The 16 Best Vegan Restaurants In Miami

"The Vegan Marie is a vegan restaurant and shop in Little Haiti where the food options change just about daily. It's one of those places where you find out what's on the menu by having a conversation with the chef, who'll happily tell you what they have that day. It could be a spicy seaweed wrap, or a filling platter of legumes, chickpeas, veggie balls, and perfectly ripe Florida avocados. But it'll probably be very tasty. The space is sort of a cross between restaurant, botánica, and market. " - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

Food was fantastic and the service was friendly. Let us sample the juices before ordering one. The chickpea wrap was INCREDIBLE. So flavorful with great texture. It was tasty home cooked food. Highly recommend. I’m excited to go back and try more

We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try vegan Haitian food, especially when served in an awesome funky herb shop. The Vegan Marie is a charming family-run business serving up super tasty food. During our visit, they were serving the spelt wrap filled with various vegetables and legumes. It had tons of flavor and seemed low in oil, which we hugely appreciated. The wrap came with a great dressing that it hardly needed, since the wrap already had so much flavor. It was accompanied by a side salad that was fresh and had a really tasty spicy sweet dressing. We were also offered a taste of the soursop juice which was tart and tasty.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. THE VEGAN MARIE. The BEST PLANTBASED ALKALINE HAITIAN FOOD & Fresh juices IN MIAMI! Hands downs!! You will not be disappointed EVER. Mimi uses Fresh Wild grown Herbs, Legumes, Fruits, and Plants straight from her garden in the backyard. I literally eat here minimum 2 times a week. The juices are made fresh with love and with exotic fruits & alkalizing ingredients like Seamoss, Ginger, Soursop, Passionfruit, Turmeric & so much more!! . . . All the meals are cooked to order, so you have to be patient. This is NOT a Fast Food Vibe at all! Believe me if you know home cooked meals, then you know. & its definitely worth the wait. The shop is currently being re-modeled & updated as we speak so be patient with their process. There is also a beautiful boutique shop with jewelry, clothes, oils, head wraps, vintage collectables & so much more. Don’t be shy & come on by, food is ALWAYS being served!!

Very interesting home style Haitian restaurant with personable hosts and food that tastes like home wherever you are from. Very cool decoration. You are seated on what looks like a big single table for the whole place, and there are some couches too. Also has a little store.

Interesting store in the midst of renovations. They are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food and the soursop ginger drink, which was refreshing and tasty.

I recently dined at The Vegan Marie (TVM) in Little Haiti, and I am thrilled that I chose to go there. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and a unique history, having been previously a thrift store before transforming into a restaurant a couple of years ago. You can tell that a lot of effort went into decorating the walls, which adds to the charm of the place. I ordered the wild rice salad and a lemonade, and I was not disappointed. The food is made from scratch as ordered, and the portion size was generous for the price of $20 per plate, giving me the feeling of value for money. The wild rice salad was fresh and flavorful, with a variety of veggies which was delightful. I appreciated the simplicity and natural flavors of the dish, which showcased the high quality of the ingredients used. TVM takes pride in creating dishes that are fresh and authentic. The lemonade was a refreshing treat, with a strong and tangy flavor of fresh ginger that added a pleasant kick to the drink. I appreciate that The Vegan Marie puts thought into incorporating health-conscious ingredients into their cultural foods, providing a unique twist to the flavors. One of the highlights of my experience was speaking with one of the owners for a while. Despite having previously injured his foot, he initially tried to serve me, but eventually took it easy as he had someone to help. I sincerely hope his foot gets better soon. It was evident that the owners are passionate about their restaurant and take pride in their food and service, as well as their commitment to the community. TVM goes beyond just serving delicious food by hosting events in their backyard space, including poetry nights and Sunday drum circles, which demonstrate their care for fostering a sense of community. Additionally, I liked that they have herbs on-site for purchase, further showcasing their dedication to providing locally sourced and sustainable options. Overall, I would definitely go back to TVM for their delicious food, friendly service, unique atmosphere, and their genuine care for the community. If you're looking for a vegan restaurant with good food in Little Haiti, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

Yelp
The Vegan Marie is a all vegan Hatian restaurant in the Little Hati neighborhood of Miami. Very friendly owner who let me sample two different kinds of juice made in house. This family run restaurant has been around for four years as of March 2025. I love supporting all vegan restaurants whenever possible. This was my first time experiencing Hatian food. I went with the Spelt wrap that was tasty and served in ample portions. It came with a flavorful sauce. It came with a healthy and tasty kale salad. 5 stars for the food yet am deducting one star because when dining out I like to dine in and unfortunately there was limited seating with the only seating being outside the restaurant with two chairs encompassing a small table therefore took my meal back to my guesthouse to enjoy it there. Pro tip: Get your food to go and am sure you will enjoy this unique cuisine!

Yelp
We pulled a u-turn as we drove place this place and saw the word "VEGAN". Stopped in and the man who helped us was so nice. We were able to find some great herbs and soaps to take back with us. Unfortunately we had just eaten but their menu looked great!

Yelp
I love The Vegan Marie. This is my first time having veganized Haitian food, and I already miss it! The owner was super nice and asked if I would like to try the juice he had just made, and I loved it! I came here alone, and the owner came to chat with me, and we discussed our vegan journeys. I would love to come back.

Yelp
So full over color and personality. I needed a quick bite before going to a concert and healthy was the first priority. The salad was delicious but the chick pea wrap was just okay. Overall a lot of fun to visit though. The stalls of herbs and other trinkets were so fun to peruse. Great, small family business vibe.

Yelp
Amazing herbal remedies, kind owners, and very pretty shop. A real authentic miami gem. When I went inside, the workers there seemed so happy to meet me. I was offered samples of many beverages, each one more interesting than the last. The food was great too! I got the warmed began wrap. Highly recommend !!

Yelp
The Vegan Marie is one of the best restaurants in all of South Florida and definitely THE BEST vegan restaurant in all of South Florida!!! Mimi and Immanuel are the most kind and wonderful people. The food is actually healthy and delicious, incredibly generous portions, beautiful ambience, and the most welcoming owners! Very family friendly!

Yelp
Low key family atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! Colorful interior with a little shop and just one table and a sofa and the folks here are very friendly and welcoming. Furthermore the food blew us out of the water! The wrap was very understated as "beans and rice and veggies" but it was seasoned and cooked deliciously with a lovely tasty veggie side salad! There wasn't any menu and this was the only thing they had but this dish was so spectacular! We also got to sample the blackberry juice which was very tasty with nice ginger undertones and I bought a coconut from the fridge which was cut and had lots of liquid and he even cut it open when I was done so I could eat the insides! Great value and an amazing little spot!

Yelp
This was an incredible experience, both dining and just enjoying the great music and hospitality. Got the spelt wrap and accompanied fruit salad (as well as some in-house made liqueur) and it was phenomenal.

Yelp
This is closest restaurant (in Miami) to have that "Family Feel." The staff is amazing and yes place is very different from other vegan spots. Not as pretentious as most vegan spots down here and I appreciate that. The restaurant doubles as a shop so you can stop by and pick up some amazing homemade black soap and jewelry. When it comes to the food, I am very impressed. It is always made fresh to order with what tastes like some of the freshest ingredients. I think they have a garden in the backyard. There salads are absolutely amazing and the wraps are very filling. If you're looking for something different, chill, and with great vibrations, Vegan Marie is the spot!

Yelp
The food here is Amazing and made with love. The couple that runs it spent so much time with us and made sure we were comfortable. We will be back! Huge portions and so tasty!

Yelp
Love that everything is fresh , home cooked and nothing processed . It's hardy and healthy and the juices are the bomb I'm obsessed!

Yelp
Vegan Haitian food with a lot of heart - This place was a little rough around the edges, but I still highly recommend it. The customer service was excellent, the portion was huge, and the food was amazing. I didn't think there was a chance I'd eat the whole thing that night, but it was so good I couldn't stop :) That being said, the food did take a little while, and I had some trouble with the bathroom door, but I promise if I'm in Miami again, I'll be making a point of returning.

Yelp

Yelp
This restaurant just signed on to Groupon and that's how I found out about it. Staff is just like a welcoming family. Now, I'm not sure how this restaurant is 100% set up, it looked like it has a food truck outside. Inside I only saw two tables and some sofas to sit at. All food here will be made at the moment you order, so if you are in a hurry either call ahead or think about another place. Food was above average and it shows that they are serious about vegan cuisine. There currently is no menu like a regular restaurant and the courses change daily. Please keep in mind that it's centered around Haitian dishes, so you are not going to see stuff like the impossible burger, vegan premade, etc. The portion sizes are large, some huge (like the wraps) There is no indication of what menu items cost. Street parking only in this area and make sure you do not park in the lots next door as you will be towed, etc. You can park in front of the restaurant if there's room. Would like to see the actual inside space fixed up to look more like a restaurant or at least to have a proper eating area (they fixed us a table outside and that worked out) Would like to see the restroom area tidy and with paper towels and liquid hand soap. As of this writing they do not add salt to the dishes even though they will provide it if you need it. It certainly is a different experience. Thanks for making us feel welcome and thank you for a nice meal.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and Emmanuel was very helpful. They do drum circles every Sunday and are very family oriented. They also sell clothing, oils, jewelry, herbs, and spices. I recommend eating here 100%

Yelp
The owner and her family were wonderful! They had great products and amazing juices! They all have a hint of ginger. Absolutely wonderful and recommend stopping by if you're in the area
