If I could award Tides Market more than five stars I would in a heartbeat ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We rocked up on a Monday afternoon not knowing what would be open on Main Street, and one looks at the menu made our mind up that this was our kind of place ✅ Seriously impressive craft beer list, from breweries in Safety Harbor that I hadn't heard of before. Both the blonde lagers I tried were excellent with the seafood. The seafood platter was huge. Two generous lobster 🦞 tails perfectly cooked: genuinely the best I have enjoyed in years. Cooked by someone who knows how to do it properly and excellent seasoning 😋 Mrs B loved the crabs legs 🦀 I loved the shrimp 🦐 and a proper spicy marinara sauce at last (a few weak ones elsewhere this trip). The tuna tartare was divine. Excellent fresh tuna expertly prepared 😍 We took our time enjoying this feast as the sun set 😎 Best part of two hours well spent. Outstanding service throughout 👏 Very highly recommend Note even on a Monday Tides got busy after 7pm, so a reservation for peak hours would be wise (we got in early as a walk up)

We enjoyed a great lunch at an accessible height table near the window with a city view. My grouper was delicious with a butter garlic dip on the side and micro green garnish. My friend loved the huge bowl of mussels with extra grilled bread for dipping in the juice. Sweet tea and insweet ice tea are bottled and brewed locally The venue offers a market of upscale take home items from jams, pickles, teas, and doggie snacks. The fresh fish display, meat display, and charcuterie meats are at accessible level Besides the accessible indoor tables, they offer a semiprivate large table for groups and a lovely outdoor patio with umbrellas. Menus are laminated with white background and dark letters and readable with good contrast Minimal background noise Adequate lighting Accesible restroom with 2 grab bars and 2ftx 6 ft space With diaper changer. Writing this review still sitting at my table because The Tides blows it out of the water (pun intended) The food is top tier, best bite to eat in Safety Harbor, arguably Pinellas. The service is world class. We’re celebrating my mom’s birthday here and the entire staff hand wrote and signed a birthday card for her. Erica was phenomenal, personable, genuine, witty. Bob Gourmand sells this place short. The Tides should be the benchmark for all restaurants in the area to strive for.

This is a relatively casual place. I’ve been here twice the last couple weeks, and each time, the food was uniformly very well prepared. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is not much inside the restaurant but the space outside in the back is quiet and sublime on a nice warm evening. Great happy hour specials especially on the oysters. Also has a cute store with many quality items. 4.5+ across the board. Highly recommend Tides Market.

My husband and I had lunch at The Tides Market and sat outside. Our server, Erica, was friendly and well informed about the food. I ordered the salmon cobb salad which was so good. The salmon was Norwegian and cooked perfectly, blackened medium. I also ordered Mediterranean quinoa. My husband had the fish and chips and house made slaw. It was delicious and not greasy. I also took home a tuna bowl for my daughter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Erika (with the glitter) made this experience for us. She was fantastic at recommending items and pairing it with the wine we wanted. The food is always delicious, but the service really was what put it over the top. It was so busy and she took the time to walk us through everything and hear about what we like. Stone crabs are in season now and are so delicious! We also had the oysters, grouper, and crawfish pasta dish. We’d come back to be served by here any time!

If you don’t like seafood, I challenge you to try any of their top three fish dishes here and you’ll leave with a radically different opinion. Chef Jon Walker brings a lot of New Orleans-inspired seasoning to many of the dishes, which is a plus IMHO. Everything here is exceptional and made with high-quality locally sourced ingredients. If seafood isn’t your thing, they also offer delicious po’boys (just as good as NOLA) and other great menu items that are also all amazing. Truly a hidden gem in the Tampa Bay area, and I can’t wait for them to earn their Michelin Bib Gourmand which I know is coming! This is one of those spots where you try a dish and are left speechless for a few minutes just appreciating the taste. Thank you Chef Jon Walker for your dedication and amazing cooking.

Our 1st time here and it was awesome!! love that it’s dog friendly so we were able to sit outside with our boy :) they have a front and back porch; after looking at both, we decided to sit in the front porch area our server, (cute girl with the tattoos) was so sweet even brought a bowl of water for our dog! + food and beer was great!! would go back!!

Absolutely amazing food experience. Happy hour there are $1 dollar oysters. Amazing. The seafood and fish are delicious. There's a big market and you can get fresh red meat, stone crabs, and tuna filets. A lot of options. Expensive but high quality stuff.

My food was perfect. I had simple grouper with a side salad. There was nothing I could improve upon. It would be nice if there were more gf options as I would have gotten a starch, but I got bites of other's veg. One person's orzo was cold, but everyone seemed happy with their food. The sandwiches looked amazing. We had a huge square table for our large group of 11-12, including children. We had a great time!

Coming from New Orleans...you know we get to be somehow..judgy Although there's some variations (and thats the point) we Loved it. I have seen Chef and his videos and how he embraces how he and his family enjoy and share it with us Our waitress Erika was the sweetest. So joyful and attentive. The overall vibe was just...happiness. The calamari, on point. Loved the breading, the flavor. The po boy , yes..again, the breading..one of the best we have had since moving to FL The orzo salad, following Chef advice...*Chef kiss* Dirty rice...with a "fancy twist" Loved it The pasta...lovely! And the bread pudding...great. We love you, the tides!

Really really awesome place to go to in Safety Harbor! Fantastic food and fantastic service! Servers are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. Love the ambiance of being part restaurant and part local market. There isn't a ton of seating, so just be aware that on busy weekends, it can be a wait. The food was excellent though. The Po Boy Sandwich was delicious, with super crispy and tender fish. Really excellent portion sizes. The oysters were super fresh and tasted delicious! Be sure to go on their special days when each oyster is only $1! Will definitely be back again :)

This was second visit to The Tides, but the first time I went it was so long ago I can't remember what I got. And I think they updated the menu a bit. To start, this place is a restaurant and a market. It's a pretty open space so it can be kinda loud, but it's not an issue so long as you aren't looking for that. They have indoor & outdoor seating. The menu is primarily seafood so keep that in mind too. Though they do have non seafood I think choosing seafood is the way to go. I was happy to see non-alcoholic beer on the menu too. My server was quick and friendly. I ordered the salad nicoise. It was pitch perfect. The seared tuna tasted like high quality and everything else was cooked perfectly.

We stopped by for lunch. It was busy. The market aspect of the space was great. There was a fish monger with a goodly supply of seafood. For entrees, we ordered the Fried Oyster Po'boy and the Fried Grouper Sandwich. For sides, we got the cole slaw and homemade chips. The Po'boy was awesome with lots of oysters. The Grouper sandwich was just OK. The bun was dry and the Grouper portion was small for the price. However, the po'boy baguette was very tasty. The ambiance was bustling and the service was friendly and speedy.

My friends are obsessed with the $1 oysters on Thursdays nights. We enjoy sitting out front on the picnic tables. The servers are always friendly and food comes out quickly.

Our server was Erika. She was amazing. It was our first time to safety Harbor. What an adorable little place. This restaurant was so good. We enjoyed brunch there. We'll definitely go back plus, it has a cool little market inside as well. Well, worth the ride up there.

Sorry, being very repetitive on how good this restaurant is. If you have not tried the crawfish Arancini appetizer you have to try it. Definitely enough for two people as an appetizer. Even something as simple as fried catfish tastes amazing there. Do not understand how it does not come out greasy, but more like it was broiled, but they say it is fried. My wife had the fish and chips, which has always been an amazing dish. Same old, same old with the service always top-notch. Very friendly and efficient.

The menu is a true seafood lovers dream! Highly recommend if coming for dinner or they have seafood and high end beef counter to bring home your feast!

Facebook and its notorious push notifications get us all connected, for good and bad. In this case, it helped to discover Tides which has its seafood supplied by one of my favorite local seafood market - Lockhart's Seafood at Tarpon Springs. It means fresh off the boat seafood. I went twice for lunch with friends. We shared Grouper Sandwich, Tuna Salad Niçoise, Tuna Fish Bowl, and Tuna Tartare. Each dish was well presented and made with top quality ingredients. I liked Tuna Tartare the best for a light lunch. Minced fresh tuna on top of avocado flavored with spicy sesame oil, decorated with thin sliced cucumber, pickled red onion and broccoli sprouts - a picture perfect dish stimulated my appetite. It was alike eating a spicy tuna sushi roll without rice. Flavor exploded in my mouth. Restaurant is spacious and very clean. Waiters were attentive and accommodated ladies' picky palate. The only complaint I had was the noise. It was very loud in the restaurant which making conversation between friends less enjoyable. They were busy during lunch time. We arrived before 12pm to get seated in time. Parking was a headache for me. I don't do parallel parking well so I circled the streets several times to get a spot. But there are plenty parking at nearby streets if you don't mind walking. You might find new places to explore in the quaint city of Safety Harbor. Bon appétit.

I mean who doesn't love a GREAT happy hour!! I know I sure do, especially when you involve oysters, please & thank you! I first heard about Tides via social media, as everyone else was raving about their happy hour oysters, so I took it upon myself to make my own appearance! When we got there I wasn't sure how they functioned due to also having a "provisions" section. However, they did have a host stand and offered indoor or outdoor seating. We opted for indoor since it was a little warm out. Not to mention the nautical vibes inside. After being seated, we were greeted to be told of the servers favorites, and the happy hour deals! Happy hour is every day, 4-7 pm, includes 15% alcohol & $1 oysters. Yes you heard right, $1 oysters. I'm a raw oyster girl so this was right up my alley. Since this location proud themselves on fresh, quality, and helping small, local businesses, this was a great option for good quality oysters. These were not local, but tasted just as fresh. From VA, these oysters were a little small, but still very good! I probably could've ate 24 instead of 12, but I stopped myself! We also got a side of potatoes and a Caesar salad & both were perfect! I also recommend their house sangria, as it's a light sangria and super tasty. Overall we got out with a cheap dinner and it was beyond tasty! I also recommend checking out their provisions, as it's mainly all organic and local!

For us, we're not big into seafood, and they just had a few options that aren't seafood. The burger was okay but fairly expensive. We liked the chips more than the coleslaw side that came with the burger. We bet the seafood was good though if you like seafood, so this would probably be around a 4* experience. Servers were nice and attentive and food came out pretty quick.

I would say the market is vey good, expensive and bookie. The restaurant brunch on Saturday was a disappointment. We had the crab cakes pretty good, the grouper po'boy, eggs benedict, a cheese burger and a vegetable frittata. Each main about $20. The best was the burger which is a bit sad. Overall average at best. Better to go to Nona's pizza down the street.

We occasionally make our way up to Tampa. For this trip, my wife came up with this restaurant to try. The Tides is Michelin Recognized and in looking over their menu, reasonably priced. I think it was the first time either of us have visited Safety Harbor. Loved walking down Main St, where the restaurant and an ice cream place we stopped at later were located. I'm afraid the restaurant did not live up to my rather lofty expectations. It seemed like a nice place to eat and shop, nothing stood out as special. I've since watched a video on their website and learned they do put in a lot of effort in both areas, so maybe I should have ordered better. Let me run down the issues I had. It was noisy, could use sound dampeners. The décor was mostly artwork (I assume local) for sale. That's not a bad thing but is typical and I was expecting something that stood out more. We were there around 5pm so they still had hours of dinner time to go, yet they were already out of things. I started with their Caesar Salad, it was a disappointment. It had very little dressing, very little cheese, and to me the wrong lettuce. That's subjective. For my entrée I had their Shrimp Scampi, the 5 large shrimps had little flavor. My wife sampled the shrimp and agreed. Things I liked were the vintage dinnerware. I really liked a sample of their Grouper Romesco my wife ordered. I liked the look of a Po' Boy sandwich I saw another table receive. I did like the pasta part of my Shrimp Scampi. Service was fine, I liked that. I liked the location along Main St, small town charm. I liked that we found a parking spot and it didn't cost money. Tides has about 15 tables inside where we ate, some seating outside along Main St, and more seating in an area out back. Even arriving early we did have a few minute wait for a table, popular places are good places. They do not accept reservations for small parties.

This has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area. In summary- this was added to the Michelin guide for a reason. First, if there is one thing you order here- let it be their bread pudding (not pictured). The BEST dessert from any restaurant I've ever had. They switch up the type of bread they use for it so the first time I had it, it was cinnamon pecan. The next, chocolate bread. Served with vanilla ice cream! They have a great $1 oyster happy hour. I must say that the regular/$1 oysters were better than their more expensive ones. (Goldie locks are my fav) Really can't go wrong with anything you order. Just make sure for starters you get the trip dip with extra green tomatoes. Also keep in mind the restaurant is in the middle of a fish market and general store giving it an authentic old Florida vibe with a sprinkle of elegance. They have a ton of their delicious food to go to make or have at home!

We visited The Tides Market for lunch based on strong reviews and a charming location, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the reputation. We ordered the steamed Cajun shrimp, a hamburger with chips, grilled yellowtail snapper with vegetables, and a side Caesar salad. The hamburger was very mediocre, and the chips served alongside were limp and soggy--clearly not fresh. The shrimp and fish were both overcooked, making the texture tough, though the flavors were passable. The grilled vegetables were decent, but nothing memorable. We arrived during brunch hours but were never offered a brunch menu or even water. Service was polite but only average--about a 3 out of 5. The ambiance was initially crowded and a bit hectic, but by around 1:15 it became more pleasant. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating and includes a nicely curated market with quality-looking meats, fresh fish, and dry goods from local providers. For a place with this much fanfare, we expected a much better showing. Sadly, it was a letdown and not something we'd rush back for.

They don't take reservations for the Friday night dinner we went for, so when we arrived we got on their waitlist asap. Then we checked out their in-store market and strolled around the street markets while we waited ~30minutes. Once we were seated, we got their regular menu and their daily specials. Overall, great service and fresh seafood. I will say their regular menu & fried seafood is more enjoyable than their daily specials & grilled fish. We tried: -Fried oysters (with lemon thyme orzo) 5/5, loveee the crunchy batter & creamy texture of the oyster -Crab cake (with coleslaw) 4/5, refreshing coleslaw and the crab cake is a great portion and had a good amount of crab -Grouper Romesco 4/5, love their romesco sauce and the fish was good. I enjoyed that with this dish we also got to try their crawfish arancini! -Grilled Triggerfish with lemon butter 2/5, most disappointed. The blackened exterior of the fish gave good texture but SO SO SALTY. Could barely finish the dish because of that :( -Dirty pecan rice 3/5, this side dish was ok. Definitely got a really crispy browned rice texture but the flavours were lacklustre If I got to reorder and redo our dinner - I would try more of their fried foods. Like the calamari, fish & chips, and po boys (they get their buns shipped daily from New Orleans!). Their shrimps looked like they were huge too and heard good things about their trio fish dips

Bustling seafood restaurant and market with indoor and outdoor seating (we were chilly sitting indoors). We ordered the trout entree and the tuna nicoise bowl. Both were delicious, the trout was perfectly prepared with a smokey garlic aioli on the side. The tuna was seared and avocado was offered as substitute to bacon. Great lunch for freshly prepared seafood! !

The Michelin guide came to town and Tides was the only place near us to get on their recommendation list. I can understand why, they carry loads of local products and seem to care about where all of their food comes from, especially their seafood options. I had high expectations and was a little let down, but I think ultimately 4 stars is fair. We came on a Thursday to celebrate my birthday and to see what the hype is about. There was a 30 minute wait, which I thought was unique for a Thursday night, but it's nice that they have a market attached so the time goes by quick while browsing. We felt like the products were quite expensive but I guess that's what happens when the products are from such small businesses. When we put our name in, we had a choice between inside or out, and just said first available. We got the outside, which ended up being a good option since it was LOUD inside. They should really work on acoustics in there. The ambiance outside was ok, turf grass and tables with umbrellas. The first chair I chose was too close to an umbrella base so I had to climb in. I ultimately chose a diff chair that had my back to most of the outside area and I got a view of the buckets of used oyster shells and some mini golf statues that were strewn about. A bit awkward. I had the blackened grouper sandwich. I thought the seasoning was a little too salty, but otherwise the flavors were great. I also had a side of orzo which was just ok, prob my bad for ordering that since half my family is Greek and make the best orzo. Should've gone with the chips. My husband got the shrimp risotto and sounds like he liked it. I hade a bite, and just thought it was ok. Maybe a bit undercooked, but risotto is difficult. Anyway he said he wasn't a fan of the plates because they looked dated. I didn't mind, maybe they're going for a coastal grandma vibe. Otherwise, it would've been a little nice if they had more of a celebration for bdays. Overall I'm not sure we're running to come back, but was cool to check it out.

Outstanding experience food was delicious very fresh seafood, shrimp and yellow tail flavorful, elegant risotto crazy good dirty rice ! We loved absolutely everything, outdoor seating at lunch time with nice weather November temperatures lovely under the trees friendly neighborhood everyone is really welcoming , staff did a great job we enjoyed our anniversary celebration lunch . Thanks to the manager for visiting our table .the market inside has a variety of incredibly delicious healthy fresh made products.

We had a delicious lunch at the Tides seafood market in Safety harbor. It's a great market with fresh seafood, all-natural meats, locally grown produce that you can purchase as well as the restaurant. There's definitely some New Orleans influence in the food which is fantastic. I had the Mediterranean Salmon dish but I replaced the salmon with yellowtail snapper. It came with tri-color Mediterranean quinoa salad (feta, tomatoes, olives, onion, cucumber), tzatziki, grilled asparagus. The fish was fantastic, perfectly cooked with great flavor. My friend had the classic Risotto with parmesan, herbs and shrimp which was also fantastic. The only thing was that our meals took a very long time to come out, possibly because of the substitution of the fish, but the manager did come out to our table and apologized and we were offered a free dessert which of course we had to accept. We went with the New Orleans style bread pudding with ice cream which was absolutely delicious. Our server was great and the staff was excellent. We sat inside but there a few tables outside in front and a patio area out back. There's a small parking lot in the park and some street parking around the restaurant. They also have Happy hour daily from 4pm - 7pm with $1 oysters and 15% off beer and wine.

I've walked by here every visit to Safety Harbor, but never bothered to step inside. What a mistake I made! The grouper sandwich is amazing...dare I say the best in Tampa? They have a back patio area with additional seating plus a few tables on the Main Street. There's a market full of goodies that I didn't get to try, but I've heard amazing things about what they offer. I plan on coming back during happy hour in the future!

Had a really great experience here for dinner recently! They were very busy, as to be expected, on a Friday night but can put you on a waitlist and they will text you when your table is ready. The restaurant is situated inside a market that sells fresh seafood, fresh produce, local foods and products, gift items, etc. They serve a variety of fresh seafood dishes and drinks (including local craft beers and wines). We both got fried Po boys with homemade kettle chips--my husband, the oyster, and I got the shrimp. The seafood was very fresh, along with the bread and sandwich ingredients. The service was great as well. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other offerings in the future!

We had a party of 8 that we were able to call ahead for. I learned they do not take reservations for parties under 8. The restaurant was packed on Friday at 5:30 but since we had a large party we were seated at a large table in the back where it wasn't too loud to talk amongst each other. Our server Erika was amazing! The food was delicious. I ordered the yellowtail snapper and was so good....had a little bit of a kick to it which I enjoyed. I couldn't even finish my crispy potatoes because my main dish was filling. Definitely would go back. Parking can be tricky depending on timing but I didn't mind the walk.

I get it. I get why they got the Michelin recommendation. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay. We started off with oysters, seared tuna ginger salad, and a blackened grouper sandwich. The seared tuna ginger salad has to be the best salad I've ever had in my entire life. Every ingredient was so fresh, you could taste each one. From the lettuce to the radishes, each flavor work together so well. The tuna was a perfect texture and the dressing was a perfect combination of sweet and tangy to bring the salad over the top. The work it was also a nice little addition while we waited for our table. We ended up getting fresh Florida watermelon. And a delicious cookie by the register.

We had the Tuna Nicoise Salad & the Golden & Red Beet salad. Light, fresh & absolutely delicious. We sat outside in their tranquil patio area surrounded by an herb garden, palms, flowers & a glorious, majestic & old live oak tree. Erica, our waitress, had a lovely personality that was welcoming & entertaining. If you're looking for locally sourced farm to table cuisine, this will soon be a fave. It has its own merch shop stocked with a bounty of locally grown veggies, tasty locally-made tidbits & fresh butchered meats & fish. Not to mention it's in the heart of Safety Harbor's quaint & picturesque village of shoppes & restaurants. We love this place!

Great people and great food. This place is located in downtown safety harbor. Fresh seafood and a market where you can buy fresh fish, vegetables, and meats. They have a nice cafe with seafood focused dishes. The Oyster Po boy I ordered was delicious. Service was stellar. Everyone was very friendly and definitely ensured everything was going great. I would recommend stopping by and look to do so in the near future again.

We have been wanting to try this place out and so glad that we did! We got the Calamari as an appetizer, which was super fresh and crispy and paired really well with lemon and the sauce provided. We also got the Blackened Yellowtail Snapper and the Fish and Chips. The snapper was very juicy and the smokiness paired well with the pecan dirty rice and lemon beurre blanc. The fish in the Fish and Chips was crispy, juicy, and slightly greasy, but it went well with the coleslaw which broke up some of the greasiness. The "chips" were crispy potatoes and seasoned well. Both dishes were wonderful, a good size, and had lots of flavor. The store has the restaurant, a fresh seafood counter, and a market that sells goods from local small businesses. The service of the restaurant was great; the servers were kind and made sure to check in from time to time. We will definitely be coming back to try their other menu items!

This is a complete culinary delight. All items were well thought out, prepared perfectly and reasonably priced.

Great and FRESH seafood. John is doing great work here. Wish we had something like this concept in Baton Rouge. Great atmosphere.

We love this restaurant / market. The food is always amazing with fresh local ingredients thoughtfully prepared. They have inside and outside seating available, we prefer the people watching from the front. Staff is happy to help with selections if you're not sure, I've never had a bad meal at Tides. The meat / seafood market selection is like a bonus after you eat, you can purchase something for another meal - watch the Tides Instagram vids and you can (try) prepare the same food you ordered at home!

On the beautiful strollable shady streets of Safety Harbor is a lovely seafood restaurant and shop. My husband and I went there on Sunday for an early dinner. He ordered the mahi sandwich. Also a Boylan brand soda! I had the fish and chips outstanding piece of mahi on the sandwich as well as two large crispy cod fillets. Home roasted potatoes with a Napa cabbage coleslaw. Happy hour was between four and seven where oysters on the half shell or one dollar each. We got some beautiful oysters from Virginia as well as Massachusetts. Also noticed they have blue point oysters, which is where we are from on Long Island New York service was wonderful open area delightful place sit inside or out. Just know if you sit outside you're gonna have to pet everyone's dog who walks by . We enjoyed the stroll around the market, where everything is home made in Florida. As you walk through the market and locate the backside of it, there is a fresh fish counter. Enjoyable reasonably priced lots of parking on the street Jill, the manager came by to make sure that we were happy which we were ! The restaurant was busy, which I was glad to see on a Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, so try to get there early if you can they are open until nine which is very reasonable for dinner.

Best crab cake at safe Harbor, it was very few fillers. I'll serve her. Erika was very nice. She was a local made. Many suggestions. Also recommended the best items on the menu which we accepted. It just really had what you always want service with a smile.

4.5 stars. Food is excellent. Service was superior. I subtracted half a star because this market is trying and succeeding to be a restaurant...but they need to spin off the market business to a new location so the restaurant can truly thrive. The very minor problems we experienced at this restaurant were mostly space related. Not enough room for diners, and the churn was slow. The market itself is cute and amazing, but the fancy products are being sold at 1.75x retail - they are not moving and are taking up valuable space, quite frankly.

Desiree was my server and did a great job! She didn't try to hurry me and made recommendations. I had the Cajun shrimp and they came out very hot and smelled great. They tasted really good and the sauce was good but i like spicy so I added hot sauce. I had the blackened red snapper and crispy potatoes. It was perfect. Every time that I come to Tampa, this is one of my first stops.

I have been here often. The food Is fresh and delish. I have not been disappointed. Plus you can purchase their fresh fish etc to take home and prices are reasonable.

Another amazing meal (and bought some fresh fish for later) . We enjoyed the beet salad (so tasty), with a side of blackened grouper, the fried green tomatoes and some oysters from Boom, Mass. Wonderful food all around! Staff gets high marks for going above and beyond always.

There is not a nicer spot in Safety Harbor to sit and enjoy a meal. They have the best salmon or tuna bowls in town: the freshest fish, veggies that are A+, sushi rice etc...you'll be spoiled if you love a poke bowl and you wo t want to go anywhere else. The service is always always friendly (sincerely) and attentive. We also love their market inside. Check out their refrigerated section, cheeses, condiments, crackers, flowers and baked goods. It's a gem.

We had heard about Tides for a while and when we finally got the chance to visit it did not disappoint. Safety Harbor has such a great Main Street loaded with restaurants and shops and we love visiting there. We had seen so many reviews of the Shrimp Po' boys and both had to order them. They were the best we have ever had and the upgrade to potatoes was well worth it. We also had the Fried Green Tomatoes and they were excellent. The service was great and even the little market is great. Overall we loved it and can't wait to come back and try some other items, assuming we can resist the po' boys.

Have been a few times, the first was a just okay lunch which put me off for a while but after coming back everything I've tried has been phenomenal. Got the pistachio snapper special and a side of the pecan dirty rice and everyone at the table absolutely loved the snapper. The service is always great so the only downside is that it's usually pretty busy.

This is such a cute restaurant and seafood market. My partner and I have been here a few times and the food is consistently fresh and delicious - and we always receive excellent service. This time, we took advantage of the $1 oyster deal. They give you several different varieties of oysters all marked with little signs telling you which type/location. I particularly appreciate the mesh strainer for the lemon wedges. It's little things like this that can separate good meals from great ones. The oysters were delicious. From the plentiful lobster BLT special to the indulgent crab bisque our meal was perfect. The apple crisp dessert was just, well, flawless. Our server Erika was also excellent. She was attentive and friendly but gave us our space to enjoy our time, too. She really helped to make this experience special.

I'll start with our friendly server Gabby. She is really good in her role. She wants to be there and is so helpful with the menu and specials. We have been here many times and the seafood is so fresh and plentiful. It is also a market with a great meat and seafood case full of items for sale. The sauces on the simple fish dishes are off the charts. The side dishes list continues to grow and they offer so many health choices. They have also added A new seating area out side that is great when the weather allows. You can now sit outside in the front and people watch or pick the new outside section out back. Hats off to the great chefs at Tides who know the right flavors to pair with the best dishes.

The seafood was delicious. We ordered grilled oysters topped with parmesan and breadcrumbs, an Arugula Beet Salad with goat cheese, pistachio, honeycomb, and white balsamic vinaigrette, and grouper bites Po'boy. Grilled Oysters: The oysters were served piping hot off the grill, topped with parmesan and breadcrumbs. Two lemon wedges accompanied the dish, adding a refreshing brightness. The oysters were tasty. Arugula Beet Salad: The salad was impressive! The arugula was served on a bed of colorful orange and purple beets. The honeycomb added a delightful sweetness, the goat cheese was creamy, and the pistachios provided a nutty, crunchy contrast. Grouper Bites Po'boy: The grouper Po'boy was above average. I would have preferred if it was fried a little harder, but I understand it was lightly fried to avoid overcooking the protein. The veggies in the sandwich and the accompanying side slaw added brightness and textural contrast. Service and Ambiance: The service was friendly. However, -1 star for outdoor seating due to the abundance of flies. Continuously swatting flies made the dining experience less enjoyable. I recommend burning citronella tea light candles or using fans to circulate the air and reduce the fly problem. While flies are unavoidable in outdoor dining areas, these minor accommodations could significantly improve the overall experience.

Usually the stand out for me at a restaurant is the food , and while the food here was excellent it was the service that blew me away. The restaurant was fairly busy but if a plate was empty and an employee walked by- ANY employee not just our server, they would grab the plate. Waters empty, they would fill the water. We never wanted for a thing. The service was 5 star. The food was actually really good too. The salmon with lemon beurre blanc sauce was absolutely delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly. They have happy hour from 4-7 with 1$ oysters, we ordered 12 and received a variety of east coast oysters that were delicious. I was not a fan of the pecan rice-it was extremely smoky and just not what I expected. The Tides is situated in downtown safety harbor which is an adorable walkable town. Definitely recommend.

If you've ever read my reviews... You'll know I'm a harsh critic. So, when I start off a review saying... It's PERFECT. You can either stop reading now and go to the restaurant for dinner or stick around to hear about it. So I'll start off by saying... I'm a fan of oysters. But, I'm not a fan of paying full price for oysters. Spending almost 3 dollars each for a tiny little morsel hurts my soul. So when a restaurant has $1 oysters I'm already a fan. This is only for happy hour... 4 PM to 7 PM. The good news... The oysters are fantastic. This is a seafood restaurant without a single hint in the air that it's a seafood restaurant -- No fishy smell anywhere. Not only is that pleasant to be around... But that means fresh seafood. And these oysters were very fresh. My wife and I ordered several rounds of the oysters and ended the evening with some wild caught trout. Absolutely delicious. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Dinner came with fried potatoes and green beans that were equally delicious. I have absolutely no complaints about the food. The service was also top-notch. We were greeted quickly and kindly at the door by the host. Seated quickly. Within moments our server came by and asked us how we were doing and what we would like to start with. Very pleasant and super attentive. Top-notch service. A++++++++
