"Mesa’s Asian District has quickly become a beacon for some of the best culinary destinations in the entire Valley, but the Stone Tofu House stands out. Skip the familiar Korean barbecue options and head to this former IHOP turned Korean soondubu restaurant. Its homemade tofu is decadent — soft and flavorful — whether it appears in soups, salads, or as a side dish. When temperatures soar, the bibim naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles tossed in sweet-spicy chile gochugaru sauce) offers refreshing relief; for those in the know, a hot bowl of samgyetang (a whole chicken stuffed with sweet rice, chestnut, garlic, jujube, and ginseng) provides a contrasting approach, cooling the body by warming it from within. The banchan are varied, pairing well with favorites like the beef bulgogi hot pot, which brims with marinated beef, vegetables, tofu, and noodles." - Mcconnell Quinn, Chris Malloy, Nikki Buchanan

Our family has been a big fan of this restaurant's tofu soup. Today, we decided to try the seafood tofu hot pot, and we were extremely satisfied. The variety of fresh seafood, homemade tofu, and the light yet flavorful broth were all fantastic. Highly recommend it! This restaurant is always friendly and clean. I'm also impressed by how they hygienically manage the utensils and offer a variety of side dishes. We're so grateful to have such a healthy restaurant in our neighborhood

Came to this location about 3 on a Saturday for my Wife’s birthday. There were only a few table occupied, but service was terrible it took the servers 15 minutes just to come to our table to give us water. They didn’t provide any side dishes while we waited for our food. We waited an addition 25 minutes before our food arrived. Food was good but for the cost it should have be great. I ordered the Korean short ribs with Tufu Soup. Ribs tasted good but had a lot of fat soup was fine cost was 30 dollars. During our meal we had to ask for our free side dish and had ask for water the waitress or waiter didn’t come over. Side dishes cost 3 dollars after the first one. First Korean restaurant I’ve ever had to pay for side dishes. I would recommend this place. There are better Korean restaurant with better service and free side dishes for the price I paid. Do you have more than six people they charge 18% gratuity even if you’re not happy with their service.

Small menu of high quality korean dishes. Excellent beef bulgogi bibimbap with crispy rice in a searing hot stone bow. Service was quick, polite, split our bills.

Google
Don't be fooled by the parking lot. This place is pretty popular. It gets foot traffic because of its proximity to the light rail and Asian markets. The beef bulgogi with cheese was really good. The restaurant was clean, modern, and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend trying!

Google
Although not too steep a cost, this place does have a bit of a price tag, however, the price tag is worth it as you get a lot of what you pay form. The restaurants atmosphere and style are a lot more reminiscent of restaurants in South Korea and feels very clean. A very mid to high end formal dining. The food is great. Everything felt like it was made with great and fresh ingredients and thus everything felt a lot more elevated. The banchan were wonderful, however the fishcakes felt a bit lacking. The seaweed was my favorite. The tofu in the soup is homemade making them feel like little luxurious clouds. The broth on the soondooboo was flavorful and tasted like it was stewed with all the meats. The rice was fresh steamed purple with hobak. Everything just was done with purpose and intent it felt. This is probably not too dissimilar to how a king would eat.

Google
It was hot out (of course) and I wanted some cold noodles. Super glad that I was able to order Kong-Gutsu, since it's not something I've seen offered at many korean places. I like the flavor of soybeans and soy milk, so I thought this dish is great. Nice thick "broth" and comes with a jar of salt to season to your liking. The banchan that comes with it is also very good. Even if you don't finish/drink the broth, this is a lot of food and left me pretty stuffed. If I could say anything, the broth could have used more added nuttiness flavor and it would be cool if it came with some large ice cubes to keep the dish even colder.

Google
Phenomenal restaurant!! Staff is super friendly and the bbq is excellent. I would recommend the la style ribs and spicy pork belly. I love the Bachchan they bring out as well as the variety of tofu soups they offer. I have been thinking of this restaurant non-stop. I had to go back after week after my 1st visit!!

Google
This place has amazing feel, the entrance has double doors which makes it really unique feel coming in. The booths were all clean and nice. The food came quickly and tasted really good. Make sure to get a dish with tofu to try their home made tofu. It’s excellent and one of their kimchi had soybean pulp so I think it’s the leftover from the tofu making process which of so is amazing.

Mina W.

Yelp
Amazing food! Every single dish was delicious just how I remember from Korea. Also I love their kimchi so I had to buy a jar from them. We are definitely planning on eating there again.

Jim T.

Yelp
Whoever dares give this place less than five stars must be out of their mind. Seriously. This is hands down the best Korean food we've had in ages. Order the combo, it's a steal--tender beef bulgogi, seafood tofu soup, and stonepot purple rice, all for the price other places charge for just one dish. We also tried the japchae and bibimbap, and both were excellent. You just can't go wrong. Wow

Aron J.

Yelp
This place came up when I was looking for some tofu soup. Restaurant has a lot of seating and when I went in the middle of the afternoon was not busy. I went with the beef bulgogi combo because I wanted some soup as well and was a great decision. The side dishes, soup and bulgogi all were amazing and what I was looking for. The servings were pretty big as well.

Amy F.

Yelp
Recommend: Yes. Definitely a popular place for everyone. (It was packed when we got there) Food: everything was really good. Only thing was their beef bulgogi in our hot pot was not very pleasant to look at since it was in clumps. The beef bulgogi was actually more of a sweet hot pot than savory. Service: Good, not really any complaints, a little slow but wasn't horrible. Ambiance: since it was packed, we got seated in the back in a separate section. Wasn't the best place to sit and stare at toilet paper at the end of the wall lol.

Yelp
The Korean food here is amazing! We loved everything we ordered. The portions are huge, so not only did we leave full, but we also got to take leftovers home. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it perfect for both small and large groups. The service is quick, and our food came out fast. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be back!

Len L.

Yelp
The food was delicious, home made Korean style. Lots of meat dishes as well as vegetarian ones. Soups were amazing too, no wonder there's always a line waiting for tables. You can call ahead if your party is 2, no need for a party of 6. Mostly a couples place with the youngsters. Management could improve by hiring more wait staff. Service was a tad slow but made up by the delicious food! Overall a high rating review!

Roceleigh E.

Yelp
Fast service and very welcoming. The seafood tofu soup will be my repeat item to order. The purple rice with the kabocha pieces was a pleasant surprise. I ask myself why am I not already making that at home? No need, I'll just come back to your restaurant. But seriously I'm inspired to recreate the purple rice at home because of you guys!

Tracy T.

Yelp
Overall all a pretty good experience. It was not busy at all on a Sunday evening. I was able to easily make a reservation online for six of us, but I didn't need to - there were plenty of tables. I did appreciate the ease of making a reservation. Service was attentive but not particularly personable. Which was ok. The food came out quick and piping hot and everything was fresh. The beef bulgogi was super tasty, and the sides were as well, but over all the beef bulgogi bibimbap could have used more flavor. So, all in all was pretty good but not exciting enough to entice me back.

Steve G.

Yelp
Great food and nice atmosphere service is cool with a robot but you pay for it as the food is quite pricy...

Yelp
A friend of mine chose this spot for our group dinner recently, due to the convenience of the location and how casual it is. We came in on a Friday night for a party of eleven and they were able to accommodate us immediately. After looking over the menu, we decided to start off with an order of the mung bean pancakes, two orders of the seafood pancake and some fried dumplings to share. The mung bean pancakes were okay, wasn't a fan of the texture. The seafood pancake had a nice crisp to it, wasn't soggy at all. Unfortunately, it was a bit too fishy for our preferences. The fried dumplings were decent, hard to go wrong with. For our main entrees, most of us decided to get our own soup with a meat dish to share in the middle. Our shared meat dish was two orders of the LA style ribs. The taste was on point, the meat was of average quality. For my soup, I got the seafood soft tofu soup with a side of the purple rice. The taste was good, not too bland, not overwhelmingly spicy. The seafood was adequate in quality and size. No small, shriveled shrimps here! The purple rice, however, was a bit too mushy. The side dishes were probably the most disappointing part of the meal, taste and quality-wise. Overall, the food was okay. Nothing amazing that would make me want to immediately go back again. Service was friendly, just a bit slow.

Emily L.

Yelp
Decent spot if you're looking for affordable Korean food without a wait! After arriving on a Friday night, we were seated immediately and happily snacked on a delicious fried dumpling appetizer as we waited for our friends. Utensils and napkins were conveniently at the side of our table, making it easy to grab more without calling someone over. For our meal, we ordered a combo, which we found to be a great amount of food for two! The spicy pork was delicious -- well-marinated but not too spicy -- and I loved the inclusion of purple rice topped with sweet potato bits. The sundubu is a little lackluster, which is a bit disappointing for a "tofu house." They strangely don't use silken tofu (almost seemed medium firm), so it gets pretty crumbly, and the flavor is good but not quite there compared to other Korean spots. The banchan is alright -- some options better than others -- but you'll have to pay $3.99 for a refill, which doesn't come with a lot. Overall, I would definitely prefer other Korean spots in the area, given all the options nowadays. However, it's worth trying the KBBQ meats here.

Ashley K.

Yelp
Ambiance is very nice inside. The outside doesn't make it look like it but an old dennys but inside is very nice and clean. Service was good. We were sat immediately and a few minutes to wait before we got to place order. Staff were friendly and helpful Food was great! Everything came out steaming and boiling. If this place wasn't so far from where we live, we would come back more often!

Yelp
My two favorite things together in a combo (ribs + soup), I'm all in ! The LA Gali ribs was tasty paired with the rice with pumpkin. Plus, a hot tofu soup with an egg !! I could eat this everyday, it is so hearty and filling. Their banchan was also amazing, especially the braised potatoes. Our food came out quick and our server was super friendly. The sesame fried tofu was also very tasty with the dipping sauce. Inside is nicely lit and welcoming. Will for sure want to come back the third time!

Betty T.

Yelp
Was on my own for dinner (solitude=I can eat whatever I want and as much as I want) and picked tofu soup since I had a craving. This place had great reviews so naturally I had to check it out. I ordered a combo with galbi...and also noticed they charged for side dish refill. Highlights: - Side dishes are NOT worth paying to refill. I tried all of the dishes and they were all lackluster. - The galbi was not grilled over a flame...just...no... - Tofu soup was missing some oomph flavor. - The rice to soup and galbi proportion was off. I'm trying to consider the fact that it's AZ and the Asian food is just not at a high level yet - but COME ON, FREAKING HMART IS ACROSS THE STREET! HMart is like the holy Grail of Korean supermarkets in the US, there's no excuse to not get the ingredients or tools you need to get the right flavor profile. This place actually made me thankful for BCD - a chain which I usually consider as my last resort go-to.

Yelp
Honestly, the food was amazing, and the quality was exceptional! I absolutely loved the vibe and the restaurant setup :) Tonight, I was really craving intestines, and I must say, I LOVED THE FLAVOR AND TEXTURE. We also ordered tofu soup, roasted intestines, spicy intestines, and a purple sticky rice dish. All of these dishes are easily 10/10. My compliments to the chef. However, I have to rate it 4/5 because of the host/server who had a name beginning with an R. When we arrived at 8:55, she initially said, "We are closed," but then changed her mind with a roll of her eyes. Normally, I could overlook this since I understand people get tired, but she continued to complain the whole time we were there. At 9:25, she loudly and aggressively said on the phone, "Yeah, I'm going to turn off the AC to get these people going," even though we still had 30 minutes before closing. She kept yelling across the restaurant to her coworker, making our experience even more awkward. We asked our kind server to turn on the AC as we started sweating, and R grudgingly did so, saying, "I'm only turning it on because she asked." I want to emphasize that despite R, the food was amazing, and the other server, who wasn't the server with the R name, was fantastic. I really enjoy the environment here; it was just that one server. In the future, I hope R realizes that some of us work late/ graveyard shifts and come to restaurants to spend time together. It's nice to find a place open later than having to resort to fast food. I try to sympathize because everyone has off days, but please don't take annoyance and anger out on customers. Despite the service hiccup, my group left by 9:55 and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food. I'll definitely be back :) This place is definitely worth visiting!

Yelp
Sundays are easy and restful days. We wanted something warm and tasty that was semi healthy so we chose our favorite tofu spot. Today, I tried the miso tofu soup and the husband picked dumpling tofu soup both were amazing options. The dumpling tofu has a nice spicy kick, dumpling filled with pork. The miso tofu soup was salty, delicious and had that umami I was craving. The purple rice is always a nice treat- fluffy, nutty and perfect. Banchan today was on point, favorites are the seaweeds and fish cakes ! Affordable, fast and the place is clean and open. Has that mom and pop shop feel. The servers were really good as well so no complaints.

Sonia C.

Yelp
Great food and reasonable prices. The seafood pancake was delish, and tofu soup was delightful!

Christian J.

Yelp
Best Korean spot I've been to in the Phoenix area. I've had multiple dishes here including the soft tofu soup, galbi, bulgogi, and everything was delicious. The banchan is always fresh and tastes good. And their rice is cooked perfectly. My go to spot any time I'm craving Korean.

Erik C.

Yelp
The absolute best soondubu in Arizona, better than I've had in Ktown and the owners are the kindest people who put their whole hearts into their business and their food. All of the touches were thought of and authentic from the rice pots to napkin and silverware drawers. We will be back many times

Kat V.

Yelp
We love the combo. We can get the meat and the tofu soup at the same time. I like the way they cooked and served the purple rices. They are delicious and you can get some crispy rices if you left them in the bowl for a while. I was not sure so I got medium spicy for soon tofu soup. Next time I will get the spicy one. Then I will know that I can get the extra spicy or not. They are busy on the weekend lunch but the parking lots are not full. The food comes out fast. We got the whole pitcher of water to refill ourselves.

Dwayne O.

Yelp
The Stone Korean Tofu House LA Style Ribs Combo (#C1) is a skillet of Galbi Short Ribs that comes with a choice of soft tofu soup or noodles. I chose the soft tofu soup and came with an egg, arrived in a boiling bowl. Adding the egg thickened the soup base tremendously, which was okay if that is the way you prefer. Personally, I enjoyed it. The entree also comes with a bowl of purple rice, which was slightly strange, stiff, and unflavorfull. It is actually quite a meal and highly recommend. Galbi Short Ribs were very good, good individual portion, great flavor and combined with the tofu soup was very filling. Service was great, the soup was brought out, but looked and smelled spicy, but the chef was good enough to switch to a non-spicy soup for all 5 of us! That definitely earned some stars and a note to other future customers. Really enjoyed our meal and will be back

Robert H.

Yelp
This place was pretty amazing. They had me when I learned they made tofu fresh every day. When we dined we met one of the owners and she was so nice and explained about the process of making tofu. We tried the pan fried tofu and then also the hot dishes with tofu. Everything was amazing and I will go back for sure.

Catherine N.

Yelp
Let me just say that I love Korean purple rice so you know that this place started off strong. They had such interesting rice steamer pots imported from Korean. The meats were so flavorful and tender, I wished it had more of a char and smoky flavor. The soups were so warm and hearty. The soups had zucchini in it, always nice to be healthy and have some veggies. The workers are so nice and the service was so welcoming and fast. I'm craving this as I'm writing the review omg

Kristen L.

Yelp
We were greeted right away and seated promptly. Their inner door opened with a little push button. The place seemed clean when we arrived. They have the utensils and napkins in little drawers under the table. You scan a QR code on a placard on the table and use your phone to look at the menu. The outside of the restaurant is a little scary, especially the signage that mentions people breaking into your car. Other than that, they have a nice wide open parking lot. It seems like they change out the banchan sides quite frequently. It would be nice to choose our own banchan sides either from what they are offering that day or from a set list of banchan. I felt bad that we wasted some food because we didn't like the way it tasted just due to personal preferences like someone simple not liking the flavor or texture of something like olives. They were not serving olives that day and I doubt they use olives. Then again, as others have mentioned, they sometimes don't give you a lot of banchan in the first place. We got only two pieces of broccoli. Otherwise some banchan they have is really tasty. I think their tofu soup is pretty good. Their spicy pork dish is a little sweet and maybe not too flavorful. I think their beef bulgogi dish was better. Their rice is good. They have purple rice with a little garnish of some squash on top. Service is a little slow after being seated. They made the tofu in house I hear. It is different than the one that I am used to. It is good. They have tvs showing a video of how it gets made.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Staff was kind & food came out relatively quickly. Came for a weekday lunch. Wasn't the best Korean food I've ever had, but I wonder if that's just the nature of sundubu here. Seafood soft tofu soup - Comes so hot it's boiling, but once it cools you'll taste it's not very special. Tofu is crumbling away and shrimp used has been in soup so long that it's tougher than I'd like. Comes with nutritional purple rice cooked in a small pressure cooker that had great texture. Banchan was disappointing. I like a fermented kimchi, but just a little bit of fresh kimchi was provided. We also had a fish paste(?), cucumber salad, fish cake, and some other pickled veggies. Overall food was okay. Probably won't be back.

Christine G.

Yelp
I love this place! Went here with my family and we got the ribs, spicy pork bulgogi, tofu seafood soup, spicy cold noodles, and beef bulgogi bibimbap. The meat was delicious as always, and the seafood soup broth was okay but it came with so much seafood which was a nice plus. The cold noodles are by far my favorite dish here. I order them every time. The bibimbap was the most disappointing out of everything we ordered, and I would not order it next time. Additionally, the service here is decent and the inside is always nice and clean!

Andy P.

Yelp
We were in town visiting and wanted to take a break from corporate America food options. Korean was mentioned and we made it happen. When visiting this establishment, there are plenty of parking. That's always a plus. Upon walking in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and sat us immediately. Right then, you can smell the delicious aroma of the dishes filling the air. The seafood pancake here is one of the best I have had. If you are going in a group, should opt for that as an appetizer. It is filled with protein and be mindful on what you want to order as an entree. Family style is usually best for these establishments. As you can see from our dishes, we chose the combos. For three people, it was a lot of food. My cold noodle and bulgogi hit the spot on all cylinders. Co-worker was giving up meat for the month, so he opted for the Kimchi Bibimbap. Flavor was amazing! He tried corn cheese for the first time and it blew his socks off. I have a feeling he's going to develop a crave for it one of these nights. The staff that service us was nice and made some recommendations. They know best when it comes to go to items on the menu. Overall, we love food, service, and experience. Can't wait to come back and visit this establishment and try other items with a bigger group.

Dan C.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. I like the seafood pancake. Had the BBQ Bulgogi which was served rice and tray of Kimchi and other goodies. Definitely recommend for Korean and the homemade tofu.

Tina B.

Yelp
TASTEY TASTEY!!! The restaurant is clean, friendly, & inviting. Great air circulation. Kept us cool from the heat while keep the air fresh so you don't feel like your in a hot pot. The menu is simple, but the flavors are complex & so satisfying. Sweet, tangy, crisp, & fresh. Cold noddle soup where have you been all my life! My fab dish for sure. My daughter & I split the salad & combo (bulgogi & cold noddle soup) and walk away full and with happy tastebuds! Five stars for good prices, friendly service, nice atmosphere, & delicious flavors!!

Mina R.

Yelp
They have authentic Korean puncheon, side dishes, and their service is great. The kimchi spicy tofu was delicious. Similar to what I grew up with . I will definitely be coming here again during my next visit.

Andre K.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out. We ordered the Kalbi and Bulgogi with soup. All the food was very tasty. The place has a modern design and is not noisy which is a plus. Servers were very nice.

Justin L.

Yelp
Rain or shine, I'm ordering soft tofu soup. Even in 80° weather! I wish I could eat fry bread tacos everyday. But for our last dinner in Arizona, we made the mature decision to pick something "healthier". This restaurant was conveniently located in a plaza across from the H Mart I just visited. They're in own little corner building in a large plaza, so parking is very plentiful. I saw some umbrellas and tables on their outdoor patio, but it wasn't in use. There's a good amount of seating inside; most had partitions for a bit of privacy. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday night, but they were understaffed. It took a while for someone to come over and lead us to our table. No paper menus here, pull out your phone and scan the QR code on the wall: https://thestonetofuaz.netlify.app/qr/ Side dishes (banchan AKA 반찬) were average, you get one plate for free and it comes with six different options. Refills are $3.00; I understand they have a business to run, but thought it was important to point out because Korean restaurants traditionally don't charge for more sides. They say each plate serves up to three people, but it felt like the portions were better suited for two. Beef Soft Tofu Soup (sogogi soondubu AKA 소고기 순두부) came with lots of soup... not so much beef or tofu. The pieces of meat were tough to chew. No complaints on the tofu consistency, it was soft as expected. The soup came with assorted vegetables like onions and zucchini. Spice level was tolerable and the purple rice was fine. Overall not bad, 3.5 stars taste-wise. Rounded down for cutting corners.

Kevin A.

Yelp
8 of us kicked out because they don't serve korean customers? wow! Restaurant owner was rude and tried to speak a broken english to us. "I no serve korean" her words. Worst part? She is korean also... sad!

Doreen G.

Yelp
Came in here and ordered two combos: brisket and intestine tofu stew, and the beef bulgogi and spicy cold noodles. The brisket and the beef bulgogi were absolutely delicious! The brisket was tender and fatty- both were cooked to perfection. The intestine tofu stew was a miss/hit! The flavors were there 10/10. Tofu was super soft and made in house. However, the intestines themselves were not cleaned as properly as I would have wanted, as there was a rough sandy texture every time I tried it. I also wish it was a little bit more spicy! It came with purple rice which was delicious!!! The cold noodles were also amazing- nothing too special but still hit the spot! The ban Chan could have been a little bit better- the kimchi was meh. The service was amazing! Our server was the sweetest! He made sure to make us feel not rushed! The restaurant on the inside is interesting... reminds me of a typical Korean restaurant! Definitely would try again!

Samuel W.

Yelp
One of the best in town. The tofu is made in house so it's insanely fresh and creamy. Service is awesome.

Jericho N.

Yelp
I've been to California's popular BDC Tofu. This place is just as good or even better. The tofu might be better at BDC, but for the price and quality that you get here makes it a fantastic place to get Korean tofu soup. At an insanely better price than BDC! Great service too!

Steven B.

Yelp
Amazing staff, very attentive and kind. We started with the seafood green onion pancake which was so good. The squid pieces were seasoned well and the pancake was crispy. Kimchi soft tofu soup is flavorful, hot, medium spice, and perfect The beef bulgogi bibimbap was fresh and perfect combo of textures. The galbi ribs are sweet and tangy and easily bitten off the bone. Finally the cheese pork bulgogi was creamy and delicious.

Germaine N.

Yelp
Had a great Korean meal here. Great value for the quality of food and the ban chan. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Best short ribs in town. Pancake was amazing. Lots of left over for the next day.

Emily H.

Yelp
I've been here twice and have enjoyed both times! The restaurant is clean and the service was friendly and quick. - LA style ribs and spicy pork bulgogi was delicious and came with rice. - Dumpling soft tofu soup was better than tofu seafood hot pot in my opinion, but there was a ton of seafood. I would order seafood soft tofu soup next time if they have that. The soft tofu soup comes with purple rice which was cool. - Cold noodles was good and refreshing. My first time trying that and it didn't disappoint. - Beef bulgogi bibimbap was definitely a disappointment. It lacked flavor, would not order again.

Nehrwrodrbote R.

Yelp
I found the Stone Korean Tofu House to be very spacious and bright. Probably really good for groups. My tofu salad was pretty basic with a set of cubed firm tofu with some light dressing settled at the bottom with sliced cucumbers. The sauce wasn't overbearing but it also didn't "wow" me. The tofu itself didn't burst with flavor but I could taste the sauce just lightly enough to let me know SOMETHING was in there. Service was good enough to let us know they were paying attention to us but again, not overbearing or in any kind of "wow" kind of way. Several of my party had the Beef Bulgogi and the consensus was that it was good, but lacked a certain something - just maybe a little spice/flavoring kick to make it stand out. The tray sample of kimchee and fish cakes were plenty for our group of 6 and we probably could have been fine with just one of those (we had 2!).

Victoria T.

Yelp
My sister and I split the kalbi combo and it was a good portion for the both of us! We also got the seafood pancake and corn cheese and they were delicious. We didn't get to sit in the nice wooden booth area but it was nice that they have it - wished the whole restaurant was like that. Service was nice.

Christa M.

Yelp
We wanted to eat some real good Korean food and we found this place nearby. We arrived around lunch time and it was surprisingly empty. The waiter quickly sat us down and dropped off menus. The food we ordered was bland and definitely not our favorite. Service was pretty slow even though they were not busy. There many other Asian food places nearby that we could've gone to instead. The inside was clean and the modern décor was nice.

Yu W.

Yelp
The food here has a very nice presentation. Not bad and not distinguish tofu soup just like most Korean places; The purple rice is probably one of the best I've ever had; Very friendly service; Now is my number two favorite Korean place in the valley.

Becky K.

Yelp
This was a nice local Korean restaurant I visited in Mesa while visiting for work. If you're looking for some hot Korean comfort food at a casual spot, this place is for you!

Tedan H.

Yelp
The food is really good and especially their black rice that's pressure cooked. There was only two server at the time when we visited so it took sometime to get the food, but it was worth the wait!

Yelp
I came here on my birthday for the first time ever and it did not disappoint! I am fully vegan, my husband only eats chicken for meat, and my parents eat all types of meat. We started with a crispy tofu appetizer and they got some sort of fish pancake. My husband and I shared the tofu hot pot and it was SO good! we brought some home and it was even better the next day. There were large portions and our server was kind and was able to tell us what was vegan friendly or not. We will be back! The restaurant is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the table we were seated at and the other patrons seemed happy as well.

Yelp
I was absolutely blown away by the options the restaurant offered. Our server was very kind. My favorite was the pancakes they have. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Honestly just wanted to preserve ban Chan and would have paid for a full meal for it but they said I couldn't do that which makes no sense but fine don't take my money then

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean food spots! I love their combos that come with protein, soup, and rice. I don't normally like tofu, but I love this restaurant's!
