Industrial-chic bar with art installations & a big back garden attract locals for cocktails & beer.
"Greenpoint bar the Springs, which had been open since 2018, closed this month, according to Greenpointers." - Emma Orlow
"If Rolf’s is like a Martha May Whovier joint, then The Springs is more of a Charlie Brown Christmas. This Greenpoint Bar goes all out every year with their Holiday Lounge pop-up, when they fill the whole space with a hodgepodge of lights, trinkets, and stockings at every booth. The whole thing feels a bit more scrappy (and far less crowded) than the spectacle of Rolf’s, like it’s a labor of love they’ve gifted to their Greenpoint regulars. Come during Happy Hour for a spiked hot cocoa and other special holiday cocktails, and check their Instagram to see when Santa is stopping by for a nightcap this month. " - neha talreja

"When: Weekdays, 4-7pm The Deal: $4 Bud Light And Narragansett; $10 Glass Of Wine; $10 Cocktail Of The Day; $8 Well Shot; $8 Well Drinks; $6 Craft Beer Of The Day If it's nice out and you're within walking distance of Greenpoint, go to The Springs. This bar has a massive backyard, and it's a highly underrated warm-weather spot." - Team Infatuation
"If you want to have an outdoor group hang in Greenpoint, but you don’t want to deal with massive crowds, try The Springs. We aren’t saying it won’t be crowded—but it shouldn’t be that crowded. The huge backyard with trees and couches makes up most of the bar and is Palm Springs-themed, which is just a little bit cheesy. On the bright side, they allow dogs in their backyard, and you probably have at least one friend who will appreciate how photogenic this place is." - Team Infatuation
