Crawford's Pass - Review - Burbank - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Located in that western part of Burbank that most people assume is Noho or Toluca Lake, Crawford’s Pass is the second location of the iconic dive bar in Historic Filipinotown. The space is much bigger than the original, and they have a full liquor license here, but don’t expect some contrived $18 craft cocktail experience. This is where you come for cheap beer, billiards, and some of our favorite hot chicken in town. It’s open till midnight on weekdays and 2am on weekends." - Brant Cox

Absolutely loved my visit to Roguelike Tavern in Burbank! The atmosphere is cozy with a fun, geeky vibe that totally sets it apart. The bartender was super cool, friendly, knowledgeable, and made some killer drinks. Great selection of craft beers and themed cocktails. Perfect spot to hang with friends or meet fellow gamers. Can’t wait to go back for another round. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a laid-back, unique experience! Five stars all the way!

Google
Actually the first real 5/5 experience I've had in while! The best service I've ever had, server was extremely fast, friendly and professional! I had the pork banmi and it was 10/10, shoulda been served with gloves tho Bathroom was extremely clean and smelled nice Great friendly nerdy atmosphere Go here, seriously

Shannon

Google
The drinks are well made and the whiskey BBQ wings are probably some of the best wings I've ever had, the sauce was incredible, wings were a great size with a perfect crunch on the outside and juicey meat on the inside, absolutely perfect! I got the poutine as well on waffle fries, equally amazing! Food was honestly so good I'd come back just for lunch and dinner lol service was also super great! Love this place. Its super cute inside too!! Nice and dark, cool tables and beautiful bar

Google
Great spot for local events! Had an incredible time at Hamiltunes!! Atmosphere is: it's neighborhood bar. Yummy 'tots, awesome events, & friendly staff. I felt comfy here! Prices a little higher than most, but I also haven't been out for a while and with everyone drinking less and the price of the neighborhood it makes sense. I would check out an event here 100%, similar venues for comparison: Bar Lubistch & 3 Clubs... Rogue Tavern is superior for fun & so much more parking!! 😁

Google
Very Bar like. Unexpectedly, food is not bad. Sliders were pretty tasty. This place has Karaoke night on Fridays. Not sure about other days but if you feel the next I think I can sing, try this place first

Google
I'm not a big bar guy, but this place is worth it. It's a great bar with a comfortable atmosphere, great original cocktails, and of fun events for nerds like me, and the legitimately best food I've ever seen at a bar. I've been coming a lot more since they started opening for lunch hours just for that. One of the best hang-outs in Burbank.

Google
Went there to place a takeout order in the late afternoon. Chatted with the bartender who seemed very cool. She was friendly and professional. We ordered the trio of sliders, wings, and poutine. It was all amazing. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Burbank!!

Google
Now how cool is this place. We were staying across the street at a hotel visiting family for the weekend. Looked up on Google for places to have a drink and have a bite to eat. This place came up and it was literally right across the street. We happen to walk into a screening of a movie that one of their bartenders was in which was awesome. After that they had comedians and that was an awesome experience. Had some food a couple beers and it was quite enjoyable I love their themes and how they change things up definitely a cool place and the drinks were good so was the food loved it and next time I'm in town I'll be sure to visit again.

Gregory K.

Yelp
Fun little place, we almost didn't come here because of all the bad reviews we saw, but it was a good little place to grab a bite. Little pricey for what you get, but the parking is good and the food is decent. Could be a little cleaner and a little quicker, seems like they may be working out a few things with the service. But overall, glad we stopped in.

Yelp
Cool spot. Wandered in one time and there was a produced live dungeons & dragons thing happening, which seemed unique and interesting. Nice decor, seemed clean, drinks were good! Plenty of local parking.

Yelp
1st time here.. Ambiance was great... Music is good. Service is good. Food is tasty! Had a couple vodka collins they were tasty. 4 stars only because i wish they had more food options.
google avatar

Odilia T.

Yelp
A Very clean old school bar with Live music. The scan our app & order your drinks was simple to figure out. If you chose not to use the app you can walk up & order. If your looking for a laid back place to have a drink this is it!
google avatar

Sofia P.

Yelp
My friend and I were intrigued to go in from hearing the live music outside after a random grocery run and we were actually impressed by the sliders and poutine. There was also a trivia event going on that seemed fun.
google avatar

Donovan M.

Yelp
If you enjoy the distinct aroma of stale beer mingling with questionable cleaning products, and the dulcet tones of a karaoke singer who sounds like a strangled cat, then this is the place for you! I, however, do not. The 'food' arrived lukewarm, resembling something dredged from the bottom of a swamp. The service was equally enthusiastic, or rather, the lack thereof. Our server seemed more interested in their phone than, you know, serving. The sticky tables and questionable stains on the floor only added to the ambiance of utter despair. Avoid at all costs, unless your idea of a good time is a slow, agonizing descent into culinary and auditory madness
google avatar

Yelp
Cozy old-school interior with plush booths and impeccable bar lighting, and the bartender Ann made me the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. It was perfectly fragrant and sweet, I couldn't stop sniffing it while chatting with her. We also ordered a PB Nutella Sando for $5, it was a perfect accompaniment for any night out.

Yelp
My friend and I were in the area and wanted to get a drink and this place came up but never in my life I thought I was going to have the worst experience in my life. The bartender came up to me asked for my ID which I gave it to her my friend had to use the restroom and she said to me "when your friend comes out he has to show me a valid California ID".I was shocked I didn't know what to think or say. So to me that was pretty rude and racist. I know we were the only Hispanics but she doesn't have the right to say that. So we would never go there again. And to the bartender I hope you have a better day .

Yelp
Fun bar in burbank with great servers and music blasting on the soundsystem. I'll be back...

Yelp
My favorite dive bar in Burbank to be a regular at! The food is fantastic! Seriously the wings are so good, the tots never miss, and don't even get me started on the Pork and Pickle sliders!! They have a lovely cocktail selection of custom "nerd" themed cocktails. The entire staff are lovely people, and the owner John is fantastic. He is always focused on the entire place, making sure things are running smoothly. They have a plethora of events too, weekly! I go for trivia AND karaoke. Nothing beats a classic dive bar with red vinyl booths and a disco ball! Especially when it's a small business! Would definitely recommend giving it a shot :)
google avatar

Jane A.

Yelp
Really cute tavern with a nice selection of drinks. You can scan a QR code and order from your phone, which is very convenient. We came for trivia night and were sorely disappointed, though - we were told this would be nerd-themed trivia but it was mainly a lot of obscure questions about celebrities with small pictures on a TV screen. I don't think we'd be back, as the place didn't carry the authentically "geeky" vibe we were looking for. Additionally, they charged us an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill, which seemed odd. Of course we would have tipped regardless, but having 20% gratuity added without your consent is never a comfy experience.

Yelp
We visited in November and had a great time! Dive bar feel, but super comfortable and clean. Bartender Carlos made outstanding cocktails and even though he was busy, he found time to chat. Owner John was hanging there that night and was great to chat with, as well. Great vibe and I highly recommend!

Bryan W.

Yelp
It's a great place super cool management. Amazing trivia nights. Good drink specials really highly recommend and I hear they have a great karaoke.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
Great drinks, great food, great people and what's more: a calendar full of events that are all a ton of fun: karaoke, comedy, live music, improv, immersives! This has been my go-to karaoke spot for the last couple of years since finding it on accident. The spicy margaritas, brussel sprouts, and sliders are my absolute favorites. There are enough events here that I have to find reasons NOT to spend every night at this bar. Even better, everyone - and I mean EVERYONE, at this bar is genuine, good people. That's why I keep coming back. They're kind and they really care about building a community space. One karaoke night there was a gentleman making me very uncomfortable - wouldn't leave me alone, wouldn't stop trying to talk to me - I finally got away and spoke to the owner and staff. They'd already had a couple of complaints so they asked him to go. It can be tough to feel safe enough in a place to do that - but The Roguelike crew trust their customers and want to make sure the bar is a safe place for people to be. I really value that.

Yelp
I had a fun time here. Went to meet some friends, had like, no expectations, and ended up walking in on Trivia night. My friends and I came in 4th, turned out to be a really fun night! The vibe of the place is kinda like 1970s low key lounge bar. Which is alright by me. Pretty spacious. The food was... not the best. You order off an online menu using apple pay to pay, and the servers bring you your food. I'd say mid-range bar food at best. The brownie we ordered was... not particularily edible. Fried stuff was okay. Most of their nerdy special drinks I wanted to try were out of stock. Yeah. So don't come here for a nice meal!

Yelp
You people don't understand the damage you're doing to businesses with these reviews. Statistically EACH one star review costs the average bar/restaurant in Los Angeles between $400 and $1100 a month in potential new business. On the other hand, 5 star reviews don't offset it at all. You may have had a less than satisfactory experience, but at least be honest with your stars, your "cold food that one time" is no reason to cost a business 10k a year. Our experience was fine, service a little slow (hence the lack of ONE star), but everything else was completely satisfactory. This site only works if we're being fair.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
Expensive drinks, place smells like mildew, and the service was so slow and unfriendly. We were basically the only ones in the place and no one cared.
google avatar

Marsha G.

Yelp
This place is great!!! Had such a blast, the host has an amazing voice, and the service was spectacular. If you're looking for a cool spot with decent bar food then this is the place to go. The service here is amazing. I can't tell you how great they made our night. Everyone working the bar was super nice and accommodating. We ordered some planko buffalo chicken sliders and I wasn't expecting much, but it was really good. It's is a small place but didn't feel too over crowded. Thanks again for the amazing service :)

Helena B.

Yelp
A complete rip-off!!! The food was overpriced and terrible, the drinks take forever, it smells like mold and mildew, the bathrooms are atrocious, and the service was slow, rude, incompetent, and also expensive (since they add 20% automatically) A complete scam of an establishment, an embarrassment to dive bars and taverns.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
I really hoped I would like this place. Unfortunately it missed a lot of key points for me. The drinks were horrendous. The Black Sabbath didn't taste like a coffee drink, too much gin was in it. I gave it back to the bartender and got the Royal Thunder and that one had a dry aftertaste with too much sugar. And I found two bristles in the glass that got stuck on my tongue. The bar played anime and another cartoon show on the TV's and nothing else, the bathrooms were extremely outdated and falling apart. I wanted to think this place had style, and the drinks would be good, but it totally failed. Most of the wines are in a can, and no bubbly wines on the menu either. The drinks I did get, it was like the bartender wanted to hook you up to get drunk, but the taste was terrible. There's no chance I would come back.

Yelp
My husband and I have been meaning to try this place for a while and finally did tonight. The staff was friendly and personable. We ordered a mocktail version of the blackwater park, which was SO GOOD. My husband got the rogue sazerac and enjoyed it. For food, we ordered: -waffle fries with beer cheese - good flavor, but the beer cheese wasn't quite warm enough and was ever so slightly gritty. Even though this is what I was most excited about, I wouldn't get it again -pulled pork poutine tater tots - great flavors! the gravy was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Everything went together nicely. -stark style cheeseburger sliders - my husband enjoyed them and said they were cooked well and had great flavor -the triforce - all 3 sliders were good. The chicken katsu was my least favorite, but I think that's just because I do not prefer dark meat chicken. But the sauce and then crunch of the breading were great. The bbq pork slider was favorite and tasty. The star, for me, was the basic cheeseburger slider, though. Great grilled/charred flavor on the patty, and a good ratio of toppings to meat to bread. We will definitely be back for trivia or maybe karaoke night sometime.

Yelp
If I lived in Burbank, this would be my spot! Luckily since Burbank is my prime real estate when I visit SoCal, I'm happy to add Roguelike to my regular rotation. This place rocks! I LOVE love love when a neighborhood bar or restaurant still put in the effort to make themselves special, to rise above the ordinary. This joint has a gamer theme without being heavy handed - you feel it in the patrons, the drink names, and event themes (the Thursday night my friend and I popped in was a D&D gathering!), but it is not at all alienating to anyone who just wants to pop in for a drink or bite without needing to be immersed in a vibe. We sat at the bar proper and all bartenders we interacted with were super friendly! I started with a classic Manhattan, very nice, and moved on to a house cocktail, the Rainbow in the Dark. With that name I was expecting something colorful but when I saw it poured out clear as water, I knew she was dangerous. And utterly delicious! Highly recommended but not for the faint of heart! We also ordered up some eats - the staff was very enthusiastic with their recommendation of the egg rolls (very non traditional, but savory and well made), but respectfully they were blown out of the water by the pulled pork poutine tots! We had the option to have with regular fries or waffle fries as well, but tots was a solid choice. Absolutely droolworthy! Those rich savory tots alongside a beer would make an epic dinner on a cool winter night. Normally bar food is just kinda there to keep you level, but I would make the trip to this place JUST for those tots! I'm so happy to have found Roguelike, I will be a regular on all future visits to Burbank. Warm, welcoming, and way cool!

Ernesto A.

Yelp
This is a very awesome bar in my opinion, been there a few times and the staff is always nice. The cocktails are solid and the beer list is good. Haven't had any food yet But very chill vibe

Francis P.

Yelp
This place was awful! Disgusting food, sticky floors and tables, but the service was depressing. No one cared, took forever, and we have to order our own drinks through a QR code THEN they add 20 percent gratuity for doing their job for them. Such an embarrassment, never coming back!
google avatar

Audrey L.

Yelp
We attended a comedy show here and had the best time! I didn't get many pictures due to laughing too hard at the comedians. It's a small space with a great vibe. Even with a small crowd the energy never dipped.
google avatar

Meena N.

Yelp
Love love this bar!! The interior is really nice....The old school red seats are gorgeous. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were all very nice. Just had one drink....I had the blackwater park which I would definitely order again. We already had dinner so we Got some waffle fries. You know the ones who don't need at 11pm at night but taste oh so good. Also the ice cream sandwich finished it nicely. They just opened in December 2020. Difficult time to open...during covid.....So let's support our local bars.

Alyson B.

Yelp
I'm visiting Burbank and I was very excited to find a trivia night in town. First, let me just say the bartenders were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful, charismatic, and made delicious drinks. That's really the best part. Like I said, I went specifically for trivia night, it was advertised as starting at 8 pm and I called ahead to make sure they were having it and that I didn't need a reservation. It was confirmed and I didn't need to make a reservation. I got there a little early, because I wanted to get seats and order some food. Trivia didn't end up starting until after 8:30. The trivia host was sitting with a group of friends and not starting trivia any time soon. When I asked the owner said it can start anytime between 8-8:30, which was not reflected on the website and the bartender even seemed surprised by this time range. So at this point I had been there for over an hour. Trivia itself was fun, but I would have adjusted my schedule to arrive a little later. Finally, the menu was small, mostly fried bar food to be expected. The fried pickles were very salty, but the eggroll special was yummy!

Yelp
Located in the Vons shopping center on Pass, who knew there could be such a cool place. Very "pubby", it's dark, very clean, and very cozy. Not a dive bar, tavern is very much the right name for it. They had 4 drafts, lots of bottled beer, cocktails, whiskeys, etc -- definitely a nice variety of much the usual fare. The food menu had some interesting things: burger, a housemade veggie burger, 4 kinds of fries, karaage, katsu, and for dessert, freshly made cookies and beignets. Well, drinks were good, for sure. But the hit -- the food was surprisingly good! Hanging with my buds, we shared the tots/waffle fries combo (with duck fat), and they were super crisp delish. I tried the The Rogue's Burger [$16, 4.5] (Seasoned mixed greens, onion jam, dijon aioli & aged cheddar on brioche) -- would have made an entry into my book "Berger knows Burgers", of course, if Roguelike was around in 2017. Nice bartenders that were also efficient, it's definitely has all the makings for a cool hang. They started in January in the midst of the pandemic's worst, so basically, operating fully for 6 weeks. What it needs is people, a vibe, energy. C'mon peeps, do your thing.

Yelp
Far from Roguelike, but something you will like! This Speakeasy/Tavern/Pub is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away in the Vons shopping center off Pass Avenue North of the 134 Fwy right next to B of A aka Bank of America with a parking lot full of plenty of parking in any direction. An all-inclusive and lgbtq+ friendly spot with an underground feel from the moment you walk in with great music, plenty of seating including booths, tables or the bar and lots of rustic paneling with a pretty full bar selection. They do ask for ID upon entering regardless of age and advertise what the promise in food and cocktails which are both ordered at the bar only, including unique signature beverages like the Mr. Krinkle (bison grass vodka based cocktail), My Druidess, Mandrogora, Blackwater Park and anything your heart desires in the form of a classic or well adult beverages. The food is quite impressive... The tots and waffles fries alone are something to celebrate, but the burgers and dishes are all a win. I came in with a group of my closest friends and between us we had plenty... me partaking in the many vegan options this establishment has to offer like the Okonomiyaki... savory, scallion, pancakes, cremini mushrooms and nori flakes with incredible Japanese bbq sauce I wish I could put on everything. I'm definitely eyeing The Forager burger (100% plant based) for next time... maybe with a side of that house made bbq... insert drool emojis. The Ducklin garlic potatoes can also be made vegan friendly as well. Roguelike has disposable utensils and great table service for eats. The service at the bar is just as praise worthy (plays Fatboy Slim's Praise You) and the bartenders are friendly and fast. After 9pm the lighting changes up a pit with candles lit and colored lighting throughout the tavern. Campari not being vegan friendly aside (my struggle) for so many of their cool sig drinks.... I will say I was hoping for some mild form of entertainment, my wonderful company apart,... Is one thing I haven't been lucky enough to enjoy just yet via The RL.T... This definitely feels like the kind of spot you could see a local solo artist, improv comedy set or open mic situation with some strategic table placement or even a complimentary cocktail or shot contest, trivia, games, speed dating and/or friending... Is that a thing... I saw that Roguelike has and does do cool stuff and I'm really hoping to catch something in the very near future and experience what great things they have to offer in the future... Not to mention try more amazing food and beverages from personable servers with a lot of personality over aesthetic lighting and good mood music. Good tavern vibes all-around!

Yelp
went here for comedy bingo and jazz for a friend's birthday on a weeknight. staff and entertainers were super sweet and the drinks and food were great. will absolutely go back for bingo, trivia, and/or any nerdy events they host. the space is old school cool with those fun red half moon booths and tables (very accessible to everyone/all bodies), or you can sit on the tall stools at the bar. i'm old, but i still took some jell-o shots and they did not disappoint. highly recommend for groups, dates, or just a drink. order off their cocktail menu and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Saw the post, came here last week. Atmosphere was depressing, we didn't order any food, but the service was astonishing. We ordered our first round of drinks, I ordered a gin and tonic. I took one drink and immediately realized the bartender made me a gin and soda. I said I'm sorry I ordered a gin and tonic, this is soda. The bartender said "no you said soda" (I know what I ordered, but whatever) I said okay, well I meant tonic. I was informed that I could order ANOTHER gin and tonic and maybe give the soda to someone else that wants it, but we will not be replacing the drink!!! I said seriously, and I was snapped at; yeah, why should we lose money because you ordered wrong. (I DIDN'T!!!!) I was shocked, but based on everything I'm seeing about this place (and the way management responds to the criticism) It looks like no one here takes any responsibility for their mistakes. Of course we will find another place to rotate into our weekly drink spots.

Yelp
Rude and a Scam! - We went there for an evening, everything was okay. But when we closed our tab it was more than we thought. We looked at the tab, there was a round of shots we didn't order. We called over the bartender that dropped off our tab (which wasn't the same one that served us), and let him know. We mentioned the mistake, there were only 3 of us and it was a round of 4, I'm sure it was just added to the wrong tab. We were told "They wouldn't be on there if you didn't order them." We insisted that we didn't have shots, find the other bartender, he said "I don't need to, they wouldn't be on there, either pay it or we'll call the cops". They already ran the card so it's not like we could refuse payment, so we just ended up paying for drinks we didn't order. So you're welcome to whoever got the free round of shots. We signed and said this was ridiculous, he then shrugged his shoulders and said thanks, you can get out now. It was surreal, but based on the other stories I'm reading, not uncommon here. I now see why it was so dead, we definitely won't be back either.

Yelp
Have been to dozens of the themed nights here and they're always a blast, especially the trivia night. Such a charming space hiding in this Burbank strip mall, a valley oasis. I want to leave a five star review, however they've implemented a system where you have to order food and drinks through your phone. Not only does this mean that it's very difficult to pay cash, but now instead of enjoying the atmosphere, me and my friends are just on our phones the whole time, trying to figure out tech instead of interacting with a friendly waiter or waitress. Hopefully they'll ditch this ordering system soon, because everything else about this bar RULES.

Season H.

Yelp
I wish six stars were an option. The cocktails here are expertly crafted and beautifully adorned. The sliders are the best I've ever had. Love the Hawaiian rolls. I was tempted to ask to take home a vat of the dijon aioli so I could put it on absolutely everything I eat from now on. The tots are perfectly crisp with just the right amount of salt. The beignets: perfect. Even on their own. Then you add in the Sazerac chocolate dipping sauce with sweet, complex flavors. Divine. The service is attentive and caring. We felt like we were being taken care of by a friend. It was lovely to sit outside in the sun, socially distanced amongst fellow nerds and relax, smile, and eat delicious food. We can't wait to move here in a couple months and become regulars. I wish more places had the care, food, and humor of Roguelike, but that's what makes it so special.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! Been there 4 times, each time was wonderful, with great ambience, cool bartender and owner, good music, and stiff drinks... great place to take a date!
google avatar

Miko K.

Yelp
this place has a lot of potential that's not being utilized. I understand the concept they're trying to achieve but the execution is just not there. My boyfriend and I popped in while waiting on our dinner reservations next door. Smells like straight mildew when you walk in. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it was fun people watching. For a Tavern they had such a small alcohol selection! The drinks were meh and so was the ambiance. Unfortunately, wouldn't recommend :/. Stop by Vons next door and grab a handle or 6 pack instead.

Dominic H.

Yelp
We love the Roguelike Tavern! It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with thoughtful staff. There is always some fun, nerdy event each week that you can't miss and plenty of great drinks to go with it. We stop by often, especially after a long day. The food and drink will make any bad day into a good night.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Created an account just to review this - dirty place (bathrooms especially were disgusting) drinks and food were NOT worth it, but the rudeness and attitude was staggering. No one checked on us, and when we asked about our drink order, after 20 minutes, the door person said "they're busy, relax, you'll get em when you get em". We got them 20 minutes AFTER that. Embarrassing and pathetic, never coming back.

Yelp
Moved to Burbank not that long ago and found the local bars a little underwhelming. We wanted to go out for a drink and didn't want to drive far so we walked across the street. It did not disappoint! We found ourselves coming again the weekend after and the subsequent weekend! It has good food and even better drinks. The bartenders are friendly and make solid drinks and the owner makes everyone feel really welcome. Roguelike definitely found itself some regulars

Yelp
Our favorite bar! We love going for weekly trivia. they also have great comedy nights, karaoke, and lots of special events. The food is delicious, the drinks are spectacular, and the entire staff is so lovely. They make us feel like family. It's like our own version of Cheers! Can't recommend this place highly enough. A safe space for folks from all walks of life! Love the Roguelike Tavern!

Yelp
The Roguelike Tavern is so good my wife and I had our reception there! The royal thunder is my favorite mezcal cocktail, have a couple and you're set for the night. Order yourself a triforce, it includes three sliders, a beef, chicken katsu and possibly still a mushroom slider. Their burgers are amazing. The coolest staff ever, everyone is super nice and up for a chat about whatever nerd culture you're into. The chef really can't do wrong! If they ever have a taco night, GO! They have different themed nights as well; bingo, trivia, karaoke, jazz, etc. Definitely my favorite bar in the Burbank area and possibly favorite in L.A., honestly. Long live the Roguelike!

Yelp
If you want to enjoy a wholesome evening of singing your heart out with friends and maybe even strangers - this is the place to go. When I first entered the venue I felt a little out of place being the first to arrive from my party and there being large groups everywhere and zero seating. After a few drinks and with my friends finally arriving, we had a blast to say the very least. Gives me a midwestern hometown feel right here in Cali.

Yelp
Drinks took forever, the bar had a musky smell to it, and ambiance just felt really run down. Only giving a second star because I had a blast doing karaoke in a Friday night with my friends and the MC was great.

Yelp
Was so disappointed, we were hoping for a fun dive bar experience, but it was just a clumsy mess of an establishment. Food was upsetting, drinks were WAY too expensive for how dirty and depressing the atmosphere is, and the service was non existent. Rude and entitled. Plenty of other local bars with friendly staff that appreciates their customers. This place is just sad and embarrassing.

Yelp
Stumbled across this bar for drink before Ma's, really nice atmosphere, drinks are SO good, the bartender was great. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I also saw the bad bar list, this bar needs to be higher on it. We've given this place several chances, it's been an absolute disappointment every time. The food is greasy and overpriced for what you get, the atmosphere is depressing and sad, and the service is god awful! Seriously, I've never seen a more incompetent staff trying to mix drinks. The last straw was a couple weeks ago when we came in for, what we thought would be, a "quick drink". It took FOREVER to get anything, and the staff was so rude when we finally did get to order. All I did was ask for extra lime and it was TOSSED on the bar in front of me, seriously, this place is a joke. Never coming back!

Yelp
We saw the reviews, checked it out because we love dive bars. There's a difference between a "dive" and a "hole". It's true, the place is depressing and the customer service is terrible. No one here knows what they are doing, it's really mind boggling. Don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, I really miss Crawford's.. but this burger was amazing (perhaps a bit over cooked) but amazing. Simple, well seasoned, and delightful. Tots were great too. All I've been looking for in the area are places that aren't afraid of salt, and I'm happy to say that now I've found 2.. they have Campari and decent scotch so I'm good on the booze front as well. I'm obviously super cool, so I don't get all of the fantasy stuff, but I'm just happy the spot is back and doesn't suck. Nerds

Yelp
Truly baffled by all of the negative reviews of this wonderful bar. The drinks are strong and delicious, the staff is kind, attentive, and hard working. The atmosphere of the bar is a wonderfully cozy quiet spot without any pretentiousness. It's a go to for me and my friends.
