Red Door – Nashville
I had one of the most uncomfortable door experiences I’ve had in Nashville, and I found it both disgusting and shameful.
Our group arrived at Red Door dressed well and prepared to enjoy the evening after attending an industry holiday party. At the entrance, the way our group was handled felt inconsistent and unfair. One person was allowed in without being asked for ID, while another member of our group was stopped and told to remain outside because of a fake fur jacket.
There was no clear explanation, no consistent application of rules, and no attempt to handle the situation respectfully. Watching different standards applied to people in the same group was confusing and upsetting. The way this was handled felt arbitrary and, from my perspective, discriminatory in nature.
Being excluded while others were allowed to enter freely was humiliating and unnecessary, and it completely ruined what was meant to be a celebratory night. The overall experience at the door was, in my opinion, disgusting and shameful.
This reflects very poorly on how Red Door manages its entrance and the individuals representing the venue. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment!
