One of my simple pleasures in life is being pleasantly surprised by airport food. Nothing like having your expectations exceeded when they are low. You gotta live life being grateful for small wins, otherwise it can get dark out here. I was flying back to NY after a 4 day company retreat in Austin, and wanted to get one last brisket based meal before leaving the great state of Texas. I went with the BBQ Brisket bowl ($15.39) with extra brisket because I'm BEAST. The lady at the counter was not in the best mood, but I feel her. Not gonna knock her for that. I don't expect white glove service at the Peached Tortilla in the Austin airport. You could see them cooking the meat on the grill right in front of you, which gave life to my eternal optimism. I was expecting some microwaved brisket tbh. This bowl was a pretty solid portion size and the brisket wasn't half bad. At least for my tastebuds. This is the poster child for 3.5 stars, but I'mma round up to 4. These Yelp/Google ratings should really be out of 10, but that's a conversation for another day. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Didn't mind paying the inflated airport prices to dine here. Had the Korean and bahn mi tacos which were very flavorful. No skimping on the meat. Also had the burger which was nice and juicy with all the fixings. Fries were hot and seasoned with salt and Parmesan cheese. Not the biggest portions but did keep us satisfied through a 4 hour flight. Definitely recommend.

One of my favorite Austin airport food stands! And Austin is known for great local food. The staff are super nice and engaged. Always a sign of a well managed team. The food is superb!! Today I went for the Korean steak and egg breakfast taco in corn tortillas. The taste was sublime and while the cost was high (it is an airport with monopoly pricing anyway) the portion was huge and I thought it was a value. Super quick, super nice, super tasty. What else is there.

After no notice on the menu, they have the gall to add a credit card surcharge on top of a $20 burger and fries. Oh and you cannot order a la carte. They force you to buy the meal. Shady practices. Mid level food. Separate aside, avoid if you’re worried about gluten cross contamination. I watched the meat tongs regularly touch the tortillas they were being put on so the meat is definitely contaminated.

I don’t really know what people are whining about but the peached tortilla makes great brisket and korean bowls. It’s fantastic for airport food standards and great for outside airports standard. The food came out fast, fresh, and delicious. I usually don’t write reviews but I believe this business deserves a boast. Keep the good work. They are in front of gate 16 as google maps was directing us for a bug loop

For airport food, the food is tasty. I ordered 2 tacos: one Korean steak and the other bbq brisket. The Korean steak came with a lot of fresh avocado on it. They were both delicious for airport food and total costs $11. Will definitely return.

Airport ONLY: Just got 2 sodas and a Pulled Pork sandwich. Paid over $24. I was waiting at self check out when a man behind the counter just grabbed my 3 items and started scanning. He then pointed to tip one of 3 options the lowest being 15%! He kept constantly scanning and inserting my cc when the chip did not work - needless to say the card did not load. I then got my stuff and did self check out. I do not recommend unless you are really hungry!

Avocado toast was burnt all the way thru. More mayo than avocado. Super greasy. And the radishes were dried out and discolored. I'm probably going to regret the two bites I run in regards to food poisoning. I used to love this place but quality is horrid. Had to wait for a manager to come downstairs before getting a refund. Now I find there is no way to refund the tip after crappy service. We've next door and got a perfect one at Mad Greens. Read my other reviews it's rare I'm this negative.
