lot but doesnt take from how good it is. Also had the lucky peach plate. The potatoes and bacon was good. This a great place to go in a small group to try mutiple dishes. I'd definitely be back to try more.

Vicki L.

Yelp
The best biscuits! Omg! Perfectly flakey and tasty. Great vibe. Friendly service from all.

Yelp
Man, I really wanted to love this place, it was good and with a couple tweaks could be great. TLDR: 5 for service and ambiance, 3 for food. First with the good, the ambiance is great, I love the changes they made to the old Lakeview Cafe, it's more modern and colorful which I love. Also we made a reservation which is nice to be able to do for Sunday Brunch! And our server Kennedy was lovely, and very accommodating and attentive. I went with my husband, Mom and baby and there was kids menus with coloring available (though he's a little young for that) and they easily accommodated our high chair needs so I would say family friendly! Now for the food... it was just ok. We shared the lobster toast which was very tasty and does come with a lot of lobster but it's one piece of toast for over $20 so not sure if it would be worth it for everyone, but it was probably my favorite thing we had! My Mom got the sesame Caesar salad with fried chicken on the side, she also asked for the dressing on the side but it's possible our server didn't hear her because it came dressed which my mom didn't realize until after she had started eating it, but it was a little over dressed for her taste. My husband got the smashed fried chicken and pancakes and while the pancakes were tasty the fried chicken was DRY, omg so dry I could hardly chew it, the breading was also falling off of the chicken but it did have good flavor and was crispy. I had the steak and eggs, and while I was asked how I wanted my eggs cooked I wasn't asked about the steak and it was served medium well, which is a little overcooked for my taste, so they probably should have asked how I wanted it cooked. My plate came with fingerling potatoes which I thought were a little undercooked in the middle, and a side salad which was overdressed and quite salty. All in all I know they're new and figuring stuff out, but I think they need to iron out some kinks in the kitchen with the cookery of things, once they do it will be a great place!

Yelp
New fav brunch spot! The space itself is so cute and you can tell a lot of intention went into the decor. It's spacious with a nice sized outdoor patio as well. Servers and hostess were really kind and welcoming. Now the FOOD?! Delicious. Yummy mimosas and the best avocado toast I've ever had. I ordered the shrimp and congee and WHEW! It was delicious!!! My partner got the lobster sandwich and loved that as well. I'll definitely be back.

Adora G.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance of this spot. It is so cute when you walk in! My friends and I sat in the back patio, which we loved as it was a nice day and it's shaded. The service was cool. We had a male server who had glasses, but he was cool and honest with what his favs were, which helped us as we're all first timers. His vibe was dope for sure! As for the food, it was a bit lack luster. We all felt like it was lacking something we couldn't out our fingers on. It wasn't great, but not terrible. The lucky plate is as basic as can be, so I wasn't disappointed. The pancake felt very mushy when I got in the middle, which I wasn't a fan. My friends who got the steak and eggs said it lacked seasoning and something else. They said it was an average plate. Although, we weren't told that it was extra to swap to fries until we saw it on the receipt. Another friend got the French toast (not pictured), and I think the milk bread threw him off. As his French toast was more soggy then crispy. It also came with no sides, which was crazy. One friend got the shrimp and grits. It was a bowl full of rice porridge and not enough sauce or shrimp. She was left with a full bowl of "grainy porridge" when she finished all the sauce. Overall, for the price point we were all pretty disappointed in the food. Hopefully as time goes on, they can elevate their spices and seasoning a bit to make their plates more strong!!

Yelp
Kudos to DEIGO !!!!!!! Soraya- so good on clearing out your items and making you feel comfortable, she was so sweet and helpful. I loved her freckles... He was freaking amazing, attentive and handsome! But seriously my hubby and I enjoyed chatting with him and his recommendations were on point! Thank you PEACH for this delicious brunch. The heaters on the patio made you feel like you were on the inside. Overall I'd love to visit here again!!!!

Yelp
Our second time dinning at the new breakfast eatery "The Peach" and this has def became our new weekend spot. Reservations are highly recommended especially if you are a late riser. Kao was our server and honestly he made our breakfast experience 5 stars. Thanks Kao! He let us tour upstairs & gave us some of the history of how the new restaurant came about. I haven't written a yelp review in over 6 years and felt compelled to rave about this new place. Ambiance - 5/5 cozy, cute, & trendy. The patio isn't open yet due to weather but warm weather is around the corner! Food - 4.5/5 the flavors are amazing and unique to the non Asian fusion palate--like my bf. His go to is always shrimp n grits, happy to see this place has a take on it. If you're a fan, TRY THE CURRY SHRIMP & CONGEE!! Their pancakes have a slight lemon flavor and tbh I crave these along with the chicken Chinese sausage all week. I guess my only draw back is the inconsistency, although very minor. First time dinning we got a 3 stack of pancakes for $5, this time we just got one. First time dinning I almost got no salad. This time the salad was abundant (a plus). A new place like this will figure out the kinks and we understand cooks & servers are learning a new menu. Lobster toast was fresh and delightful. Nice large chunks of poached lobster with aioli drizzled w/dill atop. As a shareable this was a nice touch!

Yelp
Been waiting for a while for this place to open. What a great location this is, smacked right in the center of Lakeshore ave. Right near to chipotle and Arizmendi's . We started with the house made buttermilk biscuits, mmMmm those were soooo delicious!!! The biscuits also feels like a croissant and a biscuit had a baby. The warm biscuit topped with that homemade honey butter that just melts..... highly recommended! I ordered the "shrimps and Grits" and boy it did not disappoint! I love shrimp and grits and porridge has always been my comfort food. You put those bad boy together and...plus a nice kick... PERFECTION. This genius idea tastes as good as it sounds... then you go and cook the shrimp soft, crisp, and tenderrrrr!?! Absolutely recommend. My friend ordered the Lucky Peach Plate. He got the scrambled eggs and Chinese sausages. Of course he added the pancakes AND French toast... cause why not!?! Next up was the smashed fried chicken sando, the chicken was fried perfectly, juicy moist chicken... ohhh that honey aioli thoooooo . Last but but not least was the Smashed Laab burger, I had a version of this before at Jo's Modern Thai. Once again they've knocked it out the park!! This did not disappoint. Upon our arrival, it was quite empty, within 30 mins or so the entire place filled up. Great experience, great staff, great food!! Will definitely come back!!

Yelp
Cute remodel! We sat in the back for a group of 6 but there's also an upstairs for larger parties (like 10 I think). (It's in the spot where the old lakeshore kitchen used to be) so parking is always kind of tight in that area. Our server was super friendly and attentive to a group of mamas having brunch catching up laughing and chatting it up after a workout up the street! We ordered almost everything off the menu and shared and no one complained about anything!!! I especially like the fried chicken sandwich- it was delicious! The chicken batter was crispy and not too thick. It was tasteful and the sauce was on point! I'm a pickles girl so I got extra but all the ingredients were just so perfectly balanced!! The steak in the steak and eggs was also seasoned, tender and cooked perfectly ! The girls loved the biscuits and pancakes as well! I had a strawberry (freshly juiced!!!) mimosa and it was a pleasant surprise for it to not be syrup! It's a definite visit again! We then walked the lake bc it was a beautiful day out! Loved the day out in Oakland!!

Yelp
What a great new addition to the area! Amazing brunch spot in a beautiful location. The food was super delicious, and the service was great despite how busy they were on during the weekend brunch rush! Will definitely be back.

Eva N.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed with this place. The prices are way too high for the quality of food they serve. The dishes were bland, overcooked, and just not worth the cost. $10 for 2 biscuits that were served cold? Got a $7 latte that wasn't even filled up the brim and the steak in the steak and eggs were charred and tasted burnt. Also if you're going to charge $5 for a small glass of orange juice you should fill it up all the way. I left feeling ripped off. Definitely won't be coming back.

Arnel F.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice the place is cute and dainty, it's not loud so you're able to have a conversation. The service was fine, seated quickly and food didn't take long. Pancakes were really good, they were sweet and I appreciate that they were not fluffy so it's not heavy on your stomach.

Kobe G.

Yelp
The peach brunch newly added restaurant where the grand lake cafe used to be serving brunch specials complimenting with bubbly mimosas, I had came with party of 8 and best believe the service was very good and came with usual check ups making sure we where more then ok . Giving a spring look into the restaurant the soft tones of the wall and space was amazing not to mention the music selection of r&b amazing.what I ordered as the steak and fries and the meat was cooked medium how I like it and the fries tasting good and easy to cut through using a fork. Great place to be on a Sunday or any givin day as there open.

Yelp
Food was great. Had the steak and eggs, highly recommend! I got a side of the ricotta pancake and that was delicious! (It doesn't need all the syrup, it's sweet by itself) my friends had the lucky peach plate and they really enjoyed their food too. Service was on point, super attentive and checked on us. Loved the atmosphere, played great r&b/hip hop music, it's really light and airy inside.. would definitely come here again!

Yelp
I discovered The Peach from a post made by a popular influencer on Instagram. They occupy the space that was once Lakeshore Cafe. I made a reservation for four people. Our nephew is moving to Los Angeles to play for the pro soccer team, so we wanted to celebrate and see him off. We arrived and waited 30 minutes before we were seated, even with a reservation. My nearly four year old daughter was getting restless. We were told that the "kitchen was overwhelmed ". Probably not a good idea to tell patrons that. The hostess didn't apologize once and came back once after 15 minutes to ask us, "May I help you?", after I had already checked in for my reservation. When she finally sat us the sun was blaring in our eyes. We asked to move to a nearby table, to which she told us the patio was open.... There were at least three empty tables inside. We then asked who appeared to be a manager if we could move to the nearby table inside and he shook his head yes. The fabulous (sarcasm) hostess then told us the table was for a 2:15 PM reservation and if we'd be gone by then.... It was 1:00 PM. Also, what did that matter?! Sit the 2:15 PM reservation at another table. The audacity to be rude after we waited 30 minutes to be seated with a reservation. The food was a solid 6/10 once it arrived. We ordered pancakes, smashed fried chicken, a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and an open faced omelette with fingerling potatoes. Everything was just okay. Nothing memorable or worth coming back for, especially with the poor customer service that was received. Definitely not comparable to Lakeshore Cafe which was pretty good. Disappointing

Yelp
TLDR VERSION: -Interior: cute, modern, ask your friend to take a pic of you at the table. -Parking: good luck Charlie. -Food: shrimp and grits congee, that's it. -Drinks: modern, not for everyone's taste buds. -Service: good. everyone's so pretty. -Returning again?: it wouldn't be my first choice, but I'll send it in the groupchat as an option. NITTY GRITTY: -Street parking is literally a mess anywhere you go, so it's free for all. If you need to bust an illegal U-turn for a spot, no one will judge you I promise. -The interior is super cute! Its definitely more modern; colors are popping bright but doesn't hurt your eyes, tables and set-ups are nice; I think "cute" just sums it up. -The food was good but pretty underwhelming. My family's collective order was: (1) Lobster Roll - I literally refuse to order lobster anywhere because I know it's gonna be underwhelming for the price, and sadly, the Lobster Roll proved my point. It was good, but for the size and price? No maam. Honestly though, we're used to gluttonous portions in Western culture, (2) Lucky Peach Plate - Mom said it was overall "okay." Pretty basic, safe breakfast. She said something in the salad made it salty. The real star of the show were the potatoes though, chef's kiss, (3) Open-Faced Omelette - Sister said it was good... thats it LOL sorry, not much feedback from her, (4) Susu Steak and Eggs - good! Dad was impressed with getting a perfect medium rare, and the chimichuri was nice, (5 + 6) Ricotta Pancake side and French Toast side - Pancake was so moist, and it wasn't TOO sweet, which was great. Loved her. French Toast was also nice. A bit on the drier side, but the sweet flavor was balanced. Liked her. -(7) Curry Shrimp and Congee - this deserves its own line because B A B Y. For me, it quite literally defined "Bay Area" in food-form. It is soul, it is culture, it is diverse, delicious, a hug, comfort, etc.. This for me was great asian representation but also brought me back to my friends mama serving me shrimp n grits after school. She was perfect. Would come back just for her. -If you're tryna get mimosa drunk, yeah no. It's a nice, chill drink. Asian-inspired flavors, but not everyone has the same, open palate. I loved the Espresso Matcha Tonic, but my sister didn't. Very modern drinks. -Service was overall good! Not much to say. HOWEVER, the staff is so pretty. Like they're serving food AND face. Our tattoo-ed waitress was so pretty, she looked like Kehlani. -OVERALL... she's cookin, but she isn't for everyone. I would come here to catch up with a friend or for a lil business brunch. We like her!

Yelp
Seated within a minute after arrival. Had a reservation. Drinks came 10mins after. The Peach Mimosa was very boozy. The coffee was strong. Nice silverware. Lobster toast came out in 6mins. The interior design is really nice and elegant. All the visible workers were working diligently and collectively. Chicken and pancakes came in 13 minutes. It smells delightful inside. The hot honey chicken was great! Loved the ricotta pancakes; they didn't require syrup at all. I could taste the ricotta in the pancakes. 8 minutes after I ordered the strawberry Bellini arrived; it was super boozy! Everything was aesthetically pleasing and fairly good. Definitely worth the try and return. Enjoyed the food the most. The service was slightly delayed midway through the dine due to being there during the opening shift. Dine time 1.25 hours. BoozyBrunch sent me!

Yelp
Wanted to try out this spot as I've heard it's the same owners as Jo's Modern Thai on Laurel. The ambiance looked very cute from the outside and drew me in. I made a same-day reservation on a Saturday at 9 am for 10 am, so that was great. We had to book outside but I put a note we preferred in and got to sit in after all. The tables are super small, can barely fit everything on our table for two with water glasses, a coffee, and two entrees + side. We got the homemade biscuits. Definitely just an average biscuit to me, needed more honey and asked and hot some. Butter was yummy. I got eggs over hard which were great, just way too salty. It came with apple sausage and smashed fingerling potatoes which needed ketchup which I asked and got. Husband got the pork belly toast thing and that was good. He really enjoyed it. Both meals came with a side salad. Dressing was light/good, also a bit salty. We also got a pancake and it came with a good amount of syrup. Was solid. Would I return? Ya, maybe, if I'm around. But would I seek it out/have to come back? Probably not. It's not what I call "omg good."

Yelp
Visiting from LA and was staying in the east bay. This was definitely on my radar for a couple weeks and made a reservation. Ambiance and vibes were on point, and so was the service. We got seated promptly, and the drinks came flowing. As for the food, we ordered: Ricotta pancakes, they looked a little basic, but the flavor was incredible!! Steak n eggs. I always get steak n eggs if they're available and they cooked mine up to a perfect medium rare! Potatoes on point as well too. Shrimp congee. This was recommended by us because no one really wanted to order it, but WOW it was one of the best dishes we ate here. Definitely a fusion of what shrimp n grits mixed with Asian porridge. Flavor explosion of savory and a little spice. French toast. Classic plate accompanied by a sweet n tart compote. Chicken sausage breakfast plate. Another classic plate. Lobster Club. There was a lot of lobster in this sandwich. A lot more than I expected. Mixed in well with their aioli and bacon. Kids chicken tenders n fries. They fried actual pieces of chicken and it's not a frozen tender!! Kids French toast sticks. Same without the compote, easier for our kids to eat. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!! Thanks for having us!

Yelp
I went with my parents after a morning walk. They are somewhat picky eaters but I was happy that they both enjoyed their meal. We didn't have a reservation. We walked in and as a usually reservation girlie we were accommodated. I can't remember if they were playing music or if it was loud I remember being able to talk with my parents. It was somewhat of a cold. I only felt a breeze if the front door was remained open because we were sitting in the front area the waiters and servers were nice And the food was delicious.

Pancakes and French toast melt in your mouth! Quality food and great service!! Beautiful ambiance.

Yelp
My partner and I came in shortly after the restaurant opened in the morning. We were greeted by the host and he immediately asked if we had any reservations, we said no and he walked us to a table near the front door. There were two other tables of guests that were there before us, other than that, the restaurant was completely empty. Before ordering, we could overhear one of the tables complain about the sunlight beaming through the window and hitting them directly on their faces. We also encountered that same problem from where we were sitting. We noticed that there were no blinds or curtains, so my partner got out of her seat to ask if we can sit in the back or possibly even the rear patio to avoid the glare from the sun. The host was quick to tell her no and it was due to a lack of servers... urghhh! A few minutes have passed and we put in our order. I ordered the shrimp congee (which is their version of shrimp and grits, it even shows it on the menu) and my partner ordered a combination plate consisting of scrambled eggs, potatoes and smoked bacon and a couple of coffees. If you don't know what congee is, it's basically porridge, not grits. But in their defense, they did mention that it was their version, or did they say their take on it? The plates came out between 10-15 minutes after we ordered. It looked better than it tasted. The shrimps could have been seasoned better which would have made the congee more tasty. My partner loved her dish. As we were eating, the restaurant started filling up with people. Not one time did we hear our host/server ask anyone else if they had a reservation, He also started to ask if they preferred to sit in the front or the back. Also, we didn't notice any additional servers. We thought that was pretty rude and inconsiderate of him, You just lost us and we'll never come back.

Yelp
Steak was great, love the potatoes. Clean environment. Johnny C was kind and attentive and patient with our decision making. Will be back soon.

Yelp
Has potential, but misses the mark. I'd love to see more Thai flavors infused into the menu. FOOD: We ordered... + Fancy French Toast: it was tasty and had a nice guava compote, which was surprisingly good. My wife typically finds guava to be bland. but this was a hit for her. + Kids Chocolate Chip Pancakes: The kids ate these and enjoyed them. = Open Faced Omelette: The dish was fine, but nothing really made it stand out. The eggs and veggies were cooked nicely, and I had to ask for hot sauce (they gave me sriracha) to help give it a kick. I would have liked the crema to have a Thai-inspired spice or kick. Potatoes were crispy and nice but also simply seasoned with salt and pepper. = Two coffees with oat milk: they seem to serve dark roast coffee, but it was fine. - Housemade Buttermilk Biscuit Shareable: The biscuits were brought over immediately after we ordered, so you could tell they heated up recently made biscuits. They weren't crispy or flaky but were just warm. The portion was two biscuits with a side of salted butter. It did not get finished by our group of 4, who will typically devour biscuits. The total came to $90 for this before tip. PROS: + Location is fantastic. It's the old Lakeshore Cafe and has been remodeled tastefully. Im grateful for a new restaurant to open here but am upset that it's been mired by the owner's drama going into it (see cons). + Simple menu. You're not overwhelmed with options and can pick from a decent variety of items that meet different dietary needs from carnivore to vegetarian to vegan. + Kids menu items. Lakeshore is a family neighborhood and thankfully this place caters well enough to kids. + Staff seems nice. CONS - Menu says it has thai inspiration, but I really only saw two dishes that truly stepped into showcase that (the Congee and maybe the Laab Burger). - The owner incited drama at Jo's Modern Thai and this spot (right before it opened) with the former head chef and staff, which caused a mass exodus and likely made the food subpar.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to try this place today , when we arrived at 1 pm there was a 30 minute wait but we did not mind as there was a farmers market so we could walk around while we wait . We finally got called back and went to back to get seated . The host and server were very nice and very hospitable. I was super excited to try the curry shrimp & congee but I was a little disappointed . I felt like the shrimp were not as crispy as they should have been they tasted a little bland and it was also missing a little more salt and pepper for my liking . We also had the smashed chicken with ricotta pancakes . The chicken was very crunchy and juicy and the ricotta pancakes were very nice and fluffy . They were definitely busy today so I believe they have things ready to go to stay up with demand because we received our plate within 10 minutes of ordering it . I rather would come during a non busy day to retry it and see if there is a change in the taste of the shrimp congee . Our neighbors ordered the French toast and they looked really delicious so I would definitely try those next time . As far as the ambiance it is a medium /loud mix.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We ordered the delicious cinnamon roll to share and it was brought out very quickly like the rest of our food. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful with menu decisions. I want to return to try other items!!! I honestly can't remember the names of the dishes but the pork belly avocado toast was so delicious and had a wonderful smoky flavor. The shrimp dish was also good. Had a good kick to it for sure, so be ready for a little spice! We had the good luck of being able to try the matcha beignet as well and it was also very delicious and not too sweet!!

Yelp
5 star food and service. I've visited The Peach 3 times since they have opened and I love everything about it. The food is delicious , the service is exceptional and the ambiance is unmatched. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits, they are to die for. I've also tried the pancakes and the chicken sausage and that combination would be another one of my favorites.

Yelp
My experience was amazing! The ambience was so nice, and all of the staff were great. My server was Kennedie and she was the best; very personable and outgoing, really made sure my family felt welcomed. I had the shrimp and grits and never had such an authentic dish before. I wish this restaurant was out here in Phoenix, I would be there every weekend, lol.

Yelp
From entrance to exit, a top notch experience. Great atmosphere, service and food! The portions are plentiful and deliciously tasty! Highly recommend trying the pancakes and tempura fried chicken. You won't want to miss out! Great place to enjoy with friends or solo.

Yelp
First of all, I want to say staff & service was great, with just a few small incidents: When my food came out, the server put a plate fresh out of the kitchen on top of my hand that was resting on the table, but it was no big deal because the playe and food were room temp (the Lucky Plate - most of that dish should be hot!) Then, my waitress brought out my coffee differently than I'd ordered it, and acknowledged that it was wrong - if she knew it was wrong, I wish she'd had it corrected before bringing it out. Lastly my half-finished meal was bussed while I was in the restroom despite having told the staff I'd be right back. They had to bring me a fresh one. However, everyone was very kind so my rating isn't a reflection of that at all - it's for the food. The food was really mid. No seasoning on the Lucky Plate but it did come with runny eggs and an undressed pile of greens, and slightly cold potatoes, and is also served on a plate too large for the portion sizes; it looks sparse. The Fancy French Toast was good but tasted slightly of scallions (probably a contamination issue, I don't think it was intentional.) For the price, I would expect to be a little more wowed by plating & flavor. It's comparable to Grand Lake Kitchen in cost, but I do think GLK has better food. All in all a cute place with nice ambiance, but pretty mediocre food. Nothing I'd recommend or remember fondly.

Yelp
I put a reservation for Saturday 1/12 at 10:30 am. Super excited considering all the positive Yelp reviews I read this far + the aesthetic of the place. Unfortunately, it did not live to expectations. We had to wait 10-15 minutes to get seated despite the reservation. There was also nobody else waiting to get seated besides us. What's the point of reserving a table if I have to wait? It's also super loud inside, not that they can do anything about that but I much prefer quieter brunch places. -1 point for the waiting. For the drinks, my partner ordered an Americano and I ordered an iced matcha latte. Sadly, they gave me a regular iced latte probably because they couldn't hear me saying matcha because the place is too dang loud! But it's an honest mistake, so no points being deducted here. The latte was fine. Now for the food. I got the fancy French toast with the guava and peach compote. Which I have to say, the compote was absolutely delicious and super unique, never tasted anything quite like it. Unfortunately, the toasts were burnt and I could taste the burnt :/ I ended up eating 1/3 of them until I said "no more!". Disappointed. But I also ordered a side of fingerling potatoes which were delicious so that saved it for me. -2 points for burning the toast lol. My partner ordered the lucky peach plate I think it's called. He enjoyed it, nothing memorable though. But the star of the show really was the pancakes. Super airy and fluffy. IF YOU COME HERE, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER THE PANCAKES. +1 point for really good pancakes. Music is super nice too if you even care about that. That's it, thank you for reading my Yelp review.

Yelp
The food was so good! But the best was our sever Diego he was so attentive, so kind. Diego is the vibe for The Peach. Come for the food stay for Diego

Yelp
We had a delicious breakfast of shrimp curry congee and avocado toast with egg. The congee was soothing and had plenty of shrimp. The avocado toast had a generous portion of sliced avocado with tasty garnish. Our server, Kennedy, was friendly, informed, and had a big welcoming smile. We'll be back!

Victoria R.

Yelp
The food is ok. Much better options elsewhere. The menu really needs some work, but there is potential? Now the service was horrible. The bussers didn't bus just stood at our table talking our ears off and the server was not informed. We asked very simple questions and they gave us wrong answers or had to ask someone. Not a great start.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
First off! If you don't have a reservation they treat you like you are not important and your service is not valued.. the food was mediocre. The was hair in my plate. They just change the plate but brought the same food. Food was not hot due to us not having a reservation.. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Yelp
Admittedly, the Lakeshore Cafe is a seriously hard act to follow. I was alone and the hostess took me back to the narrow part of the seating, which was extremely loud both from the close quarters and the kitchen noise, directly across a counter from the seats, so I went to a seat out front. Still a bit noisy - they could use some sound baffles on the wall - but the waiter was quickly there and always came back to fill the small water glass. I had the smashed pork burger; sadly it was quit dry, even with lettuce and avocado. Flat ground pork is always going to be dry. I wouldn't recommend it. I wish the new owner had just taken over the Lakeshore as it was,

Avery W.

Yelp
A must go to! Great staff, and better food. Stepped off of lakeshore into serenity. The LLC was delectable. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.
