The Plimoth

Went here for girls night and date night. Great service and atmosphere and food was amazing. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the corner. We ordered the entire app menu and split between 6 people! We loved every second of it to include drinks and will be returning!

Hands down the best introduction to this areas dining. The flavors were perfect. Fresh ingredients, impeccable service from all staff...I will be back time and time again.

Ah, the atmosphere and the service! Phenomenal! Everyone that we interacted with was friendly, smiling, easy going, very enjoyable! The recommendations for the drinks was right on the money! I enjoyed the champagne as we sat down! The place tends to fill up quickly so reservations are highly recommended! Street parking along - just watch out for the signs. The menu changes often so I am sure next time I would find something else I love! We tried a few appetizers and I loved the tagliatelle pasta. The bread with butter and apple butter was delicious! The entree was good - we got the fish specialty dish (catfish?) But what I was blown away by was the dessert! There is a creme, a chocolate creme with white topping and some crunchies on top that is just beyond amazing! I can fly into Denver just to go have that dessert again! Definitely on my list to visit often! From the people who work there, the ambiance to the food - I am super happy and delighted!

Food/drinks: amazing!!! Waitresses: amazing!!! (the women get 5 stars) Rude waiter: Not so amazing. I had such a great dinner celebrating my recent engagement and masters completion with my fiancee and his mother. We spent about 2 hours there, spent over 400 dollars, just to be told to leave because there was another reservation waiting. This waiter did not come to our table once so I had no idea who he was. He did not ask how the dinner was, did not ask how the service was, nor even tell us in a nice way that another party was waiting. We were actually just about to get up to leave but I was shocked by how inconsiderate he was to customers that just spent a lot of money to dine there. No one told us there was a time limit (some restaurants do which I understand why!)... but I think a "fancy", expensive restaurant usually takes 2 hours anyways! The drinks and food do not come out fast because they are finely curated. Really stinks when the food/drinks left a great taste, but the waiter with zero table manors left a bad taste in my mouth for the Plimoth. Although the food and drinks were incredible, I cannot fathom spending that much money again on a place that has workers like that.

The food is super fresh, cooked with great technique and functions on a monthly rotation. The starters or smaller dishes change often while the mains change about every month. The service might be the best part with great people all around. You can tell it is a great working environment with happy staff. We had attentive waitstaff(Tina & Megan) are awesome and very energetic. Mathew the bartender and Danny are great personalities. Daniel and “Sweet Lou” work the cold kitchen and are very nice. Overall the atmosphere is comfortable and modern. Favorite dishes were the cornbread, salmon tartare and the deserts. Cornbread is nice and flakey, salmon is super fresh just flown in and the deserts are executed well.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, atmosphere was lively. Loved the Brussel sprouts, the duck, the scallops, cauliflower turnip gratinee! Try the Gruner Veltliner wine, and you must try one of their mock-tails!

In a word, fantastic! I can't even begin to describe the food, other than it was fantastic! It's not even worth getting in the details, because it's going to change! Yeah, it's one of those joints, and I can't wait to go back and see what else they come up with. As a person who enjoys cooking, but has no formal training, dishes like these make me feel stupid, because I have no idea how they're created lol! The food, the service, the drinks, everything was incredible. It's a small, quaint little place so, a reservation is highly recommended, if not required.
