Pizza, burgers, salads & soft serve offered in 1980s-inspired digs with a full bar & arcade games.
"The StopAlong is perfect for grabbing some pizza or a burger and getting a healthy dose of nostalgia. This place is decorated with colorful paintings of superheroes eating fast food, a full line-up of He-Man action figures, and even a couple of arcade games. But while the retro atmosphere is fun, and the pizza is pretty good (our favorite is the All The Right Moves with hot honey, spicy tomato sauce, and pepperoni), their Stop-In burger is the main draw. The well-seasoned patties are nicely charred and topped with American cheese, tangy special sauce, and caramelized onions." - john ringor, adrian kane, nick allen
"Dining alone can mean you’re left with nothing but yourself, your burger, and existential thoughts like, “What if we’re all in a simulation?” But if you want a break from dystopian dread, the StopAlong’s fun retro space can keep you distracted. This spot is decorated with paintings of superheroes eating fast food, a full line-up of He-Man action figures, and even a couple of arcade games. But while the nostalgic atmosphere is fun, their Stop-In burger is the main draw. And if their well-seasoned, nicely charred patties topped with American cheese, tangy special sauce, and caramelized onions are actually part of a simulation—well, that’s totally fine." - john ringor, veda kilaru
"The StopAlong’s bright, retro dining space is full of old Star Wars memorabilia, arcade games, and cartoon paintings of superheroes stuffing their faces with pizza and burgers. And you should do the same because their Stop-In is one of the city’s best smashburgers. The two patties have a great char with just the right amount of saltiness, and they’re perfectly complemented by caramelized onions, pickles, and a tangy combo of special sauce and melty cheese. Everything is neatly held together by a large toothpick standing proudly in the middle of the brioche bun, but don’t bother trying to eat this cleanly—this is a messy one." - adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru

"Kids these days may not know much about the pop-culture glory of the ‘80s and ‘90s, but a visit to family-friendly pizza and burger spot the StopAlong will help fill in that vital knowledge gap. Key references include the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, along with tons of classic toys and arcade games. Check out the wide selection of New York-style pizzas and boozy beverages for grown-ups. They’re soon opening a second location in Logan Square." - Ashok Selvam, Naomi Waxman
