The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street

My stay at the Ritz Carlton has been the most pleasant, especially made so by the care and dedication of Itziar, who helped me making the most of my whole trip in Beijing by by giving me the right indications and following every need and request within the hotel. Thanks Itziar for going the extra mile with your clients.

Do NOT stay with this hotel! After a long journey, I was sick and tired. They kept knocking on the door and calling on the phone disturbing my sleep. It made my health worse staying at this hotel. Rubbish service! AVOID RITZ CARLTON!

Great location! Great service! Although the hotel is very old! They haven’t been remodeled for years I believe but again the service was great! Recommend for short visits in Beijing!

The worst Ritz that I have ever stayed at. The rooms are like 20 years old and not very well maintained. The staff was rather aloof. At 6 am there was no one at the front desk and no ones answers the phone call. The view was fine. The breakfast was horrible, with very limited selections. Most hot plates were cold. The Chinese food selections were neither authentic nor delicious. If you would like to experience something local, this is not what I recommend.

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Financial Street in Beijing and had an overall good experience. The hotel is generally clean, and the staff across all areas—from Entry, Concierge, Reception to the Club—are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The service quality varies, ranging from okay to very good, and at times, even superb.||However, the hotel is in need of renovations and upgrades. Some areas feel dated, and updating the facilities would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.||One notable challenge was the language barrier. The majority of the staff have limited English proficiency, which made communication difficult and occasionally impossible. I often found ourself relying on a translator app to convey basic requests and questions.||A standout during our stay was Itziar, the Guest Relations Manager. Without her assistance, we would have left the Ritz Carlton hotels altogether. She went above and beyond to correct a booking mistake related to an upgrade and consistently supported us throughout our stay, making it truly memorable. We can’t wait to return—if Itziar is still part of the team.||Advice for Management: To enhance the quality of service for international guests, consider empowering Itziar with more managerial responsibilities and investing in English language training for the entire staff.

Exceptional Stay at The Ritz-Carlton BeijingOur stay at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing was truly unforgettable. A special thanks to housekeeper 徐晶晶 (Ms. Xu Jingjing) for her warm and professional service. When we mentioned wanting to eat oranges, she surprised us with an entire plate of fresh oranges, along with gifting us a plush Ritz-Carlton lion—such thoughtful gestures that made us feel so cared for.The hotel’s elegance and attention to detail, paired with such exceptional staff, made our experience amazing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by doormen. The check-in staff were also very friendly and especially Miranda helped us to check in smoothly and provided us the information we asked. She also upgraded our room. The room was nice and clean and spacious. It also has a wonderful view. Don't have any complaints. The only thing that might be inconvenient for some people is that the hotel is about 20 mins walking from the subway route 2 and over 10 mins walk from subway route 19. Everything else is great.

Fantastic stay in Beijing with an excellent room. Staff arranged me a suite and it’s really a generous offer especially in this high demand season. The room is clean, nice, decent and next to the shopping centre. Very convenient. Special thanks to Vida TANG & Itziar for their great anniversary celebration arrangement. It’s really a remarkable and memorable. The management and staff are excellent, experienced and professional. Highly recommend.
