A wholesome and healthy bowl of only 9 ingredients: brown rice, black and red beans, avocado, cilantro, olives, Tillamook cheddar, sour cream, salsa and Tali Sauce! The Whole Bowl is perfect for those with a vegetarian or vegan diet (you can omit the cheese and sour cream), those who are indecisive on what to order (there’s only one choice!), and for those who are in the Williamsburg area wanting to try something new and delicious.
The only thing you have to decide on when you visit is what size bowl you want to eat:
- Bambino Bowl (12 oz) for $8.95
- Big Bowl (16 oz) for $9.95
- Insatiabowl (24 oz) for $11.95
- Hyperbowls (feeds 10) for $55 [party timeee]
It’s super farm-to-table. When I ordered my Big Bowl a few days ago at The Whole Bowl, I opted for all the ingredients, minus the cilantro. There was a spicy version, but my milder version already had a nice kick to it. The pairing of the side of kimchi was perfect - a different pop of flavor after intaking spoonfuls of my Whole Bowl. The quality of all the ingredients were great and I love the Tali Sauce. The Tali Sauce seems to be something special to only a couple of businesses in Portland when I googled what it consisted of (which was a lot of ingredients). It is creamy, lemony, and garlicky - made my bowl that much more flavorful when mixed up with the rest of the ingredients
I love WB’s interior green plants decor. It is bright, fresh, clean, and has a seating area that could fit about 15 people. Their cute slogan “It’s Like Eating A Hug” is lighted up on the wall. The Whole Bowl is originally from Portland, Oregon, so I wish them the best in their East Coast expansion!
