The 25 Best Restaurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico | Eater

"At some restaurants, breakfast or brunch offerings are an afterthought, but the team at the Shop remembers which one is the most important meal of the day. Chef Israel “Izz” Rivera has been turning out some of the best daytime meals in the city for almost a decade. The chilaquiles are topped with roasted pork shoulder and swim in a savory red chile sauce, the kind of comfort food that regulars crave in the mornings, while the signature burger brings them back at midday. Know before you go: Keep an eye on the restaurant’s Instagram for when the Shop closes for extra-long weekends, part of Rivera’s efforts to always put his staff first and make sure they get well-deserved time off." - Justin De La Rosa

Breakfast was so good here and the service was fast and friendly! Had a mocha latte that was super delicious and tried the yogurt and granola and duck hash bowl. Both were absolutely amazing and came in large portions. Felt like the value was excellent for the cost and loved all of the Star Wars themed artwork in the cafe!

Google
I was looking up new breakfast places to try and I decided to come in here, I am so glad I did because this is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I ordered the duck hash with a side of green chili hollandaise sauce. The other meal ordered was the Americana with bacon. Everything is homemade and fresh, including the blueberry jelly for the toast The serving sizes were huge plenty to take home for lunch. Just an FYI, they do serve lunch all day. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back again.

Google
Great comfort food! Breakfast does not miss overall really good and filling. I would say this place can get really busy and sometimes the staff seems a little overwhelmed. Which is totally okay as the food makes up for it! Go check this spot out to get some really good French toast and breakfast!

Google
Hot little spot! The only reason the atmosphere didn't get 5 stars is that it was very noisy inside (it's a tiny place!). Staff let us move to one of the tables on the patio and OMG, the food! And the orange juice (yes, I know it's pricey Karen, but buy it anyway and thank me later!) We got the duck hash and the Chorizo torta. Enough for two meals, so divide what you pay in half. And if you still think it's expensive, divide breakfast and lunch costs into one brunch cost, and you'll see what a bargain you're getting. The food is THAT good! I'm going back next time I'm in town for the lemon cornmeal pancakes!

Google
A fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in Albuquerque. We came for breakfast after hearing nothing but good things about this place, we were not led astray. The food is amazing, absolutely some of the best breakfast creations we have ever had. The atmosphere is top notch, and the staff are really friendly. My only minor issue was that we were new and they probably typically have regulars so I had trouble keeping up with what the staff were saying but overall not a big deal. Highest recommendation.

Google
Well, if you know, you know. If you don't, go. This place does it right. Tasty food, huge portions, well-balanced flavor profiles, and a menu with enough great options without too many choices. High quality tea and a great cup of coffee. Service is great in a perfectly-not-fancy atmosphere. If you have one breakfast/ brunch in Abq, eat at the shop.

Google
I absolutely love this place! Amazing group running it and cooking! The food is the best! You can it’s make with love and all homemade! We have found our spot to eat when we come to town!!!!!!!! USMC

Angelic Valencia

Google
The food was delicious, large portions! Staff were friendly and most things were self-serve like the coffee to go boxes and water. Only thing was the small space. Very busy place and not so many seats. Loved the food tho and we would definitely come back

Yelp
The Shop is always worth the wait! There was a bit of a line but I honestly love the concept they have here because the flow moves faster. We ordered the eggs benny, a favorite you must try if you haven't already. Duck hash which was the right amount of crunchy savory I needed. Loved the red chile. Then lastly a small order of their pancakes. Those pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Plus that berry jam. You won't even need syrup. The Shop really knows how to do the perfect amount of flavor without going over board and that's why it's my favorite breakfast spot in town.
google avatar

Yelp
We really enjoyed our food and the service here! We had the breakfast burrito and the eggs benny. The eggs benny was not too spicy for me. Both meals were double the portion size we could eat. Bring an appetite. We thought waiting in the long line to order (20-30 minutes) increased it enough but it didn't! The line and hot dining area did take away from the experience a bit but be sure to try this restaurant. Perhaps we hit the worst of Saturday brunch hours (11am).

Yelp
Man o man the servings here are HUGE! You definitely get your money's worth of food, great tasting and very affordable. The concept of the shop is cool, you have to wait in line and order/pay before you eat and sit down, kinda like a food truck. You also have to get everything yourself, drinks/napkins/refills and to-go-boxes but like I said.. it's a cool concept that isn't done anywhere else. The tables and waiting area are too close together though, not a lot of room or sense of privacy. Food 10/10 Affordability 10/10 Ambiance 8/10

Yelp
yeah, no. nasty food. I expressed my concern to the waitress and she wanted to make it right but the replacement dish was just dry and disgusting. my chorizo and gravy was drenched in sauce. Im still hungry and I just got off a flight and no more time to eat before my business meeting. will never return

Yelp
The Shop is one of our favorite breakfast spots. Food is always spot on, abundant, and service is efficient and friendly. I took my husband for Father's Day and he got their special for the day, a chicken fried rib eye. It was the size of the plate and was served with country fried potatoes, gravy and pickled green beans. It was delicious and he was very happy. I had the huevos rancheros and was immediately in my happy place. They had blue corn tortillas underneath, organic eggs on top, and a side of black beans and country fried potatoes. We both took home leftovers that made for another meal the next day. Don't sleep on The Shop. You will leave happy and most likely with leftovers.

Yelp
Went back for the French toast, and I've come to the conclusion that homemade is better than any restaurant's. The Shop cuts thick slices and includes fresh fruit on the side, but the edges were crustier/tougher than they should've been (needed a longer soak in the egg batter), and overall, the flavor was lacking (more cinnamon needed). Service is always friendly, but both brunch dishes I've ordered now have been underwhelming and too pricey. Maybe I'm just ordering wrong...

Yelp
My friend and I went for Brunch on a Saturday morning. We knew immediately that we had made the right decision because the place was packed! They want you to order at the counter before sitting down, so it is a good idea to have your whole party there before going in. It is very colorful inside and they have some great artwork from a local artist tastefully displayed on the walls. The line to order was all the way to the door when we walked in. We got in line and shortly someone came to give us menus and a little run down of the situation. He said it would be about 20min to get through the line and then he would work on getting us sat. Perhaps we just had good conversation but it did not feel like 20min and we were at the front of the line. They had the chicken and waffles listed on the specials at the counter and I changed my order as soon as I saw that was an option. It was only a few moments later that we were sat at a high table and the food came out shortly after that. It was piping hot and delicious. The chicken was two wings and drumsticks breaded and fried with 2 waffle squares, syrup, and butter. The chicken was juicy and crispy with lots of flavor and paired well with the syrup and waffles. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
I keep chasin' that same old devil down the same old dead end highway Ridin' that storm runnin' through my veins like a shot down tail spun airplane Scared of nothin' and I'm scared to death I can't breathe then I catch my breath... We finally cruised into Nob Hill, We settled into "The Shop" for morning grub, though they're busy, at what seemed like the "KrackODawn" we found a cozy booth, after we ordered/donated moolah..:) We shared the "Duck Hash" on a bed of red chile..grilled potatoes, sprouts first found in brussels/belgium, mushrooms, green chile (feeling a little bit like Xmas.:), garlic, cheddar and duck confit (too little quack) w. over-easy eggs on the side for the Lass. This was an exceptionally delish dish on our septuagenarian palates (still with canine teeth and molars..:) Washed down w. Orange Juice by the Lass and a CupOJoe by the Lad. A fun breafast grub for these Baby Boomers..:) Ain't no love in Oklahoma Just the whistle of a long black train You'll know when it's comin' for ya Ridin' in on the wind and rain Best, Avram L. Yelp
The Shop is sooo yummy! Everything is unique and creative. The creativeness of the chef is beyond delicious. It's not just a plain menu. It has its own twist and presentation was wonderful. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
This morning my dad called me as I was getting up. He told me him and my brother were there. It was my very first visit so you know I was excited. The place was pretty packed. Considering by the time I showered and got ready it had been at least 20 to 30 minutes before I arrived to meet them. I was shocked when I saw a line at the door. I found my dad and brother towards the front of the line and they showed me the menu. I really wasn't sure what to expect. I found myself tempted to get the burrito that was until I discovered they didn't have a green chili option. It's red chili they smother the burrito in. Don't get wrong I enjoy red chili I'm just very picky and selective about it. Being my first time I wasn't sure if I wanted to roll the dice. I ended up settling with the cheesesteak sandwich accompanied by some good ol freedom fries. My dad got the steakhouse mac and cheese and my brother settled with the breakfast burrito. My dad let me have a taste of the Mac and cheese it was very creamy. I took my first bite of the cheesesteak. I wasn't sure about the choice for red onions but I will say it complimented the creamy cheesy flavor that surrounded the meat. I was surprised to see jalapeños inside. Surprisingly the jalapeños didn't overpower the creamy delicious sandwich. It complimented it very nicely. My brothers burrito was practically a giant heap of egg and bacon smothered in chili. I'm not gonna lie I'm half tempted to try it next time. It goes without saying this place is great. The staff is very friendly. I was worried about seating but by the time we ordered the food there were plenty of spots available. Just a note they mention not to seat yourself until you order your food but don't worry if you can manage the line, you'll have no trouble finding a spot by the time you order your food. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Breakfast at the shop was delicious as always. We had not been there in a few years. I got the chiliquiles and my husband got the eggs Bennie. It was super busy, but the portion size was just as we remebered.
google avatar

Nibuz E.

Yelp
The shop is definitely a great vibe that gives you a large amount of food. Unfortunately, the quantity seems to be at the cost of the quality. Between the burrito and the mac n cheese, they were both decent but felt like they lacked flavor and had more shock and awe value. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and the inside is a vibe. The best food in abq? No. Worth checking out and a place to grab a bite with options to store a variety of folks? Absolutely
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
I will definitely be returning. Everything was just great! From the food to the service. Even the salad was well seasoned! I added bacon to a beet salad, amazing! The cornbread pancake so fully and light. Love the vibes the place gave me. You will definitely enjoy your visit here.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a cool spot. It's in a strip mall off of Central. The place was packed but I was able to find convenient parking right out front! There is a line that you stand in to order and you cannot sit down until you've ordered. You are seated by staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have fresh orange juice and coffee. My friend got the avocado toast and I got the biscuit eggs Benedict. First of all the portions are HUGE! I had enough for a second meal! We both enjoyed the food and it wasn't too loud despite how busy it was and stayed the whole time we were there. I look forward to trying other items. It was fun watching all the different dishes be delivered. I have to come back and bring my hubby! Yummy spot!
google avatar

Denika F.

Yelp
Always love coming here for breakfast. The eggs Benedict cannot be beat! Perfect every time! The carne adovada is so tasty! My husband always opts for the French toast which is also amazing! Huge servings! If you eat light, you can definitely share. The location is also in a quaint area of town, go early for optimum parking. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Dropped by this local institution on Sunday morning and there was a long line stretching from the register that took ~20min. We got the Brussels sprouts salad and croque madame, and let me just say that portions here are massive. Our order ended up being way too much food for 2 people. The salad was excellent and flavorful, and the croque madame was rich and cheesy (too heavy for me, but delivered exactly what it was supposed to be).
google avatar

Victoria P.

Yelp
Holy crap I love how large they serve their portions! Portions to price ratio was worth it to be honest. Only downside we experienced was the meat to the eggs Benedict was cold. My friend didn't want to be a bother to ask for it to be reheated so she ate some cold shredded beef. I had the chilaquiles and 100% recommend the chilaquiles. Now these are not your typical chilaquiles...These are chilaquiles on hipster steroids lol I enjoyed them. They are not traditional, but very devour worthy lol I actually needed a to go box and I think they tasted better the next day lol We also ordered the lemon cornmeal pancakes - skip those. I think it was missing something...maybe some pine nuts? Or some type of nut? Even with the syrup they were pretty lackluster although they looked delicious. Great spot with a private parking lot. You order at the counter, take a number, then have a seat. They bring the food to you. Very straightforward and simple.

Yelp
The Shop has always treated my family well and the food is amazing. My in-laws ate here daily until we had to move them to assisted living. Paula and the staff always looked out for them. We brought my FiL in today and they were all happy to see him. It was like returning home. The duck hash is my favorite. You can also never go wrong with the Mac and Cheese or the grilled cheese. The avocado toast makes a great lighter meal. The portions are generous, like the staff. The artwork is by a local artist, Kim Jackson.
google avatar

Lee Ann R.

Yelp
If you come to The Shop on a weekend morning, expect to wait in line for a few minutes and longer to receive your order, as they are managing their space so patrons have a place to sit and eat. However, the wait is well worth it because their food is fantastic. Once we ordered, we got our drinks right away and grabbed a spot on the couch while our table was being cleaned and reset. Their drip coffee is locally roasted and flavorful with free refills, which I appreciated. My chicken and waffles were fabulous. The chicken is beautifully seasoned with a nice mix of herbs and spices - I detected some fresh thyme in the mix. The waffles were perfectly cooked and it was a really nice combination. My husband had the lemon cornmeal pancakes, which were delicious - blue cornmeal, lemon curd, fresh berries, etc. - and he didn't have any problem finishing the plate. You have the option of ordering one, three, or five pancakes; they are the size you'd normally make at home so I ordered five for him. This was one of the best breakfast/brunches we've had recently.

Yelp
Outstanding breakfast burrito, f*cking huge with premium ingredients. Delicious coffee and servers with attitude all a good sign. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is soooo good! The front counter staff is hit or miss on friendliness, but the food makes up for that for sure. I've tried the chilaquiles, carne adovada burrito, and a couple of the lunch sandwiches and have yet to be disappointed. I'm basically addicted to the carne adovada breakfast burrito at this point though. I'm finding it hard to try anything else on the menu because of this fact, but there are some other things that I'm tempted to try. The eggs benny, biscuits and chorizo gravy, and chorizo and egg torta are a few menu items that are calling my name. Maybe next time though, because I'm definitely getting the carne breakfast burrito again. It's so big, I eat half for breakfast and half for lunch!! Definitely highly recite food here!
google avatar

Shelly T.

Yelp
Superlative New Mexican eggs benny. The pickled onions cut the creaminess of the green Chile hollandaise. Add Cholula for extra heat, but the adovada is complex enough. Get here early!
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
Holy moly was this place amazing. Cute little place tucked back between some shops with some really cool murals. Park and order than find a seat and trust me it's worth the line to order. Food was off the charts great. I had the Biscuits with Gravy, single stack buttermilk pancake and my friend had the chicken and waffles. Everything was so good. Stop I'm telling you that it won't be a disappointment!!

Yelp
It's been a long time since I've been here, and I know it's super popular and that my friend loves it. I'm glad I suggested we go today. I got the veggie Mac and cheese, which was decadent, creamy, and super flavorful. I didn't expect beets to be one of the vegetables, and caramelized onions.. such a delicious mix of flavors, and it's enough to have had a big lunch and now dinner. I was glad I could get a side salad too, though it wasn't listed on the menu. My friends' chilaquiles and burritos looked huge and amazing too. My one request- I bet you could make some delicious vegan fare as well, and be a little more vegetarian friendly like by offering the chilaquiles with an alternative to the meat. The restaurant was busy and getting our food did take awhile, but was totally worth the wait, and it was so nice how spread out our table felt from others. There's a fun atmosphere, with art all over the walls. Would have preferred music that wasn't so hard rock, but at least it wasn't super loud.
google avatar

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Food is great, friendly staff, great service! Been here several times and have not been disappointed. I come from a southern Arizona border town and must say I am impressed with their chilaquiles.
google avatar

Jess D.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! They have unique dishes and everything tastes great! I had the duck hash and French toast, and my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito. The portion sizes were large and the flavors were really good together. The French toast had blueberry creme on it the day we went. There's local art on the walls and it was a nice place to sit even though it was a bit loud when we were there on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter and then sit, where your food is delivered. Ordering was easy and the woman at the register was very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok my first time at the shop! Here is my review. Three of us went around 11 am on a Sunday. When we first walked in all the tables were full so immediately you think you are not going to get a table. Well that is not the case the line to order is such a wait 20 minutes or so that by the time you order there are open tables. By the time we ordered we had to wait another 30 to 35 minutes for our food. So if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. Was the food worth the wait. Me personally not really. Food: I ordered the eggs benny really big portion. Was ok .Need more taste seasoning chile something. My son ordered the chilaquiles which was also a big portion this dish definitely had more taste. The third dish was the waffles with banana maple syrup. Waffles were good and syrup on point but they should give you more syrup. Ordered the qbano to go for later. Was meh! The meat was dry the sandwich was dry and the house chips were ok. I had heard great things about this place. Overall it is ok. I am hard to impress. Ambiance this place is crowded on a Sunday morning so if you dont like crowds not your place. People must like it because there was a consistent line when we got there and when we left. Service. Was ok lady up front just took order. Did not make any recommendations nor tell us if there were any specials. Would have like to know what drink options there were.

Yelp
Thanks to Pride, we finally tried this awesome eatery. We wanted to get to the parade early, for parking and breakfast. There was a handful of people at 8. Still plenty of tables in this funky little place. We ordered Chiliquiles and Buttermilk Pancakes. Partner mentioned that we would be splitting the food. Waitperson said it might be 20 minutes before food was ready. Food arrived about 10 minutes later. Low and behold, both entrees were split on separate plates. It was so cool that they did that! The servings are huge. The food was delicious. My first bite was the black beans in the chilaquiles. I thought they were too salty. Nope! When eaten with the carne, it's a perfect bite. The pancakes were delicious too. The Shop made me very happy. The food and service made me very happy. The prices were fair for what we got. We went home to watch Beat Bobby Flay. Unfortunately chef Isreal was eliminated. Looking forward to Chopped; he will be a contestant. This was a meal that I will remember.

Yelp
I've eaten here three times so far and been delighted each time. Their biscuits and gravy may ruin you for any lesser version. The Croque Madame had me awestruck by how good it looked and it tasted just as good. It's fast casual, order at the table and they bring it out to you, but the quality of the food is incredible - this is fast casual for foodies. The only thing I could possibly complain about is that they're only open for breakfast and lunch.
google avatar

Christina A.

Yelp
Love the food here especially the pancakes so fluffy. A bit of a wait for your food but well worth it.
google avatar

Andrea V.

Yelp
We had an amazing breakfast here on recommendation from a local artist we had met in Albuquerque. We were not disappointed! It was a wonderful breakfast, huevos rancheros was awesome! There was so much food, we felt bad that we couldn't eat it all or take it with us since we were headed to the airport. Really awesome artwork on the walls and items to purchase as well. Tastiest huevos rancheros ever! Came back home craving it!
google avatar

Taylin E.

Yelp
Great food at the Shop as always. I have been here multiple times now throughout the years and they never disappoint. The quantity is great and the quality is never short of superb. There is usually a line, but it moves quick and the employees do a great job of getting folks a table as soon as possible. The freshly squeezed OJ is fantastic, especially in their mimosas. The vibe is very laid back, come as you are and accepting. They have some great swag for sale too. Highly recommend the shop for visitors and locals alike.

Yelp
Seems that we are always looking for places to eat breakfast. Sometimes we find a place worth remembering and returning to - other times...Which brings us here. We saw some of the non-restaurant problems - biggest being parking. We arrived during lunch and parking was definitely hard to find. But we found a place and parked. It was busy inside, with a few open tables. Luckily we got here in between rushes - really busy while we were waiting for food. Placed our order, Biscuits and Chorizo Gravy and Qbano Sandwich with fries. Food arrived and they were large portions. The biscuit was fresh, the gravy had great taste. A little disappointed it didn't have any chorizo in it, but it was still flavorful. The Qbano was loaded with ham and shredded pork, the cheese and pickles were not overpowering and added to the flavor. Maybe a little more expensive but portions are huge. We had enough for lunch the next day. Maybe a little inconvenient to get to, but the food is worth it.

Yelp
This was my first time at The Shop. I joined a friend for Saturday lunch at 12:30pm and sat on the netting-covered patio. There were still tables available inside and out. The venue is located inside the Del Castillo building, which was built in 1948. On the patio are three tables for dining. Ordering is counter service. I ordered the chorizo mac and cheese. Neither the online or in-person menus had any sides listed. I asked what sides I could order along with the entree, and the cashier/server seemed confused. She asked, "Like what?" And I said "Sides like bread, etc." She said they had toast and a biscuit, so I got a biscuit, a bowl of chorizo mac and cheese, and a Fanta orange soda for $20.23 including tax (excluding tip). After ordering, you get a number you place at the table and the food is delivered. I was told the wait would be 35-40 minutes, which was exactly accurate. There were extra tables both inside and outside the restaurant, so I'm not sure why the long wait time since they weren't at capacity. Perhaps that's usual there? The chorizo didn't taste like chorizo to me, and I couldn't identify any pieces of meat in the mac other than some ground beef. It was chorizo-spiced, which isn't exactly what was advertised. The dish was exceptionally greasy. I didn't really mind that, though some diners will. The biscuit was good, though I likely would have ordered a side of vegetables if they have those as sides - the cashier didn't know. I don't get the hype surrounding The Shop. It's counter-serve Americana and light New Mexican, so if you're looking for general staples (no sides included or suggested), this might be a good choice, especially if you're fine with greasy spiced mac.

Yelp
Cute place! always crowded but worth any amount of wait time! French toast and mimosas!! One of my favorite local places!

Yelp
I came with seven friends on a Friday. First time here. Heard good things about the food. It's a small little place tucked away inside a strip mall next to a Taco Bell. I admit the parking is a little tight but other than that everything was spot on perfect. I was able to put two tables together to seat eight. It's a go to the counter and order type of place. In our case they wanted all of us to order so that they could process the order in the kitchen at the same time and bring out the food to us all together. We ordered an assortment of dishes. Everyone was very happy with their food. Larger portions were appreciated. I don't know if they will take customer requests to customize orders. None of us did we just got our dishes as they were described on the menu. We did appreciate that paper menu is were available for us to prove at the table. Coffee is a little pricey over $3 however it is unlimited refills. I love that they serve coffee in reusable vessels. The staff was very accommodating. We understand the kitchen is run by the owner chef. We had a wonderful breakfast great conversation at the table we felt very comfortable and we cannot wait to come back again. Congratulations to the owners.

Yelp
.... Very good food, large portions, served in an understated neighborhood environment. Unique combinations and ingredients (basically a plate full of OMG ...). Prepare to be "wowed" by the food and friendly service. Neighborhood, local flavor/vibe in a casual space.

Yelp
I would definitely stop by and check it out. A lot of the food is extremely rich and can be a shareable serving for sure. If you like rich filling food then this is your place. I went specifically for the burger and was disappointed. I've tried the breakfast and that's better. American and New Mexican cuisine are the only two that I get from this place. It's mostly crowded for brunch so plan to be there a minute. Over all not a bad place to visit.
google avatar

Francisco S.

Yelp
I have no clue why we have not heard about this place. With a craving for chilaquiles, we found this place on google. It's a cozy, casual dining place with nice art on the walls. It feels friendly. And the smell was definitely a nice introduction to our breakfast. Our chilaquiles were simply amazing. The sauce was not spicy, but it had all the flavors it needed. The cream and avocado were a nice break from the acidity of the sauce and onions. The egg was less runny than I wanted but still a flavorful addition. The portion was surprisingly very filling. And the service... quite quick and very friendly! This place was a great delight and we will return to try some other appetizing items. Until next time, The Shop!

Yelp
First time here. In to visit family and heard about this place on The Bobby Bones radio show. Bobby stated that this was his favorite place of all time for breakfast, so we decided to check it out. We ordered the Qbano and the Chiliques. Both were fantastic! They only serve breakfast and lunch. It's a small place but full when we got there and many, many people picking up to go orders Staff was friendly and attentive! Next time in town we will be back!

Yelp
Not much to add per my last review other than you need to get here early in the morning since they have become so popular. Service is always on-point, the food always amazing and fresh, and the atmosphere very fun for such a small shop. As said before, we will continue to come here.

Yelp
I went here on a recommendation of a fellow local. The staff were very friendly and polite. It is a very quaint and cozy space with some outdoor patio seating as well. This place and its chef have won numerous local awards and it shows with the food. I ordered the Qbano sandwich with a side salad and it was delicious, extremely moist slow cooked pork cut with a crisp homemade pickle. The side salad was perfectly dressed.

Yelp
Very crowded. Lots of food has NM touches. Sometimes I just want straight up Eggs Benedict w/out chile or carne adovada. My vegetarian partner said too meat centric. On Sunday morning the line was too long for my taste, We didn't stay.

Yelp
This is a quaint restaurant tucked into a small strip mall, but has expansive space once you enter the. You order before sitting down to eat and that is fine. My wife had pancakes with fruit and cream, and I had a breakfast burrito. Both meals were very good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was interesting and unique.

Yelp
Fun little stop, on the lower floor. Bring your jacket as it gets chilly with the door opening often. Order at the counter and they will bring the food out to you. They also will bus the table too. We ordered fresh OJ, duck hash, avocado toast with some red peppers, granola and yogurt, farm salad, a latte with oat milk too. $60.41. The fresh OJ looks dark, it's good. The latte is simply flavored by the oat milk, it's not bad here. The granola with the almond milk, strawberries, apple slices, honey, dried cranberries and blueberries is tasty, the granola is a bit skimpy, but nice accompaniments. The farm salad is just so-so, as was the avocado toast, it lacked some in flavor for both of us. The pickled red onions are crunchy and good at least and crushed red pepper helped some. The duck hash took the lead of all of our food this morning, front and center. It's quite flavorful, savory, starchy from the cubed potato. A lot going on and a great marriage of flavors and textures. The red chili and green chili gave this dish great kick of heat and made me not want to share my dish too. Feels a bit healthier from the slices of Brussel sprouts. I would come back for the duck hash again and again.

Yelp
This place was so damn good omg! There was a 40 ish wait for us to get our food but it was totally worth it. Our first time in New Mexico and the food wasn't hitting for us until we came here! I'd come back for the potatoes alone. Everyone was so sweet and we will be back when we come back to NM!

Yelp
The food was amazing! I got the American breakfast! I have to get a single pancake wherever i go and really appreciate that you can sub you toast for a single cake! The housemade sausage was delish. But caution not to order if you dont like it a little on the sweeter side. The home fried potatoes are sautéed with garlic and i requested fried hard and to add sautéed onions as well.. yummy! That pancake was everything i wanted it to be! The best meal i had in New Mexico!!! Lost a star (wish it couldve only been a 1/4 of a star deduction) because i did have to send a item back. Definitely come to this place to eat!!!!!

Yelp
Came from out of town to sit and eat breakfast with my family based on the good reviews and how close the restaurant was to our airbnb. The building was incredibly hot and packed. The line was out the door to order. We stuck around and it took just over an hour to receive our food. There wasn't a table available for our party of 7 so we had to get the food to go. Luckily everything tasted great and we enjoyed the food despite the long uncomfortable wait in line/outside in the sun.
