Excellent food and service! Would highly recommend you come here for brunch/lunch if visiting Bend. They were open till 2pm on weekends. The portions were laaarge!!! So wait for your food before getting more! Food was very good! Anything you get- you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be plenty satisfied! And, our food came out in 10-15mins. The best part of all— they have a bajillion delicious hot sauces that you can pick from, yourself! We will definitely come back here when we visit again!

Blood orange mimosas and birthday breakfast. I couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy a day for me. I definitely plan on bringing my mom to celebrate asap. I love the food. Its cute amd cozy. It is a small building so dont expect to bring a party of 20 without filling the joint. Totally worth it. Such amazing service and food. Plus MIMOSAS WUCH AMAZING MIMOSAS

Dog friendly patio scored the most points, lol. In all seriousness, the service, food and atmosphere was amazing. The patio was covered where we sat, and had a strong overhead heater. The staff was super sweet, was nice to our dog and made sure we always had water and coffee. The food came out promptly and was delicious 😋 The Bloody was loaded, highly recommend.

Food is delicious however parking and long wait can be challenging especially on weekends! But definitely worth the wait! As a bonus have an awesome hot sauce wall

Everything was delicious. We had an omelet, half classic eggs Benedict, beet hash, biscuits and gravy, and bloody Mary, and ate every single bite.

The food was amazing. Loved the potatoes they served. And their pancakes are delish! The inside is so quaint but snug. Some of the booths are a challenge of you're tall but there are other options The staff is oh so kind and courteous. And attentive. Great restaurant. Highly recommend

Hefty portions, savory goodness, and coffee like a waterfall. This place has hype, but it is deserved. Also, they have many good things, but the hash is super duper good. Service was absolutely amazing and very thoughtful, and the ambience is like you are at your g-ma's house and she is an amazing breakfast cook, like too good.

This is a great place for brunch! The food is delicious and the bloody Mary's are a good price and so yummy! The patio is where you can people watch, eat, drink and relax. The service is good too!

We are visiting Bend and had a few different people recommend the Victorian Cafe for brunch. We were warned about the wait but still ended up arriving at prime time -- Saturday at 10:30 am. It's not clear at all where to find the hostess -- she's the one with the iPad at the end of the bar ... unless she's off doing something else, then you have no idea where to check in (we were not the only ones with this issue). When we finally connected, we were told the wait would be 1 hour, 15 minutes. Sounds harsh but with a terrific bar on the patio and a beautiful, warm morning, we were game -- heck, we're on vacation with nowhere to be! We grabbed a couple of tasty mimosas and a seat on the patio. While I can't say the time went fast, the people watching was bested only by the dog watching. Our name was called right at the promised time. We ended up at an inside table by the window and fairly quickly got coffee, water and menus. That was the last thing that was quick. We made our decisions and waited for the waitress to return -- by this time, we were pretty hungry. Hubby ordered the smoked salmon Bennie, I selected the sweet potato hash, which came with a scone (or toast, but who turns down a scone?). After about 10 minutes, we needed a coffee reheat and had to track down the waitress to ask for it. Ok, busy morning, we get it. Then the scone arrived. It was warm cinnamon with cinnamon butter and should have been wonderful. My advice -- skip the scone. It was dense and flavorless and shaped like a 3-year-old play dough project. A total of 30 minutes passed from the time we ordered to the time our food arrived, with no ETA or check-in from our waitress. I totally understand that a popular restaurant at peak time will be busy but it would have gone a long way to hear an update from her. Good news -- when it arrived, the food was delicious, with very generous portions. Lots of smoked salmon in the Bennie. The hash had candied bacon bits, chopped hazelnuts, goat cheese crumbles and raw curly kale in it with 2 eggs on top. Amazing combination of flavors! My only thing was that the raw kale was too pronounced; I would have preferred a more tender kale and for it to be cooked down a bit. There was so much, I took half of it home for another meal. Our bill for 2 was around $60, not including the pre-meal mimosas. So ... VC is a little bit of a mixed bag for me. Some things are wonderful but the service issues and timing need to be addressed.

I was a bit disappointed by my experience here. Service was lovely and ambience was homey, but the food felt short of expectations - especially for being so well-loved in Bend. I got an omelette special that had mushroom, sausage, spinach, goat cheese, onions. It came with a side of potatoes and a homemade scone. The scone and potatoes were good, but nothing spectacular. The scone was very crumbly and a little dry. The scramble was loaded with toppings, but the flavor was like a group project that didn't know how to work together. The sausage had an interesting texture and the flavor wasn't good. I ended up just picking it apart and eating the toppings separately. Neither of us finished our food and I'm not sure if we ordered the wrong things or came on an off day. Hospitality was great and it feels like you're dining in someone's home. Cozy and welcoming. The food leaves much to be desired and I much rather go to McKay's.

Brunch in Bend... Victorian Cafe is a staple!! You can usually expect a bit of a wait but it is well worth it. They've got a beautiful outdoor seating area to compliment dining inside. It was great weather this weekend so we grabbed our drinks outside and hung out by the awesome firepits while we waited for our table. Chloe and her mom were our servers and they were amazing. Super kind and took great care of us. I had the Pepper Bloody Mary and the Fried Chicken Benedict and they were both incredible. Highly recommend! I can't wait to go back!

Definitely a busy place for a Sunday brunch. It was 1 hour 15 min to get seated and then about 40-45 minutes to get your food once you ordered. The food was delicious but not worth the wait tbh. The wild salmon Benedict was quite good. We had a lamb Benedict (that was supposed to be duck but they were out). This was a special of the week and tbh was just fine. The fried chicken Benedict was the best of the 3 Benedict's we got in my opinion. The biscuit & gravy was big and quite good. We also ordered the sweet hash & joy, I feel like you could make this at home so wouldn't get again.

Got short rib Benedict. Flavor of short rib was great along with the morel mushroom and portion was very good size. The poached eggs were overcooked however which kind of ruins a Benedict. Asked for crispy bacon and it def was not. Great service tho

Came to see what all the hype was about! Other reviewers are spot on - hot sauce wall is awesome, servers are friendly, and the portions are massive. Parking is a nightmare, it can be hard to flag someone down for coffee and/or the bill when they're busy if you're tucked off to the side, and the food wasn't *actually* that great, especially considering the price. 4 stars because it's a great lil spot with a great spread and time to table + time to eat is excellent. Would recommend a visit!

I had the best day ever and I think that it's because I started my day at Victorian Café. We were able to sit outside on a sunny summer Tuesday and try out this amazing breakfast spot which has to be the best breakfast I've ever had in Bend. I love that they have so many eggs Benedict varieties and that you can even do a half order instead of a full one while getting to try out many savory and sweet options on their menu. It was so nice that we had to do it twice and even came back the following day as well. I ordered their eggs Benedict that was on the Texas toast with hot fried chicken and homemade coleslaw. Every bite, it was crispy, savory, and the perfect combination of flavor. And they even let me order single blueberry pancake, the edges were crispy with a nice dollop of butter and maple syrup. I was in heaven with my chai latte which you couldn't even tell had a bit of crater like vodka in it. This really perked up my morning before we headed off to see some waterfalls and the food kept me full late the evening as we went to a concert at Hayden Holmes amphitheater later that day. I would truly recommend coming here again. The service was great. Everyone was delightful. I always make sure to celebrate the small businesses, especially if I'm visiting from out of town and ensure that we are supporting the locals for putting so much heart in love into their food and what they do.

Love the menu, the drinks, and the service. I only wish they took reservations, but then again, that could ruin it. I didn't mind being forced to wait by the fire outside and enjoy an amazing cocktail one but!

So tasty! Be prepared for a long wait if you get there after 9am on a weekend. This place gets busy, but for good reason. One of my favorite brunch spots in Bend. They have a large menu with tons of options and speciality cocktails. The mimosas are quite small. I recommend getting the large. Even the mid-mosa is about a regular size drink. Delicious chai and coffee too for non alcoholic options.

Atmosphere was nice. We sat in the back area. Server was great and paid attention. She even came back to double check on my friend who needed Gluten Free. Food was great and large portions so each couple split an eggs Benedict meal. Would go again. Only recommendation is a better choice of coffee. That was a hard pass for me and we all know I like my coffee!

Sorry wait but it was well worth it. Has the Reuben eggs Benedict and I didn't know I needed this in my life until now. Corned beef was tender, sauerkraut had a nice clean tang, and the homemade applesauce paired perfectly with it Highly recommend if you want a delicious breakfast... The fresh squeezed grapefruit juice in the Greyhound is also amazing.

Dropped in here on a short trip to bend and was excited to try it after receiving glowing recommendations from 3 different people. Got in around 830AM on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking and seating available. Inside was a cute little space that felt like a converted house, not quiet but not loud. We were quickly brought waters by a busser and then sat without being noticed for about 15 minutes before being greeted by the server. Looked like she may have been on break, okay fine. She smiled and took our order quickly enough, we got the blueberry pancakes and the breakfast burrito. Plus two coffees. Breakfast burrito was okay. Kind of bland on the flavor - expected some character from the sausage but was kind of all uniform in taste . The blueberry pancakes were pretty much totally raw in the middle - liquid pancake mix and cold blueberries. My partner ate around the edge and we didn't want to send it back and be a pain. Coffee was warm and full for the duration. Overall Victorian cafe was... fine. Nothing to write home over. Price a little high for what felt like a pretty mediocre experience. Not likely to return next time I'm in bend.

omg idk what's up with you bend people or we just went on a bad day but this food tatstes like cheap. It was not worth our wait we waited 3 fucking hours for that and there where empty tables as well and the workers just said that it was full..? sevice is so slow. But the restaurant is kinda clean.

Great little breakfast spot but steep prices so it's definitely not just a hometown cafe. The ladies that work there are all super awesome and friendly. Service was quick, including food wait time. I was actually shocked because most of the tables were taken and my food came out really fast. They have a hot sauce wall here and that's what every place needs to consider because YUM! The scone was bomb diggity and I really loved all the different flavored mimosa options. The omelette helped cure my hangover and I downed the bottomless strawberry lemonade. So good! Cute place and if you have a large group, maybe call before hand so they can save a place. The parking lot isn't huge but I was able to find a very close spot in the neighborhood next to it.

To be honest we had a bad experience but the staff and owner of this place made up for it. Bad days happen even in the service industry but I would recommend this place a thousand times just based on their generous and kind team! They took such good care of us and the food was amazing.

Victorian Cafe was rated as one of the best breakfast places in Bend. I agree that it's good, but they can do better. The vibe I felt was that we were top-notch in the 2010s, but left little room for change in the 2020s. To start, the local staff do an amazing job at making folks feel welcome. They know many guests by name, and you can feel their community-centered focus. However, some guests feel very comfortable, allowing their dogs to prance all over guests in the outdoor seating and waiting areas. We observed multiple guests letting their animals walk all over other people, including us, and we were glad not to have a long wait for tables. After adding ourselves to the waitlist, we ordered coffees poured into paper cups with plastic lids and paper stir sticks. If guests intend to stay, I'd highly recommend using reusable mugs that folks can bring inside instead of contributing to waste while avoiding temperature cooling. Thick mugs will hold the heat better since a few guests complained about how cold their coffee got. I even ordered a new coffee when we sat inside for this reason, and I felt bad about the single-use items. The tables were cozy, and I really enjoyed the interior space. The vibes of mountain cabins crossed with neighborhood café are well done and pleasant. The menu is quite large, so take your time ordering. Ask about specials, since we weren't aware of them until we ordered. The plated meals are huge. Everyone we observed left with substantial portions, including us. We recommend trimming the menu, focusing more on seasonal and local fare, and adding higher-quality menu items and slightly smaller dishes for the prime experience. Moreover, the prices for each item could decrease, enabling guests to truly choose what they want to order. We overheard a few tables discussing the value proposition for the items and size, and they agreed that smaller meals could go a long way. I would love to return in the summer to enjoy the patios!

Great atmosphere. My wife loves the man sized mimosas. Service was quick this morning(Thursday). Specials can be hit and miss.

We had a wonderful brunch. We did have to wait for 40 minutes before we could get a table. However, it was worth it. The food was delicious! The service was excellent and we enjoyed sitting outside.

The service was great. The location is fab, and the beautiful patio seating. The selections are wonderful. My eggs Beni tasted good but the eggs were cooked hard. Very sad because egg Beni are their specialty. They did discount the bill. But that doesn't make the eggs soft!

Worth the wait! Suck it up- order a drink & wait patiently! You won't be disappointed! THE BEST dessert French toast of our lives was served-up here: (the daily special) the Biscotti Cheesecake French Toast! There simply aren't enough words to describe it: decadent, slightly crunchy, creamy dreamy, fresh, artistically divine! The Farmers Burrito was THE BEST breakfast burrito ever!! Summed-up in two words: Food Buzz! The flavors worked so well together. Every bite was full of potato, avocado, bacon, ham, etc. and not filled with egg. Again- do your stomach a favor- wait this one out!!! It's a MUST!!!

It was quite busy and for good reason. Staff were attentive and sat us immediately. My step daughter had the Godfather Eggs Benedict. It was the best eggs Benedict she's ever had. I had the Lazzaroni French Toast. It didn't disappoint. Portions were really big. I think next time we would split the meal. She also had the Proud Mary Bloody Mary. We will be sure to stop in again if we are through this area. Delicious.

Popped in for brunch on a Sunday. The place is bustling! Instead of waiting for a table, my hubby and I opted for the bar seating - first come, first served, but much shorter than a 45+ min wait. The menu is a bounty of breakfast goodies. Benedicts galore, tons of classics, inventive plates to tantalize anyone's AM start. I loved my huevos rancheros! Tasty! And the pickle Bloody Mary was a tangy twist I loved! Overall, a great place to saddle up for a super fulfilling meal.

My wife and I have eaten here and we've both loved the food. It's always fresh and delicious. We've always ordered different foods on the menu and all of it has been delicious. The service has always been great and the staff is always attentive. The ambiance is great and it's a feeling like you've been invited into someone's home, which it was someone's home at some time in history. Every time we've gone there for breakfast we've always been seated in the same area of the restaurant section we sat in the first time we ate there. It's a part of the restaurant like hexagonal library reading area surrounded by windows. The ambience is great and I recommend eating here.

Guys! You gotta try this place!!! I cannot rant enough about how good this was! We showed up on a Sunday morning, not super early, and only had to wait around 20 minutes. It was crowded, but after tasting everything, I can understand why! I have the privilege of being born on National Eggs Benedict Day (yay, me!) and as a result, a good benny is one of my favorite things!! Not only does Victorian Cafe have good bennies, they have unusual bennies! (Not like strange or anything, just ones that you don't see on other menus!) Our table tried three different selections and the odd ball out (my brand-new son in law) had the sweet potato hash - also scrumptious! I took the liberty of ordering the Elvis French toast for the table to split and yeah... it was super delectable and rich!! Service was great - for being so busy, they were super on top of everything! Friendly and efficient! This is one hoppin' place! I love that the outside "bar" is available for those that are awaiting tables - and the fire pit table is a bonus when it's chilly! All of that to say.... try the Victorian Cafe!!! TODAY! (haha)

I just had one of the best meals I've had in Bend. The Morel mushrooms on my prime Benedict were probably the highest quality mushrooms I've ever had. Shae was our server. She was absolutely lovely and did an amazing job. If you're in Bend this is a must!

Upscale breakfast. If you are going to pay $20 or more for eggs it should have local moral mushrooms, steak, or even lobster. This place is getting the most they can out of breakfast. Along side their regular menu they have a good rotation of specials. They also have a huge selection of hot sauces and a bar.

While Bend isn't known for cheap eats, this place is pricey for being very average. They are known for their bloody Marys and Benedicts so I've tried a few hoping to find what people rave about. Bloody Mary mix tastes just like a basic store bought mix, a bit more lemon forward flavor which makes it a little sour. They start at $11 and go up to $24 for the novelty Mary with a meatball and novelty sides added. Still just an average drink. The food is okay - generally tasty, basic good flavors, etc. But absolutely nothing special. The biscuits, gravy, muffins, hollandaise tastes store bought. The biscuit and gravy reminded me of a hotel breakfast option. The breakfast potatoes are often partially undercooked and under seasoned. All the dishes I've tried remind me of a basic diner breakfast- good in its own right - but for $18, $20, $25 a plate? Gave it the college try as people keep raving about it but after multiple tries I give up on this place. I'd recommend you pass on this overrated place. Go to a diner or for a more unique great breakfast head to Chow, about a mile away on Newport.

This is a great little café and it looks older, but I like that vintage look in cabin field in the small town. The service was really great and the ambience wasn't noisy at all, and it was really accommodating when you needed something and what not. The food is really good and I highly recommend getting the burger, especially the chicken. Great for lunch or brunch or dinner so come on in if you're stopping by this town in Bend!

Breakfast at Victorian Cafe was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious with generous portions. My husband enjoyed the Huevos mazatlan and I enjoyed the hobo potatoes. I chose the scone for my side and it was so good. We were stuffed by the end but wanted to try their pancakes so our server suggested we just order one, which we did and it was also really good. I also recommend the coffee. It was fairly quiet when we went so we were able to chat, which was really nice. We found Victorian Cafe on a list for the best breakfast in Bend, and it did not disappoint!

Monday morning. The place was packed. For good reason-we quickly found 2 seats at the bar and began one of the best breakfast experiences we've had in a long time. From the Bloody Mary, coffee, spicy fried chicken Benedict, banana cream pie French toast, and biscuits and gravy..... all superb! The service was excellent-from the greeter to our server and the others pitching in. Highly recommend.

I kept hearing about this place so I had to end on this note before heading to the airport. They even got me in under a bit of a crunch. Delicious chicken n waffle beni from the specials menu. Great brunch ambience, great service, great menu items. Recommend!

What a cute place. Dark inside with a bar, and tables in the front and back room. Outdoor lounge and eating area. Our server was very pleasant and prompt. Food was delivered quickly. I had the cinnamon scone instead of toast with the green hornet omelette. The omelette had a bit of kick as it had jalapeños along with spinach, avocado, asparagus, and green scallions. The breakfast potatoes were sliced thin with light seasoning. The scone was freshly baked. I thought it was undercooked but as time went on it seemed to finish baking. We also had the Goofy which seem to be the cheapest thing on the menu yet very fresh and filling. I can see why this place is open n Bend's Top 10. Very comfortable and great quality.

Awesome as always, however, the eggs were not poached, a bit on the hard boiled side... must've been an off day in the kitchen. But the ambiance, staff and presentation was wonderful! My favorite spot to visit when I'm passing through Bend.

It was just okay. Maybe we went with high expectations after seeing so many good reviews. I had the blueberry pancakes that were very dry and I could detect a faint onion flavor. Were they were cooked on a surface that previously cooked onions? My partner had Eggs Benedict which was good although the potatoes with it were smashed and unappetizing. We were looking forward to a good cup of coffee and that also was disappointing- watered-down or weak flavored. We will not be returning.

Very unique, excellent food. We got earth harvest Benedict. Sweet potatoes and kale topped with a basil hollandaise sauce. This one was my favorite. Walla Walla Omelet - an omelet with apple and Gorgonzola cheese. Who would have thought to put apple in an omelet but it works. Wheat scone - nice and simple :) I appreciate it wasn't covered in icing. For sides, got potatoes (delicious!) and apple sauce ( which we did not care for.. it was way too sweet for my taste) Over all unique and good food. Excellent services. A little bit of a wait time even on off hour of week day. Not sure how packed this place would be on weekend.

Wow!! My husband and I came here on a random Monday morning and were so confused as to why it was SO BUSY! We decided to sit at the bar and not wait for a table. The drip coffee was so fresh and had great flavor which immediately impressed us. We ordered our food and when I tell you...it was the best breakfast we have ever had. Made complete sense as to why they were so busy!! It's worth the wait!! I am definitely getting a blood Mary next time though!

We are always up for trying a new place. This time my wife searched Yelp! for a good place for a Saturday Brunch. Victorian Cafe sounded like a good place to try. Waze took us there; but, in my opinion, not by the best route. The very small parking lot was full. We found a spot on the street about a block away. It was a chilly day and we were surprised at the number of hardy souls eating outside. Once in the door we were greeted and quickly added to the waiting list. Almost immediately my phone received a text tells me that we were on the waiting list. Less than 10 minutes later, I received a text notifying me that our table was ready. We were seated at a table for two in a room around the corner from the bar. We were given three menus: specialities, lunch, and breakfast. I was going to ordered the Basic Benedict; but, was distracted but the Hot Chicken Benedict with potatoes. My wife ordered a California Omelette with a scone. We both ordered coffee and small orange juice. The scone was very good. I really liked the potatoes. If you like a spicy breakfast the Hot Chicken Benedict is for you. You might consider the parking situation a negative; but, there seems to be plenty of street parking nearby. My only negative with the food was that the coffee was on the weak side. I like a strong dark roast coffee. We will be returning to Victorian Cafe.

If it wasn't for the good, friendly service and ambience, this place would get a 1 star. It has a great patio that was full, so we sat inside. Inside was nice and comfortable. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Whoever is cooking eggs in the kitchen needs to find a new job. Had THE worst overcooked omelet I've ever had! The only good thing on my plate was the homemade scone. My wife's eggs ordered "scrambled cooked soft" were scrambled cooked extra dry. Hate to leave a bad review for a place that has so much potential, but there's much better breakfast options in Bend. You'd think with so much competition, you would make sure your food is on point.
