"You’ll always find locals at The Rose for lunch, Happy Hour, or before catching a movie at the Riverwalk Theater. And you should join them to celebrate all the powder turns you enjoyed before that après-ski food and drink craving kicked in. Go for the avocado fries with soy aioli, a plate of elote-style vegetables, and a rich bowl of ramen with a miso bone broth. It’s worth ordering a Paper Plane cocktail, since this one actually comes with your very own paper plane as a non-edible but fully flyable garnish." - Kim Fuller

"Restaurateurs often worry about waning interest after the five year mark. But The Rose in Edwards, which opened in 2013, has fought such fatigue by expanding on their fifth birthday to bring even more delicious baked goods, craft cocktails, and healthy, sustainably-sourced and affordable meals to locals and visitors alike. Think buffalo cauliflower, beef barbacoa tacos, and homemade ramen bowls in a super-hip atmosphere." - Rebecca Treon

My friend chose The Rose to celebrate her birthday and we had a blast, we were taken care by Lily I think it was her name, she was the best server (most of us work in the service industry) we appreciate her, amazing service and patience, cocktails were sooooo good, I had the pisco flower and the one with fernet, our table was mixed with people from Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Colombian, Dominican and US and we ALL loved everything! The food was amazing, the pork belly piggie smalls was the star for sure, I had the tuna poke bowl and loved it and tried the ramen and was so good. As locals we will come back and recommend this place to everyone! The place is very nicely decorated as well, the only little thing is that you do leave smelling like food maybe the fan in the kitchen is not very powerful? But its still worth it to go. Thank you!

This was my fiancé and I first time traveling to Pagosa Springs and The Rose DID NOT disappoint. This was my fav restaurant out of the 5 days we were there. So good, I had to stop by and get a Togo order right before leaving for my flight! My favorite thing that I got was the Chx Bacon Wrap. Everything was fresh, tasty, and very well seasoned!! Staff was attentive and quick!! My husband loved their pozole and their omelet! If you haven’t tried this place, it needs to be a must!!! Cannot wait to be back for more!!

If you choose to eat here, be sure and confirm the pricing with the waitstaff. This is the second time I've had issues with the prices on the menu. An Arnold Parker was $10 PER DRINK - no free refills and the waitress didn't mention it when I asked for a refill (I would have ordered tea if I knew the AP was going to be $10!). And, $2 was added to each item I ordered gluten free without any mention being made of this up charge by the waitress or on the menu. I'm a local and LOVE the avocado fries, but I won't be back. I love supporting our local places, but they've got to be honest and upfront about their pricing.

Really “cool” food. Ramen bowel was amazing. Beet salad, Korean fried chicken wings and rose salad all were amazing. This food would stand out anywhere!

Casual, great vegan options. Some things need to be modified to be plant based but everything we had was really tasty. Reasonably priced. Good vegan option in the Vail area

Very disappointed I didn’t check the cake before I left the store. The top didn’t set and it was so runny. This is usually a delicious cake so I decided to get it for my mom’s birthday. If I wasn’t desperate for a cake I would have taken it back. For it being $73 you would expect it to be perfect. I reached out to the owner and they didn’t have the decency to call back and at least apologize. Please check your cakes before you leave the store.

While on the road to Denver we found this place in google. Man, it is awesome! Food is served in small plates to share and is super fresh. This place had great food, service, music and environment!! Highly recommended!

Food was delicious. Pricing was very reasonable for a ski resort area. And customer service was excellent. The kids had the ramen which was delicious. And my salad with park belly was really good. Will definitely come back again. Heads up: Signage is tough to see (signage is pretty small + dark color on a dark background) so plan on arriving early. Was told parking would be tough but we found lots of parking spaces available for our 7:30pm reservation.
