This charming café instantly transports you to France the moment you walk in—the décor, the ambiance, even the soft French being spoken behind the counter. I knew immediately I was in for real crepes.
I started with a cappuccino (and ordered a second one while writing this review because it was that exceptional). Smooth, rich, and balanced—exactly what a cappuccino should be.
For my first crepe, I chose the veggie option. It arrived topped with a hearty, mushroom-forward sauce that was unbelievably flavorful—deep, savory, and beautifully seasoned. I actually scraped the plate clean because the sauce was too good to leave behind. The crepe itself was perfectly sized and perfectly executed. Most places serve savory crepes that lean dry, but this one was perfectly complemented by that luscious sauce, making it truly unforgettable.
My husband built his own sweet crepe—strawberry, banana, Nutella, whipped cream—and while he chose a simple combination, he said it was fantastic and impressively large. He finished every bite.
I followed my savory crepe with a lemon curd crepe topped with whipped cream, plus coconut and almonds. It was bright, silky, and absolutely delicious.
We’re already planning to return for the French onion soup and quiche.
The owners/chefs, Charles and Sylvie, came out to chat with us and shared the stories behind their dishes. Many come from family recipes, giving everything a unique, authentic regional touch. If you enjoy discovering food with genuine French flavors and thoughtful craftsmanship, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
Our server, Paula, is an absolute delight—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell this place has a loyal following; nearly everyone who walked in was greeted like a regular, with familiar exchanges and easy conversation.
They have hostess gift baskets with homemade jams and cookies which is perfect if you are invited to dinner or get together.
